601  Other / Off-topic / Re: how many people do you think knows about bitcoin in your community? on: October 02, 2016, 02:21:24 PM
There are those who have heared the word bitcoin, I would even say that is the majority.
But I am sure as well that most of them do not know what a bitcoin is.
And from those few who are actually aware that bitcoin is a crypto currency only one has ever tried to put up a wallet (and failed).
So it can be said that the number of potential future members in my community is still very high.
602  Economy / Economics / Re: Loans too risky? on: October 02, 2016, 02:16:46 PM
Loaning is a risky thing. Especially with bitcoin and the anonymity of the wallet owner.
The chances of being scamed are here higher than anywhere else.
So either you know the guy you are giving the coins in person (and trust him), or you get some kind of collateral that is worth more than the amount you give away.
In every other scenario I would be too afraid not to see my coins again.
603  Economy / Economics / Re: Is Paypal a scam? on: October 02, 2016, 06:44:33 AM
I like paypal as a payment method.
Ebay or online purchases that are delivered to my home address, I do them mostly with paypal.
I think it is easy to use, and if something goes wrong they have already helped me to get my funds back.
But I never keep any money on my account there. Just like I try to avoid having bitcoins on exchanges.
604  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you use multiple Bitcoin Wallets to store your Bitcoins? on: October 02, 2016, 06:39:22 AM
I would say it makes sense to store your savings in different wallets.
Of cours, they have to have all a same level of security.
So if one gets compromised by any reason, not all the funds you posess are gone.
But I do not think this is necessary for lower amounts.
Personally I have a few wallets, yes.
605  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: why people donate to faucets? on: October 01, 2016, 06:10:04 PM
If you want to earn coins of a faucet, it does not make much sense to donate them back again.
It would be like paying your boss for some reason.
I have seen that some faucets offer the possibility to do that, but it never occured to me that actually somebody would use this option.
Besides, the quality of most faucets isn't even worth to make a claim... so why donate?

606  Other / Off-topic / Re: When and why did you start using Bitcoin? on: October 01, 2016, 06:04:05 PM
I started with bitcoins two years ago.
Was looking for some kind of new orientation and a few extra bucks in the pocket.
I'm still here, learned a little programming and much about bitcoin. It's nice to have this hobby.
607  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bank or Bitcoin Wallet? on: October 01, 2016, 08:06:28 AM
I prefer a bank rather than bitcoin because in my opinion, the bank is better and safer to keep money than bitcoin. Besides, the bank is a financial institution official, so it is really very safe
Yeah we know that already as of many replies are mentioned at the top but you're had point there that bitcoin is much more safer than bitcoin wallet banks has many features that can help you specially the offers and the credits cards your using to shop online.

And with bitcoins the whole responsibility is just in your hands. If you mistype something in the transaction your money is most likely gone due to the anonimity of the wallet owner.
Not everybody can handle that responsibility.
It's different with banks. When you send the money to the wrong person he has to give it back.
And because the bank exactly knows who the owner of the account is, he can not escape that obligation.
608  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and the State on: October 01, 2016, 07:11:23 AM
I don't think that there will be some kind of ban in the near future.
When you look at the market capitalization of bitcoin, it's not even 10 billions. And that in the whole world.
I am relatively sure the industry countries have bigger fish to fry than to worry about this, in their eyes small amount.
In a few years, if biton really goes mainstrem and the value multiplies as some here predict, the situation could be different.
609  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: ONE OF THE STABLE FAUCET - 250 SATOSHI AND 50% REFERRAL on: October 01, 2016, 07:04:18 AM
Unfortunatelly I was not able to claim from your faucet.
Solving the recaptcha is not possible at the moment as it seems.
I always get the notification that my solution was wrong.
I tried it three times, so I do not think it was some mistake on my side.
610  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Blockchain.info on: October 01, 2016, 06:37:53 AM
Tell me if i got this right:
Somebody stole from you about five bitcoins, and at the same time the transaction that removed those five bitcoins from your wallet shows on blockchain.info to be worth just 3 dollars?
So two exceptional incidents happened to your wallet at the same time?

Besides, I just checked the transaction you mention, but when I look it up at blockchain.info I see a value of 3011,25 dollars.
611  Economy / Economics / Re: When do you buy Bitcoin ? on: October 01, 2016, 06:11:49 AM
I buy my bitcoins whenever I need them. That makes me independent from the actual bitcoin price.
And I never buy more than I think I need for a certain purchase.
Usually there is not much time between the moment I buy bitcoins and the time I use those coins to buy something else.
This way I avoide the price fluctuations of bitcoin.
612  Economy / Economics / Re: If Bitcoin had a stable price, would it still be as popular? on: September 30, 2016, 03:10:19 PM
I am sure that in this case the interest bitkoints lost the majority. At the moment, the constant growth of prices makes it attractive for investors

Thats right, people invest in it because they find it profitable and they see the price fluctuations and by that they get attracted and do investments, so if the price stays stable investors may take their hands out of it as they would be looking for something else then.

And with investors removing their money comes a time where the price falls agin because of the bigger supply of coins.
And a low price leads back to... investments... and a higher price.
No matter how I think about it, I simply can't bring bitcoin in my mind without a volatile price.
That is the nature of bitcoin.
613  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: SHOULD I BUY AND HOLD BTC, DASH, DOGE on: September 30, 2016, 02:59:20 PM
I can imagine that it might be worth it to buy bitcoins for a long ter investment.
With all those altcoins I think it makes no sense.
Long ter investments are something you buy and then don't look at it for a long time. That can work with bitcoin.
Altcoins are often pumped and dumped within a few days. You would have to follow the charts all the time not to miss the opportunity of selling at a good price.
And there are chances as well that your coin never gets pumped.
614  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: NEW Bitcoin Faucet Kiixa / WIN 1,000 SAT every 10 Min!!! on: September 30, 2016, 02:52:04 PM

It is just a stupid scam Smiley
A stupid kid who think that can get some cents from those popups.

Unfortunatelly this happens more and more often here.
A faucet is promised but all you get are popups and (sometimes harmful) ads.
Seems to be a new way of getting a few clicks the site owner does not have to pay for it.
But I am wondering: after a few negative feedbacks here nobody will click on the so called faucet.
I can't imagine that it is really wort the time to set something like that up and get only ten clicks for it.
615  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: For what was Bitcoin created? on: September 30, 2016, 02:45:17 PM
Bitcoin was created as a way to send money. For everyone.
Bitcoin won't deny you a wallet just because you do not earn enough.
What you do with your wallet is your business, and yours alone.
All you need is some kind of computer and an internet connection.
And those two things are available nearly everywhere in the world these days.
616  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: NEW Faucet , new style - MoneyFaucet! on: September 30, 2016, 06:26:03 AM
I just tested that faucet.
It's a differnet faucet but somehow I like it.
Scratching five conis and solving one captcha is not very hard to do.
The money comes directly to faucetbox as promised, that's good too.
No registration is needed.
The only thing I'm not so sure about is the time it took. I think that is due to the loading time after scratching a coin.
This way I need much longer than for an average faucet to make tha claim. But it's more fun as well.
617  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: Claim 4000 Satoshi Every 24 Hours on: September 30, 2016, 06:18:01 AM
A faucet where you have to buy in can be nothing but a scam.

Just look at this:
You can claim once every 24 hours, so 31 time a month.
If you earn 4000 sat per claim you get 124000 sat a month. That's about 75 cent.
Why should I pay 10$ fee for that??
618  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin is the new era of currency? on: September 30, 2016, 06:13:24 AM
I would not call it an era yet. I would consider it to be still in some kind of beta test phase.
Bitcoin and the the blockchain technology have a lot of potential. But it is still kind of new compared to fiat.
Who knows how stabel it will be with growing computer power.
And who knows how governments will react if crypto currencies should really get strong in the money market.
Only time can tell the outcome of all this.
619  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is earning bitcoin Boring? on: September 29, 2016, 10:32:38 AM
What do you say? Isn't earning bitcoin through the likes of signature campaigns, tweets and posts really boring? I really think so, at least its not an attractive or appealing way to earn bitcoin or any money for that matter.
What do you think? What are the most interesting and appealing ways to earn Bitcoin Online?
well i guess earning bitcoin online is reall boring if you're clicking bitcoin faucets and stuff like that. but if you sell/trade stuff online and get btc it would be enjoyable. Also if you just get paid your salary in bitcoin it wouldnt be boring at all.
I agree with you noe most of faucets are dead or giving very few amount and signature campaigns also give very few amount just have some stuff in selling/buying but its need some good time to settle things

I preffer go out and cut 2 hourd of grass and earn $10 than staying 12hours in front of a computer solving captchas to earn $0,50
Everyone is losing their minds.
Earning in faucet is just wasting your time there's is many good way to earn it. I actually do 3 kinds of it trading , gambling and signature campaign it not look so boaring at all and still have time to do what I want to do.

Agree! Faucets is wasting your time and you are only making the devs rich! Try trading or signature campaigns sometimes yyou are lazy to post or do something but just think you cant earn anything at the end of the week so post! Earning is not boring! But Earning it cann make you tired Cheesy

There are boring and interesting ways to get a few satoshis.
I think we can all agree that faucets are not worth the time. That captcha solving marathon can really drive you into madness.
And a lot of these things have potentially harmful ads on their sites. Or don't pay.
Signature campaigns are by fare the better way to me.
You can write about things you like, won't be covered by ads and you get useful information all about bitcoin.
620  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin replaces the money? Could happen? on: September 29, 2016, 08:10:30 AM
I don't think bitcoin will replace the fiat money but... in future will have more popularity and more people being attracted for cryptos because they give the oportunity to make some thing that fiat don't that why i guess bitcoin is very popular rigth now

I don't see that happening either.
People have to be persuaded to use bitcoin, but for most of them fiat money is sufficient enough for what they are doing.
They see no reason why to try something like bitcoin, when their old way of handling money just works fine.
Besides, using bitcoin needs some technical interest of the people, I think a lot of them do not have that.
