Also guys I just thought of this.

What if you want to increase nxt to 10 billion? what would you do with the existing holders? hmmm how about you make their balance (balance*10)?

So? how is this different from this idea by enabling more decimal places?

If the above scenario makes you rethink about my arguements. Please share with us your thoughts and input.

Nope. Balance * 10 = a new number.

1000Nxt * 10 = 10,000Nxt

Adding a decimal doesn't change the number.

1000Nxt + .00000000 = 1,000.00000000Nxt

See? 1000 and 1000.00000000 are the same number, nothing changed.

nobody aproved. come from beyond made a joke by saying he wonder if ballsack was paying himself, that thief took it serious and decided to pay himself 40k each month from the fund. all this on the back of the hard workers like uniqourn, utopianfuture, etc

Did I put a smiley that time? That wasn't a joke. U should post about 40k only after my 250k is spent. Before that u can consider that the salary is paid from my money.

Oooooohhhhhhh..........burn on Elmo!

NXT is being dump, being dead Grin

NXT must be soooo dead. Since 2013 because Lophie is dumping since then!
not just Lophie, NXT is being dump from all bigstakers.

Do you honestly WANT them to hold, so that the distribution NEVER improves?
so,this will explain why NXT is being dead, boc of the shit unfair distribution .

What are you, 12?

You had exactly the same opportunity to be one of the 73 as everyone else. That's fair by definition. Either you knew about it and chose to pass on the IPO, or you didn't know about it so you couldn't partake. Either way, the blame falls on you.......

All through life you will succeed and fail based upon your own decisions, simply because life isn't fair. Some people do something about it, other people hold out their hand and bitch until someone finally pays them to shut the fuck up.

Why doesn't the software just warn you and *NOT* show an account number? How would I know it's someone elses?

This is the most rudimentary of safeguards we're talking about. People have been bashing on btc for not being simple enough for the uninitiated for years, yet btc 2.0 is even worse?!?

I, for one, subscribe to Darwinism. Frankly, society protects the inept from themselves too much. Pay attention to what it is you're doing. Sheesh.

If there is one thing that I've learned in my time here, it's that people will never take responsibility for their own stupidity.

Your coins would've been gone with every single other coin if you sent them to the wrong (yet valid) address........think about that for a second before you unleash your next idiotic post.

Can someone make a distribution graph/table and send it to me via PM?

Just to share out the distribution currently

the elite contains now only 20 members.

Distribution looks pretty damn good to me... a hell of a lot better than Bitcoin was when it was 5 months old!

Wishful thinking it is.

Bitcoin was much more affordable then and had no competition... that makes big difference. And you don't have in bitcoin forging system favourising all big fishes and robbing all small holders who don't get any ROI, actually it's useless to forge if you aren't big fish so NXT is designed to be oligopoly from the start. What real new features were finished latly? You saw any? These are healthy concerns. NXT needs democracy, decentralisation and major reform if it want to compete not only with bitcoin but against any sec gen virtual money. Promises and hopes have short life. Big thread also doesn't indicate true quality of developing work if it never becames developed.

1.) Bitcoin was more affordable? 1 Nxt is less than 3 cents.
2.) Forging isn't and never was intended as a mechanism to make you money.
3.) Development is happening over here: https://nxtforum.org
4.) Democracy isn't needed because we don't have leaders. If you want something done, get the code and do it yourself.
5.) Our decentralization has actually made it difficult to come to consensus on quite a few things.

Features are in testing on the Test net all the time. We're only 5 months in and it seems people expect a feature complete eco-system here. Spoiled by cookie cutter alt coins I guess.

I'm curious to see how the community here will build this coin out to raise it's value. I'm an active member of the Nxt community, and it has been a fascinating ride so far!

There is some confusion on my side about all those NXT clients for Windows.

https://nextcoin.org/index.php/topic,2964.0.html
 https://nextcoin.org/index.php?topic=1902.0
https://nextcoin.org/index.php/topic,2793.0.html
https://nextcoin.org/index.php/topic,3965.0.html

Which is the best in term of: safety/no maleware/well tested; basic send/receive functions working.

I wont speak for the others, but mine (the Windows Installer https://nextcoin.org/index.php?topic=1902.0) is an unmodified version of NRS.

I haven't heard of any major issues with any of them, though I do not have a lot of time spent in the alt clients.

http://nxtra.org/nxt-client/ is a preview of the upcoming interface for NRS developed by Wesleyh. Currently that is running on the TestNet.

I learned to type on a "typewriter" but I never used *two spaces* so am not sure where that idea came from.

(I am 46 so I guess that makes me a good candidate to be BCNext also)

google "typewriter spaces after period"

http://www.writersdigest.com/online-editor/how-many-spaces-after-a-period

I also have never heard of this rule.
However, being the last year to even get typewriter lessons (and still able to make a magazine using tape and scissors and a Hectograph Smiley) it may be that standards at that time had already slipped.

I miss the sound of a typewriter...

Though I come from the post typewriter era, I have heard of this rule. Maybe it's not as universal as I thought, though.

Great.. Looks like the new forum is down. One of the reasons why this one could still serve as a backup maybe

Typical, I turn out the lights and not even 20 minutes later...... Cry
The new board is being kinda kicky right now, but it's obviously getting a lot of traffic (or maybe some DDOS joker). I'm having no problems posting and all, but am getting kicked occasionally.

maybe you can blame me Grin

LOL. Lights are on again over there, so it was a quick fix at least (or was it emule failure?)

I believe they're working on implementing ssl.

Hi guy, just post a recent subject about alias on the new official forum,

http://107.170.117.237/index.php?topic=75.msg205#msg205

What you think of this: alias being "rent" from the Nxt ecosystem and not buy as it it the case right now.

Please post you opinion on the Nxt new official  forum.

What are you posting all the time dude? There is nothing when I click on your link, and this is the 10th time, you are posting such a linkg.

Works fine for me
