Has anyone got any coins staking yet? Mine currently states 2 minutes but its been open for hours now and I have none. Just wondering if I did something wrong. Would having 4 different POS wallets open effect it? Thanks.
yes, users are staking. and it's all luck and random, depending on network weight. and reminder, it's only 2% per year. Thanks, it is working. I got 3 overnight. Happy days  |

great but for me poloniex. future SCAM 2017-2018 - no support - 1,000,000,000,000 BUG - sometimes withdrawal block 1-2 weeks and nobody's answering I don't believe they are scammers but Poloniex has definitely fallen from grace since they got hacked, the volume is much lower than it once was and people do not trust them anymore. I also do not trust Bittrex anymore to be honest, it seems they were to blame for the huge dump and price crash of other alts a few weeks back, on top of the Bitcoin fork price falls. It looked like they were using the fork as a way to hide the fact they were dumping all their accrued fees on the exchange. Who can you trust? That is the problem. Any exchange will do for now, we need to start somewhere. Gotta raise more funds for other future exchanges. |

I got the 10 coin testing bonus but only 1 stake so far, fingers crossed I get another one soon  Mined about 13, got three stakes but one was rejected. Too many coins staking now, it's gonna take time to get another one... Wow, you are lucky. With my early mining and 10 coin reward I still only have a balance of 21. POS does not like me haha. How the fuck are you gonna farm a centralized platform...cloud emulating ETN apps with a thousand different wallets? I'm sure the power costs far outweigh cost incentive. Lemme guess, you'll say that's why ETN will never take off, because large scale mineries won't be applicable, in which I kindly remind you of the 2.2 billion mobile user market. "Muh farming rigs" Fella this can be massively farmed. It's just like many other cryptonote coins. It's even coming with a desktop pc miner and linux versions. The mobile part is using left over coins from the 6billion they assigned to the ico. You can earn coins but only a few as the app is to teach you about mining and how crypto works. The other 15 billion coins are mined using the blockchain just like Bitcoin was. It will take years but 100% my rigs will be straight on this. Very true, unlike Bitcoin though, the algo is Asic resistant. Also, the difference between CPU and GPU mining is not huge with Cryptonote. My 6800k is not far off my GTX 1080 hashrate wise. It makes it a bit more fair for all, everyone can mine it, not just those with 10 GPU rigs. I will also be straight on this, PC and phone app. I wanna top up my balance |

Not sure but i think it's registered users not participants. But at this hype, pretty soon this registered users can become a participants. Where "registered" ? I cant believe, that they have so many participants. Its impossible! I mean registered users at electroneum website. Perhaps many of them have registered just out of curiosity. But it can also be like a marketing/cheating or something similar I'm a bit skeptical to, I mean, this Annoucement Thread has 73k views and if I'm not wrong a sinlge person can produce multiple views by viewing the thread several times a day. Even with all the marketing done most people in crypto world goes to the respective project Ann before making any investment decision. And if you take Deeponion has an example, its one of the projects with the most viewed and commented Ann thread (787k views) and totals near 4k members in it's website. But hey, if those numbers are correct it's pretty impressive. That is exactly the problem...the crypto world. That world is extremely small and the vast majority of people don't even know what crypto is. Just because we know what bitcointalk is and how to mine and trade etc does not mean everybody does. This project has somehow gone viral, it is everywhere. Facebook, google ads you name it. It is drawing the attention of people outside the crypto world, that is pretty much what Electroneum is all about though. Getting crypto into the mainstream, not just for the few. I think bitcoin only has a few million users lol. That is nothing to be honest, if this idea works then it could be a game changer, that is a pretty big if though. |

Electroneums registered users, +60-70k users in just 24-48h. Is that legit or faked? I really have no clue. There was also first jump to above 100k reistered users that looked too fantastic. Its not an accusation, I simply wonder what other people here in the forum think.  I have never seen such a craze before, for any other project. Facebook is absolutely littered with ads and referrals, it is all over the internet. I have a few work colleagues that know nothing about crypto talking about Electroneum. Even Harry Redknapp is interested lol. This really is a huge deal, it is also quite unique and they have a bold vision for the future, a cryptocurrency easily accessible to all. It is not far fetched to believe that many people are interested in this, especially as so many missed out on Bitcoin. Even my wife bought some! That means something. Hehe. The excitement and hype around this project has gone viral |

Why come to this thread just to say that? If you don't want to invest in something that is fine, your choice, but to bash something just for the sake of it is ridiculous. It is not overvalued in the slightest, it is way undervalued when you compare XVG to the other privacy coins. You mention DeepOnion but that is new, XVG has been around for far longer. Most of those crytocurrencies you mention should be keeping up with XVG, not the other way around. Your comment suggests other projects are better or have been around longer, which is far from the truth. It has not taken off as well as people hoped just yet, but anything can happen and big things are yet to come. The dev is very active and XVG has a huge community. It has already been successful in its own right. lol half the coins he just named have nothing in terms of privacy Yah but those coins he named are prospering nonetheless. Tell me more about this "prospering" you mention. What defines it? I was going to ask the same question. Cryptocurrency was never created to make everybody rich, it is founded on technology. My idea of prospering is the project having value in its tech and purpose, the making money part is a side effect of the project doing well, not the be-all and end-all. On that basis, the other coins mentioned are doing no better. I back Verge because I like the tech, the dev and the ongoing development. I of course want to see the value rise eventually (we all like money) and I am sure it will, but being worth a dollar or so does not necessarily make a coin better than other coins. It just means it is more profitable for traders. Fingers crossed that XVG does well in the future...value wise, because it actually earned it. I'm sure the miners want rewarding too. |
