I believe they are but like you said the best way always seems to be via telegram they have been much more active there than anywhere else and very excited to help I noticed same, it’s always easy to get instant response for questions or queries from their telegram channel. The moderators are quick to answer. I must say that their telegram moderators are among the fastest I've seen, it's almost as if they don't sleep with the swift way in which they answer questions. Yeah, it seems like every time I check a Telegram admin is online patiently answering questions or discussing with the community about this and that. It's refreshing to see such a vital discussion. |

What’s with crypto market today?
Bitmax.io transmining and reverse mining launched today could help investors buy up more of the dumping tokens.
The first few hours after their launch of the reverse and transaction mining they had a volume of over 100 million usd. Which is very impressive for a new exchange. That's a good sign that they can become the best. It will be interesting if they can sustain this massive volume. I guess most of it came from the introduction of the transaction mining and reverse-mining so now they have to bind the users to their exchange. |

Was just over with the team in Telegram and the mvp will coming out later today. You need to KYC for it though. It might be a barrier for some but we will see when it comes to life.
Yeah, having to go through a KYC process is mandatory to test the MVP unfortunately. I am wondering if they will have an extern company doing it for them and how long it will take until you can get verified |

Guy's, why GitHub direct link is not working from covalent.ai? It's still showing error 404 page not found. Is there any kind of changes going on covalent site?
Which links are not working for you exactly? Are you talking about the links from the list of private preview repositories ( https://github.com/covalent-hq/wiki/wiki/Source-Code)? If so it's totally normal that you get the 404 error. Their core source code is private and they only have opened it up to selected technologists and investors. So if you want to get access, you have to write them a mail ( contact@covalent.ai). Yesterday I was also facing the same issue. You mentioned links are working fine but GitHub link which is updated on their homepage was not working. I didn't check today but yesterday was not working. Ahh okay. Now I get it. The Github link on the official covalent.ai site wasn't working for you, right? I haven't had these issue yesterday so I thought you were talking about the links of their source code. |

It is a very good news. It is nice to know that the team is doing well. 2 million is a great number and I am hopeful that they will hit the target before the end date for soft cap. Well thats really a good achievement! Getting 0.5M for a project rised already 2M should not be much hard! But we also have to keep in mind about the fact of downward market! Okay, these 2 million sound much better than the 1.25 million that was mentioned before. That's already a decent amount raised for the presale. So not much more to go to reach the softcap in the main sale. |

Covalent protocols when done would limit access of 3rd party to internet users personal data. That would keep users in control of their data.

I have to admit. For me, it's still a bit abstract or quite hard to imagine how their new Internet protocol will work in practice. But their approach to stopping data abuse is their most important selling point if you ask me. I think there was a video about how it all works. It is practically just replacing the conventional https:// with COVA:// and all data will be protected. cova: // is only the visible part, which we hope we do not have to type ourselves. The page providers should then themselves be so far that they only support the Cova protocol (of course, together with the security standards of https) Although I'm looking forward to the first time, when I see a cova: // above, but that will probably take years So basically from a user standpoint, there's not much that I will have to change, right? It all depends on the website to implement the cova protocol on their site. |

So excuse my asking but does anyone know if it's normal that the last commit for the public repositories ( https://github.com/covalent-hq/wiki/wiki/Source-Code) are all from more than 4 months ago. Does this mean they are working on something different at the moment? Like the private preview repositories? |

I guess the MVP has been pushed back to the evening of Nov 19th, the team is looking to implement the beta version of crypto to crypto trading and not just a feel of the UI, I personally think with every delay, we are one step closer to seeing a master piece.
Well, if you consider that their initial schedule for the release of the MVP was the end of November, we shouldn't complain that much when we get it on Nov 19th instead of Nov 18th. |

Are they going for ICO in the coming weeks or months? Date is already known? I am curious to know about the teams view on that. There won't be any ICO and there was never one, as far as I know. I checked coinmarketcap and I couldn't find any information on the token trading which market can I get the token aside the dedicated Bitmax exchange platform? I don't think they will be traded on any other platform than BitMax. It just makes no sense for an exchange to ask other exchanges to list their token. |

I just made a quick comparison of their new withdrawal fees with the ones of Binance. While they both have the same fees for BTC and LTC, the withdrawal fees for ETH of BitMax are now way lower than the ones from Binance (0.0025 ETH compared to 0.01 ETH) |

I know of Datum, for example, but they have a totally different approach to bring back control over their data to users if I remember correctly (so no real competitor).

Just as information: yesterday I talked to an admin in the telegram channel about the progress bar. Apparently, some payments are not yet assigned and therefore the progress bardidn't move the last days. He did not mention numbers, but I'm optimistic that they've reched the softcap with these investments. An update will be available in the next few days
Yes, the team has already announced that the progress bar is being updated manually and as they are busy with the development of MVP there has been no chance to update it. That's really cool, they already reached softcap means they are moving to next as per their roadmap. Let's see when they will announce about MVP now. Great work Onam team 👍. Are you sure? when was that announced? I've asked about it not long ago and I was told that they will be updating the community soon. It is a tough time that I know however I think they've done well. But did not see anything official about the soft cap? I don't think that they have reached their softcap yet. this sunday! this is really good news, i hope i find enough time to take a close look at the MVP. I am very curious. that will be a nice Sunday It’s a great date. We get to check out those features. MVP release is going to have a positive effect on ONAM token sale. To unlock some trading features you need to hold ONAM tokens. I am also curious how their MVP will look like but we have to keep in mind that we have to go through KYC in order to be able to test it. So there might be some delay before the first users can test the MVP. |

The plans of Covalent for the making of a new Internet sound really ambitious. I guess the project is really one for the long-term. It would be great when they could provide us a roadmap with important milestones and when they expect to reach them
Exactly! I wish they keep the development ongoing rather then stoping after the release of their product! I have seen many ambitious project doing that! What do you mean exactly? They won't stop the development after their product is released. The thing is, when is the release and what are they planning to do after that. the developement a project like this will probably never be over. After all, this is not about a small blockchain project but about a completely new internet protocol. https is also still in development. At Cova it will be exactly the same that there will always be innovations and improvements Sure, it's a work in progress. And I wasn't really asking for a date when the whole development is finished. I just prefer it to see what they are working on at the moment and what should be finished next. |
