Go and learn more and prove that Vod has abused exchanged merit. In bpip, you can have all the merit history of every user from the beginning.

The fact is account buyer/seller is not someone whom people can trust and thus who encourages account buying/selling is not also be trusted.
There are several reasons for which I personally will not trust any accounts buyer or seller.
1. Accounts maybe hacked.
2. You can easily scam someone using the identity of previous user.
3. You may claim later that your sold account is hacked and try to get back that accout.

And where such kind of issue may happen, how we can trust such person? That's why who help accounts buyer/seller is also not to be trusted, IMO.

Now I am quite confused. Something fishy is there, IMO.

Those two are ridiculous. In his merit giveaway, he has merited users Full Member and above. I have seen some lower ranked users had also submitted posts. If QA was in hurry to award merit, s/he could find some users from that list too.

If someone participates in a bounty from more than 1 account, it's counted as abusing. But what if someone uses 2 accounts and participate in 2 different bounty? Will it be counted as abusing?

Having merit is kinda easy if someone has no intention to have it, IMO. The only problem why newbies don't get enough merit is because they give too much importance in merit. That's it. There are lots of example of users having merits while they have no intention to have it, they are here for having knowledge only.

I am confused. Some say you should face a warning while some say they never faced any warning while refreshing.

For your info, you can check total merit history of a user, not only for 120 days.

Well, I want to share a story with you.
I had joined a forum named icoforums.net which was paying 1 ETH for 100 posts. It was really lucrative. Of course, I had joined with the intention to earn. But, I tried to contribute to the forum. I had posted some decent posts. Apart from that, I started to report the abusers and copy/paste so that the forum gets cleaned. I was able to remove the spams through reporting but in return what I got from users who were spamming?
There was an option called upvote/downvote. To be honest, I was one of the best users of that forum but you know what, my reputation was -17, because there were some users who had fake accounts and they were only downvoted all of my posts.
That's what will be happened here too. Trust, merits are not moderated. If there is something like -1, you can easily destroy one's reputation. And that's why there is DT member for trust feedback. Otherwise, I may create 100 of accounts and paint anyone I wish which would be visible to everyone.

It's sad to see some ANN threads on the list. Most people are abusing merits on ANN threads. Anyway, Wall Observer proved that high-quality posts can get enough merit.

I think you are getting quite emotional here. I have respect for the man and I believe everyone does so. That doesn't mean this thread need to achieve the most merits. Yes, this thread must have a place on the history of cryptocurrency forever but it has less to do with the merit if you consider merit as theymos defined.

On this topic, OP, Steepdev received a total of 60 merits where 50 merits from mellon and 10 from darkzorger
If we go through each ANN thread which got most merit, the scenario will be this kind and most of those are really abusing the system.

Rank facts only for those who are here for what you have mentioned "campaigns". For the users who are here for learning something, rank is nothing but a name, IMO. Anyway, having a Legendary rank is, of course, honorary. I wish if I would be a Legendary here.
FYI, you have no idea what the thread is about, in fact. Legendary ranking lies between 775-1030 activities. Someone may get it at 775 activities and some may need 1030 activities. So, Hero member with 1024 activities is really kind of unlucky.

I have seen possibly T.P has painted one user based on changes his activities. This account is also that kinda and deserve to be painted. Otherwise, he may scam someone easily with the disguise of previous owner.

Since it is allowed, I mean buying/selling, we have nothing to do at all. The only step can be taken by DT. We may get attention by DT, specially The Pharmacist who will paint this account. That's what we can do.
