621  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [LAUNCHED][POW]⚡ELECTRONEUM⚡Official Moderated Thread on: November 28, 2017, 03:47:33 PM
Some says etn is two decimal coin and it has lower total supply than bitcoin. Any would explain about two decimal of this coin??

It is explained here by the man himself-

https://youtu.be/0XjUxfvobH0

Of course it will only apply to payment transactions and future use cases. When trading on the exchange you will still be dealing with bitcoin and all the lovely zero's you're used to seeing. Cheesy

My guess is that one day, should the project see huge success, we will have a built in BTC to ETN conversion feature. It's all about making Crypto accessible to the masses after all.
622  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Centra Tech | Multi-Blockchain Worldwide Debit Card & Insured Wallet on: November 28, 2017, 03:39:52 PM
I know I'm here since ICO day, but I have a concern that is not quite clear to me regardind Centra wallet: Does Centra wallet supports all ERC20 tokens? I mean, if I have several ERC20 tokens on my ETH adress, can it be stored all of them on Centra wallet?

My guess is that it must at least support all the currencies that are accepted as payment on the Centra Card. Not sure if it will accept others not on the list but not many people would do that anyway. MEW and others already offer such a service.

incorrect circulating supply.

I'll email them with the correct data

Is the coinmarketcap stat higher or lower than it should be?

Is Bit-Z a good exchange? Never heard of them before, let alone used them. Just want to know if others are using before I take the plunge. Thanks.
IMHO it's not very good. You have to go through a complete verification process (id scan and selfie) to withdraw any currencies. Only about a tenth of the orders are visible in the orderbooks the rest is hidden. I don't like that. It makes any trading so intransparent.

Thanks, and thank you to all that answered. Although I don't really have an issue with providing ID etc to large exchanges (I did with Bittrex, Kraken and Cryptopia) I don't really want to go through it again. Bit-Z force you to do it for any type of trading and I think that is wrong.

I will stick to the exchanges I am used to. I'll delete my account on this Bit-Z. Cryptopia is fine anyway.

626  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: [BOUNTY][ICO] Worldcore - Time for a worldwide scale ICO on: November 28, 2017, 10:50:00 AM
The entire campaign has got a very good count, but the team has not distributed to all the participants ...

Why would they distribute the tokens before the end of the ICO and before its even listed on the exchange?  That doesn't make sense. It's bad for the success of the project to do that. It just means a dump in the exchange price on the first day,  and loss of value for those that actually invested their money into it.

The bounty manager has made numerous posts since the campaign ended,  so all looks well to me at the moment. Everything is on track hopefully.

The ICO has been extended, so we just have to wait until it is over before we receive our bounties. Fair enough in my opinion.
627  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][AIRDROP] Piggies - Charitable - Potentially profitable - Everybody wins on: November 28, 2017, 10:39:01 AM
I have received Piggies from airdrop, thank you. Still, don't know what to think about this project. Why this name for this token? If this is serious project why choose such a stupid name?

You obviously haven't looked into the project before getting involved. If you had read the first post or made a quick visit to the website, you would find that the name makes total sense.

Just for those lazy people out there, this is taken from the Piggies Web page-

Piggies are your way to show your love for the local petting zoo (well, the one where I live anyway). You see, the local government cut its funding so it’s now only open three days a week. As a volunteer-run organization, they’re permanently strapped for cash to pay for food, medicine, and shelter for the animals. Holding or trading this coins allows you to show your love for all things related to pigs, goats, chicken, bunnies, birds – seriously, it’s downright adorable, and they’ve got all the space in the world, but need a solid cash basis to make sure any additional animals they put up are cared for well into the future.

The interest in this project is incredible, even with the failed launch, no working product as of right now and only being listed on a small/medium exchange the volume just won't die. It has been near the top volume wise since launch.

Once all the security issues are sorted and the team can focus on the product and marketing, I can see this being one of the top 10 market cap coins in the future.

Looking forward to the proper launch of the app, and receiving my bounty and ICO investment. 2018 should be an interesting and exciting year.
629  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [EDU] EDUCOIN - Learning is Earning | Swap is Live! on: November 28, 2017, 10:24:48 AM
Any update on this? Will the project relaunch under a different algo if the Pool and exchange situation can't be solved? Maybe a new name would also be beneficial alongside bounties, airdrops etc to grow the community. It's a shame to have this project taking so long to get off the ground. Thanks.

Hitbtc slows down the trade, because they use this exchange only for price manipulation and attempts to knock BTX off their feet. They can not do it. Initially, this exchange was delayed with the addition of BTX, trying to expose the developer not in the best light and unresponsive for their words. Since they announced the exact date of listing on HitBTC.

HitBTC is nothing but trouble these days, it started out OK. I don't trust them all all anymore. You only have to look at all the worried and frustrated comments they receive on every Tweet on their official twitter account, to realise something isn't quite right with that exchange now. Cryptopia may be fairly small, but it's much more reliable, at least at the moment. I just can't trust HitBTC. They have too much negativity surrounding them now.

They have done something similar with DBIX, taken the listing fee and set a date and failed to meet it. I'll stick with Cryptopia until there is another alternative.

Why is there such a big sell-off on the exchanges right now, is it people offloading their fresh Monday airdrops? Anyone expect a turnaround in the next month or so or was it already at a peak value for the short-term? I have only just bought into BTX so I have much to learn about this project, it is all new to me. I may try mining it too but I can see the difficulty is fairly high. I registered for the airdrop but I am too late for the latest one. Looking forward to next Monday. Smiley
632  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][PoS][TOKC] TokyoCoin - New PoS Algorithm | FREE Airdrops on: November 27, 2017, 04:02:14 PM
What problem do u see? The coin is down but what did u do to get it? U got it from airdrop, u could get about 5$ at top or nothing now. But yet u can wait and hope it will rise sometimes.

There is a flaw in your argument, who do you think buys the "free airdrop" coins on the exchange? Someone has to invest real money, don't they? It is also a case of time wasted getting involved with something the dev has no intention of supporting. Also what about the electricity used while having the wallet open to stake? That counts for something too right?

I do agree with you in some ways, it may rise one day, always possible. The main issue people have is the dev creating many similar projects and then just leaving them to die. It would be far better to stick to one and keep the development ongoing to add value, and even grow the community,

It seems a shame to waste the name TokyoCoin like this, it is a pretty decent name for a project.
633  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] ArabianChain - DubaiCoin (DBIX) - Smart Contracts from Dubai to the World on: November 27, 2017, 03:43:36 PM
Nice to see something positive again, I will check the wallet out later. Further developments will come soon enough and take the price back to where it was before, I have no doubt about that. Thanks for sharing the info here.

From facebook some news about hitbtc

Mohammed Alsehli Hey Mathew, we shared what we had on hitbtc so far, there is no secrecy. We applied a month ago, we paid 9.5 BTC which was raised internally and not through the community and we were promised a date that wasn't met by hitbtc as they communicated some technical difficulties. Latest update they asked us to send some dbix to test thier wallet which we did, and now we are awaiting them to share the new listing date. I hope this clears some of the matters with regard to hitbtc.

ArabianChain was not an ICO that's why it's a bit different as we didn't raise any funds from the community and we have investors who own an equity in ArabianChain Technology "the company" and not DBIX that we have to answer to. All the work you see here is part of our social responsibility and we do it because we are willingly supporting this project even though we have negligible financial gains from it. ArabianChain Technology is an innovation hub that provids business and technical counsaltancy services for governments and private sectors here in the region and that's why we are not as visible as other projects in social media channels because we cannot announce any of those projects until the designated entities decid to go public with it. That being said I really appreciate your thoughts and feedback and we always seek to improve so thank you for sharing and thank you for being part of this family.

With kind regards,
Mohammed

without large exchanges, this coin is always a rare pumps and dumps with a daily volume of 7 btc and good news can not change the situation. Large investors will not buy a coin on a scam stock exchange such as cryptopia

I agree with the need for alternative exchanges, but why did you need to call Cryptopia a scam? I have used it for a long time, and it's the only exchange I have never had an issue with. Hitbtc is absolutely filled with complaints, just check out the comments on their Twitter or search for them in Google. If anything, you have your exchanges mixed up.
636  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: [BOUNTY][ICO] Worldcore - Time for a worldwide scale ICO on: November 26, 2017, 09:27:45 PM
is not the bounty campaign over yet? I think I read it here on one page .
or has it changed the last few days ?

Yes, it ended some time back. The ICO is ongoing but they do not need us to continue with the bounty campaign. I have no idea why some people don't bother read and continue to post their social media stats.

I have mine now, just checked. Thanks dev. I see people already dumping for pennies on the exchange, always sad to see. Too many people have no vision and the project has not really started yet. I will be holding on to mine and following the progress here. Good luck.

Epic Dump Grin
This is logical - no roadmap, no hitbtc, no new website, no fiat and volume on palmex, no news...

It is not really a dump, it is just BTC rising higher than ever before and pretty much every single alt adjusting. Fiat value wise it remains similar to a few weeks back, dropped a bit...sure.

Yes I agree with the rest, this is a project waiting for news, it will always stagnate volume wise until we have something exciting happen. I see most of the promising and well-known projects doing the same right now. It is a long-term project though, I did not expect to make money on this one in a hurry. Good time to buy, now that it is lower in BTC to trade.

Hey folks.
I have been trying to get in touch with someone from the ETN team and Cryptopia for help on this.
I will repost here for visibility.

I have been mining ETN for a couple weeks now.  I sent my balance to cryptopia but i neglected to put the transaction id in.  Now my coins are in neither place.
Is there anything i can do?

I can provide the transaction id's that are output from the electroneum-wallet-cli.exe  via the command show_transfers out
if that helps.

I will pay 25 ETN to anyone that can help.
I really appreciate it!

The only way is to contact Cryptopia and send evidence that the transaction came from you. Hopefully they are responsive and will work with you on this.

The transaction went through into Cryptopia's wallet so they now have your ETN. They just don't know who it belongs to. They would require the transaction ID and mentioning the amount you sent  would also be helpful. They would have to do all the work to check authenticity though, if many people do this it would be a huge waste of resources for them to keep trying to match the transaction to the sender.

Make sure you always include the payment ID when sending to the exchange in future, it's not needed for withdrawal to your own wallet though I believe.

Hope you manage to get it sorted out, easy to make these mistakes.

I am also waiting, still have 1700 from the first drop so not sure what the problem is, hopefully, it is still ongoing and just taking a bit longer than planned. Thanks.
