601  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Today's news: Chinese gov restricts Crypto again... on: February 07, 2018, 05:27:34 PM
Cryptocurrency-related advertisements have stopped appearing on Chinese search engine Baidu and social media platform Weibo, amidst reports of China’s government tightening cryptocurrency and Initial Coin Offering regulations on Sunday, Feb. 4.

The Financial Times of the People’s Bank of China (PBOC) was told today, Feb. 4, that China will further increase regulatory pressure on cryptocurrency exchange sites and Initial Coin Offerings (ICOs), Chinese news site Sina reported.

Seems cryptocurrency will not recover so much in a short time...

Oh my God, I have also found this news that shocked me. Here is the link to read about it:

602  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: So many clones of BTC. In or not? on: February 07, 2018, 05:12:08 PM
I do not really like so many forks of btc. I think most of them are actually a normal altcoin, just with a name under btc. I won't invest on them.
Each time when the fork is created, they say the new son or daughter of Bitcoin will be faster and safer. However, in most cases the fork just creates the greatest fuss on the market of cryptocurrency.
603  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you want to do?? on: February 07, 2018, 05:08:22 PM
The great thing about cryptocurrency is that however governments try, they cannot control it.

True. How can virtual currency and online transactions be controlled? It is possible if some authorities and government will start controlling you personally, in case you interest them very much. People will go on trading and exchanging crypto.
604  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: All coins are now dying, what do you think? on: February 07, 2018, 05:00:07 PM
If the market of coins is in red, this does not mean that you have lost your money invested in the crypto currency. However, you will really lose them if you commit a stupid act and will sell them at this time. If the market is in red, it means that the coins temporarily partially lost their value. After a while they will restore it vseravno, just do not need to panic, and patiently expect this time.
Wise statement! Why should we panic and think that altcoins and Bitcoin are dying only because the market is down. It happens, and we had to be ready for these events. Just do not rush to get rid of all your crypto.
605  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which altcoins are going to change our lives? on: February 07, 2018, 04:57:17 PM
I think ethereum is the coin of tomorrow. Smart contracts technology,  fast transactions,  open source -  these are major and obvious advantages of the coin.  Shocked

I also share this position. Ethereum is the coin that can really affect our lives. The other altcoin (and platform as well) that I support and believe in is NEO. Probably the changes will not start this year, but we will see them.
606  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Alt coins are in red again ?? on: February 02, 2018, 05:58:05 AM
Anybody would please make comment why alts are decreasing sharply ? It is correction or there is another speculation ?

It seems to the crypto market is shaking. Red zone and green zone change each other constantly. In the morning you see that your favorite alt is gaining, but it can become a loser close to the evening. Wait, friends, just wait for stabilization.
607  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How profitable is cryptocurrency mining in 2018 on: February 02, 2018, 05:37:55 AM
With the down trend in all cryptocurrency, how profitable is mining?

I do not think it is profitable now. Hardware for mining is too expensive as well as the electricity. However, it depends where you live. I’d stay away from mining as too must should be invested into this business before you start getting some profit.
608  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How many DPOS coin do you know? on: February 02, 2018, 05:34:02 AM
You can also take a look at DCR (just starting), and Xem. Does not mean to say I suggest investing in them  Smiley and it's quite painful to go looking  for info on possible return, you really have to comb the web and do your maths as a far as I have seen and there are all sorts of strings attached (the 1 Ark voting fee is one of them meaning you need to invest a good amount for it to make any sense).
Seems like Ark should give you around 7,5% a year, DCR pools seem to have pretty hefty fees so far, but changing fast.
If anybody has reliable datas or sources on that, I'd be glad to have them too.

ARK is the coolest delegated proof of stake altcoin, and I am sure it will grow very fast. It might even take its place in the top-10 of the best cryptocurrencies. Here is the video about ARK: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9ADgrAOxXNU
609  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [IDEA] - KosherCoin on: February 02, 2018, 05:29:52 AM
Just don't use your bitcoins on Saturdays...

LOL. But curious, what will we all say if this project works? Jews are very smart and intelligent people, and they can make money from the air. I might also buy some of these coins. The idea is not bad at all.
610  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Have you raised money on ICO? on: February 02, 2018, 05:28:19 AM
Do you an experience of investing in ICO? Was it a good experience? Have you raised anything?

I never invest a lot of money into ICOs. Yes I tried once to deal with the projects that seemed to me good ones. I did not lose anything, but the income was less than the profit I was waiting for.
611  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which coins good to buy hold for 2018? on: February 02, 2018, 05:20:53 AM
Any suggestions for coins that good to buy and hold for this year.

If I make rating of the altcoins and crypto, NEO and Ethereum will share there the first place. I will also buy Cardano and Qtum, Stratis and DASH. However, you can watch this video and listen to the blogger who recommends which coins will be the best ones in 2018:

612  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: HODL or REGRET!!! on: February 02, 2018, 04:57:46 AM
Its better to HODL a token until the value of it is increasing than to regret that when you sell it in a low price or value, all we need to do is to wait be patient all the time.

This is the best advice, and I hope the author of this thread has read it already. Verge is going to get up again and the process has already started. Do not regret, hodl (keep it for long and do not sell), and finally you’ll be in plus.
613  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Polymath overtake Ethereum? on: February 02, 2018, 04:55:51 AM
What do you say of the new ST20-token based call Polymath? Will it succeed? Will it follow Ether's steps or is it better? State you ideas and make a discussion. https://www.polymath.network/wizard

Even if Polymath manage to offer something more to ICO owners than ETH, it will take more than 1-2 years to move even close to ETH market cap and adoption.

So, no - not in 2018 or 2019.

Not even in 2018-2019 as you said. I suppose it will never happen. Ethereum is the coolest platform, and millions want to have ETH coins in their wallets and deal with this crypto. Polymath is still unknown.
614  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Get Rid Of Bitcoins ? on: February 02, 2018, 04:49:10 AM
Should I get rid of Bitcoins and buy ETH

Just compare the charts of Bitcoin and Ethereum (https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/bitcoin/ and https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/ethereum/ ) and come to your own conclusions if you can do it. ETH might be more profitable, but I’ll be still dealing with Bitcoin.
615  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 2018 will be the year of Altcoins exploding. on: January 31, 2018, 03:59:45 PM
2017 changed my life thanks to crypto.

Many people in crypto make the mistake to go in projects that are already high. Maybe most people are just too lazy or dont have the time to analyze and look at coins below the top100 at Coinmarketcap Smiley

Colx combines Monero and Raiblocks and will x100 in 2018. But I think we will see many cheap altcoins explode in 2018, while Bitcoin stays relatively stable.

Agree or disagree?

I believe that it will be exactly this year, 2018, which will become a triumph for many altcoins and crypto like Ethereum, NEO, IOTA, Cardano, EOS, DASH. Dealing with these coins will start bringing much more profit that trading with BTC.
616  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Telegram ICO (TON) on: January 31, 2018, 03:58:45 PM
I think this will be a very successful ICO, I don't think we have seen an ICO with such a great working product before the launch of their ICO. I am expecting this one to break the record for the most raised.
Absolutely right, Telegram ICO will have a great success and I believe that investors will get the coolest income. However, too many people are ready to invest into this project. Hope that Telegram will do that it plans successfully.
617  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Facebook bans cryptocurrency ads.. on: January 31, 2018, 03:56:03 PM
Oh its hot news. So now there wont be any facebook campaign in upcoming ICO bounties?Anyway good move from facebook. They should have done this before.
Well I do not think Facebook has taken the good decision. Many uses of this site are traders, investors and simply those who are interested in the world of crypto. FB can lose some of its subscribers.
618  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Massive dip - what are you buying for the short term? on: January 31, 2018, 01:47:39 PM
CVC,RCN,RDN,NEO,Here's my list.
If it continues to fall, I will buy these tokens at the right price,Because these are potential tokens, you can understand the white paper and technical route of each token.
As I see it NEO is better crypto for long-term investments. I suppose that it will be going up all the time, and the longer you hold it, the better will; be your profit. GAS which is also a part of NEO project is a good alt. Short terms investments…better pay attention to smaller alts, ATN for instance.
619  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the most important member of a team in an ICO on: January 31, 2018, 01:39:31 PM
Would you say that the most important member of the team is...

- The CEO?
- The Blockchain expert?
- The ICO manager?
- The lead developer?
- The marketing experts?

Any example?

In fact, all team members are important to the success of the ICO. It is very important to pay attention to their professionalism to see if they can implement the project.
620  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What if we were all wrong on: January 31, 2018, 01:37:01 PM
Hello people,

First of all... yes i hold btc and altcoins Smiley i believe in blockchain and so on... anyway

But what if, when this "correction" is not a correction..
Rather the beginning of the end of the cryptomarket, as we know it...

I missed the chance to sell at the high, but never thought, that the market is falling so fast and so strong...
at the moment, we cannot say where the bottom is... almost no moves up..
just crazy... so much money goes away from the market..

Such a correction of the price happens every year and there is no need to panic. Now a lot of ICO is actively carried out and this means that users will actively invest and thereby support the growth of the crypto currency.
