i have the old wallet and it will not sync - it just says syncing with network? - i sent 22k coins to my crypsty account and now they are in no mans land as there is 0 confirmations and my wallet says i have sent them? ideas?
I cant's synchronize my wallet, any suggestions?

Guy's if we want to do something together, to work for UTC, and let UTC grow we must make serious plans.
Then we need to set up coordinated joint actions like this ones !
1. Trolling and spamming chatboxes
2. Twitter and twittering and twitterering
3. Start pumping
4. Put some serious buy walls
But all of this will only work if it is coordinated in joint actions and if we all are willing to do it for more then a view weeks.
Day after day.
And we need a serious and professional coordinator for this !

I completely agree! As a long time UTC supporter it would be nice to see.... No...it's IMPERATIVE for the long-term survival of the coin, that whatever leadership bubbles to the top here brings this community together. Reading this thread is just painful, not because of the coin price, but because of the childish name-calling, finger-pointing and in-fighting over the current price and the IPO, in addition to the complete disrespect that a few people heaped on the most valuable asset UTC had, dcgirl. The UTC community should be doing whatever needs to be done to get her back in addition to new Devs capable and willing to moving the coin forward and get it back on the road to success..whatever that means in the alt-coin sphere these days. I 100% agree! She was irreplaceable! I'd like to see more activity on Facebook and twitter and helping me in the troll box on Cryptsy also. |

Well I sold almost all my UTC when DCgilr left... and later bought back in at really good prices  Then you did a good job and good deal mate  Don't forget it could be good to be in for the long haul also. If UTC is indeed a such good coin it will rise and shine and will go to da moon when the asic's are getting shipped and starting to mine. I still am a serious believer that UTC will reach this year at least +0,003 and even higher. We need to be first choice for these new miners looking to mine a new coin! Also we need to attract buyers! We have had less than 1BTC today on crypsty and been overtaken for small coins like execoin etc etc. |

Congratulations to us all! When will the price winners be announced? ;-) I don't think there will be a price, but that's oke for me and hopefully also for you I wish. The rules for winning (a part of) the price was to have at least 100 votes. After counting off the so cold "double" votes by CoinPayments there are remaining now 61 unique votes. That's perfect and we get the shared 1st place by that . .. but it is still not the 100 votes they ask for to get the chance off winning the price pot... But I am oke with it, how about you  Sure I'm happy we reached the 1st place, and offcourse it was not the reason for voting, but he, we all want to win a game. I See it was xwebnetwork ( https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=413978.msg6792163#msg6792163), to sad he left with DCgirl :-( I'm hoping we can convince them its worth coming back! I've kept rather quite on here this week observing everything and think I can I have come to this conclusion.
Micheal is like the OWNER of a soccer team! He loves it, wants it to do well and his heart is in it and will spend the cash on new players!
But he isn't the MANAGER of the team but is trying to be it I think. As much as the Owner wants to be the manager the fans will not allow it and can see that his management style isn't working due to the performance of the team (the coin).
As the owner of the team he should for the good of the team (the coin) hold his hands up and say I ain't no manager I'm the owner! I'm gona hire the best manager there is and make my team the best!
We all don't doubt your dedication and love for UTC Micheal but take for example Groestlcoin's official twitter this week! They have been really marketing the hell out of their coin and it's worked! They are #1 on the vote. UTC official twitter had tweeted 2 Times this week! We all know you don't want to do daily updates and see them as been pointless, but this is what people want and investors are looking for! We all know your the creator and are there if anyone has any questions or concerns but if your not going to take a more active roll (daily involvement on threads, troll boxes, tweets, Facebook), then pass the Batton to someone/some people willing to do it. It doesn't mean your not the boss anymore it just shows you are willing to see areas where the coin can do better.
That's just the way I see it. It may sound wrong or stupid to some but that's the best I can explain it for what is worth.
Let's all stop this arguing guys it's getting us and UTC nowhere! We are forgetting what a great coin this is and the potential it has. We have one of the best coins there is yet it's nowhere near the value it should be. Miners are still making good money mining UTC so will continue to sell at these prices , so we need to attract more miners and more investors. This will not happen if we all continue to argue.

Look at the charts on cryptsy and mintpal.
Who would in his own mind buy uTC at such non-bargain prices?
Just tell me who would be careless enough to buy for 100BTC of uTC?
To be fair though, if someone poured 100 BTC into this the price would sky rocket, unless they did it slowly over a prolonged period of time. whos got 100BTC? why arnt they buying UTC |
