What about my history? I took over Firecoin on July 19th after the previous developer dumped the coins and then left the coin for dead. If you have ever taken over a dead coin or been a part of one it is darn near impossible to get new people interested. We are coming up on 3 months later I am still there and we have picked up volume from when I took it over. Yes it is still very low but it is still kicking. Ask those members what they think about the job I have done with Firecoin.
Tradercoin I launched it telling everyone from the beginning that it was an experiment. My belief is that most crypto currencies are the exact opposite of what they claim they want. They all talk about being decentralized but yet all revolve around 1 developer or development team. If they leave the coin dies. That is more centralization than most Fiat currencies. So I launched it saying I would not further develop unless community members pitched in and helped develop the coin. I was open and honest the whole time. The majority of the community did nothing. They wanted me to make them money and that was it. So it showed me a lot of people only want a developer to make them money. So that is what the plan is here. There is no way around it, this is a centralized coin. It will revolve around my team and what we can do for it. But I fully believe that of you invest you will make your money back as long as you do not sell right away for a loss.

So here's another question: If one day you feel that the project is going nowhere and decide to drop the ball, what will happen to the cloud mining shares? If I want to drop the project I will discuss it here. If someone is willing to take it over I would turn it over to that developer. Obviously we will need to vet the person taking it over. If no one is willing to take it over I would sell everything and return those fund to coins holders. Now with that said I do not see that happening anytime soon. I am still there at Fire. So as long as we meet the 100 BTC min this coin will be live and I do not take my responsibilities lightly. OK- So you will treat the coin holders as stock holders then. I'm glad to hear that and thanks for everything. No problem. Yes I will treat them as stock holders. I view crypto currencies as just more than a currency. They are a currency because you can use them to buy things. But they are also like stocks because people generally want the value to go up and want the developer to continuously innovative and advance the coin forward. This is more like a company. I want them tied together with ENVY. I want it to be used as a successful currency where you can buy anything you want but I also want it to be like a successful business returning the maximum amount of profit back to the holders. Just so everyone is clear these are all my personal beliefs. Earlz will have to speak for himself on something like this. That is why I used I instead of we. (Of course I do sometimes when it is official Envy stuff) OK, I think this will be my last question for today  Is there a concern with FinCEN and SEC or have you prepared for that since this will dabble into both realms? |

Under current conditions if we only reach the minimum it will take 155 days to pay off your ICO coins by just holding them. This would be if everything was devoted to buy Hashlets. Most likely some would be allocated to LTC gear because it has a faster ROI right now. But they have not responded to me about bulk order so it would most likely be a small amount sent there. The two biggest things that will help us is sell out and BTC rising in value. Last week when running the number for If we sold out. The price bump from the paypal announcement would have allowed us to buy 2000 mh/s more. So the higher the price of BTC when we buy the better. When I started working on this a few weeks ago the price was $480. We would be able to buy 28.5 GH/s at that price. Now it is 22.8 GH/s if we sell out.
Thanks Tom- I think BTC will go back up to 450 but might not be fast enough to make it to the end of ICO. Let's hope for the best and we'll see how it goes in the next few days. |

I have no doubts youll meet your goal MUCH earlier than you think. What are your thoughts on 1000 sat to sell more. People might look at 2000 sat as too high, this way, they can buy as little or as much as they want. 2000 sat didnt seem to do so well. Let the ICO play out to the end. What are your thoughts on calling it "Cloudmining Coin", that way when its 300000000% change on bittrex it will gather much more attention?? See you on the moon with a 10FT margarita. Thanks. We have to leave the price were it is for now. We will do everything we can to protect the ICO investors. I think as soon as people see the payments going out they will rush in to buy those coins on the market. The way we have the mining and the ammount of coins in the ICO it will mean the majority will be people that paid for their coins for a long time. So people need to not sell for a loss because you can always just hold your coins for the profit share. So we shoot for the best but plan for the worse, what if we have only reach the minimum ICO? How will you change the number of coins in circulation and the mining rewards, what will the ROI will be then? I know that's a lot of work to figure out but some of us might want to know before jumping into Envy. |

Just letting everyone know I have updated the business plan to remove all of GAW. It will now be Cloud miners. Yes this first purchase will consist mostly of GAW but I do plan to mix in others to maximize profit while minimizing risk of using only one provider. LTC gear is high on the list I have emailed them. I also know of Genesis and Zeus Mining. Let me know if you know of others and please let me know your thoughts. If it becomes too much about the miners I will ask for PM’s. I am only familiar with GAW and a little bit with LTC Gear. I will be spending a lot of the next few days researching the others so any insight would be useful. Now remember this is still an Envy Coin thread. So let’s try not to get to carried away talking about those companies.
I use ZenPortal, LTCgear and Zeus. Here are my thoughts. - ZenPortal, stable, good payouts, a lot of new ideas and movements, a lot of bugs but they are working hard to get all fixed - LTCGear, very very good payouts, way better then zenportal. Although chris is a very clear guy it's very hard to give them the full trust because the site is very limitied with information and nobody knows exactly how they do it. - Zeus, very low profits, very limited communication and no strategy The ICO is not really going hard he. Hope it will be better, still 49824487.86141689 left. Thanks for the input. I am very familiar with Zenportal and somewhat familiar with LTC Gear. We were planning on buying 100% hashlets since that is who I have negotiated with but have recent events I am trying to spread out the risk to at least 1 other company. Which will be LTC gear but for reinvesting I might spread elsewhere if they are good. And yes the ICO has not been selling as well as I thought. But a lot of people said they will wait until the last 48 hours so we will see if it picks up. Can you put the countdown timer on OP so that us last minute shoppers know when to make a move? |

This would be /very/ hard to coordinate with Bittrex. However, how would you feel about the total coin supply and mining reward being changed to match the amount of coins sold?
For instance, the 10 coin block rewards are currently assuming we sell all Envycoin's in ICO. If we only sold half, we could halve this reward so that really, you'd own that large of a stake in the supply. So, if you buy 1% of the ICO coins, you'd own 0.5% of the total supply (after it's mined out, in 10 years) regardless of how many coins are sold
Yes, that would be an improvement. But, I didn't bring this up initially as I am not here to FUD your coin (in fact, I am very interested in it), but why is there mining at all? Why aren't we using 100% of the BTC invested toward the plan. Aren't the miners just diluting everyone's share of the income? As far as it being "hard to coordinate with Bittrex", I doubt that, only because I know for a fact that Poloniex has run ICO's using that method. All that has to be done is that you (or they) calculate the proper pro rata share at the end of the ICO and they add that to the wallet. They have all of the wallets (and coins!), so it can't be that hard. Like I said, I am not here to disparage the coin, and I may get some anyway, but I am confused on the details. Isn't at least part of the appeal that if we all chip in to the coin, we will get a better hashrate deal than if one did it on their own? And on top of that we will have a nice coin to boot that might rise in value, get added features, etc.? Pure POS might not be a bad idea to consider and that even reward the original investors further. |

Nice to see come updates and features coming along with this coin. Hoping the future is bright and the value continues to increase. Holding my coin for now and waiting on stake as not seen any stake on my coin yet. How long before stake as I migrated coins over from old version to new when countdown was active however yet to receive any stake.
