Any update on mainnet launch? I hope I am not asking a stupid question as I wasn't following the thread regularly  testnet is getting very close to a viable mainnet build. Shouldn't be too much longer. |

ICO price 1 ARK= 0.00003200 BTCThe rate is lower if the dev team didn't sold lisk at that range after ico(20000+ sat), lisk price is only 11000 sat on poloniex, they will have huge sell pressure and can get hard to cash out for bitcoin. we have enough bitcoin to not even touch our lisk for a very long time. There's no sell pressure at all, tbh we don't care what the price of lisk is right now. We got a lot of other stuff more important than lisk coming up. What the heck is just happening to Lisk? The Lisk dumping for Ark? It is now Ark is the new Lisk because all the people are here, the original Crypti team.

Hi Ark, When Ark goes live, what will be the available supply , and what will be the total supply?  total supply will be 125 million BUT only about 80 million coins were sold so basically only 80 million ARK will be in actual circulation during launch since a lot will be locked up in other areas. |

I fear for Ark investors, it seems the team is lacking the technical depth to make this project work. There is no concrete update on the state of the project and seems it is going to suffer thesame way Lisks its mother project is suffering from lack of talented developers on their team

O nice! imo, i expect and WANT that personally. to me its no different than you guys slanging merch, its just another way to figure out revenue streams and ways to take what you have and rub it together into more funds for the project. ANYONE who gave you guys coins for ARK, should have NO problem what you do with it, lets face it its YOUR guys' choice, their YOUR coins, WE GET ARK tokens, as per the agreement.
also, you guys are kinda forced here, if you were sitting on 2000BTC as per the plan you probably wouldn't need to work hard to grow it.
Also as far as LISK voting goes, everyone KNEW you guys are deep in LISK, you have that fancy group or w.e from the start. Of course you guys will further your positions there, or have people forgot? ARK SUPPORTS LISK (even if LISK gets butthurt and dosent support them)

Wtf man, are you trolling? The original question is legitimate and definitely not trolling. ICO donators have a right to know what the ARK team is doing with their donations. As one of three ARK escrow agents I am responsible for making that information available to the public. At ARK management request, on Jan 6 Blazed and I together authorized the release of around 167 BTC from ICO (the remainder in the ICO BTC account after requested refunds) to cover ARK team expenses until launch. At the time of this Jan 6 disbursement, the requested withdrawal was within the "80% of all ICO funds gathered will be held in escrow until launch, up to 20% will be available for pre-launch use" rule ARK had in place with its escrow agents. (Since then, the value of BTC has gone up and the value of Lisk has gone down). This withdrawal was made from the escrow-controlled ICO BTC account 3A8TEQ9dNPnJyG3BHyNERPbgZpE5DqvFeY to the ARK-controlled BTC account 356xnT1xFW89d4jSBww7QSiTELnuePLknW. This withdrawal puts the ARK ICO BTC account balance at zero and so ARK has no further escrowed BTC funds available to them in the future. The blockchain record for ARK ICO Bitcoins distributed after Jan 6 is available for inspection at https://blockchain.info/address/356xnT1xFW89d4jSBww7QSiTELnuePLknW. Of the 167 BTC transferred from escrow to this ARK account, around 140 BTC remain. Details of how the other 27 or so ICO BTC have been used are known only to ARK management, not me. ARK ICO donations of Lisk after refunds are roughly 4.7M Lisk, currently worth around $650K. These Lisk funds are still under escrow and no Lisk has been released to ARK control other than requested refunds. I will not release any of the ICO Lisk until after ARK launch. However, at ARK team request I have authorized delegates votes made by this Lisk account, and so 18 ARK members are forging Lisk in their own personal accounts with ARK vote support added to their previous support from others. It is good to know soon we will be able to see the main net launching and this option of generating address via desktop wallet is my preferable and will do so. I hope as it is stated in above post there will be more than sufficient time for everyone to be able to put there addresses before the distribution will take place.
Yeah there will be enough time before main net and even if you miss it ARKs will await you on the TEC website for you to withdraw at the time you wish. I believe that's very good news, we wait for this to happen. So the TEC site will remain up and running for ever or it will close at some point? It will be running for at least a few months after main net and even if you wouldn't input your ARK address by the time we close it you will still be able to claim your ARKs. It looks very good for students who are late to claim their coin, on account tec to their wallet, so how do you think, For all participants who forget to move their coin into their wallets, about 3 weeks or 1 month or more to move to in their wallet .. Whether it will eliminate all their funds or not ?? No, we'll make sure everyone gets their coins. Even if we have to keep the TEC site up a bit longer. |

depends on how long it takes fixcrypt to finish off some remaining things like voting system and how advanced he can make it for the first iteration. Many things are thought of like proxy voting and systems like liquid democracy. We'll let everyone know as we get more confidence on the actual release date. Ooo "Liquid Democracy" i like the sound of that  Cool guys, this is the kinda stuff i figured was being worked on , just general technical stuff, plus testing and initial implementations of some of the cool things ARK will be able to do Keep er' up, and GOOD JOB! this is looking GOOOOOOD to me! here's a video on liquid democracy. I just tried to use the web wallet v0.1.0. It gives me a "no peer connection" error message.
