621  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the best Social Media for promoting an ICO ? on: January 23, 2018, 11:04:48 AM
Like the title says, i would like some feedback from the experts in this industry, so far i have gathered these 5 most important that seem to be used by everyone, can you add more ways?

1. Twitter
2. Reddit
3. This forum
4. Telegram
5. Slack (which i heard is full of scammers)

Where is Facebook as variant to chose. Or you don’t think that this is significant tool to promote cryptocurrencies. Look at FB. As for me it is one of the best because of its immense popularity.
622  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin future on: January 23, 2018, 10:53:11 AM
Probably the fastest way to earn a profit from altcoin is by trading. But it must also have the skill to read signal signal altcoin, when will rise when will go down. With these skills can make a decision when to buy or sell altcoin.
For me agree on this that in altcoin the best way is when you take the trading this is what i see and this is for the best thing to do for just make sure that you have bought the altcoin that will make you a profit and has the potential to be .

I think that different parts of this year will be different for altcoins. We'll see how Bitcoin and altcoins spheres of influence will be correlated to each other as it was in 2017. But the first quarter of 2018 will be a time of ETH and Ripple.
623  Economy / Economics / Re: Is bitcoin really anonymous? on: January 23, 2018, 10:51:16 AM
My questions is not on the technical side, since obviously you can create an address in a very much anonymous way. However, when it comes to spending it or convert it into fiat or even when spending it on a legit shop online you have to leave an identity trace.

I know that with small transactions is fine, under the radar basically, but what happens with significant ammounts?

I am asking this because I intend to become rich in 4 or 5 weeks Grin Grin

I do not consider bitcoin anonymous, because every transaction can be easily tracked using the Internet, unlike paper money. The only thing I like is decentralization.
624  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Monero (XMR) Wallets? on: January 23, 2018, 10:50:49 AM
Hi,

Any good wallet for Monero (XMR) Like myetherwallet.com ?

Thanks.

I am using MyMonero. It looks like this is the only wallet of full value. So I don’t even think to find any other wallet. Maybe I’ll try work with cold external usb wallet for some time in future. It would be interesting experience.
625  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If bitcoin loses all its value what will happen to altcoins ? on: January 23, 2018, 10:50:05 AM
I think that if bitcoin loses, the price of altcoin will increase. It is general situation for the cryptocurrency. Be patient if we have many bitcoins now because the price is low  Roll Eyes

I think this is what is happening for the last 2-3 months

It is just impossible to imagine that Bitcoin will fail wholly. There are no reasons for such conclusion. So I don’t see any sense to discuss what will be with altcoins in such situation. But altcoins are very dependable of Bitcoin that’s true.
626  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What coin to invest? on: January 23, 2018, 10:48:38 AM
Hello. I started trading a few weeks ago and i lost about 80% of what i invested (I invested in TRON, Ripple and Cardano). I started with 100 dollars and now i only have 22 to invest. I know its very little but im from Portugal Tongue and don't have more money to invest.
Can someone please give me some insights or strategies?

Thank you in advance and i'm sorry if this is something i shouldn't do.
Good trading you guys!

You are probably in a hurry to sell coins. Last year I bought Ripple and held it until the end of the year to get a good profit. This year I plan to buy Ether, Ripple and Neo and also keep them at least half a year to get a high profit.
627  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: It's just been a few days since Bit4G open market launch and since that day, th on: January 17, 2018, 07:36:12 AM
You couldn’t find this coin because it is too fresh, lol. Let’s wait maybe sooner or later it will appear and the predictions will become a reality and this coin will grow rapidly. Ok let’s wait guys!
628  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty or Airdrop? on: January 17, 2018, 07:34:22 AM
Bounty or Airdrop? what is the most easiest way to earn tokens?

Both of these ways to earn very bad. I tried both. I can say that this is not what you should do. It is better to mine currencies. It's much more effective I'm sure. So go ahead! You'll become a great miner.
629  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Learning the Market on: January 17, 2018, 07:26:22 AM
Just wondering if there's any resources to learn the market. I have babypips. Just didn't know if there were much better resources to learn how to watch charts, notice signs, or anything informative.

Is learning waves and what not even useful in the crypto world?

Thanks ahead of time. Will donate some xvg for helpful info!!

Just don't want to scroll through 1000s of coins so any help is appreciated!

Many phenomena on the cryptocurrency market remain for me incomprehensible, and this despite my two-year experience with cryptocurrencies and quite a large income from them. In some extent coins just a game.
630  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: KFC now accepts Bitcoin! on: January 17, 2018, 07:21:08 AM
Oh that’s nice that it is possible now to use KFC. And costs don’t look too high. At the moment I try to find cheap platform and wallet. Maybe KFC will become my tool. Let’s believe for better.
631  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should I sell my airdropped tokens quickly or hold on to them? on: January 16, 2018, 10:14:46 PM
Hello,
Yesterday I saw some increase in my total estimated token value, and today it dropped significantly.
It appears that a lot of people are selling their airdropped tokens as soon as they get them.
I have not sold a single token from airdrops, and with the exception of some them, they seem to be mostly losing value in time.
Should I do the same or hodl hoping that some of them may increase in value, closing the gap I lose in the process?

In my experience, it's rather difficult to sell airdropped tokens shortly after the distribution. Need time. So most likely you will have to store these tokens for some time. Suddenly they will take off at a price.
632  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: IGNIs and Bittrex on: January 16, 2018, 10:13:23 PM
Has anyone on Bittrex received their IGNIS yet ?

What’s your opinion about Bittrex at all. I think that at last time this platform gas many flaws. I am talking about  numerous freezes and of course the lack of security. Now it is better to find any other platform.
633  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can myetherwallet get hacked? on: January 16, 2018, 10:09:39 PM
Hi, i have backupped my pvkeys on an usb stick. I wrote it also down on a piece of paper. My computer broke. I put a metal pin through the harddrives. I will not buy a new pc soon. So i wont check in on myetherwallet for some time. I cant click on phishing links. My question is : are my funds safe? Can myetherwallet get hacked? Can my funds dissapear even when i have no computer, hid my keys? Im to stupid to work with a ledger or trezor. Can something happen to it like with the parity/kill?

Any platform and account can be successfully attacked by hackers. To prevent Internet criminals from stealing your money, adhere at least to elementary security measures: make a complicated password, do not open confusing letters and links, always leave your profile and box at the end of work.
634  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you guys think about NEO? on: January 16, 2018, 10:07:23 PM
I sold my neo a few days back and now its on an exponential rise and i am regretting constantly. I bought it for free GAS and decided to sell it nevertheless, greed is bad!

In general, I think this crypto currency is not bad, but I would not rely on it completely. It exists for a long time, but the history of its growth leaves a lot of doubt. That's my opinion.
635  Economy / Economics / Re: If Bitcoin had a stable price, would it still be as popular? on: January 16, 2018, 10:05:47 PM
Do you think if BTC had a stable price which could only be altered by $0.01-0.10 it would still be as popular and as used?

I think it will keep being popular and in fact it would be more useful than now, because you could use it as a stable storage of wealth instead of just speculation.
We all know that at first, Bitcoin wasn't that popular at all, and on top of that it doesn't worth even that much of worth. Haven't you heard about the guy who bought two pizzas with 10,000 Bitcoins? I know crazy right, its because the price of Bitcoin then was just a crap, I feel sorry for that guys.

So no, it won't be popular the way it is popular now.

Bitcoin became very popular because its price began to grow rapidly. Many people wanted to earn money on this. If the price of bitcoin is stable he may lose in popularity.
636  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investment advice on: January 16, 2018, 10:05:16 PM
Buy more Ethereum coins. Ripple is also have good prospects but it is necessary to diversify portfolio. Ethereum is best altcoin for now. It represent stable predictable growth so it is good investment.
637  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best exchange for beginner? on: January 16, 2018, 10:04:54 PM
I was away from crypto for years and now I'm trying to get back into the game.  I was really STUNNED that there is no exchange, even after many years since bitcoin started, that we can just deposit USD and start exchanging altcoins.  I hope I'm wrong because this would be the single biggest hurdle for altcoins to be widely adopted by general public.  There are just too many hurdles to jump over just to START trading.

For a newbie it better to use Etherdelta or any other platform that well-known and popular. At the moment I try to find the best platform from the view point of security and low fee payments. I am looking on Octoin.com
638  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Litecoin $3k by Summer 2018? on: January 10, 2018, 06:10:05 AM
There's a lot of talk on 2018 being litecoin's best year ever. Many people are hinting at a big announcement coming in the next few weeks/months regarding a partnership with one of the big three (Facebook, Amazon, Google).  My guess is if litecoin continues doing what it's doing now (being a low cost and easily use-able cryptocurrency) and it releases a few good announcements then the litecoin network will be worth $150b+ and each coin will be worth $3k. Easily.

What are your guesses?

This is a too optimistic forecast. I think that Litecoin can grow only to $ 1000 in 2018. It seems to me that such news only wants to attract users that they increase price by buying coins.
639  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Banks adopting Blockchain dramatically faster than expected on: January 09, 2018, 04:41:10 PM

Banks understand that they need to adopt new technologies in order to have a permanent profit. I am sure that in the near future they can also accept crypto-currencies and exist in parallel.
640  Economy / Economics / Re: Will Bitcoin Experience More Price Volatility in 2018? on: January 09, 2018, 04:09:18 PM
I agree with the part of high volatility is the intrinsic value of Bitcoin, couldn't agree more. Bitcoin is used as an investment ride these days, people are using Bitcoin price volatility to gain profit or loss  Grin. As long as Bitcoin is volatile, more and more people are going to know Bitcoin.

I do not think that in 2018 the bitcoin's volatility will be high and its price will skyrocket. Now many investors are investing large sums in promising altcoins.
