A few things you must keep in your mind before investing in Bitcoin or any other crypto currency:
1.Make sure you have read the whitepaper of bitcoin or the currency you are thinking to put money in.
2.Crypto currencies are not just for making money.
3.There are no guarantees of profit.
4.You can loose all your money so invest only what you can afford to loose.
5. Don't panic when market fluctuates because its not only you who is controlling the market.
6.Do not buy and sell in FOMO(Fear of missing out) & FUD(Fear, Uncertainty and doubt).
7.Take opinions but Do your own research before taking any decision.
8.Do not forget to check the bitcoin forum to know more about that project.
9.Last and the most important: Patience is the key.
The last point is the most important IMO - patience. I agree with other suggestions. There exists a lot of misinformation for newbies but this year is showing to us that some good signs are just ahead. Adoption is growing fast and development in crypto space is going exponentially. Bull market will come back. Now you can just sit and relax, don't need to hurry. |

My opinion and tactics at the moment are to wait and see what happens. If it goes lower, I have my buy orders to buy some coins but if it reverses I will follow.

if it continues to decline it is a bad sign for a coin especially since ethereum has developed very well like now, many accept ethereum for an ICO. being resistant now can still return like last year. For the people complaining you need to realize that it's not just stratis that is experiencing these huge dips in price, it's literally happening to the entire alt market.
The unfortunate truth is that 2017 was mainly fueled by speculation not adoption.
I still find the dot com 2000 bubble a tough comparison to 2017 blockchain bubble, dot com was mainly institutions and not global like blockchain, because of this I don't think it's unrealistic to think we could see another speculative frenzy with some more mainstream adoption in the coming years that could make 2017 look micro (just like 2017 made 2013 look small).
The stratis chart is pretty similar to other top alts in terms of a boom bust like cycle, at these levels im probably going to buy some more, low risk, high upside potential.
Just calm down people, I can't say that I'm crypto veteran but I have experience in both - bear and bull market. It is easier to manage things and don't panic. Just let market bleed and invest your time in yourself. Do sports, yoga, reading, talk with people, find interesting activity to earn some extra $. Things will settle down and reversal will occur. |

I made a small buy of LYM tokens. I really don't think that altcoins are going out of business as some "experts" assume. Altcoins, especially, established utility tokens, are going to surge during 2019 or 2020.

The main problem with millennial generation is that they don't have patience and crying about project from the very start why it is not on scale of facebook. It will not happen anytime soon and I assume that 90% or more will fail to deliver. However, question is who will deliver?

Altcoin trading is almost dead these days, except leading ones. I expect it to change in 2019-20, so it is wise told BTC or switch to USDT (if you feel bearish on BTC).

The commission for the transaction of the BOS coin is 0.001 BOS. This commission is constant and does not depend on the number of coins that you send. To date, 1 BOS = about 0.14 $. Thus, making the transfer of any number of BOS coins you pay only 0.14 $ x 0.001BOS = 0.00014 $. Foresee, anyone, an example of any coin, where commission for a transaction is almost nothing like this coin commission of the BOS. Running your own nodes is beneficial then necessary for those people who want to earn on securing transactions. How can such a low transaction cost provide earnings with the help of the nodes ?! Thus, to be profitable to have your own nodes, the price of the BOS coin should be much increased!
It seems that cost will increase in the future but it all depend on bitcoin price. However, I'm inclined to support blockchains of really cheap transactions. They are scalable and attractive to use for mainstream adoption. If you have slow blockchain and expansive transactions you can't expect any adoption. |

If your country banned bitcoin you can leave that country and move to BTC and crypto friendly one. I don't have trust in countries banning crypto. You must consider relocation.

Well, market runs in cycles and crypto is not a different case. I think we need this correction to settle down and some boring trading for half a year or so. I still think that leg down is upcoming in June-July. Probably after that drop market will enter that boring period of consolidation and accumulation. We will see.

Very interesting project I'm following back from 2017. I think big changes are coming once bear market stabilizes and we can expect some uptrend in Bitcoin. CAG tokens will surpass $1 per token. Just my opinion and not investment or trading advice.

What are you smoking "Ethereum is officially dead"? It just has started the most important updates of scalability and more to come in the future. Most of developers and dapps are running on Ethereum. Microsoft Azure offers Ethereum for blockchain developers. It is far from being dead.

It is a total gambling about Ripple and its native token XRP. It was sold with premium to investors and company made a lot of $$$. Now they enjoy life and investors have problems.

Long term I will invest only in Ethereum because it is the biggest and the most busy blockchain platform. I think NEO has a lot of room to go but I prefer Stratis or Lisk instead. NEO is very dependent on China and this factor can play a big role in the future. It seems that China is slowly changing their attitude towards cryptocurrencies. NEO could get huge in this situation (next few years).
