604  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you pay with Bitcoin whenever you're able to? on: June 30, 2021, 11:57:22 PM
So, do you set a good example and pay with Bitcoin whenever you're able to or do you prefer not to spend your coins? I'll speak my personal view about this, in my country none of the merchants accept it and I rarely buy some hosting services from the internet. If they do accept it, I'll pay for it, but not because it satisfies me; it's just that I can't with PayPal. I'd prefer paying with PayPal for online services, because I may be scammed if they aren't popular.
Not on a daily basis but maybe every month,  i paid my web hosting bill use bitcoin, and also rent some digital services such as vps, most of those service I use bitcoin as payments, I have never used it as a daily needs such as food etc. because no merchants here want to accept crypto as payment and they might be dont even know what bitcoin is.

Dont know on how you do make out comparison about ponzis and gambling business on here.Only a fool who cant determine on whats a ponzi nowadays and honestly i dont see any connection with this because its too obvious since from the start and real business is something that could sustain itself on the long run and you can determine for yourself on whats ponzi and whats not.It is just a matter on how they would get their
players and make success on this industry considering that there are lots of competition out there which would really be a big challenge for new casinos or merchants out there.
Reputation should be built up and its a long due process.

Yes my bad. ponzi are wrong analogy, i just remember the case of a casino offering high odds for world cup matches and they were offering many bonuses and in the middle of the match the odds changed. its like they promoting to get many people for betting there because they had high odds than any other casino had, and when the match begin they changed it. or maybe they have no intention of cheating, but there is an error from their system. no one knows, if they want to continue to be a trusted casino they must be responsible.

606  Economy / Economics / Re: When everybody tell you take take risk with money on: June 30, 2021, 08:00:06 PM
So are you implying that we should not have business or dive to an opportunity where we can increase our income? Businesses always take risk so people should also learn to take risk BUT they should learn what or where their money is going or how they really earn from it. Never take risk if you don't know what you're investing into, some people's mistake is this. They just invest in something just for the reason of someone told them that they would earn money from that.

I totally agree with this . almost everything that aims to make a profit whether it's business, investing or trading there is always a risk behind it all. Now it's just a matter of how much risk we want to take, because everything will be worth the high risk and high return, and sometimes things don't always go according to plan. people must know the limits of the risk they can accept. if people don't want to do that simply don't do business or trading or risk money at all. but people know thats how many rich people do they are risking their money to get more.
607  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Never sell your Bitcoin? on: June 30, 2021, 07:47:22 PM
I just want to see what the general consensus is about selling Bitcoin. The well-known Bitcoin advocate, Mr. Michael Saylor, has said that you should never sell your Bitcoin, you should hold it for a lifetime. He believes that when you sell bitcoin, you will be taxed, but if you hold it, you can borrow bitcoin at a good interest rate (tax-free). Platforms such as Block Fi provide such services.

What do you think of this problem? If I double my investment during the next bull market, then for liquidity purposes, I will most likely not sell a bit. I really like Bitcoin and its direction of development, so regardless of short-term price fluctuations, I plan to invest in the long-term.

All based on trust and confidence in bitcoin. many believe the price of bitcoin will be much higher than it is now and it is very possible. but everyone has their own way. some like short trading and some like to do long term investing, if I myself can be both. the important thing is to remain consistent and not out of crypto market even in a loss condition,
608  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What Do You Guys Think About So-Called "Shit-coin" ? on: June 30, 2021, 07:40:48 PM
they have upgraded . they are not called shitcoins anymore but they are now called as meme coins . having large supply is the asset of a meme coin because they are for fun anyway  .
those that  says that meme coins or shitcoins benefit the market are lying . how can it benefit ? it only makes the people greedy and think that crypto is easy money . if they dont met their expectation and they will get scam , it destroys the reputation of all crypto

Yes, type coins like that are only for their community, but people tought they had hope that that coin will have a similar experience to "doge coin" but I believe it will be very difficult to happen because things like doge don't always happen in the market. especially with coin that have the same concept. without any other benefits for other people.
609  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: YOUR FAVORITE GAMBLING? on: June 30, 2021, 07:19:09 PM
If you believe that only dice is a game of luck, for me personally all gambling games will still involve luck, because a tactic or strategy is only to help you get the expected luck. But even so, that doesn't mean we can arbitrarily bet because we think it's only about luck,
When it comes to poker, it's not just luck. but also a mental game, people are not afraid to bluff all in even he knew he had worst hand , luck, mental , logic. Lately I've been watching video poker a lot and Poker games do involved many aspect and not purely based on luck.

610  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: It takes years to build a reputation and seconds to break it on: June 30, 2021, 07:17:02 PM
But my question is why would they risk all they have invested to a few players by scamming them? I for one know the forum will side with the player that have been allegedly being scammed in most cases but how do casino's/bookies  protect themselves if not terms and conditions?

The similiarity about this is like ponzi. they paid people to get more people, I think it's the same with that system. what's more, if it's trusted by other people, maybe other people will believe like him too. but when people feels get scammed and that issue spread everywhere I think more people will lose and not believe anymore unless they clarify what happened.

612  Economy / Economics / Re: Poor and middle class as a mentality on: June 29, 2021, 11:59:29 PM
I think people who are born into rich families, they just make things easier for their children and that's not a bad thing. but it all back again from that person it does not guarantee he will be successful just because he was born in a rich family. this is an exception if his family are super rich. I've heard some good quote from tik tok (show me your friend and i show you who you are) the point is the environment that influences people's lives.
613  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Terms and condition a must read before signing up any online gambling site on: June 29, 2021, 11:56:29 PM
I'm a good example of that, I usually don't read the TOS as I'm thinking most TOS are all the same, it's more on technical but I believe the site would not make a stupid mistake to destroy their reputation, so my strategy is very simple, I usually play on a casino with a good reputation and has a big market as I know they'll ensure to keep that reputation intact.

But some casino had weird tos such we had to gamble certain amount before withdraw but they let everyone deposit any amount.  and I think that is the problem if some people dont really read tos  Fortunately, nowadays most popular online casinos make everythings easier. like deposits. withdraw. registers and others.
614  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What Do You Guys Think About So-Called "Shit-coin" ? on: June 29, 2021, 11:52:55 PM
This days there are so many tokens appearing with a very large total supply, tokens like this are often called "Shit-coin/shit-token".
Many people say that this benefits the crypto world, but there are also those who say that it actually make the crypto world looks bad.

What do you guys think about this issue ?

They call their concept a troll coin. and it's not wrong when they call it a shit coin. because their project is only based on trolling / for fun but with a high profitable concept for them. I myself am not very interested if I have to buy coins like that  for my investment except only for doge ( i've using it for few years), there is many thousands of coins exist on market, there is no compelling reason to particularly seriously invest in such projects. this is my opinion.

617  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you make your HODL or dump decisions? on: June 28, 2021, 10:13:52 PM
I've learned my lesson in the past. Sometimes holding your bag for too long results to losses. I've tried to hold cpins when they were up 10x and didn't sell and regreted my decision. At some point you will have to sell and realize profit or it is pointless. Take note you can always buy the dip. Profit is profit.

we've had similiar experience about this, holding without a plan when to sell it not really good idea, just being logic no way market will always continue up and  never had price correction. btw 10x is very big in my opinion.   if that was me if i saw 2x already might be already sell it.
618  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why on earth do you own bitcoin? on: June 28, 2021, 10:13:33 PM
Recently everyone is very anxious, the market from time to time falls, sometimes with the negative news waterfall, sometimes without the negative news waterfall, as for the positive news almost no, it really makes people hate the teeth itch. Whether it's profit withdrawal or principal loss, watching your money slowly being eaten up by the market is generally an individual's anxiety. The more we get to this point in time, the more I think it's important for us to ask, or for us to ask ourselves, what are you holding bitcoin or Ethereum or any other digital currency for?

no doubt there's been a lot of bad news lately regarding bitcoin and crypto lately, from elon, china, and now from about binance banned operating in UK .i would say this not small issue this would had huge impact in bitcoin soon and for the future. and for someone who trades bitcoin or a holder majority they only had one goal make profit from it . because most of us believe that bitcoin will be more than it is today.

With that being said. What would you be doing if bitcoin did not exist?

I think I still the same as before. still working as web developer, still doing business from the past until now. the impact of bitcoin and crypto that I experienced is that it makes all transactions easier for me . bitcoin / blockchain system will be more and more popular in the future and addapted in many aspect.
