61  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Edward Snowden Final Warning for Bitcoin on: May 05, 2024, 03:39:47 AM
Edward Snowden is right I mean bitcoin is not totally anonymous in my opinion now there is organization that can track about bitcoin transaction heck you can track people.

But organization like Arkham can do the job more detail. So no wonder that Edward Snowden worries about this
62  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Could China (or similar) take control of Bitcoin? on: May 05, 2024, 03:23:32 AM
Could China (or similar) take control of Bitcoin? And my answer is Yes everyone can control of bitcoin if they had enough money and enough resources

And if you talk about a country it definitely can do that, 51% attack is doable right? And then if you want to do price manipulation you can buy as much as bitcoin and then can be act as a whale. Tho this is just my opinion guys
63  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin ETF good or bad? on: May 05, 2024, 03:04:05 AM
Bitcoin ETF good or bad? Well i would say that everything has 2 side the good and the bad one Proponents argue they could bring more mainstream adoption and liquidity to the cryptocurrency market. However, critics raise concerns about potential market manipulation and increased speculative trading. So this is that come up after I do google search.

So the point is in good side we probably gonna see more adoption in crypro especially bitcoin and i heard that other countries is also start adopting bitcoin etf aswell if this true we are gonna see more.major institution start to invest and crypto and bring the price could be higher

And the bad side is bitcoin most likely gonna related with real world event like economic decisions and price manipulation
64  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The reason why you shouldn't force someone to invest in bitcoin. on: May 05, 2024, 02:56:40 AM
The reason why you shouldn't force someone to invest in bitcoin. If he didnt like about bitcoin why bother to force someone in it. I had a friend who know crypro know about bitcoin and so on.

Long story short I introduced crypto world to 4 of my friend they actually learn from it and participate in altcoin called Idena while a go, 4 of them get paid from it but after a while the idena coin has dumped in price and there is problem there and 3 of my friend decided to not touching crypto again and only one friend that still like about crypto wolrd.

Im not pushing them i just give a little about crypro about the advantage and disadvantages so the final decision is on their

66  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will the number of new investors reduce? on: May 04, 2024, 02:15:24 AM
~SNIP~
In the long term, we can be sure of one thing: bitcoin will become more and more popular and the number of investors will increase every month and every year. But in the short term, I think the number of investors interested in bitcoin will probably decrease, for example some are expecting the price to increase after the halving. But so far, there have probably been many people who have been disappointed because bitcoin could not increase in price as they expected and maybe they will sell bitcoin and leave the market.

What new investors are interested in is the rise in bitcoin's price. But so far there has been no significant price increase since the halving, so it is normal that there are not many new investors entering the market during this period.
Yep in the long run bitcoin investor will ramp-up but in the short term I also believe the increase of bitcoin investor why it simply after halving a year bitcoin price usually are going to touch their new all time high and this bring a lot of new investor. the etf of bitcoin itself already bring a lot of new investor and its just the US if the bitcoin etf start being adopted by other countries as well we are gonna see a fresh cash and fresh new investor

Bear market is usually we are gonna see decrease of the investor in my opinion.
67  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you increasing your bitcoin investments because of today halving ? on: May 04, 2024, 02:10:17 AM
But if you guys have money Buying bitcoin now is still worth I mean the ATH is around 70K ish and I believe it could go higher at the end of 2024
It can be higher for this year or by 2025. Whichever is going to come first, it doesn't matter because we're basing it on the past cycles and the possibility is high to see another ATH. However, we've already seen a new one pre-halving at $73k.

And with that pre-halving ATH, there's a chance that will be higher than that.

But, do you guys are sensing the feeling of others that they're saying that the pre-halving ATH was the ATH that we're all waiting for? Because it's different this time but I'm more bullish than of those speculations that they're saying.

yeah the pre-halving is $73K and couple days ago bitcoin even hit $58K that is the lowest In my opinion after halving. So you or everyone who read this better buy at the 58K yesterday because today price is back to 62K

and I quite agree with you if the pre halving is 73K there is a chance that bitcoin is going to touch 100K at the end of the year or first quarter of the 2025

So what is your prediction?
68  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Making the Most of $100 bankroll on: May 04, 2024, 02:06:44 AM
Your friend is wise to consider bankroll management when engaging in sports betting. Proper bankroll management helps minimize the risk of significant losses and allows for more sustainable betting over the long term.

So money management is important here frennn  Grin Calculate 5% of the Bankroll: In this case, 5% of $100 is $5. Distribute Bets Strategically: Instead of placing $5 on 20 different bets, your friend might consider a more selective approach. It's generally recommended to focus on a smaller number of bets and to prioritize quality over quantity. Your friend could consider placing $5 on two or three carefully chosen bets that they feel confident about rather than spreading the bankroll too thin across numerous bets.

See with proper calculation you can make the best decision with 100$ worth of money tho I just google it freen so you can mix up with your strategy too
69  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If we lose in gambling, what do we need to do? on: May 04, 2024, 02:03:42 AM
If we lose in gambling, what do we need to do? the best answer for this question is face it you lose and you cant turn back time so what you gonna do. Face it is the best option at this point and you might regret it but time is marches on frennnn.

and other thing you can do is : Assess Your Situation: Take a step back and honestly assess your gambling behavior and its impact on your life, Set Limits in the next round, and lastly Take a Break: Consider taking a break from gambling to give yourself time to reflect and regain control.

70  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Would you cashout or wait for the game to conclude? on: May 04, 2024, 02:00:21 AM
That is equivalent around 143 Million rupiah and with that amount of money you can buy piece of land or brand new car so if the question Would you cashout or wait for the game to conclude? Im 100% going to cashout tho if you still want to play the game you can cashout 85% and go with the game with 25% if you can earn that amount of money Im sure you can do it again hahahhah. Dont let the greed consume you right now
71  Local / Bahasa Indonesia (Indonesian) / Re: Bagaimana cara mengubah bitcoin menjadi cash tanpa lewat crypto exchange indones on: May 03, 2024, 02:03:35 AM

72  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: cash out or let it ride? on: May 03, 2024, 01:59:10 AM
are u had luck in a year and put it on that game  Grin is that a winning streak $1,500 to return nearly $100,000 If I were you Im going to cash out 85% of it and let it ride the rest dude you literally generate 100K that is a lot of money and don't let the greed eat your body right now I mean if you win again you probably earn more but cash out is also needed in my opinion.  Grin

Tho if you had the confident cash out 85% and you can still play with the 25% and if you had the luck to you probably can earn 100K again in the next game hahah

In Your Country Who Gamble More? Young Ones or Elderly Ones

In my country slot games are very popular and it has become a headline news in all over the place

By looking at that image you can see that here in Indonesia there are more than 200K players in slot Ironically, this figure is dominated by young people in the 17-20 year age range. the news said like that so the young ones I believe who gamble more

74  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Streamers using demo account on: May 03, 2024, 01:50:59 AM
Streamers using demo accounts this is a little bit of a conspiracy but here in my country slot streamers with no face usually win a lot of money and of course the balance said it is real money with no "demo" word in any of the screen but when i watch streamer usually they had ton of luck. Yes some people believe that might actually a demo account filled with fake money by the gambling provider and give a huge win but I don't know how and this just become a discussion by some people who watch that streamer.

Since they using a mask no face and playing a slot on a new site so most of people don't believe in it.
75  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Buy a Bonus VS playing Slot on normal Spin - which do you prefer? on: May 03, 2024, 01:46:15 AM
In normal days I would play slot on regular spin so just normal spin and when money is at the last drip I usually buy a bonus spin both are actually same in my opinion all depend on the luck hahahha last time bet on mahjong buy bonus spin but still won nothing hahaha

With all due respect to everyone's choices, which are certainly not the same and some of them may lack logic, but I actually consider all slot games a waste of time and a waste of money without any satisfactory benefits.

Yeah and it is your choice some people just like playing slot heck the game is very popular most of the gambling site has it take example of duelbits now the site had lot of slot provider and each provider had bunch of game. Tho playing game is consider as waste of time and i mean by all game not just slot but most people found it playing game is fun including slot

77  Economy / Economics / Re: Harmful effect of robot to the world. on: May 02, 2024, 12:30:06 PM
To be honest I quite agree with you back then all manufacturers using human as the gear of the company to keep moving but if you got a modern factory in almost every country robots are being used as simple as rolling the dough. My concern actually same what happen with human later most the media news said that new job will emerge but in the world with AI robot and quantum computer I dont know if human would be needed
human are still needed to watch out how the robots in general operate as well as doing the creative work that are needed, gone the days where doing mundane task of repeatable activity such as rolling dough already.
this means, learning skill and being an expert at it is the way even more so for mechatronics, electrical engineering and so on, this world is the world that favour STEM graduates.

I agree with human are still needed to watch out how the robots in general operate but now human is needed to watch out and robot do all the things I know the reason is robot doing repeatable activity and push human to more creative and create new job but not all person have higher education IMO

Whoa! That's a bit too extreme, I'd say. You are simply overthinking it and making it sound like a problem too big which it isn't. It's real life and not a movie where robots and Artificial Intelligence take over the human race and want to have and control the world by themselves. That is only possible in fiction and not in reality because in reality, robots require maintenance, artificial intelligence doesn't operate by itself but it requires data to operate and it's us who do all that work for those machines and programs to work properly.

hahahha yeah maybe am bit too extreme and overthink right now but robot AI and stuff is getting smarter day by day I even look an AI create a short Movie and some music don't you think this crazy

not all countries will accept robots as workers in factories in their country, there will definitely be strict regulations regarding the use of robots in factories and employers are obliged to comply with that.

Yep they need to regulate or else factory gonna have 80% robot and yes not all countries is accepting robot but I heard tesla making car using almost all robot from stamping the aluminum sheet welding and paint job
for that we still have time to get better and try hard to get passive income from other sources.

I hope I get passive income next year  Grin
78  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is the game 'Fortune Tiger' or the little tiger game famous in your region? on: May 02, 2024, 01:46:24 AM
Do u mean this a slot game from the PG I never played it before heck I just barely knew it from you the slot game that is popular in my country are zeus and mahjong people play these games and win a lot but nowadays my friend said that Pragmatic play didn't give any jackpot for couple day so they moved to PG but I never saw people play this game
Hmm thanks for mentioning these, I'll look into it more.

Do most slot games work basically the same way? Is Tiger just one of the thousands of slots that exist?

Do most slot games work basically the same way in a simple term yes and if you well is close to win When you spin a modern slot machine, it generates a random number for each reel to figure out which symbol to show. A reel might have 3 blank spots and 1 jackpot symbol, but that doesn’t mean that you’re only 3 times as likely to get a blank spot.

But, even the blank spots aren’t evenly weighted. Let’s say that a machine’s random number generator is configured to show a blank spot on any internal result from 1–16. The blank next to the jackpot symbol is probably weighted more heavily than the others - maybe *that* blank shows up from 1–9, and the other two blanks get 10–12 and 13–16. - https://www.quora.com/Are-slot-machines-programmed-to-inveigle-the-player-with-almost-wins-or-close-calls-that-would-normally-not-occur

Is Tiger just one of the thousands of slots that exist? Yes basically all same you push the button and behind the scenes everything is almost same when you hit some pattern you win the game and win the money
79  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Claw Machines: a category of gambling? on: May 02, 2024, 01:43:21 AM
~SNIP~

So you mean, It's real that some claw machine has been set up? that's why sometimes there's a low chance of winning because the claw didn't work well even if you already placed it correctly in your target item. If that's the case, They tricked their customer in order to play more and more until they get at least 1 item from that machine, It is considered as a type of mini gambling and just a normal game at the same time because it gives us an exciting and interesting game while spending A lot of money.
I think it is pretty much a fact this is the case, if not then a skilled player could win most of the time by simply getting better at manipulating the claw, so the owners of those machines need to find a way to counter those players, and the way to do that is by manipulating the strength of the claw, this way it does not matter how much skilled a person may get when using the claw, as if the claw itself is not working properly, then they have no way to win no matter what they do.

Yeah South park already tell you the truth a claw machine has been a set up. the owner of claw machine did that I mean at the end of the day all of this is just for a profit and that it if you want to give some free stuff that fine you can make the claw even tighter and stronger maybe no skilled required for it.

Hahaha skilled player is everywhere and people who want to profit is also everywhere this is just business and people who play it sometimes just do it for fun and test their luck
80  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would you advise a friend in the same way? on: May 02, 2024, 01:35:04 AM
So let me summarize you had a friend whose dad is old and own a pile of cash in the bank and a company right? Did your friend need advice from you or this is just your initiative. I mean if the business is running well you can use the money in the bank to grow the company without bitcoin. Just tell them there is bitcoin + and - of it and let him decide, if you friend think forward he might consider to buy some bitcoin

I mean, there is nothing wrong with providing advice but it is important to make sure that the person receiving advise understands all the risks and everything involved with the investment suggested. So if a person is suggesting Bitcoin investments to a friend for his company, he needs to tell him both the positive and negative consequences of the investment so that if things so south in the future, he doesn't get blamed for his suggestion.

If I was suggesting something as volatile and unpredictable as Bitcoin to my friend, I would tell him straightaway that I do have some investment advice but I want him to know that there are risks involved in it, and then I would urge him to do some research about it and decide for himself and I won't be responsible for anything negative that might happen if he makes an investment in it because it will be his own decision.

it is important to make sure that the person receiving advise understands all the risks and everything involved with the investment suggested this is number one priority in my opinion tell him both the positive and negative consequences of the investment are also a good move

The point is that when you give some kind of financial advise to someone, especially a friend, to really have to stress about one thing: that person needs to do his own research. You need to give a hint, the first suggestion and a brief explanation of the reasons you think behind your choice of investing in bitcoin (or something else) but everyone is different so maybe a good reason for me could be a bad reason for you.

I agree with Ale that the person really need his own research first before go all in hence before he made any investment all we do is only give him a hint the good and the bad ane let he decide the final decision.
