Price of hzxchange is growing  asset id 17828408937649813496 its now at 65 in buying order and selling order 99.

It seem there are more buyers than sellers dont see why people will sell now.

"This asset represents 100% of the fees generated by the different HZx assets. Payouts are processed weekly. Visit the official Horizon forum or join HZxchange on facebook for more information"

Did somebody get any payouts from this asset? I didn't.
606  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] NODE Revolution: "Money is a means of payment, not speculation" (с) on: March 24, 2015, 08:31:55 AM
The fact is that even if node is good and interesting there will be still a long time until things work.. dev said about 9-12 months if i remember right. If u have spare money u can wait without problem.. but mostly of the guys in here don't like to wait more than a few weeks or couple months.. Besides waiting all that time with the current dolar situation and euro going to reach parity with dolar and lot of other things make waiting a year something risky.. Also because in that time another node competitor can appear.. I still have NODE's left and let's see what future will give us.. But all this is a highly unstable scenario and while 10 years ago dolar was the undeniable world currency now his ground is  not so solid and everyone knows that.. That's why EEUU allies joined BAII even if EEUU told them not to and see BAII like a direct threat to dolar hegemony. I would be scared of having dolars.. im much more safe in bitcoin, gold or yuans.. And all this scare people to invest and scare them even more of having to wait 1 year to check how something is gonna work. Dolar is gonna fall for sure.. this year? maybe not.. next years.. unpredictable.. with that scenario dudes.. well.. world is gonna have a hard time.

I agree with You , quite a precarious situation with the dollar and the Euro. We also think the situation with Yuán, Swiss franc and gold. We even consider this possibility to connect an account of gold (XAU) to the client Node. There are banks that offer such accounts. Most likely the Node will be implemented several currency pairs (those currencies which are backed by the Bank with whom we contract).

Can you name the bank you are in contract or country, where bank is operating?

The Matrix has you...

Lol, I'm so late to the party on nxt Wink java for life!

Welcome  Grin

Thanks Cheesy

Btw, I mentioned a hardware based NXT wallet a short time ago here. We are done with our beta devices, testing as I type and will have purchasing options up soon. But in the mean time, I wanted to ask if anyone knows how to get in touch with the dev team? I was hoping to see if we could possibly get some stickers to include with each NXT version of the device (beta devices will be for NXT, HZ and BURST)

Register and post in nxtforum.org I think devs will reach you Smiley

why NHzadult still on Nhz assets exchange?
this is scam assets

They are user issued, so we don't have any way of deleting assets from our end. We are developing the 'trusted assets' section for the purpose of keeping users away from those type of assets.

If I issue an asset and made a mistake doing so, is there any way to delist it?

Currently, afaik there is no way of delisting. It is displayed on blockchain forever.

Or you can send them to genesis account and they'll be gone forever.

Morning all. Can you please check the payouts for today? It seems that not all nodes have been payed and it's missing a lot of HZs.  Undecided

I had the same issue with my nodes as well.

I confirm this, no payout for today.

Most probably , there are some issues at node payout script. In past, we waited up to 4-5 days but then it all paid.

I understand you -and also me- are paying at least monthly fees to VPSes. But in a few hours, Pizpie can explain the problem and how and when to solve it.

This is no rush, just informing devs that something goes wrong regarding payouts. That's it.

What makes NEM different or special over NXT?
I see NXT has proven to be continuous development progress throughout last year. They are far far better than other CryptoCurrency Developments. Much advanced.

It doesn't mean I'm saying NEM is nothing or offending NEM. I want know how big and faster NEM is in compare to NXT.

If I honestly say right now I have more confidence in NXT than any other CryptoCurrency. I'm new to NEM. Getting to know it bit by bit. Trying to understand where exactly NEM fits and shines.

Hi and welcome :-)

I would like to speak to a few points that others haven't.

There are many unique features that are new to NEM, such as:

- first use of Proof-of-Importance (PoI) as a consensus algorithm.  PoS is only what you have.  PoW is just what you do and how much electricity you burn.  But PoI is based on what you have and what you do, except it is not about pointless wastefulness, it is about people that actually use NEM.  In PoS people hoard.  That isn't actually good for a currency.  Currencies need to be live and spent.   In NEM if you are spending and people are spending to you, and all these are the right people (no gaming the system) then you actually help your PoI and thus help yourself.  So in NEM, you win not by hoarding the XEM, but by letting the XEM flow.  This is important with a currency.  In a way, the way you spend and the way people spends with you build your reputation.  PoI can be considered the first ever blockchain based reputation system.

- first use of eigentrust++ in a cryptocurrency for securing the P2P network  (This allows each node to know if the node next to it is being honest and if not, then not listen to it)

- NEM has an amazing system where the NEM devs have successfully divided the network from the wallets.  This allows remote harvesting that others have mentioned, but it does other things too.

Let me explain it to you like this.  Have you ever tried to use NXT?  It requires downloading the whole blockchain and that can take a day!  Sometimes it updates and it takes longer or crashes or corrupts.  NEM completely solves that problem.  Say you are at work and you need to make a transaction right now (maybe the price is moving or you need to buy something), with NXT that is impossible.  With NEM a computer that has the latest version of Java installed can then download them NEM file, install NEM, make a new wallet, import your private key, and send the money out all in under two minutes.  Yes, I have tested that and have done it, and this is all on a computer that hasn't ever seen a crypto before.

And then, after all that is done, you can be a nice guy and let your whole blockchain sync and then support the network and let somebody else that was in your position be able to install NEM and be making transactions in under 2 minutes.  With NEM you have an opportunity to pay it forward.  And all this is completely safe.  The devs have made sure of that.

- first use of transaction spam protection in a blockchain crypto  (Ripple has transaction spam protection, but NEM has a new technique.  In Ripple spam protection raises the fee price for all people sending on the network.  After the spam stops, the fees for all people go back down.  In NEM the spammers transactions get put in a que and if there really is that much spam, they would eventually time out.  The spammers in NEM can push their transactions through, but they will have to pay more and more fees.  There is also a high fee for people sending low XEM transactions.)

- first crypto with multisig on launch  (NEM’s multisig is way better than Bitcoins.  Think of Bitcoin’s multisig as 1.0 and NEM’s as 2.0 multisig.  At least the way I understand it to be that is because in Bitcoin’s multisig have to coordinate and sign outside of the blockchain, but NEM allows users to sign on their own leisure in their own time because NEM allows people to sign from within the blockchain.  This is the first time that a crypto has had blockchain based signing and it makes multisig a lot more user friendly and less technical.

- first crypto with an egalitarian distribution to over 1500 individuals

- test-driven development with over 3000 unit tests in the core alone  (As far as we know the is a first in the world of crypto.  This is a very difficult way to write software and will help NEM to be very flexible in the future with a very solid foundational NIS.  It really can't be said just how important this is.  This kind of development is really difficult to do and is basically the type of development that you might find at a multi-million dollar software company, not a volunteer created crypto.)

- 60s block time with low variability due to a 60 block weighted, moving average (BloodyRookie worked on this for a long time.  It is important to have fairly regular and dependable blocktimes in a strong network)

- progressive transaction fees  (most cryptos have a static fee so this is very rarely implemented in a crypto, and again people trying to spam dust will pay much higher fees then a person trying to send one dollar.)

More…… NEM is the first ever platform to my knowledge that has P2P time stamping.  This was developed just for NEM and is a technology that has long been needed in the P2P world, not just crypto currency.

In summary….. NEM devs are many, they are talented, and they don’t mess around.

Bolded part.

In NXT, you can use online wallet at www.mynxt.info. If you want to trade assets, you can use secureae.com and open your account only entering your passphrase here (which is safe). I run my public node with port opened for API, etc, when I need urgent, I use my public node and everything I need is to enter my account passphrase, no java install, no client install, no wallet creation, no having private key with myself. So I don't see any advantage of NEM at this point.

Is this Official SuperNET asset?

Absolutely not, sure that is scam.

How do we know it is a scam  or a partner of SuperNET trying to help Hz to get more recognition

Now I do not know what to do.  Do I but in or not mmmmm very confused ....

Maybe I should email SuperNET and see if they know anything . than post the reply here........

Before investing in any asset you want to check on who is issuing the asset and make sure they are reliable. Igotspots is doing an asset, hero Bitcointalk member, so I can be confident that is likely safe. There is also an asset by someone on the HZ dev team for the new decentralized cryptocurrency exchange being built into Horizon, so again, known people with good reps, quite reliable. If however some anon newbie just makes up an asset, they could be anyone, and people can claim to sell Ethereum and all sorts of things, not only on Horizon, but on the other decentralized exchanges as well. Generally, unless I know for certain who or what company is issuing it, and the numbers all match up, exactly, I just assume it isn't safe.

You are right ... that's why I emailed SuperNET  to see if they are the issuing the asset.
  now waiting for there reply

99,9% that Supernet asset on HZ asset exchange is scam. I'm lurking in NXT and Supernet forums everyday, didn't see any info, that Supernet asset started traded in HZ asset exchange. It is tradable in NXT AE and Bter.

Not sure why but the blockchain file downloaded from PeerExplorer doesn't work anymore. I replaced the nxt.h2.db file in nxt_db (full path was actually C:\Users\Bizmark13\AppData\Local\Nxt Wallet\nxt\nxt_db) with the version in the downloaded zip file and instead of opening like usual, the NXT wallet shows a "NRS server has exited" and "Database shutdown completed" error and then shuts down. Tried it both with and without the included nxt.lock file as well as replacing the whole nxt_db folder with the downloaded version but nope.

Oh well. It looks like I'll have to download the blockchain via the client then. Hopefully it shouldn't take too long.

What version of client are you running?
620  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: NEM Official Thread - Redemption ends[Updates&Discussion] on: February 25, 2015, 06:41:59 AM
glad to see the guides are helping Smiley

Ya it's same as bitcoin using wallet file.

Ya it's nis using all the ram. If you want I can give you an IP address to connect to a remote nis. You won't have to run nis locally or ever have to download the blockchain. Always fully synced

Are you running NIS as well? We give the server (NIS) at least 512 MB of ram.

Yeah, the laptop I was using was a bit underpowered since it only had 1 GB RAM. Since it was 32-bit, I had to use the standalone client which kept saying that NIS wasn't running despite following the instructions. Fortunately, I also had a 64 bit laptop running Windows 8 and 2 GB of memory at hand so I was able to boot that up and download the installer and the rest was pretty easy.

Only one more step left and that's to send my NEMstake. But before I do that, my NXT client needs to be synced. Hopefully this part shouldn't take too long.

To speed up blockchain download, go to www.peerexplorer.com and download zip of the latest database snapshot (bottom right part of page). Then unzip database to NRS/nxt_db and start NRS client.
