Hi. Can someone tell me the reason why Kucoin put Solaris in "ST mode? Is there any problem from Kucoin side or they just do some updates before new year? And next year in January will be txbit officially launched?

Hi Adriano,

You could just have sent us your question instead. ST mode was set because of low volume. Now that the volume meets the KuCoin quality standards again the ST will soon be removed.

Posting big images about ST mode as you did does not help to maintain a positive sentiment for Solaris. It only works against Solaris. I guess you do not hold any Solaris....

Txbit will be launched in January. It has been said many times by the way.

Kes, any information about the development of AMS?

Many people are watching this topic and waiting for info  Smiley

Hi Greg,

I expect that 2019 will be a very good year for AmsterdamCoin. People might have lost their faith and that is quite understandable. Time goes by and nothing visible is taking place. I have started this coin as hobby,  but much is changed in the meanwhile. What started as hobby has turned out to be my future. Since the beginning of this year I have quit my job and started my company to work full-time on several crypto projects. All is going very well, nothing to complain. As I see AmsterdamCoin it is my showcase coin. That means I continue to support it. For the last year I am working with Solaris (XLR) to create a new exchange. That job is nearly done. Next year Solaris will be updated to the latest version of PIVX (its origin). Before that update is done, AmsterdamCoin will be updated first. I am very happy with my cooperation and I am sure that AmsterdamCoin will profit from this as well. See it as my baby, the root cause of changing my life. I will never ever let go of AmsterdamCoin, even if the price goes down the drain. My strong believe and love for AmsterdamCoin makes me continue until I drop dead at some point. Nobody seems to see it currently. Everyone is out for outragious price rise and mega marketing machines. Forget all the conventional crypto crap and follow my lead. One or two years and we will be spot on.

With kind regards to all supporters,

Kees de Wit - AmsterdamCoin Founder

Ps. I know gregofdoom for many years now and he is a great peron and supporter. Always friendly and emphatic. Wish all people are like him.

This message was written from the heart.

Hi everyone. I could do with some help please. Here goes.

I downloaded the QT wallet and encrypted it. I have since forgotten my encryption code but this doesn't bother me simply because I have only 1 xlr inside my wallet.

What I'm trying to do now is to reset the wallet but reinstalling the wallet does not do anything. Is there any way I can do to reset the wallet and set a new encryption code?

There is a file on your computer named wallet.dat. By default its located in your profile. For windows %AppData%/Solaris or on Linux ~/.solaris

Rename the wallet.dat file to something else. Just add a underscore to the filename and it is renamed. Next start your wallet and see the fresh wallet with new adresses.

Hello guys!

I have some problems building the new version 2.8.1 on Ubuntu 18.04

libzerocoin/bignum.h: In function ‘const CBigNum operator-(const CBigNum&)’:
libzerocoin/bignum.h:734:43: error: cannot convert ‘CBigNum*’ to ‘const BIGNUM* {aka const bignum_st*}’ for argument ‘1’ to ‘int BN_is_negative(const BIGNUM*)’
     BN_set_negative(&r, !BN_is_negative(&r));

Could you help me?

Just configure your compiler to use the included/ recommended dependencies. It is explained here: https://github.com/Solaris-Project/Solaris/blob/master/depends/README.md

Or, as alternative use the precompiled wallet which should work on Ubuntu 18 and can be found here: https://github.com/Solaris-Project/Solaris/releases/download/v2.8.1.0/solaris-daemon-2.8.1.0-linux64.tar.gz

i read  is 0.2 btc for update code  at yobit

is not so much if ams holders pay 5 $ each

$ 5,- i can afford for this, but are you sure about 0.2 btc at yobit , i thought it was 1 btc ??

The previous update I did a premium support request. So I added the 0.5 BTC Yobicode and nothing happened. I had to look day and night in their chatbox to get in contact. I guess that if we all look in their chatbox for admins and ask the wallet update to be performed based on this ticket, that has been on status "new" from 20-05-2018:
https://yobit.net/en/support/40f19b6596b77c3636b51faa3c47f44a219001f720f7e3d41a5594f5e45ee085

Where 20-05-2018 is the exact date of the new/current wallet release. I added the ticket immediately after I released v4.6

Vote for AmsterdamCoin to get listed at this new promising exchange: https://voting.txbit.io/Coin

AMS will be available for voting during all voting rounds. Each voting round lasts 2 weeks and after each round the number of votes are reset to zero. The current round we are behind, but in the top 10 of the list. So maybe we can win one of the next rounds and get our listing.

And Sorry, the coin that were transfe or deposit in/to Yobit, they are all lost?

When Yobit updates their wallet all coins that were sent to Yobit should become available.

Hi Kees,

can you sum up what we can expect of AMS ??

how far are you .. are you still on development of this coin ?

I believe the Amsterdamcoin team have kept building up the project.
stay tuned to get their coming news soon.

am i saying he didnt kept his promise??

i wounder what now... cause this way , its sinking very slow ... we need to do something ( i think)

Just hang on. AmsterdamCoin will find its way in our ecosystem. There are some very interesting possibilities in front of us. Good things take time and eventually patience is paid.

Can you explain what happened with the founds in BTC collected for the sell of AMS produced from the hack? what happened with all the AMS and BTC produced from the hack?

This is very obvious, right? The hacker sold the AMS and has withdrawn the BTC. The buyer did whatever he did with the AMS.

ams need  big community and many dev. and marketing team

How can the community help ?

I think here the Problem is we need more Communication.

The community can help talking to whoever rent apartments or hotel rooms.
Tell them to start using AMS... It's perfect for them and, all tourists, to help mass adoption.
Overcoat, do not break this blockchain, you really need it, you the Dutch. At least this one.

It should value 1 euro in a year maximum.

neet idea but i miss the dev,  he is last active on july this year ....

Dev if you read this , say something ( positive) ... we need you ...

Dont worry, still alive  Wink

Hi, will there be another change to recover coins lost during the HordFork?

Hello Team

We have a few questions and we hope you don't mind to answer.

1 - where is your company located?

2 - where is your whitepaper or light paper?

3 - where is your team? any links?

Thank you

1) Its flag is red, white and blue with a litle orange sometimes.
2) Papers are so anno 105 A.D., we prefer light emitting diodes these days.
3) I am glad that nobody knew that the name I am called is Rumpelstiltskin!

Thank you

No wait! Just post your address here. I will send you a white paper. Will A4 size do? Yellow one also fine maybe?

AMS is now ready for cross-chain dapps with the Blocknet Protocol!

Now that AMS is compatible with the Blocknet Protocol, it can be used in cross-blockchain dapps and traded on beta Block DX!

You can read more about Blocknet, the Blocknet Protocol, and Block DX here:

https://blocknet.co

https://sites.google.com/view/blocknet/directory

To get started with trading on Block DX, follow this setup guide: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1ciwLFSXwv6CXd3QEvVW88lHXo9CSIlweYOoSbDHkies/preview

The setup is in the process of being automated/abstracted so it's much easier and streamlined to use for beginners. In addition to that, in July we are planning to release SPV support which will allow for the creation of litewallets so whole blockchains will not need to be downloaded

Thank you very much! I recommend this service.

I am a big fan an investors of this coin, is there anyway we can help this coin to get more popular???

Price going up in CoinExchange!

Whit coins has been a Scam, lot of coins where "lost" in the coinswap. Some user(s) have to much AMS in there wallets. I suggest to look for a other project.

Special offer for Mr. Zeta, Just PM me the users or bring me in contact with those who have "lost" their coins during swap or whatever and I will pay them back.

I tried to send 100,000 AMS to make an another masternode from my Wallet but it displayed " transaction too large" and If I send a amount about 6,000 AMS the it's ok. what's the issue?

Its probably because you have lots of small outputs* from staking or masternode rewards. Transaction and blocks are limited to what size they can handle. The outputs* that you try to combine as input** for your new transaction exceeds the transaction size limit. Under the hood its writing out huge arrays of outputs that will point to an input for your transaction, but after serializing your transaction it exceeds the transaction size limit, resulting in the message "Transaction too large".

My advice is to send smaller amounts (like you say, 6000 will work) and then combine (hint: coin control checkboxes) them again until you have merged them completely. Just a few entries in coin control with larger outputs as result.

* An output is an amount that was sent (via a standard transaction) to a AmsterdamCoin address, along with a set of rules to unlock the output amount. In blockchain parlance an output is called an “unspent transaction output”, or UTXO
** A transaction typically references previous transaction outputs as new transaction inputs and dedicates all input AmsterdamCoin values to new outputs.

My Solaris Wallet won't load now.

Hoping you good people can help me again!

I had my computer off for a month or so while I was moving. It worked fine previously... I had / still have the latest version installed (2.8.0.0).

These are the error messages I get:

1. SOLARIS CORE - ERROR. Failed reading from database. pcoinsTip best block is not correct. The block database is in an inconsistent state and may cause issues in the future. To force start use -forcestart.

2. Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library.
This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way...

What do I need to do to get the wallet running again, please?!?

This is what happens when you forcibly close the wallet when it asks you to wait for it to close.

You can solve it by removing all data from the data directory except wallet.dat. Then start the wallet and let it sync again. Never ever ignore that screen that says "Do not close" again.

Advice: Some people tend to logoff or shutdown when the wallet is running. Windows wont wait for the wallet to close properly which can lead to this behaviour.

i have one last question keesdewit if yobit updates there wallet will then my lost coins be transfered to my yobit account?
will the it will be transfered to my yobit account or i have lost my coins?HuhHuhHuh?
i have same question?

If Yobit ever installs the new release your coins should come available. Until now there is no response. I ask everyone to look in the Yobit chat if theres an admin. Admins have blue names and most of the time it is BlackSmith or Warden that are admin. If you see them then please ask to update AMS as the dev requested through their ticket system.
