61  Economy / Securities / Re: ASICMINER: Entering the Future of ASIC Mining by Inventing It on: September 24, 2013, 12:53:18 PM
Second question: None of my request for direct share transfers have been answered. Care to elaborate if there was a change in procedure?

Friedcat: Could you please specify where in the production cycle you are with the Gen2 hardware and what your current time projections are?
63  Economy / Securities / Re: ASICMINER: Entering the Future of ASIC Mining by Inventing It on: September 19, 2013, 06:38:29 PM
What you don't consider when trading off selling versus self-deployment is the overhead and time it takes to get a datacenter at this energy density up.

Also, our hashrate rather dropping then rising could mean the near-future deployment of gen2 hardware, although this is only scheduled for november and a sell-off now would not make sense.

ah, i misunderstood you. You meant that the new generation would not lead to speed increases until nov. I thought you meant there wouldn't be any. Sorry 'bout that.

Update

Project Timeline

August-September: Deploy/sell all hashpower arriving in July and early August.
September-November: Deploy/sell the hashpower ordered at early July.

looks like no more hashing increase until november with the new gen

Not that good at reading?

The market moves around so quickly, it is not even funny anymore. Just because of some small change in a mostly luck-based graph...

I just regret getting back in a tad above 3 last week with an old outstanding buy order. Would have bought with all free cash otherwise at 2.4-2.6... Well, I expect the prices to rise even more once normal (not kept-back) dividends are paid again Smiley

Even with the current holding back of money for new investments, 200THs or something in the pipeline to be deployed next month, the dividends are at 25% of worth per year.
This looks to be either speculation, with a few latecomers panicking and some others wanting to have a part, rather than a real value adjustment, at least today. Down to 3, or even 2.7, I don't really know, although I would think that with the practical experience Asicminer has because of their prior runs as well as running a huge, energy dense datacenter, that they are well positioned in the next round.

The rapid sell-off is really gnawing on my nerves, but I missed the time to jump and rebuy. I sold some at 3.9 and bought back around 3, but still...

Anyway, having been in since the IPO my investment in fiat has increased already by a factor of over 100 with the part I have taken out, so even at 0 I am actually really lucky.

Wow, network hash rate went down massively after the difficulty raise. GPU miners dropping out?
73  Economy / Securities / Re: ASICMINER: Entering the Future of ASIC Mining by Inventing It on: March 06, 2013, 05:21:36 PM
From what I received, the dividend for this week alone was .01916298 BTC/share. A bit less than last time, but for a far shorter timeframe I guess.
74  Economy / Securities / Re: GLBSE Payment Claims (Announce your payment here) on: November 07, 2012, 11:36:51 PM
Ok, I haven't been online in a while but I definitely got a double deposit (0.1 BTC, didn't keep reserves with the glbse), but I haven't gotten an e-mail stating that I did get a double deposit so this is the first I am hearing about. Without an e-mail saying I should give it back, I will wait for further instructions.

If it were a significant amount of money though, I would wait for the transmission of my shareholder info to the issures before I gave it back...
75  Economy / Securities / Re: [GLBSE] ASICMINER: Entering the Future of ASIC Mining by Inventing It on: October 12, 2012, 10:37:06 AM
Well regarding ease of trading vs. value: Who would buy my few shares for the 0.108-0.11 right now? I don't find a buyer, so they have basically no value to me atm. except for the possibility of earning dividends.

Also, the management overhead of friedcat organizing all trading can only impede the real goal of ASICMINER.
76  Economy / Securities / Re: [GLBSE] ASICMINER: Entering the Future of ASIC Mining by Inventing It on: October 11, 2012, 09:48:48 AM
I had an outstanding order for a few shares as well as my current ones. As I was away for a week, it seems quite likely that the order went through after reading about someone dumping his shares etc. Should I just send you both numbers?
Have you really heard nothing from Nefario? I was hoping that he would at least send out those mails semi-automatically.

At least the process seems to be in order now, as he is even specifically asking for the permission to hand over my data to the issuers. Like I would expect it.

Also: While I am absolutely aware of the premiere performance of BFL, I am also aware of the following delivery times. There, they were much closer. But as long as we can get our (see what I did here) farm running before december, we will still be so far in the green, that I hope that I can get some sidebusiness going by then.
78  Economy / Securities / Re: [GLBSE] ASICMINER: Entering the Future of ASIC Mining by Inventing It on: September 14, 2012, 01:38:36 AM
Jutarul: Wow, I am not sure if it was that statement, but that brought me already about an 8% increase in current worth of investment. Btw. is there anyone discussing the  fee by GLBSE for buying and selling in terms of traditional tobin tax?
79  Economy / Securities / Re: [GLBSE] ASICMINER: Entering the Future of ASIC Mining by Inventing It on: September 13, 2012, 02:08:24 PM
Even though only a very, very small investor, I would still love to hear at what stage you currently are and what the timeline for the next 2 months looks like. BFL still say that they will be shipping late october to early november, so if you manage to do go live at about the same time, that would be great news.
80  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: CPU Mining have any sense at all? on: September 10, 2012, 08:39:16 AM
I have to agree with the others, cpu mining does not make sense at this day and age.
