602  Economy / Services / Re: Reopening Bounty Group on: October 26, 2023, 05:11:29 PM
I am opening the bounty group back up. If you are interested in joining, pm me for the link and i'll start letting people join. I will be launching a bounty later today, so that's why I am deciding to open the group again. Try to act professional and not post when moon or silly stuff please.
I have been trying to search for a group of yours bearing your name on Telegram, Mr. yahoo62278 for years. Unfortunately, no results appeared regarding the existence of a group or channel of yours. It is good that this group has been created now, as it will be helpful for participants to ask any questions related to the bounties you run and discussions and see updates about your campaigns and the weekly payments. You can pin the most frequently asked questions and answers to the pinned messages at the top of the group instead of these participants spamming your PMs with duplicate messages that you have already answered.

I will send you a DM shortly.
603  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Something dangerous we do when using Binance P2P platform on: October 25, 2023, 11:42:41 PM
I am starting to believe that this is possible, not even by a professional hacker but a small time thieves, you want to know why I said this? I have been using Binance exchange and also the service they provide through their P2P, and I always see buyers telling sellers to drop their mobile number or else they won't go ahead with the transaction.

Take a look at this screenshot, I took this on Binance P2P service and I am sure that users of Binance P2P must be familiar with this.
https://i.postimg.cc/mDpHT83R/Screenshot-2023-10-12-11-58-47-829-com-binance-dev-edit.jpg

I strongly believe this is how the victim lost is phone number to strangers, to make some transactions a success, and yet losing your data in the process, I hope this teach people something new today.
You have attached a screenshot of one of the P2P merchants who have achieved a 99.9% positive rating and have received more than 3,000 reviews. This indicates that this P2P merchant has a high reputation and integrity, and it is unlikely that he is a scammer who wants to collect phone numbers to send phishing messages, as you mentioned. If he did such behavior, Binance would freeze his assets and ban his account. I expect that he placed this condition in his advertisement to confirm with the buyer and verify his identity.

You can search for another advertisement for another P2P merchant who did not mention this condition or use any other phone number that is not your primary number. It is also possible for one of the untrusted and low-rated merchants to create a SIM swap scam for the customer’s phone number, but if the customer is active on his phone, he will notice and recognize this type of scam. But of course, I do not like anyone to disclose their personal information and privacy, whether with phone numbers or the like, and the matter gets worse if it's in a country where laws prohibit crypto, and I generally do not prefer centralized exchange platforms.

605  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stablecoin censorship on: October 25, 2023, 10:41:14 PM
Have you ever found yourself a victim of stablecoin censorship? There are records of stablecoin issuers freezing or limiting access to stablecoin funds they deem suspicious. To my knowledge, both Bitfinex (issuer of Tether/USDT) and Circle (issuer of USD Coin/USDC) have been doing this for quite a while. If these entities do the exact same thing banks do, why are stablecoins rising in popularity? Investors could lose it all in an instant without even knowing it (unless they check the blockchain, of course).

Thoughts?  Huh
Stablecoins, despite being centralized and subject to oversight by specific entities, often lack transparency, with many of them lacking audit reports, especially the USDT coin, which CZ, the founder of Binance, likened to being like a black box that remains opaque in its operations, and we do not know precisely the specific level of its Risks. Perhaps some stablecoins may even operate without regulatory oversight. They have the power also, as OP mentioned, to freeze any investor’s assets or restrict access to his stablecoins if they find any suspicion in his transactions, and even without clear explanations, this is also like what central banks are already doing, which contradicts the principles of blockchain technology and decentralization where makes you the primary controller of your assets without their authority over you. Despite the drawbacks of stablecoins that may lead to severe losses, investors and traders cannot do without them, as they offer a protective security against market volatility.
606  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Looking for a partner for a crypto project on: October 25, 2023, 09:22:21 PM
I am looking for a partner to support me in realizing a cryptocurrency project that I deeply believe has the potential to change the world. I consider myself to be extremely honest and dedicated to the cryptocurrency world for over three years. It is important to me that the partner trusts me, as I have quality and detailed information about the project that I am willing to provide personally. I am ready to provide full details, discuss strategy and partnership. I want to create a mutually beneficial partnership and a successful project that can have a significant impact on the world.
Let's assume that I am this partner. How will I trust you when your account was created three days ago with a Newbie membership, and you have only posted three posts so far? In addition to that you did not mention your role in the project or the budget you have, and you did not provide any proof of your experiences and skills that would qualify you to create a project that will change the world. I don't want to be disappointing to you, but your request for a partner means that he will invest his funds with you, and it could be thousands of dollars, and you will be in control of it if I am not mistaken.

So, What guarantees and assurances will you provide him to ensure that his funds are placed in the right hands, that you are a truly honest person, and that your project will ultimately succeed? I have seen many projects launched that failed to achieve their goals due to market conditions, budget constraints, and a lack of investor interest, leading to their currencies becoming shitcoins in investors' wallets in the end.
607  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Advice on: October 24, 2023, 11:36:20 PM
Hi everyone

I just need some advice. Huh

I run a small business and have customers who want to pay in TruefreedomCoins (TFC)

I'm searching everywhere but can find a way to get it to pay out.

Is there anyone who has experience who can assist.
Some of these customers requested payment in TruefreedomCoins, for which there are no results I found after searching for it; this indicates that they are scammers and want to exploit the services of your small business for free because they will pay in return a shit unknown token which is likely a scam one that that you will not be able to exchange it because it is not listed on any exchange platforms. Therefore, you should be careful and not accept any unknown or unlisted tokens, and it is better to receive payment through BTC or the TOP altcoins in the market and the stablecoins, as suggested by members here.

Also, you should not send your services to them first after completing it; even if they agree with you to receive top tokens, you must implement all the ways to guarantee your rights and make it difficult for others to deceive you.

610  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My first Bitcoin on: October 24, 2023, 09:05:49 PM
How about you guys, did you earn your first Bitcoin through services here on this forum? Are you mining or you bought it as well? Which crypto came to you first, is it Bitcoin or Altcoins? What are your Bitcoin source at the moment if you don't mind me asking?
My journey began through mining, trading, faucets, and freelancing. Bitcoin was the first currency I obtained through my involvement in these activities. Then, Ethereum was the second currency I got through one of the campaigns for one of the promising projects in the forum. I then collected various altcoins from multiple projects, some of which yielded good returns while others did not succeed.

Initially, I was not a long-term investor, which makes me regret it when I look back. Still, now I have an optimistic outlook on the future of Bitcoin. I am trying as much as possible to increase the quantities I have by depending on my experiences and skills and collecting a lot of other promising altcoins in my wallet for the long term, hoping that my journey in the crypto space will end with results that bring me joy and improve my family's situation. It's essential to remember that achievement isn't just about owning Bitcoin or where you got it but about the results you achieve after acquiring it.

Vinfast

612  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [Warning]: Scam/Phishing Avalaunch Website on: October 23, 2023, 10:23:43 PM
Most of these phishing sites have unpopular domain extensions because on popular domain registrars, you can buy bulk domains at a very cheap price, especially on their anniversary sale, there are domain registrars that have extensions that offer $2 or even lower

The creators are developers and coders and it's easy for them because it's an automated smart contract script, all the victim will do is connect their wallet and they can employ their scheme, it's very easy for them and these hackers' scheme thrives on victims' ignorance.
This means that for around $50, these scammers can create dozens of domains and place their script for the automated smart contract on an HTML template that mimics the basic interface of the original domain for any project or platform. They promote their poor tricks on social media in the hope of trapping a victim with limited experience. And they steal and deplete his wallet assets, which will compensate them for the few dollars it costs them to create their phishing sites.

So, the solution, as mentioned by Hugeblack, is to educate beginners through information and advice adequately. If the protective measures are firmly embedded in their minds, they will be able to avoid any phishing websites they encounter. This is because there are countless phishing sites that cannot be counted.
613  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Be careful were you put your hard earn money on: October 20, 2023, 12:15:35 AM
Honestly, I do not find @OP's post to be discouraging, but instead it gives me a reminder that I should be cautious in every investment I made.  That I should not get easily swayed by these get rich quick schemed offered by any company and don't trust people blindly.  I agree someone might find it discouraging but we should also look at the underlying meaning of these discouragement.

Crypto investment is really risky, in fact it is labeled risk with very high possibility of losses especially when we invest on newly created altcoins.  Only a few cryptocurrency specifically Bitcoin and other highly supported coins that has large community and stable demand that is worth noticing.  Even with these high community projects we should still study the project we are interested to invest with.
The person should invest prudently and carefully choose the projects where he will put his capital and conduct adequate research using his experience and skills. These are necessary things that must be taken into account. There are many good legit currencies that have strong teams with solid foundations. But the market is largely dominated by unreliable shitcoins and scam projects and projects run by irresponsible teams that do reckless things leading to their eventual failure. Therefore, every person must keep abreast of the project’s updates, goals, and related news and invest what he can afford to lose because, as you mentioned, investing in any cryptocurrencies generally involves risks because the crypto market is highly volatile. Still, with the practical management expertise of these risks, experience, skills, and necessary qualities, the investor can face any challenges and protect his capital. Even though Bitcoin is the most secure currency in the market it is unwise to invest in it with hard-earned money blindly and unthinkingly.
614  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: ChangeNow.fi = scam on: October 19, 2023, 10:20:52 PM
They have copied the legit site ChangeNow.io
Have reported to google ads + sarek.fi
All links within this phishing website are broken; only the cryptocurrency exchange feature is active. In addition, the phishing domain's age, as per Whois, is only 20 days, while the official domain of ChangeNow.io has been around for six years; by these superficial details and checking and paying attention to the words of the domain and what the domain ends after 'dot' can prevent a person from falling into a scam if this scam phishing domain is sent to him by strangers on Change.io communities or through advertisements that appear in search engines and social media.

Thank you, Op. Now, I will submit the first report and complaint to the domain registrar on my part.
on: October 19, 2023, 08:59:16 PM

617  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: User Support@web3devs Scammed 100 Pi coin on: October 18, 2023, 09:36:02 PM
As wrote, PI aren’t mine. My friend decided to sent so I helped him. Decision to sent was made by him.

Edit: Also hope this post could be a real warning about this kind of shit-coin.
It is sad to see unethical people illegally stealing people’s currencies and money. Unfortunately, they are widely spread on the forum and in PI buying and selling groups, and what has allowed them to continue their scams is that the PI coin has not yet been traded on any of the exchange platforms so far, so there is an obstacle for those who hold this shitcoin and wish to sell it after months and years of fake mining. However, a trustworthy escrow service provided by a reliable middleman will solve this issue without the seller entering into deals for Newbies members who have not yet built a reputation on the forum.

Thank you for this warning, and I hope this loss will also be a turning point for your friend to stop wasting his precious time mining and collecting this worthless currency and looking for investment in other good currencies.
618  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: [Guide and Advice] New Here? How to Earn and Learn. on: October 18, 2023, 08:25:55 PM
Indeed, it is correct that people who are earning money for some time through bounties and airdrops aren’t motivated to learn skills. But, if we talk about market condition of last 1-2 years, it is bad which has also affected the bounties and airdrops. So what we learned from here is that sometime earning through bounties and airdrops aren’t enough. We might not see good days until mid 2024, and maybe such days come again where market again crashes and making is impossible to make good money through bounties. It is important to come out of comfort zone sometime and learn some skill which are going to be permanent and will help them make some differences.
Thank you for this helpful topic, which will help many members here, especially beginners, who consider bounties and airdrops as their sole source of income. It is worth mentioning that Bounty works, such as social campaigns and airdrops tasks, do not require specific experience or skills at all. The only requirement is to have accounts with a sufficient number of followers and continue to share project posts and promotions in their accounts, forgetting that market conditions may constitute an obstacle for project owners and Bounty managers to cooperate in running marketing campaigns on the forum.

For this reason, bounties, airdrops, and task websites mentioned above, such as Galxe, Taskon, and others, should be a secondary source of income for them, not a primary one. Instead, they should intensify their efforts in learning through reliable sources and accredited courses and acquiring the necessary skills for the fields that customers demand and in which they have an interest and prefer. Through well-known Freelancer sites or any famous platform or forum, they can provide services resulting from the experiences and skills they acquired and put in their time and effort. It is sure that within years, they will have an exciting future with many opportunities to earn money they never dreamed of collecting.
619  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: One of ways to identify scams on: October 18, 2023, 06:46:07 PM
I got it from  a Facebook page advert, funny though as it's made  over 10k likes with 2k comments with larger positive comments. I believe many a lot  of people would have been scammed already
Social media sites ads and Mobile application ads, even AdSense ads in search engines, always contain phishing sites. Even if the Facebook page of this phishing site contains thousands of likes, comments, and reviews, this is not conclusive evidence that they are legitimate because there are many ways to increase all of this to any social account or page with small money. Therefore, to avoid this scam, you should not open any links in the advertisements that appear in front of you. Instead, you can visit the project’s official website and social media accounts. There are great browser add-ons to detect scams, such as Blockfence, the MetaMask wallet, and Joinfire. In addition, through the who.is site, you can find out the age of the domain, and I advise avoiding new and newly created domains. Also, suppose someone opens a site that asks him to connect the wallet exaggeratedly or place a recovery phrase for the wallet. In that case, he can ignore this and conduct research in the first place before making a quick decision.
