Hey quick question. I have an AntMiner S1 and its not letting me access it via the address on the sticker. I just got it from a friend that was having some issues with it and trying to help them out. I have reviewed over the troubleshooting techniques and nothing has worked. I have pressed the little black button for 3 seconds, nothing. i tried it for 5 and still nothing. i tried the paper clip and still didn't work. I have uploaded a small video of what lights are flashing. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kzPJt_gczQcThank you for the help. I have also ran a ip scan to see if it will pop up and nothing 192.168.1.x and ran a scan of the 192.168.2.x nothing comes up DHCP table comes up with nothing as well.. I have ran wireshark of the 192.168.1.x and the only thing that is coming up is from the computer nothing of any other address. The flashing is a message that it has no internet connection. If your router can handle the range its sitting in, then you'd have to assume dead network board.

dogie, do you think that bitmain and kncminer should have their grades re-looked at, I know I do.?
Why? well the S2 has not been perfect in regards to batch 2 shipping time and issues/RMA delays and kncminer has gone to the darkside. I bet there are quiet a few who agree if you were to poll their threads. Bitmain is sorting it though. I do agree with KNCMiner, but they've done nothing wrong, illegal or unethical in the immediate history. Let me know if you think otherwise though.

Your success rate doesn't actually matter all that much. If you're above 60%, we'll teach you the rest once you become a mod. As long as you can maintain that, quantity of reports is much more important than quality. Specifically, we're looking for people who report things during time periods where the reports aren't immediately acted on, because that indicates a need for additional moderators for that time block. People who report things during those time are far more likely to be chosen, and you're more likely to report during those times if you report more in general.
Any subforums around mining you want me to swing by? Hardware is my stomping grounds but things get picked up pretty quick.

Mods can unlock it and leave a post at the end linking to a new discussion, but nothing to stop him relocking it.

Agreed they look like renders (or photoshop enchancement on the chips at the least). The focal length in the first picture is huge, I don't know how you'd do that.

Almost a Cointerra knockoff minus the spaghetti wires: ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=http%3A%2F%2Fmedia.coindesk.com%2F2014%2F01%2Fterraminer.png&t=663&c=P6zrKTZ5QijLIA) They gave it a shot, what can you say. The only thing similar is its a 4U rackmounted case with 2x120mm intakes. After that it looks significantly different, and seems too much effort to have photoshopped using the CT as a base.

Hurrah! Fixed the first 2 links Important stuff: QFN package The typical hash power is ~12GH/s in rated mode. There is a pin to initiate turbo clock ranges: bs decides the operating mode. When bs=0, the range of core clock frequency is 200MHz-400MHz. When bs=1, the range of core clock frequency is 375MHz-750MHz. Core Vdd, 0.55v~0.88v

I like this feature... will you do this when you update all manufacturers? Yeah I will in the future. I usually also email the important people involved so they're aware of the criteria, what did they did wrong, what they can do better in the future. This is quicker for now though.

I think it's OK, but I will consult the board guys day after tomorrow (we have Passower holidays still). You can mail me at zvi@spondoolies-tech.com if something doesn't work on the SW side. We did some testing with acoustic foam chimney, it is possible and does help with the noise but you really need to know what you are doing because if you do it wrong you can burn your house. We do not encourage it and take no responsibility if something happens, but it is your miner I am not sure that you will need the fan at the bottom, as long as there is good air flow in front and in back it will suck all the air it needs. The SW should protect the miner from overheating by downscaling voltage and then stopping the miner. Run them flat, the passive convection won't mean much compared to the airflow from the miners. Also the acoustic foam chimney is a bit of a misnomer, it changes the frequency profile of the noise rather than reducing it (confirmed).
