We haven’t reached panic state yet. Hold your buys for a bit (or ladder prudent).

Bull is resuming already. Hunting shorts  Grin

First station: $8,846 -> peak of first correction top.

And done. This looks good  Cool

On that note: in all channels that I’m following, I’m sensing no panic at all. In some channels the ‘dump’ is not even brought up. That strikes me as positive and supporting the notion that this is just a ‘correction’. A ‘blimp’ as we tend to say after a few years   Cheesy

Of course, this does not include Reddit  Grin

Probably my last TA here, take it as a parting gift i suppose

A retest of $8,100 is plausible.

What if we never see sub $8k again?

Almost  Cool

I love waking up, seeing the weak hands tossed out and the strong hands getting stronger.

The whole story hangs on the notion that the virus is bad. Yes, it kills people. But is it a global pandemonium? Despite what the news wants to tell us, the jury is still out on that one

I foresee more effect of the absolute shit show that is current monetary policies. All over the world and with no end in sight. Where in 2008 only the fringes hauled the alarm (Zero hedge, doom preppers and so), the push back and alarm is coming from a much wider audience now.

A lot has happened.

An entire generation was brought up with a far better knowledge of our monetary system (and fully aware of its faults).

I can’t think of a better bullish argument that this.

And wil it definitely go worse with monetary policy. It will go full bananas  Cool

This will be E.P.I.C.  Grin

It has an effect, but not immediately. That’s what the past is telling me.

Take a real good look at this one.

The S&P 500 since 2012 measured in #Bitcoin instead of dollars.

The y-axis is in log scale - so if viewed on a regular scale it's much nastier.

Stocks vs bitcoin hmm I wonder which

Looks like Deutsche Bank stock.

Interesting not seeing the common if not consistent weekend profit taking from the trader types too much so far.

It seems bears are not even trying anymore. This reeks like a
Melt-up ahead. But I keep reasoning with a dip after the Halving. Because non-event after the fact (in the immediate term), just like precious halvings.

Masterluc/PentarhUdi just commmented his latest TA.

Quote
In a case of new higher high (higher than 13 Feb 2020 ~ $10500) any bearish scenario will be invalidated.

Masterluc is getting even more ridiculous (if it's even possible). No shit, cap...  Grin

Just hedging his bets.

If the Swiss are worth their salt, the SNB should print Swiss currency and buy Bitcoin instead of Apple shares.

The first country to (hyper)inflate Bitcoin, will have the strongest gains.

We are now at 80 RSI on the daily.  Overbought.

In case of Bitcoin mega rallies, the hurdle is RSI above 85 on the 3 day chart:

Made a mistake once years ago selling early, hoping for 'The Dip'.

Never made that mistake again.

FTFT:

[...] “the reasons for using cryptocurrencies as an escape from failing fiat will disappear when if gold becomes money again [...]”

It won’t. You will not pay your coffee with Gold.

With Bitcoin either, but that’s another story.
638  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: May 08, 2020, 07:46:31 AM
[...] Can’t see that taking a long time anymore (in a free market), there simply is too much money to be made.

You are essentially describing the path to greater adoption. Bitcoin won't become big because of an increasing use, but because of more and more value being captured in this asset class.

Shame Adam isn't around anymore.

I didn't post the "$10k guaranteed" Penguin meme this time. Adam, we miss you  Roll Eyes
