It's weekend in America.  Hope they will come back and update us on MONDAY!
622  Economy / Speculation / Re: US senate meeting 18th Nov effects on price? on: November 17, 2013, 02:06:38 PM
I don't think so.  May be a temporary price hike or decline from scared Americans.

REEMBER!!!  Bitcoin is used in world wide.  In 2012 and 2013, American Banks restricted transactions related to Bitcoins, but that didn't stop the rest of the world from using and investing in the Bitcoins.

Infact, you can still withdraw into FIAT outside USA, Americans are the one who have to pay every expensive fees to Buy the Coiins, and then another hefty fees to cash them out.

Mt Gox, if you are American, forget about be able to cash out
Bitstamp, if you are American, you can withdraw but pays a lot of $$$ in fees to cash out + 5-7 days of wait + another 3-5 days in FIAT Transactions to show up in the USA.
Coinbase, American Company, but if you want to buy coins, you may have to wait for about 10-14 days while they hold your money just to buy the coins.  (You'll miss out on the big price move if you were not planning things ahead of time)
BTC-E, you can get your money out to FIAT, but if you are American, it's a huge wait period to cash out, or they may even deny your withdraw request stating they can't accept your documents.

Bitcoins has a hard-numbered cap how many coins would exist.  If the demands exceed the market, price will natually keep going up while many others are just holding on to the coins or May be they can't cash out because they are Americans   Grin Grin Grin Grin

623  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [LEAKED] Private Bitcoin Foundation Discussions On Blacklisting, more (ZIP dump) on: November 17, 2013, 01:54:12 PM
Here is my 2 centavos....

This is American Thingy.  As long as you are not Americans, may be less to worry about?

I'm sure American get screwed by their own laws but other countries, we more than likely enjoy the traditional Bitcoin!

This years laws got American booted from many Financial Institutions around the world, now, they are going to get booted from the majority of the Bitcoin world.  USA is not the only country the BTC will be used, and the USA will be just the fraction of the pie chart as China is emerging very rapidly into the BTC world.

Another Example...  American Banks don't like to put Chip on the credit cards.  Many Canadian Merchants refused to accept credit cards and debit cards from American due to there is no chip on the card.

After American starts black listing the Bitcoin, many foreign merchants could refused to do business with American due to the risk of Red/Black/Gray whateer the color listing is.  The very same people who came up with the idea will be booted from their own circle.

Which will only hurt their own americans, because they will have to find the merchant that will accept other payment means and will be charged a lot higher transaction fees and extra in the price hike.

May be the riches don't care about a few% price increases as it won't affect them but the average people or so called middle class will feel the pain.

626  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Announcement: Bitmain launches AntMiner solution, 0.68 J/GH on chip on: November 17, 2013, 11:08:12 AM
Guys!  Go get your BTCBTCBTC!!!  This company is VERY REAL and the 1st batch sale is imminent. (This is NOT a pre-sale but the miners in stock!!!)

Priced to Profit from Bitcoin Mining.  I can't disclose the actual price yet...   Sad

After a long journey, I met with “BITMAIN”, “Ktzhan” and others at Bitmain’s Office.  (11-17-2013 Chinese Time)

I was privileged to see their operations. Due to the security concerns, No face photos at the office and little blurred PCB boards photos.  Here you go!

FYI: I couldn't get their address ahead of time.  They came and got me and took me there...  A bit scary at that time, not knowing where they were taking me.  But, I couldn't believe what I saw in there!!!

I will return to their office and factory tomorrow for more update.

Now, the machine is mining at 141.49 GH/S with the prototype unit at the lab.  There are few software bugs that they are working on to increase the speed a bit more. (This is under dual blades configuration.)

The temperature of the actual unit was 45.6 degree Celsius (114.08 degree Fahrenheit) while in operation.

I found the room and the work bench they took all the photos here as well!  Same equipment, same tables and the same green mat with cuts on them at their lab!

Here are a few photos to show you I’m not a Chinese national or Hong Kong Citizen (Resident) or who lives and works in these countries. (I did black out personal identifying info from the photos.

BITCOIN DONATION IS APPRICIATED to COVER THE TRAVEL EXPENSE.

MORE MYTH BUSTER VISITS ARE ON THE WAY FOR THE PROMISSING MINERS!

This trip costed 4.3 Bitcoins in airfair, hotel and local transportaions...  (not including the food, the times and painfull butt on the seat for many hours and lovely sensual forplay TOUCH by the USA Airport Security called TSA during the transit through USA.  blue uniform people!  They know how to touch people in the right spot in public!)
627  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Announcement: Bitmain launches AntMiner solution, 0.68 J/GH on chip on: November 16, 2013, 07:22:54 PM
I would say, lets wait!  I think they have the wheels moving.  I think they are going to announce the price as soon as the units are ready to ship as the customers pay.  BTC price is so volatile right now or at least a nice upward trend.

Let them have the beers! (cheer for the night as they are taking the very 1st small break)

628  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: WTF Cointerra on: November 16, 2013, 06:51:18 PM
Hum... contract,

Its a tricky one even the poster here listed as 90 days but the actual contract drawn by someone else at the company issued the 30 days warranty at the time of purchase.

could be a miscommunication within the company!

I thought they were to ship next month in December.

Its hard to speculate online.  If time allows, I might go visit them in person and see whats going on!  That way, its real face to face and hope to see a demo/prototype unit at their office.  That should be a nice relaxing news for the preordered guys!

Hopefully cointerra guy will respond here and provide explanation of what happened soon!
629  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Announcement: Bitmain launches AntMiner solution, 0.68 J/GH on chip on: November 16, 2013, 06:37:34 PM
Congrat!

I think this company will be the KnC of the East!  Working round the clock to produce the profitable miners in-stock.

As I mentioned in the earlier thread, I will meet with them today!  I'm so excited and can;t sleep

I made it to Hong Kong, now I think I have to go get the Chinese VISA to enter the real china!

Busuness stand point, not like other companies, they are very responsive and it appeared they are trying to please the customers with the good working unit!

I will update what I see!
630  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Mike Hearn, Foundation's Law & Policy Chair, is pushing blacklists right now on: November 15, 2013, 05:03:03 AM
How would you feel not if but when this happens to you?

You saved up about 1,000 BTC.  One day, a group of local police shows up on your door.  Mr Richy, we looked into  your BTC Transaction history and learned that you have 0.00001 BTC from the Pizza heist.  We are here to serve the search warrant to take all of your computers, smartphones, tablets and external drives and even the PS4 game unit.  Oh, by the way, we seized your BTC Wallet Address for further investigation.  We will let you know when you can claim your stuff back.

(not to be mean, but please expect about a year or two of the wait.  By the way, we will send you a Tax Due Letter on your Total Bitcoin Value.  You can come up with all the transaction logs and may be able to claim some tax deduction, but you need to hire an accountant to do that.  Have a nice day!  Oh....  Sorry, that Toyota parked in front of your house, we are impounding that car because it appeares that you paid a portion of that car with the BTC Wallet that had a tainted BTC fro the Pizza Heist, so when you prove you didn't do the heist, you can come to the police station to get your car back, ut until then, your car is held by the POLICE.)

Oh, one more thing, we only accept cash for the impound fee from you because we seized your local bank account and the stock trading account and the retirement accounts because your wallet had the tainted BTC and therefore, we suspect you committed the financial crimes.  )

A week later, you'll get a few phone calls from the criminal defense lawers trying to sell you their service but ask for Cash or some discount via BTC.  You retain them with $25,000 USD.  3 months later you get everything released to you except the computers, tablets, cellphones and the hard drives.  By then attended a few court hearings and legal bill exceeded $80,000 USD.

After $150,000 USD later, you were offered a petty offense/crime deal for possessing the portion of the stolen coin.  2 years of probation/supervisory release.  Have to attend meetings, piss in the cups, blow in the tube every few days, work in the chain-gang for a few weeks.

A few years later, at your son's wedding reception, he apologize you for borrowing his BTC account to view some porn and he returned 0.1 BTC he used to pay for the porn site, he made enough BTC via ads clicking/BTC Faucent and paid him back with some interest.  Dad, than you for not giving me up to the police for borrowing your BTC for a few months.

------------------------------------------------

Or a mom with 3 little kids at a local Walmart buying some milk and cheese.  She sees and hear another young mother trying to buy food in the next cash register was short of $20.  Nice lady helps this poor mom, in return she was offered 0.1 BTC just for helping her out at the cash register.  Exchange the coins at the register via smartphones.

3 months later, big bangs go off in and outside of your home at 5:45AM in the quiet middle class neighborhood.  You could her dogs barking and loud voice saying Federal Agents/Police.  Someone is running into your bedroom while you are butt naked, ordering you to drop on the floor and hands above your head.  Male Officers pat you down and handcuffs you naked while your kids crying.  After everyone looked at you naked, you could hear them screaming where is the computers? (You don't own any computers & anything close to it would be just 1 Samsung Galaxy.)

You were receiving the child support or out-of-court agreed monthly child support via BTC from the father of 3 children.  Police takes your cellphones.  Seize your BTC Wallet Address, and you get charged associated with a 4.1 Millions Doller theft from one of the Chinese Exchange Market.  Police said 2 BTC you received last month from your EX was traced back to the Exchange Heist in Hong Kong and you were investigated for possessing and using the stolen BTC (RED LISTED BTC.)

May not happen this way, but just a thought...

631  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [SCAM] Is payonix.com a legitimate AISC H/w manufacturer in Australia? on: November 14, 2013, 10:55:32 AM
Hey, easy man...

I was talking in 3rd...

I'm trying to look into this.  Either way, i will update you but if I was right, can you guys donate 3BTC to cover the expense?  That's after I make it there and login with my BTCGUILD Account. I'm hoping to take a good look at the system.

632  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [SCAM] Is payonix.com a legitimate AISC H/w manufacturer in Australia? on: November 14, 2013, 09:54:40 AM
Hey,

easy!!!  Sushi has nothing to do with any of the ASIC Miner Companies!!!!

I'm taking a risk of losing the airfair and time...

633  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [SCAM] Is payonix.com a legitimate AISC H/w manufacturer in Australia? on: November 14, 2013, 08:48:42 AM
For now, let's give Payonix a break!

We can bark all we want but that's not going to change anything.  If he was the scammer, he would be gone wrong time ago and came back with a new website, new phone number and new username.  This company is still using the same and staying here with the same username even people accused them of a possible scam.

When they are ready, they will release the info.  Like the store in USA, "No Shirt, No Service."  This company is going for "No Photo" policy for now, so let's respect that.

This forum is not to bash new business or new members but to further everyone's well-being by sharing information!  So let's use our energy to something more positive!  (We could be making small profits by trading BTC's up/down)
634  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Is payonix.com a legitimate AISC H/w manufacturer in Australia? on: November 14, 2013, 08:23:34 AM
I would say, for now, let's stop calling them SCAM.  Every business has their plan and model.  Also, if the investors are involved, the restrictions can be even tougher within.

Since the initial sales are done, lets shit back and wait and see.  Enough people call them scam, so if they are, enough warning were posted on the forum.

When Payonix is ready to release more photos or additional info, they will do so.  No one can force them to give up their business secret or whatever the reasons they decide to keep it secret for now.

There were a few ASIC companies in USA this year alone didn't release much info but they do exist and in the process of getting the miners.  (some may went belly up or caused lots of pain to many but let's watch, what info they will release in the near future!)

Food for the Thought:  Competitors are stealing each other's secret to advance.  Competitions are getting harder.  If they are working on the new technologies, it they may have the VALID REASONS to keep thing secret to succeed before things are stolen from them.

Also, if I have the machine hashing out 1.5TH/S right now I don't want people to know where it is...

CEO/CTO may had a good intentions but chip delays from China seem to be the big problem for everyone including the Chinese Companies.

635  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Is payonix.com a legitimate AISC H/w manufacturer in Australia? on: November 14, 2013, 07:34:54 AM
That shows, whoever made the site didn't want other to know or trace them but that is not unusual for the business.  Large International Corporations are more into doing the same practice.  (Doesn't mean they are shady.  It's their Risk Management Practice)

At least the web hosting is from IL, USA.  Scamers don't like to use Paid American Servers.

Selling out the 250 unites is possible due to the very high demand world-wide.  It may not got sold out in 24 hours but in the last several days, that's a very possible sales number.

I would say, anyone who has doubt to contact Andrew and make the decision on his/her own.

I don't have a crystal ball, but I have a gut feeling that a few people may be smiling on the New Years Eve into the New Year for be able to meet the ROI with current uptrend of the BTC Value.

I'm planning a ASIC Myth Buster Trips, If I could confirm, I will be happy to announce it here.

Also, I did speak with Andrew.  He is not hiding but he is simply being very busy with this project.

Good Luck to All!

Hey, if any one can donate any BTC, it will help me get there sooner in AU...  I may be able to bust the Myth for you guys!!  3 BTC will help me get there and fly out.

636  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Time to Boycott all US Companies on: November 14, 2013, 07:17:55 AM
this year, many Americans abroad lost their bank accounts and stock accounts and others because of the New American Laws.  WIth more suppression to the Bitcoins, everyone except American will end up making the profit and Bitcoin continues to glow while, merchants from other countries will eat into the profits that could be made by American and pay tax for it.

It seems, USA is choking his own neck this year
637  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should mBTC become the default unit now on: November 14, 2013, 07:13:55 AM
it might become reality if the market price is keep going up and everyone is holding on to their coins
638  Economy / Speculation / Re: ugh, timing the market isn't worth the trouble on: November 14, 2013, 07:12:40 AM
agree!  How long China will suspend the trading fee?

639  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will You Sell when BTC Hits $1,000? on: November 14, 2013, 07:11:01 AM
If more bitcoin demands are comming in, it may be possible.  I locked some coins away.  I'll check on it in 2-3 years!

Hopefully by then a sweat story, instead of just a piece of paper with no value
640  Economy / Speculation / Re: ugh, timing the market isn't worth the trouble on: November 14, 2013, 06:59:49 AM
Depends on how you look at it, but even you made $30 USD extra a day,5 days a week x 48 week, you'll have $7,200 USD and may be more on top of your regular investment and salary from your day job!

As the market is open 24/7, more chance to to make more $$$

Good Luck!!!
