61  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: People & Bitcoin on: November 12, 2015, 11:25:06 AM
How many people do you know that are related to bitcoin? Do they know what is it?
Do you have friends or family members who are trading with bitcoin?

Not many. Only 3 that I introduced to bitcoin myself. One of them is now a trader and the other just occasionally uses it. But havent seen much adoption.
62  Economy / Speculation / Re: MMM ponzi effects? on: November 12, 2015, 11:24:08 AM
My question is, MMM has any associated with Bitcoin?

Yes, MMM Global requires a deposit payment made in Bitcoin to buy Mavros (MMM tokens) and play the give/receive game.

MMM doesn't use Bitcoins only, they also use Bank to Bank Transfers but other MMM members don't want the Bank to Bank transaction since it will require them to go to the Bank or use a mobile app and their personal information will be known. That's why majority uses Bitcoin. There are members of MMM that uses a fake name and have multiple accounts.

But why did that factor alone cause the price to go so up ? Wouldn't like a LOT of money be required to drive price up alone ? Like literally so many millions for that rally up to 500 ?
63  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is there a way to earn at least $1 in BTC per hour? on: November 12, 2015, 09:14:28 AM
Looks interesting be able to earn 8 dollars1000 clicks ,soo the big question what are we talking about ,captcha usually pays 1.20dollars for 1k here looks like there is 8 dollars soo kindly share with us .

You are not serious are you ? With the current rate its anyways less than 1 cent per captcha. Are you saying you find it much kinder only because some other sites pays 1 cent for 10 captchas ?
64  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will BTC reach $500 during november? on: November 12, 2015, 09:12:03 AM
In the CoinDesk poll, some 38.7% of bitcoin enthusiasts said they think the digital currency’s price will end 2015 at or near its current levels, with 4,370 of the 11,293 respondents predicting that bitcoin will be valued at between $351 and $500.

Thirty-three percent of those surveyed said they think the bitcoin’s price will rise to $501–$1,000 by the end of the year. This was followed by the $201–$350 category, which received 10.6% of the votes.

so i think $500 will be come again at end of this year?

If only those people were also buying instead of only speculating.
Looks like it is moving around abit now but far from expectations from what everybody is saying it will reach so high by month's end.
Somebody mentioned btc being $160 at the beginning of the year. I never really recall it being that low. And it is a bit of shocker when you think about it where we are as of now.
Not much. Its just 20$ since yesterday. Price correection again probably after the 80$ crash in one day that happened from 400-300.
65  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Black Friday - Episode 4: A New Hope on: November 12, 2015, 09:09:58 AM
I hope people buy tons of thing with bitcoin

Why? It will make merchants very curious about it, and we will see many merchants join + We will see many customers joining too. You know buying some gifts for X-mas with bitcoin will definitely make people especially young ones curious.

It can be an avalanche of adoption, even if the price shrinks a bit (due to merchants selling).

The long term gains outweight the short term losses!

If only we can have someone like AMazon or ebay accept bitcoin, that would leikely make a lot of people pay with bitcoins. Only then we can probably have a big impact.
66  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Methods of growing your Bitcoin? on: November 12, 2015, 09:08:51 AM
trade is 1 choice for growing your bitcoin
if you have 10btc and you sell your bitcoin at $500 then you buy back at $300
so you can growing your bitcoin with 60% profit Wink

that sounds simple. but how do u know if a price will fall back down. just like when it is $50~. it just keep growing and growing. so at that time when it rise to $100 and you sell. u realise u end up have to pay more just to get back the btc.

you must ready to "lose" before you think you can get profit
it's simple if you think it's simple and it's can be hard if you think it's hard

Not always, in trading I have found practice helps a lot. So you can actually practice with smaller amounts first and then move to bigger amounts after lot of practice.
67  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Oops, I hit the wrong button on my phone! on: November 11, 2015, 08:56:57 PM
Can also just happen within a day. I think it depends on the traffic and the volume for that day. Last time I sent money with a much lower fees than 0.0001 BTC , it got confirmed in 5 hours.
68  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Trying to raise money to start a Tampa Bay / St.Pete BTC meetup! on: November 11, 2015, 08:55:47 PM
A better idea would be to keep a 1$ fees for the people who show up at the meetups. Thats what we used to do at my place . By keeping a small fees also let us take care of costs and some food and drinks extra. e
69  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Black Friday - Episode 4: A New Hope on: November 11, 2015, 08:54:18 PM
I would love to see something that offers discount as well as integrates bitcoin so as to be used on other famous marketplaces. I don't think a lot of people usually would buy miners and all individually at this point .
70  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Purse to Launch Marketplace to Compete with eBay and OpenBazaar on: November 11, 2015, 08:52:54 PM
Kind of a stupid move and will likely not succeed . To counter it, all Amazon or ebay has to do is start accepting bitcoins and they will win over all the customers.
71  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will BTC reach $500 during november? on: November 11, 2015, 08:51:58 PM
it's pretty much stable at 350~ , I wont expect another bump before new year's .
370 pretty good.

That isn't true anymore. 350 range got broken and now we're hovering between 320 and 330. I hope we can stay above 300 but chances to fall below are getting bigger at the moment.
The $500 however I expect to see next year. This year I doubt we could reach it again.

buy support at the $300 price level looks strong. but we all know that a whale dump of +1000btc can get it below $300. you have to place everything in context. if whales are keen on prices above $300 then they will support it, if not, then we as normal to medium traders try to support it, while a whale can sell through our buy orders instantly.

The buy support at 300 isn't really strong. Its much weaker than the selling support which is in the range from 315 to 320. Even without the whale we can easily go sub 300.
72  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Illegal bitcoin exchange Coin.mx busted in NYC on: November 11, 2015, 08:50:10 PM
They were scammy anyway...  If the BTC price was listed on google as $100, it'd be listed on their website as $110.  Then the fees too...  I only used them because I could buy instantly with my credit card.  I was willing to pay their inflated price for the convenience of getting it instantly.  I recently discovered a BTC atm in my city, so now I don't have to worry about that retardedness of buying online...
That doesn't always indicate scammy behavior . A lot of other sites have price difference with respect to google. Most of the sites have its own traders so price vary independently. However mostly its close and with 5 dollars.
73  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Illegal bitcoin exchange Coin.mx busted in NYC on: November 11, 2015, 06:31:30 PM
18 million of fees from a paymenbt processing site not many have heard of sort of sounds fake. Why would criminals use them when they have something like bitcoin in the first place Tongue e
74  Economy / Digital goods / Re: Facebook Fanpage Likes | 100 likes for 1$ and more on: November 11, 2015, 06:29:58 PM
Risk of getting a ban on your account ? Its common I believe to get bans if you generate fake fan likes on your facebook page. I think same is also true for twitter.
75  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is there a way to earn at least $1 in BTC per hour? on: November 11, 2015, 06:28:12 PM
everyone can join in my worker service - paying up to 8$/1000 views/clicks Smiley

Thats probably the worst way to make money . Anyone can make more money through other means. Waiting and typing so many captchase to earn just 1 cents per capcha doesn't make sense.
76  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Black Friday 2015 on: November 11, 2015, 04:29:59 AM
Bitcoin comparison to Wall Street is not good. That's what we want to get away from it! Comparing the BTC to the financial markets will always be bad - it works and to always will work differently!
That doesn't even make sense in this context.

To others, is there a reason to expect something from bitcoin this blackfriday ? Specially when its only considered as an alternate method to money ?

Not like gold has a separate blackfriday for it.
77  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will BTC reach $500 during november? on: November 11, 2015, 04:28:05 AM
We fall from 384 to 330 in the last 24 hours. It would take us another day to get back to 384. And it would take another day or two to get back to 400 if everything is smooth. Hitting 500 by this month is not impossible but it only have a slight chances. Maybe Black Friday and Cyber Monday could lead Bitcoin to another route - hopefully a better route?

Black friday and Cyber monday and thanksgiving are probably bad for the prices instead of being good. They are times a lot of people need money in hand. And A lot of people wpould likely cashout their bitcoin to do that.
78  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If BTC makes it 10 years I think it would officially have "made it".. on: November 11, 2015, 04:26:55 AM
Some ponzi's have been around since 1980's... lol

Maybe even fiat is one. I don't think any ponzi has survived for so long though. + a Ponzi can lost forever epending on the scheme. Bit coin clearly isn't one, and people who think so should consider all the factors.
79  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin was predicted by a Nobel Laureate in 1999 !!! on: November 11, 2015, 04:24:39 AM
Name someone else who said this? You can't. This man is a genius.

Yes he is a genius and understands it well. But I won't say that no one else predicted it to . Even Nick Sbazo posted a paper back in the days  about the currency. EHe is also suspected to be Satoshi.

Sbazo could easily deny being Satoshi if he was only working under contract for Satoshi, i.e., Peter Thiel + Patri Friedman + Wayne Gramlich (dude loves trains and lives in California, and could've easily met Dorian).

Maybe, it could be them. Even I don't believe it is only an individual behind it. Very less likely to have so much knowledge in so many things and implement it perfectly. I guess we will never surely know.
80  Economy / Services / Re: Scribd PDF Downloading service on: November 11, 2015, 03:20:17 AM
Scribd also now offers a free trial for the first 15 days. So anyeone with a credit/debit card can sign up for a trial and discontinue after a week or so after downloading. Based on that you decrease the prices.

You still do give them your credit card info, as opposed to being anonymous with me.

Finally, a service I might use! Would you consider selling the method?

Well, I would for a good price. What are you offering for it?

For proof, the first Jr. Member+ can request a scribd.com link in comment, and he will have it publicly uploaded for everyone to see.
I would like that to happen. Please post that link.

Sure, why don't you be the one to request, I don't really care what link it is, I just need a valid member to give me a .pdf so that everyone knows that I'm serious.

True but still I feel the price of 2$ per pdf is kind of really high , when you could just use an old debit card if you haven't been using it muuch elsewhere . People usually give out information to so many sites already.
