Thanks for the response. I appreciate you taking the time to ask questions.
I have 2 Sapphire 7850's. This one is 1GB and won't mine scrypt. The other is 2GB and does it quite well. Overclocks well also.
Running GUIMiner overlay, CGMiner engine.
Overclock, under clock, default clocks, does not matter.
Thread concurrency: 12404, but have tried various values as suggested all over the internet. 8192 all the way up to 12,404. Worksize: 256 Vectors: 1 Intensity: all values from 10 to 19. GPU threads: 1
All other settings are default GUIMiner settings.
On two different motherboards I got the card to clock 3 to 4 kh/s. No strange messages. It keeps mining along, but never goes higher than this.
On the other motherboard it crashed CGMiner and gave a windows program error message. Here is the output I get from CGMiner:

Tonight was the first time I have seen it crash and give this error message, but it's in its third motherboard. Not sure why this particular card is an issue. I've got 6 other various cards that have all worked flawlessly.
I have futzed with this card every way I know how and consulted the almighty Google gods for advice on numerous occasions. My next step I think is to burn it. Or nuke it from orbit. It's the only way to be sure.
That particular message is for thread concurrency. I usually run my two 7850's at 4096 at intensity 12. For any higher intensity, 8192.

You can generally leave everything blank to get started. Filling everything out is for fine-tuning, increasing hashes. If nothing is filled in, it just uses the miner's defaults which usually work (but slightly slower than optimal). Going extreme on a laptop's graphics card isn't recommended. Stratum and getwork are the two main ways of getting work from the server to mine. If you're on pooledbits.com, go here: http://pooledbits.com/helpThat'll tell you which port is for stratum, which is for getwork/long-polling. Stratum is usually better, but only a few miners use it (Cgminer, etc.). I don't remember the default miner for GuiMiner-Scrypt. If it's Reaper (someone who posts after me will know), just use the Getwork port instead of stratum. If it's CGMiner, use stratum.

Doesn't look like it's being attacked. http://www.coinchoose.com/ shows network hashrate and average over the last 24 hours. It was just over 700 MH/s a few hours ago, right now hovering just under that. If you see a big spike in that hashrate, it's either because it's being attacked or just suddenly popular (which will happen if/when profitability gets high). As far as transactions changing, it might be an issue of the blockchain that rarely happens. If you close the client and restart it and they're back, it was just some odd peer syncing issue. If not... well, you're screwed out of whatever coins.

Perfect condition $2 bill no creases or folds-.1 BTC Scam! What is scam about it?

7790's are about 15% slower than 7850's for bitcoins (duno about scrypt currencies).. they only use about 70-75 watts
They're very close for SHA, 7790's are much worse for scrypt.

This isn't scrypt-jane if that's what you're mining with. Current Info: "blocks" : 17532, "difficulty" : 0.29942021, "networkhashps" : 70691709,

Been a while now, so: UpdateBlocks: 15509 Difficulty: 0.21012351

WINDOWS: Open cmd prompt and type Code: setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100
What does this do?? Increases the amount for --thread-concurrency you can use.

Is anyone trying to sell me 3,000 Xencoins for Bitcoins?
If you're offering, I have plenty.

If you want the noob-friendly answer without the technical reasoning: - Make an account here: https://www.multipool.in/
- Point your miner to port 7777, it'll auto-mine the most profitable coin at the moment on that site.
Everyone will have their own loyalties toward certain coins, this is just a simple solution without getting knee-deep in the muck.

FUCKING FUCK. I MISSED TEH EPIC EARLY ADOPTION PREMINE RAPE PARTY. Yes, yes you did. How did the raping go? How many orphans or rejects showed up? I hear now-a-days these dang kids' rape parties are full of 'em. Not bad. Was at about 99% orphans at launch, I hadn't gotten any since it jumped to one decimal place (0.1 or higher). Rejects will always happen x_x (haven't mined in several hours though)

Well done. Looks to work. Lol, those first 10 blocks, oh jeez...
|

There was no 51% attack.
And what was it?? What was what? Nothing happened... there was a lot of orphans, like every single alt coin that comes out... there was about 10 miners hashing at about 4 MH/s combined.. There was no 51% attack... I'm sure it's trendy to yell about attacks, but please, don't make things up.
