6141  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 5 most common mistakes of Crypto Traders (and how to avoid them) on: May 08, 2018, 06:37:46 PM
I can add from myself that you should not play with borrowed money. How many cases have people borrowed from banks, and after a complete collapse at the crypto-exchange, they could not repay their debts. Trade only costs what you are willing to lose.
That would actually be one dumb thing to do anyway. Even your own money is not safe when trading as a crypto trader unless you have some great level of knowledge.

Nevertheless, rather than saying not playing with borrowed money, I would rather say, you can still go ahead with borrowed money as long as you know what you are doing. The only problem is to have borrowed money and you are trading with no knowledge at all. That is someone who is set for doom!
6142  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto Currency is fastest way to get rich ? on: May 08, 2018, 05:58:35 PM
yes no. depending on what you have invested you can get rich or you will your money. because crypto is not stable price always change but in the long run holding pays off. most coins pump after a months after release but it still depends on the project.
Yeah, it is really in both ways. You can either get rich investing in cryptocurrency or you can either get poorer investing in cryptocurrency which is one thing most people do not understand.

It is a space for investment and there is always a need to do due diligence before investing in any project and as long as anyone can keep that in check, it would be a huge profit in the long term if everything ends up working well but in the case where the investor is just investing in everything they see, they are set for huge loss.
6143  Economy / Speculation / Re: Brian Kelly Predicts Bitcoin Price Will Increase $25,000 by the Year End on: May 08, 2018, 05:11:45 PM
Everyone is predicting that. Based on what? Based on only mere predictions. There is not any fact to it and no one knows for sure when bitcoin will reach that price. Perhaps it is a way to encourage people to buy bitcoin and hold as they will gain big profits in the future. I mean, I do believe it will reach that price, but not now. Added to that, just because a CEO said that, does not mean it is as accurate as ever. You should not believe what people say.
What is the point of predicting things when none of them can see the future anyway and that is how appalling it is becoming as this market is being rendered more as a highly speculative market than what it was actually meant to be and really, that sucks. We really do not care how much it increases by the year end as the only thing here is to always just stick with the trend as all these dudes only know how to either proclaim unnecessary doomsday theory or baseless bull specification.
6144  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC almost break 10k on: May 08, 2018, 04:25:39 PM
BTC almost break 10k now what will be next ?
Bitcoin price will be at 30k$ for this year better to wait if you want to get a good profit, bitcoin can go up slowly and reach 30k$ before the end of this year. I am patiently waiting and i believed on that.
That is actually what I expect as well, but anything can happen and there could still be a possibility to see this resistance crossed. However, the movement afterwards, even though it is a psychological level is what no one really knows and so far I would rather just chill to see how things end up turning out.

We still have some good support on the way down, so I expect one more bounce to the upside, and breaking out from the $10k upward would cause a quick rally towards $12k which I am sure would be hard to get past.
6145  Economy / Economics / Re: let us promote BITCOIN on: May 08, 2018, 02:34:52 PM
if you are to post negative things about bitcoin, i believe you should not be here in this thread, there are other threads that tackles the disadvantages of bitcoin so please spare this one.

i believe that this should be helpful for people who have no idea about bitcoin. including newbies in this forum. who knows, maybe some smerit giver will read your post if it deserves to be merited depending on how helpful and informative your post is. so good luck to us all guys.
There are plenty of ways, you can promote Bitcoin. Still, bitcoin is already well known and there is nothing you can do about it. Just tell me, how can you do that when everyone already knows about Bitcoin? Yes the price is going down, but it has nothing to do with how many people knows about it or promotion. Even if you go around on promoting or advertising it on social medias like Facebook and the likes of them it will do nothing, cause much has already been done. Just chill, the price will go up at the right time.
6146  Economy / Economics / Re: Is small business ready to sell for cryptocurrency? on: May 08, 2018, 02:02:00 PM
I think people will be ready to use cryptocurrency once the government totally support it. Meaning, it is more stable and secured if it is regulated in a way. With the increase of P2P platform and using cryptocurrency, more and more services will be transacted using coins and this will affect as well merchandise items.
That is more or less like the limiting factor here apart from awareness. A lot of awareness will be created however, once we start seeing regulatory policies and things getting more matured in the space, not like what we have now.

As long as adoption increases hugely and we start seeing real life usage, then we will get to see the currency becoming less volatile and in that case, it would make it easy for small businesses to cope. Even at now, unless you are using bitpay or the likes to convert straight into fiat, you stand the chance of losing either as a small business or big business as a result of the volatility.
6147  Economy / Economics / Re: Would you rather see steady growth in Bitcoin or strong upward spikes instead? on: May 08, 2018, 01:29:15 PM
I wanted to see what the general thoughts of the community here are. With bitcoin being in a pretty steady state for the past few weeks, it seems like there's going to be a set up for some kind of growth. With that, there can be many paths, but after seeing today's price (which was up around 5% when I checked), I was wondering if the volatility is what people actually like about bitcoin.

So, do you guys like the volatility and the strong spikes upwards or would you rather like steady growth, around 5% gains over time?
I preferred steady growth with 5% gains, because in this case for sure we will earn for long period of time, while in strong spikes will be difficult for the reason of sure dropping after that great growth.

For what it is, big spikes always comes with big headache corrections. A steady growth is sustainable, healthier and desired.
So what would be you choice between the two,you seems tl be neutral about this stand of none partisan
The good thing about steady growth is that it is easily sustained for a very long period of time and even when trend is changing it is just going to be a steady one and not the usual quick spike up and quick drop. The thing about the whole spike thing is that it affects so many things and more like this is a point where everything is just being driven insane. The transaction fees, congestion on the network, greed, quick dumps and so more. Steady growth in any market is simply just the best.
6148  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What makes a successful trader, not a gambler? on: May 08, 2018, 11:26:06 AM
Successful traders act more like business people than gamblers. They manage risk, manage inventory, follow trends, just like anyone else in any business for profit.
Yes, trading must be nothing short of a business whereas gambling must be a childish act of an adult. There are a lot of things needs to be followed and practiced every day so that anyone can be a successful trader whereas gambling could be done at any time without caring anything from the moment we decide to gamble.

In my opinion, preparation must be the process which makes the difference between traders and gamblers. Without proper preparation we cannot be successful in trading whereas if we are lucky enough then we can be successful with gambling.
6149  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is trading Bitcoin and other alts still profitable? on: May 08, 2018, 10:47:56 AM
Trading altcoins is still profitable and you can still make good money from investing in some of the coins.  Many of those coins are at the buying angle of the trading circle now and you can take advantage of this in other to be able to invest in them.  However you should do your research very well in other not to invest in wrong coins.
Trading altcoin will be profitable only if that coin is into bumping phase. Because only the dev teams are the bumper. I mean when most of the altcoins are lagging with real time application, how we can expect most people to buy it. When we are considering bitcoin, we can expect all the people from around the world will be buying it so that it will be into bumping phase most of the times. At the same time, altcoins are risky if the owners decided not to bump for time being.

Fortunately many people are sharing here that they are finding big profits by trading altcoins. But I do see these are all only because of their luck because if a coin is not having any real time usage then we cannot make profit by trading it.
6150  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: New gambling ideas on: May 08, 2018, 10:14:11 AM
I don’t know if you are just fishing for ideas but I think it could work because some people would say their ideals truthfully.
But I doubt whether someone will come up with some interesting idea because it is not that much easier for most of the people to contribute here for free of cost by spending long hours in thinking about different gambling activities and ideas. It would be much better for OP to hire some professionals to innovate some marvelous new gambling ideas.

If you manage to create something unique and new  to the table of casinos. Well It’s probably going to work. Hopefully you could make it.
I don't think so. Just being attractive and having friendly customer care will be more than enough for many people here to get engaged with any new gambling site. Being unique will definitely work but that is not easy one and also that is not the only way to success any business.
6151  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambler's mindset! on: May 08, 2018, 08:40:13 AM
Honestly, for some people money is not everything and if gambling games are not entertaining then they won’t bother worrying about money at all. Just look at the games that one can play in casinos. Roulette, dice, poker, slots all are a way too boring. It may keep someone interested for a day or two but these games can’t entertain us for long.
Probably you must be wrong. Gambling has some big differences from games. The involvement of money makes those huge differences. Any game or any entertainment activity definitely will bore you at some point of time but when you are having the hope of making easy money then you will never find those activities boring you. This is what happening with gambling and we are all seeing that all the gamblers are enthusiastically still going for gambling activities even they are making big losses with it.

I am just talking about the general mindset of most of the gamblers because there could be many exceptions everywhere. If gambling will bore us after some point of time then probably gambling industry might not have been surviving till now.
6152  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling and investment - different discussion on: May 08, 2018, 08:05:47 AM
Business are about grabbing money from customers with their own consent. All sort of world business first lure a customer, make him happy and persuade them to give their money with a broad smile on their faces. Casinos are no different. The whole interest of gamblers is in revenue. If they will start making gamblers rich, the casino won’t last for long.It is definitely not for doing charity.
Everyone works for their way of making money then how you can expect the gambling houses to run their business for a charity purpose ? Moreover gambling houses are here for not making you rich but to entertain you. If you understand this concept then you will never get confused about gambling and investment. Unfortunately when anyone is talking about gambling the first thing strikes in mind is making easy money. That is the reason we are all still in confusion about gambling and investments.

Business are being run to provide some services for the exchange some fee. Gambling houses are being run to entertain us for the fee of what we are able to spend with them. If we are wise enough then we can spend as much as little for our gambling activities as fee, you cannot expect nothing more than these.
6153  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: SEC might trigger a bloodbath today on: May 08, 2018, 06:46:02 AM
This is an important event and I feel like the current market correction could be due to this particular event itself. Majority of the market is in the red now which puts most of the coins and tokens in my portfolio in the red, but this is healthy for the market. I don't think this event will have a major impact on the crypto market. Ethereum and Bitcoin will continue their rally slowly and steadily and they will reach new highs by the end of this year(Am optimistic).

Yes that is probably why the market is red but no chart analyst took this into consideration when they said buy BTC as it was nearing 10K. These soothsayers should be put in prison.

The SEC are looking at many coins overtime if you are holding one they deem as a security you will face a BIG loss
Come on guys! You always look for theories for everything and every red that happens in the market, don't we ?

The market cannot just keep going up and the altcoin market in general has reached a stage for correction and that is the main reason behind that right now, and whatever the outcome of the news on ETH and XRP ended up as, no one really cares. It is not like the first time FUD will be raised from news like this and always ends up turning otherwise.
6154  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Trading on: May 08, 2018, 04:46:37 AM
I want to try trading some coins with $ 358.60 in capital by earning a profit per day, which coins should I choose and use?
I need your advice.
Forget about the coins, just choose your brain. Sit down, analyze if what you have in your head can pull you through if you decide to trade and the other you will be able to answer on your own than asking us which coin to trade. Obviously, no matter the coin, without knowledge you are just going to be stuck in your own losses and failure that you will ever regret the day you opened an exchange account when you should have just kept your stuff in your wallet.
6155  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to hold coins in 2018 on: May 08, 2018, 04:12:33 AM
No one knows which coin will explode in 2018 or after that,it all depends on the market situation. If you invest on the altcoin it also comes with great risks because many altcoin will lose its value in years, but coin like DOGE is in the use for long so it might b a safe coin to invest.BUt I always go with bitcoin and investing on altcoin is just wasting of time in my opinion.
Since we cannot see the future anyway. Some coins will do better than the others and the only thing we have is just to know when we should be out and when we should still be in based on how volatile the market can be.

Every year, we have always experienced some bull run with the altcoins and I am sure this is another year we will definitely get to see another one but the thing is to always be prepared for it, and know that you are not holding a shit coin irrespective how tempting the profit may want to be.
6156  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Cryptocurrency market to suffer from strong correction on: May 07, 2018, 08:08:35 PM
I do not believe there is a deep correction within the 12 months. The deep that cryptocurrency went through just recently that lasted about 4 months has taken its bit on the market and for me, I'm not expecting any for now till like 5 years if it can come that close.
Deep correction or not, the market will do its thing, but someone trying to come up with a collapse theory or a doomsday theory when of course no one knows the future is the most appalling thing to ever do and just a way to generate cheap FUD. The essence is just to get some weak hands out of the market and rather than the community growing strong, some will just keep falling for this over and over and over again which would make the whales and the banks win at the least.
6157  Economy / Economics / Re: Will Crypto currencies make local currencies disappear? on: May 07, 2018, 07:05:52 PM
Competition between local currencies Vs crypto currencies are in peak now. Crypto currencies have occupied currency market causing local currencies enforce (banks) banning of crypto currencies. We can see number of investors have turned towards to bitcoin and other crypto currencies with large scale. Will there be a chance / time bitcoin and other crypto currencies rule over currency market and local currencies get disappear slowly in a decade or two?
You guys are asking for too much. If you are talking about fiat, then you are not going to get that eradicated and even if banks decide to integrate the blockchain technology, it would still be a centralized system anyway but expecting that cryptocurrency will take over fiat is totally out of place.

Also, if we are talking about cash, then we might as well say it may be something possible to expect over time, which would start mostly in more developed countries, looking at how third world countries may lack the infrastructure to be able to put a general usage of digital currency in place for the whole citizen.
6158  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: "Hard Cap and Soft Cap" on: May 07, 2018, 05:11:28 PM
Both of these caps are just to make people are attracted toward coming forward to invest with ICOs. They are like some milestone in terms of how much capital so far made. If some people are waiting till the soft cap achieved, then definitely they will start investing once devs announce soft cap is done. Because achieving soft cap must be their way of identifying a good potential ICO.

Hard cap must be the end of ICO, most of the times still there are devs to continue the ICO by altering hard cap to next big levels. Anyway these are some of explicit criteria we need to consider to measure how successful an ICO and not definitely a measurements for potential of ICOs.
6159  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum Potential on: May 07, 2018, 04:36:26 PM
I personally own more ethereum than bitcoin ( in terms of %) I think it has a bright future. Who knows though.
Well, everyone have their preference, but holding more altcoin than bitcoin is one thing I would not do. I believe in the future of Ethereum as a good project and investment worth holding, but bitcoin still have more potentials as far as I am concerned since ETH is its opposite with the deflationary system versus inflationary protocol. However, like I said, we all know what we are looking for and in the total sense; ETH is worth holding for long term potential.
6160  Economy / Speculation / Re: Expected predictions on: May 07, 2018, 02:06:27 PM
Well, we just have to find out then. With the recent tiny increase in price, I think its starting to back up to a much more stable and profitable price. I don't for sure if it would reach $60k before the end of 2018 but I do know that it will exceed last year's $19k value. So for traders and investors, money will come into your vaults.
As we see the price grows slowly, it can give as a much safer investments and a stable way. It may not be this high this year but the fact that it recovers already is a big help.
Exactly.I know a lot of people have been waiting for this.Although the market price is moving upward slowly, still we can predict that this might lead into a bull run later on.And those who have been holding their bitcoins for a very long time will be lucky enough to receive huge profits soon. And those who wants to make an investment in bitcoin, start now.
Bull market is not even what anyone should be expecting for now, at least let us have a solid support with bitcoin b=moving sideways for a long time which is referred to as consolidation and once we break out from that consolidation trend, that is when we should expect to see some bull run on bitcoin but for now, I really would not be too ready for that. So far, bitcoin is not looking bad although with a little bit of pull back until further notice anyway. We just see how things turn out.
