61  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Behaviours of gamblers you dislike. on: September 24, 2023, 06:44:01 PM
Gambling is one engagement that has to do with so much risks and that's why people who can't manage the outcome of losing their money are strongly advised to stay out of gambling. One popular behavior among gamblers especially addicts is that they're always transferring their aggression on people around them whenever they lose their stakes in gambling and sometimes it does lead irreconcilable quarrells with people around them. It's very bad to behold most times.
This is without a doubt a very upsetting behavior, one of the things we must learn early on life is that things will not always happen in the way we want, and what we need to do is to adjust to those new circumstances and move on, however one characteristic a great deal of those that eventually get addicted have is their inability to accept they have lost against the casino or another player, it is as if they expect that everything should always happen in exactly the way they want, and when that obviously does not happen they get mad that was not the case.
There are things which are totally reliant on luck and there some in skills but like you said, no matter how eager we are of wanting it and no matter how much skill we have, it seems that all things in this world still needs a luck. It is hard at first once we fail but we can always move on. Maybe there are some who just end their lives immediately which is sad.

There are other negative characteristics of some gamblers but in no way of disliking it. That is their life anyway so why should I care? they can also think like us, where they also don't care that we are just calm. It is enough that their own characteristics are the ones that can give them a lesson.
62  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Betting significant amount on: September 24, 2023, 05:28:40 PM
Satisfying your thrills?? Hahhhh... Alright, in what way do you normalize the frequency - influenced by your thrills to betting significantly and utilizing even more of your bankrolls??.... How's that fun to you?? Hasn't there been a time that you feel used up too much and that you have to stop wagering for Christ sake???
Well, I understand how strong the urge is when you're on the losing side - it makes no difference when you keep wagering anyways.
Each are different. Some prefers low risks while some wants the higher one and the OP is among with it. Normalizing the frequency can be done by controlling our betting size or sessions. The OP might look addicted but I can feel that he still knows how to do it or to stop once he think is already going too much.

We can also stop once there is nothing left on our bankroll anymore, or on our main wallets. Usually after this, we can realize that gambling is bad and we need to stop this before it affects more in the future. When it comes to urges, indeed that it can occur anytime for an addicted gambler. For me, my urge can come after some time of stopping gambling.
63  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Warning] Don't share your casino account! on: September 24, 2023, 04:48:30 PM
I recently received multiple PM on my Telegram account that offers profit sharing for placing bets on their behalf.
What is the procedure for this? Do you have to risk your own money, or will they send you money to bet on a certain game as per their instructions? I'm curious because if they require you to use your own money and claim they will ensure you win, it sounds like they might be trying to scam you, and it may not be related to any legitimate syndicate or organization.
Nah you won’t get to use your money, you’ll give them the login details to your account and then they’ll find it and start using it for what they want to use, they might even use it to perform some other things that the casino might be against leading to your account getting blocked.

And another issue here is that once they get your login details, there’s no guarantee that entry won’t change your email and login details into something else, so you don’t only risk your integrity with the casino you also risk losing your account permanently if they eventually change all the details in it.
As long as you don't give the password of your email address, or the code in your OTP when you get a confirmation about changing your password, you will be safe, although like you said, they might still perform other abuses which can affect the reputation of our account.

Maybe there are also legit deals about this because some bettors are only being limited for winning too much. Limits might still be normal and not a kind of serious offense, and the limits can still reset after some time. If we are rarely playing, we can lend our accounts to them for a while and still make money passively, but if we are in doubt, then much better to ignore it.
64  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should i invest in this project or not on: September 24, 2023, 02:51:32 PM
One should invest where they have trust that the coin won't disappoint them. In my mind, only Bitcoin and Ethereum come to mind when we talk about genuine projects. However, I have also observed that there is a significant trend in the market for AI coins and Bot coins. Some people may certainly make a profit by investing sensibly in them,
Obviously, it is the goal in investing but some investors still lacks on something which makes them a failure. I'm not only referring to those who invest in new coins but even the old coins too. anything can go wrong if we are like that. I don't know if what are those bot coins you are talkin about but I think they are still related to AI. Speaking of it, I think the trend is already closing down and we are about to start another again, so think twice if you will still invest on them.

but it's important to be cautious about excessive greed, as it can lead to losses.
Everything excessive is not good anymore but a normal level of greed can still be acceptable. It can only make us hungry to learn more or push through our limits so that we can also get more benefits.
65  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: September 23, 2023, 05:08:05 PM
If Tamim Iqbal and Mahmudullah Riyad were not present in today's match, I don't know how shamefully Bangladesh would have been defeated. I have nothing to say about this match of Bangladesh against New Zealand.
Bangladesh cricket team performances keep going down the drain over time. They were unlucky in the last match actually thanks to rain interference since it looked like they would win that match.

Am not expecting them to go far in the World Cup thanks to their horrendous form these days.
We can blame BCB for this decline in performance as things are never been ideal for them to have any improvement into their domestic setup which helps them for having quality players in this format which was their best few years back, but now they are having poor results in all formats which is surely sad news for the Bangladesh cricketing community.

In this three match series which was going to help them in World Cup now they are down by 1 - 0 with just one match remaining and most chances they will lose this series if they keep playing like this batting is the biggest concern for them as their well experienced players were also not able to have anything positive against quality New Zealand bowling Ish Sodhi done impressive job with bat and ball hopefully they will give their best in big mega event as well.
66  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will there be a boom again? on: September 23, 2023, 04:25:43 PM
If you mean the "boom" is another ATH, then make faith in it as it certainly comes someday.
But don't think about it always as it affects your mindset and patience, some people get bored waiting and lose their faith, then miss the ATH again. We don't have to do that as our experience helps us to realize our wrongdoings in the past that we need to correct now. If we have faith in crypto and believe there is another BOOM, therefore, we must show courage and patience as well otherwise, we're not changing our style and behavior.
We cannot 100% convince people that ATH is certain. There is no certainty about ATH, but it is possible for one reason or another. Halving can increase the demand for bitcoin in the market because investors will take advantage of the moment to get a return on their investment, but miners will also expect higher values after the halving.

Bitcoin is already booming due to the fact that bitcoin has been known in various countries so far. If it is about price, then I think they will just have to wait until demand increases which in turn could push prices higher.
It's weird that we can't convince them, why wouldn't we convince them that something like that could happen? If you ask me I think that should be possible and we could probably see something like that happening. I believe that we are going to end up with a good boom and if they do not want to believe that, it is their own fault and they should trust the market.

I am not going to argue with them to try to convince them, if they do not want to agree then they do not want to agree, it is their own choice and I doubt that we would be able to change it. Let them do whatever they want to do and we could end up with a result that would be a lot more personalized for the people who trusted and held during this period and get rich when it goes up.
67  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Opinions on Native Coins/Tokens of Exchanges? on: September 22, 2023, 07:26:55 PM
So, one thing that's been on my mind is the native tokens of exchanges. You know, those little guys that make the crypto world go 'round within specific exchange platforms.
What are your thoughts on this? Are you holding any native tokens that may boom?
Native exchange tokens are good options for short-term investment. Buy BNB when it's down and sell it at a higher price during the alt season. They are better than other shit tokens. However, long-term investments in exchange tokens are not reliable because it is difficult to predict how long an exchange will work/survive, and you could potentially lose your money. Also, store your holdings in BTC (in offline/cold wallets) or offline investments after making a profit from these tokens.
Waiting for the altcoin season seems long and can be considered already as a long-term hold but why not? BNB and Binance are not new. I think their reputation are already enough to convince us of doing it. Not all exchange tokens are great and maybe some shitcoins are better than them because they can pump high.

Yes, we cannot predict the future of an exchange but we can monitor their performances so that we will have an idea if their tokens are still safe to HODL or not anymore. Non-exchange tokens do also has their own risk, so we should not be afraid and we should only invest the amount that we can afford to lose so that we won't worry or regret once we truly lose.
68  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: To Deal with Resistance and Support on: September 22, 2023, 01:21:24 PM
At the same price or in a same price range, resistance and support will change its role with time. At some point of time, a price is a strong resistance but at another point of time, it will become a strong support.

To deal with resistances and supports, you must know it and in action you must not bind yourself with an idea like that resistance is strong and can not be broken out, that support is strong and price will not be dumped under it. If you have such controversial thinking and belief, you will make bad trading positions and if you use leverage, Futures trading, you will be liquidated.
In the cryptocurrency market, anything is possible here so it's important to have a well-detailed plan so that we can prepare for every possibilities that can come. It's also important to have a clear mind so that we can we can do a proper action or we can decide easily. Beliefs such as superstitious can't do anything on here.

There are times that we can get a correct trade but it does not mean that our beliefs are working. In crypto trading, all we need here is knowledge in order for us to perform better. More if we will do those types of trades you mentioned there because all of them are very risky when compared to a normal spot trading.
69  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is the drive that makes women go into gambling? on: September 21, 2023, 06:21:30 PM
I think that the reason why most women go gambling is that they feel bored of being at home all the time and want to find additional income for themselves, so they look for other entertainment to relieve their boredom. Moreover, nowadays gambling platforms are increasingly easy to access, with just a few dollars now they can make deposits and play various games directly from their devices.
They could be bored on doing the same thing over and over again but not bored in a way that they don't have anything to do because women are known to be assigned in the house chores and baby sitting. Women are still a human that needs entertainment and gambling can be a good source of it. They should only gamble properly because if not, only the bad things are the ones that they can experience.

So, we men as their partner should allow them. They don't need to leave their house anymore because like you said, there are now online gambling and we can easily access them using almost any device that has a capability to access the internet.
70  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How late is too late to place a bet for a gambler? on: September 21, 2023, 05:46:10 PM
Gamblers with the less experience only do the gambling at the last minute betting. The betting at last minute almost the risky one,the gambler should not gamble in the hurry. With my knowledge the gamblers who do gambling at the hurry had loss their money most of the time.If the gambler really want to win the game,he should build their own tactics. If you do the random bet in the gambling,it may leads to the loss most of the time.If you like the dice to play, then you keep bet and most of the time you loss.Becasue you are ready to do random bet in the gambling.
Now, isn't that pretty clear? People who are new to gambling make mistakes when they place bets at the last minute. As someone who has gambled a fair amount, I can say for sure that rash choices almost always result in losses. And I don't mean to be rude, but it looks like a lot of these new gamers could learn a thing or two from the pros. Making plans is very important. Chance bets? That's not a good idea. Some people seem to think that gambling is all about not being careful and hope for the best. If you like to play dice, then go ahead and do it, but be smart about it. Bets that are all over the place will only hurt your wallet more. If you really want to bet on sports, you should be ready to study, plan, and understand the odds. Giving less than that is just putting money into someone else's wins.  Shocked Shocked
I think there are also pro gamblers who bet on the last minute. This can still be considered as a strategy to increase our chance of winning or decrease our chance to lose even at the expense of it is a cut in our profit. If a gambler is a newbie, I even think that they will place their bets early because they hear that it gives them a better win.

No matter what side they choose but if they still don't have a knowledge on the teams, players, or the sports that they are betting in, then their chances of winning is still going to be the same. Dice games are a kind of chance games. Being careful on it can't contribute a lot but it is if you do the same in sports betting or any other true skill-based casino games.
71  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How do you manage your money on gambling sites. on: September 21, 2023, 05:18:43 PM
They only show off their winning moments to their followers so they can get additional followers at the casino. And perhaps they also get paid by the casino to do this so that more people will join.

A better way to manage funds on gambling sites is to deposit the amount you can afford and withdraw the winnings so that you are not tempted to continue gambling. And don't keep your winnings for too long in the casino because that could make you want to use the winnings to gamble.
I think there are truly people or gambler who have a control of their selves that even they leave their balances on their gambling accounts, they won't still touch it until it is the right time for them to play gambling again. Sadly I'm not one of it and even though I withdraw my balance in the casino, I can still be able to deposit them back.

Even though if we are like the ones that I said earlier who can control their selves, there is still a risk on leaving money in a centralized platform and that is they can confiscate your money anytime they like even though it seems you don't do something inappropriate. Lastly they can get hacked and we can lose all of our funds.
72  Economy / Economics / Re: Sabine Hossenfelder - Web3: World-changing tech or just a scam? on: September 21, 2023, 03:02:30 PM
It's exciting to see more and more conversations about crypto in the mainstream. We're at a crucial point in its evolution, and while there are hurdles like scams and volatility, these are common in any burgeoning industry. Remember, even the internet faced skepticism in its early days. As awareness grows, so will responsible practices and regulations. It might seem slow now, but each discussion, each project, is a step towards a future of widespread crypto adoption. Baby steps lead to giant leaps.
What do you expect? You are on a crypto forum, but even if not, cryptos are still not mature enough so expect that there are still more innovations like this that can come out. Volatility is not a hurdle but you can use it to gain an advantage. I wouldn't say that scams are a hurdle either because they are normal everywhere.

There might be other real hurdles out there but they shouldn't stop us from doing what we love. It's okay to move slow but at least we can see that we are improving. It's also okay to move slow but the quality of the projects that are being produced are high in quality. We don't need a junk one who is only rushing for the sake of earning quick profits.
73  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What's the best Altcoin for this moment to accumulate right now? on: September 20, 2023, 08:21:19 PM
In my opinion, apart from ethereum and binance, a good altcoin to accumulate is polygon(matic) because polygon is a new altcoin that has high potential and popularity in the crypto market, where every new bounty or airdrop uses the polygon(matic) network because this network has high exchange fees. very low and affordable, I am sure that in the near future polygon(matic) will become the toughest competitor to binance and ethereum.
It is popular because it is being used as an alternative to other bigger cryptos. The coin isn't that new so I don't know if it still has a potential or not. Like I said earlier, Matic is an alternative. It is not a competitor of the two and I don't think it can win on them if let say it is because those two are huge.

There are other alternatives that can be a competitor of Matic and as of now, Matic is much better than them but we don't know what will be the future awaits to it. Maybe there will be a time when Matic can get congested due to the traffic that it is getting and its devs fail to improve it. There is a chance for it to be over taken by its competitors.
74  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Mistake that prevented your big win. on: September 20, 2023, 07:29:56 PM
What you've mentioned happens. People never understand well about gambling. At the starting days the gamblers used to be lucky. I don't know how good this is happening around with the users. I've personally experienced it. If I've come out of it with the early stage win, then it could've been good for me. I didn't do it, but I kept gambling and end up losing everything. This is the reality with most of the users, when they realise everything could've got over and they're away from their lucky part. We need to understand well about gambling, if not what we could experience is massive losses.
Indeed, gambling will make us blind if we cannot balance it with strong self-control. Because your emotional feelings or greed that make you want to gamble again and even think about the possibility of winning and getting a lot of money is a trait that other gamblers have and I can't blame you for that.
Maybe when you are busy gambling, of course you don't realize that you will feel the impact, namely losing the money we bet even though we don't see how big or small the money is. And when you experience defeat, of course you will realize that what you did was excessive in gambling and this is a normal thing, every gambler must have felt this, including me too.
When you have a balance in life and do other things, it can mean that you also have a control of your self. I notice that I get a little greedy and decided to gamble when I'm a bit bored or stressed out. So maybe if we can prevent these things from happening, we can also avoid risking and losing the money that we left in our wallets. When we gamble, we are aware of every possibilities but we just carry on because we are already there. Regrets still come later on once we get busted.

It's a normal thing, but the more it can become normal once we are repeating the same mistakes over and over again. This must be corrected if we want a better life.
75  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Constant wins in the casino for several days, then constant losses. Noticed?! on: September 20, 2023, 06:45:11 PM
Playing for many years, I observe a certain series of wins and losses. It looks like it every time! Also in casino chats, a lot of people talk about it.

Most of the time the casino takes the money. But when the winning session comes, on this day many slots give you a solid win, it is impossible to lose. This successful session can last several days.
As soon as this ends, absolutely all slots begin to take money.

How do you win and lose?
It is not clear what you mean by this topic, but you mean in the casino that there are only wins on certain days and no losses are shown. But I have never come across such a situation where there is win only on certain days but there is no loss.
I don't understand how win loss is fixed in casino dice or slots patterns but as long as I have played slots or dice I have never had a specific time frame for my win or loss.
The idea that your casino losses are constant over time is not correct at all. Maybe you are having trouble explaining this or we don't understand your point. However, only the casino authorities can tell how the win loss is structured in the casino.
Maybe he meant to say is "almost" impossible to lose on some lucky days. There is no way to have unlimited win even just for an hour because a casino will lose a lot of money this way. The only way it is possible is if you are doing some kind of a hacking or cheating. Dice games are more adjustable.

If we can play safely and implement some kind of a strategy, maybe we can enhance our play but slots are pure luck. You can win or lose anytime on it. If a casino is honest, the owners are not manipulating the results of the games but the system is still implemented to favor over them because this is a business and they are here to earn.
76  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Big capital, small risk or small capital big risk - which is best approach? on: September 20, 2023, 05:34:39 PM
Different people with different approach to gambling. Some prefer committing huge capital to high probability small odds while others prefer using small capital to target big wins. There are many reasons for each of these approaches.

While those that put huge capital win more often, their losses are usually painful. On the other hand, those that commit small capital to make huge wins rare win but when they do, they win big; their losses too are less painful. There are other advantages and disadvantages for both approaches but for the sake of this discussion, let's know which approach you think is better and why?
There are also those who prepare big capital to hunt those massive multipliers because they know that it takes time or money. It makes sense to play a bigger bet on a high-probability game because their returns are usually small. As a poor gambler, I'm mostly aiming for a  high multiplier so that if I get lucky I can withdraw something.

A lot of those who risk big amounts are strong that they can endure the pain if they are unlucky, and it's funny that those who lose small amounts are the ones who regret too much and feel disappointed about their selves. I know it's hard for them to earn money, but if that's the case then they better not play gambling.
77  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What happened to Crypto Volatility..??? on: September 19, 2023, 08:10:20 PM
Well, things are truly different this time.

Although there's still some glimpse of the past and trend and how the market moved but, things do change for the crypto market whether you're a trader, an investor or just a speculator.

And there is one thing for sure that we're going to see and that's another trend shall pass and people will be hyped again but what could that be?
As for me, I don't think there are many things that have changed. If it's about the volatility which seems low right now, I think this wasn't new but if I'm not mistaken, we already experienced the same scenario on the past. Maybe you guys only forget it, or some of you are not yet here in crypto. History does repeats itself and so as here in crypto.

This is why a lot of users are basing their analysis on it to possibly predict if what will be the value of cryptos later on. So many trends have already passed. Some are still there but they are not as hyped as before. Maybe some trends are obvious to occur but some are unexpected, and if what are those we shall only wait and see.
78  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Some of country can offer you legal gambling in 2023! on: September 19, 2023, 06:46:50 PM
What do you feel from this that gambling is less ethical?
It's not just ethical, but also moral who play gambling. therefore some countries banned it and do not allow their citizens to gamble. But, it also depends on what country you live in. Sometimes, some country doesn't legalize it but still collect taxes from casino and provider. because the government knows many residents play secretly and don't want to miss a moment to obtain budget income for the country. This is the problem now because there are several provinces do that without agreement from Central government.
I don't think gambling is less or not ethical. But maybe it is if you are playing on an illegal casino or you are playing on a country where gambling is illegal. Also if you are doing something abusive which are against the casino's rules. Aside from it, gambling can also be spiritually wrong if your religion is Islamic. I can't picture out if how can a country collect taxes if gambling is illegal on them?

Something tells me that the some officials on these countries are corrupt and secretly allow some casinos to operate. If we hear or see activities like this, we should report them anonymously. We should not join them as there are still other ways to entertain ourselves or to earn an extra profit.
79  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is the Difference Between Plying Gambling on Online Sites and Real Casinos? on: September 19, 2023, 04:52:25 PM
For me the main difference is the speed at which you can play, which is much faster online. This has its advantages, apart from the aforementioned convenience or not having to go home from the casino after the session, but it also has more risk because nowadays you can gamble 24 hours a day 365 days a year without anyone seeing you, and this has a significant potential for addiction.

It is not for nothing that online gambling addiction is growing rapidly, something the industry is trying to play down.
Gambling out side has lots of risks. You can crash your car or hit by a car. You can get robbed after going home with lots of money, and so on... I am an online gambler but I have no way of being addicted to it. It's hard to become one if you only have a limited amount of funds and you know that there are other important things that these small money should be spent on. Maybe there are other things that the industry or government is hiding from us but I never thought online gambling is one of them? For what reasons?

But, I guess it's because they can continuously benefiting from it through tax, bribes, etc.. and they don't want the public to get alarmed and request of stopping it.
80  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crypto betting on: September 19, 2023, 03:51:40 PM
I also agree with the point that House Edges variations can not add credibility to crypto casinos. Crypto casino must give importance to the other factors. Especially customer support and facilities that gamblers feel comfortable can increase people's attraction to that casino. Since there are so many gambling platforms, every issue has to be ensured so that a gambler can enjoy the full advantages. To earn trust, the casino must build a reputation for providing good service over a long period of time.
Yeah and the casino must never make any mistake because it will make the reputation that they have been built will easily get destroyed with one mistake. This is the reason why many casinos can't become trustworthy anymore after making a mistake, the casinos are high likely will bankrupt due to less traffic.

This why every casino must be never try to scam and not greedy to confiscate someone else money.
I think that's hard. There are no perfect system so mistakes can always occur. It can only be minimized and mistakes can be corrected. Customers can understand it and they are now happy if a platform can do this.

There are mistakes that are intentional and too heavy like a casino commit a scam. This is the one that can destroy their reputation easily but they don't care either. If they are already like this, they can always create another casino again and do the same thing. This is why it's important to make a research first before depositing so that we can avoid them. To confiscate money on the other hand can be legal because sometimes a gambler can violate a rule.
