Patience and holding won't work at all time, if you think that your token have no chances of its recovery then you better sell it now while it have already a market value and keep those potential coins. The market fall is somewhat alarming and mostly everyone get worried of not bringing back their money but if the scenario will continue next year, maybe crypto will collapse. ICO's will be having a big problem if market won't show any recovery next year especially for ERC 20 base tokens. Some investors and traders won't risk their money if they saw no improvement and if they can't generate profit by it. In this case, ICO won't survive and lead into failing cause they can't generate funds that could run their projects.

I don't know of what you are thinking. You're expecting to much that cause you more headaches and can't think the right thing to do. You'll just thinking of easy money and quick returns from your investment which couldn't be given right now. That is why everybody get warned not to invest too much so there is no regrets in the end. |

I use many wallets but when I can I store all my tokens in my ledger nano S for better security. unfortunately it's not compatible to all coins so I have to use also other online wallets.
Ledger wallet is an offline wallet which could give a higher security than of using online wallets but still we can't assured of its 100% security. Losing our keys is the most common problem around even using offline wallet. To prevent it from happening, we should take good care of our wallets and never engaged on unsecured sites. |

if things get worse, why not to sell it? why don't you save yourself when many people save themselves? after all you can buy at a lower price right? but people's trust cannot be disturbed, I respect you if you want to hold until now We can just do everything we wanted with our investment. People isn't comfortable with the current situation and selling our coin is a good option while it have already a market value. Yeah that's somehow true. Whales always know the game more than newbies because well, they've been in for quite sometime. Whales accumulate more and then sell to make even more profits. But well, who knows maybe the correction is over or not.
We really don't know if this is the play of whales or just the market trend. But anyways, whales participation is really helping to the market of moving prices back and fort. But this tragic fall isn't be the cause of market manipulation made by whales but for the market itself and many investors have turn crazy and sell the coins in bulk but in low price. |

a while back i created the ETH, road down to $50?, i had to close it due to being spammed to oblivion. but many in that topic disagreed with price even going down to $200! now we are closer to $100 and the dump continues. when do you think $50 is going to happen?The possibility of reaching that price speculation is very high as the market continue to respond to everybody speculation. Closing to 50usd is nearly happening maybe in the next coming weeks, I am so worried if this could happen, as my investments will lose its market Its really disappointing and we can't do anything but just to accept it. Where having so much falls in the market, not only for ETH but also for BTC and many more. Crypto is really affected on its regularization discussion with SEC. May their approval will turns everything into good and will bring back winter again. |

I buy, sell coins in the bear market. I see no reason to keep the coins in a long-term in a such market.
That pleases you mate, but not all of us have the same mind like you. Trading isn't just do selling and buying, holding might apply so when market suddenly fall. Trading might consider as a job either full time or part time job, we put our effort doing these that is why we consider this as a job. |

Of course, it can and apparently has already begun to descend, so you can wait for it much lower, I think that Bitcoin can go up to $ 2,000-3,000, and many altcoins will follow it.
Chances are there but we should just wait into it. Pumps will come along with surprise and there is no need to be hurry cause it only lead from getting frustration. We just closely check our investment and never think of selling, controlling our emotions will help us to be guided and not losing. |

There is possibilities that some exchange will turn into closing and it mostly happen into new exchanges which have a small numbers of trading pairs.

Pretend that all the fiat money in the world is gone and the whole world is only using Bitcoin. Ignore scalability issues for this scenario.
I'm sure most of you know that most money is actually created by banks through fractional reserve lending. Our economy is stimulated by people constantly taking out loans to make purchases. But with bitcoin you can't loan money that doesn't exist. Maybe we would have to change our consumerism as a society and prices would drop. Being able to borrow money easily makes everything rise in price. What are your thoughts?
I'm not sure if for example we use bitcoin, it can't eliminate the nature of the loan interest, the use of bitcoin here can still have bank interest. so actually only changing names is not the value or internal factors. The problem with capitalism is the interest on loans from the bank which strangles customers All the transactions coming from using fiat money might still possible to happen for blockchain using digital currencies. This could only happen when people will adopt for crypto and also the government will give support into this. Necessarily, policies and rules regarding by using crypto will be imposed, otherwise many loans couldn't be paid. |

In a way this was to be expected, it was impossible to have such a great year like the one we had an then expect the price will skyrocket again in the next year, we need the bear market that we are seeing, I know many will not agree with that posture but when the price skyrockets during the next years you will be grateful that you held your coins during this difficult bear market while many other didn't.
Though it is a big opposite from last year event but still to be consider as a good investment and good price to start with. May new starters will start for now and make profitable after much probably early next year. |

I heared the same words when BTC was 7K$ price and till now hear the same. Sure, the price now lowest than, say, half year ago. But we still do not know where is bottom and recover market or not.
We can surely expect more than that price for BTC once market recover from crisis. Isn't that simply and have an instant recovery so therefore, we should have to wait it a little bit longer. Yes, we cant be sure when but it's the market who will decide it. |

ICOs are not killing the crypto market, they are just struggling under these bearish market conditions plus ETH also lost a big part of it`s market share this year. Last year ICOs made a big contribution to the market boom, this year it is not the case.
