621  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Breaking: China May Legalize ICO Soon on: May 02, 2018, 04:54:01 PM
I think they will simply regulate it as it should be. This will be great for crypto to remove all those scam ICOs and ones with no chance of success. China is a big market with a lot of interest, the government will not want to miss out on all those taxes.
622  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: DID YOU EVER FALL INTO THE FOMO TRAP? on: May 02, 2018, 04:44:15 PM
Everyone fell for FOMO at the end of last year, everyone in the media was reporting huge gains so everyone jumped in but then got burned during the correction. It will begin again now that crypto is pumping again so the FOMO factor is back
623  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: $8,000 worth ETH stolen on: April 30, 2018, 09:21:03 PM
Must be some type of malware keylogger or a phishing site. We must all be careful with our crypto, we are our own bank which means adding some safeguarding measures. Banks do the same with money so we must do the same with our computers.
624  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty Campaign is so Tiring so as Merit on: April 30, 2018, 09:17:51 PM
Bounties can be tiring but it depends on how much effort you put into it. Some just do the absolute minimum, spamming all their posts in one day and collecting rewards. Others go more for quality, and in the process pick up some merit - which admittedly is very rare!
625  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Blockchain Coins to buy - which ones? on: April 29, 2018, 08:46:03 AM
Do some research into LISK, this one is going to be huge as it focuses on being an easy to use version of Ethereum with DAPPs being developed in javascript. Also they run on 'sidechains' so it doesn't bloat the main blockchain. Price will likely 10x this year
626  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Bullish already? What alts are you holding? on: April 29, 2018, 08:44:15 AM
Nice to see more green cangles today! Hopefully it will run all the way back to where it should be. Crypviser CVCOIN is going to be big. First to market a secure encrypted p2p app and will soon be listed on hitbtc (wallet testing now). Get some on openledger now for easy gains
627  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What portfolio app do you use? on: April 29, 2018, 08:41:55 AM
Blockfolio works well for me. I don't use it for trading just to check the prices of my portfolio, and i like that there is a passcode when you open it. Most of the apps surprisingly miss out this security feature. Haven't tried delta but hear good things about it
628  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Company Starts Paying Salary In Bitcoin ? on: April 28, 2018, 02:00:52 PM
Good to see a regular established company embracing bitcoin as a way to pay their workers. They will part of history as one of the first to really adopt bitcoin in the workplace. I'm sure others will follow and not just in Japan but in other countries as well.
629  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: May 2018 - start of the bull run or bull trap? on: April 28, 2018, 09:21:08 AM
I doubt that this is a bull trap, mt gox moved a lot of bitcoin and it didn't cause the market to drop. The regulation scare is over and exchanges are finding other ways to continue i.e moving operations abroad to countries like Malta. This is a bull run, positive signs are there so green times ahead
630  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ☝☝☝ BTC at $10K☝☝☝ on: April 28, 2018, 09:15:53 AM
Only 10k in May? That is a low prediction considering we are close to it in April. I think you should that figure up to 12k as more and more whales start to enter the market. Do not underestimate the FOMO factor when bitcoin starts to rise. Some will cash out, but the weeks ahead are bullish
631  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: how to manage losses? on: April 28, 2018, 09:13:38 AM
I'm sure we've all suffered from losses, the only way is to either hold it until the value rises, or cut your losses and invest in something that will almost guarantee to rise thereby cutting the loss. Not much fun but now the bull run is starting again we should be investing to maximise our gains
632  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How Can You Protect Ourselves From Scammers? on: April 27, 2018, 11:10:37 PM
Scammers come in all different forms not just those that try and get you to join fake ICOs. They trick you into sending coins into a different wallet, sell you something but don't deliver, even bounty hunters get scammed by changing payment or even no payment. This is crypto - be wary of everyone!
633  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best Altcoin to buy in UK 2018 (not US) on: April 27, 2018, 04:53:51 PM
If you are looking for a UK based coin with lots of potential then investigate farmatrust. These guys even have someone from the UK government parliament supporting them so you know it's going to be a winner. Currently at ICO stage so good time to invest
634  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How important is a community behind a crypto project? on: April 27, 2018, 04:48:44 PM
A good example of community importance is deeponion. Take a look at their success at all the voting polls which is due to having the most supportive and active community in BCT. The market is low so it's a good time to invest now
635  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Everythings GREEN!!!! Oh... hey wait, it's red again... on: April 27, 2018, 04:45:18 PM
Back to green again mate! Looks like that dip was just a minor blip due to scares around mt gox dumping again. However, those fears where dumbfounded as it was likely to be an over the counter trade which won't have an impact on the market, unlike when they dumped last time!
636  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Top Altcoins on: April 26, 2018, 05:44:45 PM
Most people here are suggesting NEO which is going to take over really fast. Ethereum has too many bugs especially with the recently found security flaw that caused erc20 token trading to be suspended. Those looking for a new platform will simply chose NEO instead
637  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Mt Gox BTC sale imminent. Is this the beginning of the real bear market? on: April 26, 2018, 05:42:12 PM
I think the bear market is over now, the dip today is going to be the last chance before it really starts to rocket. People holding back waiting for it to hit rock bottom have missed the boat, the time to invest is now. Mt Gox sale is too small to have any real impact
638  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why is the market red on: April 25, 2018, 09:42:00 PM
I wonder if it's co-incidental that the myetherwallet hack happened around the same time that the erc20 token was hacked. This kind of negativity on a widely used platform is bad for all crypto. Ethereum will dump badly after this.
639  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Pornhub X Verge on: April 25, 2018, 09:40:10 PM
Verge has been dumped due to this bad partnership deal, good luck to hodlers after pornhub dump all their millions of verge coins into the market. Verge is going from bad to worse, better off looking at low market cap privacy coins instead.
640  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Multiple exchanges stopping ERC20-Token deposits/withdrawals (CVE-2018-10299) on: April 25, 2018, 09:34:19 PM
No wonder all the alt prices are falling, bloody ethereum and their crap erc20 tokens. Everyone should go and use the NEO tokens instead. More secure and less blockchain bloat, i can see NEO rising after all this ethereum hacked debacle.
