HashFast Sales <sales@hashfast.com>
To:
Hello,

At this time we are expecting shipment between November 15-30.

Regards,
HashFast Sales
sales@hashfast.com

Wow.. So we paid a premium for them to ship early but now they're shipping one month late?
622  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast announces specs for new ASIC: 400GH/s on: November 05, 2013, 05:37:13 PM
If I could just pitch in, I haven't really been keeping up with the thread. What is this talk about an announcement today? Did HF say they were gonna post an update?
623  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast announces specs for new ASIC: 400GH/s on: November 05, 2013, 08:31:05 AM
So why they're making you the announcer/go to guy now tacotime?

They used to post here like daily and now they basically all disappeared. All of em.

Shitty situation. Updates needed but they're hiding behind a guy - whom they take ages to email back to.

Yeah. Up until about the 18th, all the Hashfast people would post here. Now nothing..

Where are my 12 Baby Jets?..

I expressed to them when ordering that I was coming from 1.2 year wait at BFL. They kept telling me they're nothing like BFL, they're on schedule, blah blah. They seem more like BFL every day. With the Hashfast Baby Jet drawing, going silent, posting for ad space but not here, and generally their change of tone. They all seemed like good people on the phone, now they just refer me to the fine print TOS.

That's cool and all but whatever happened to them wanting their customers to succeed?
624  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast announces specs for new ASIC: 400GH/s on: October 30, 2013, 08:34:59 AM
I wasn't replying to you... I was replying to the HF's continuously propagandised 31 Dec date.

Just for the luz of us, batch 1 owners, our non-roi if shipped by the end of this month.

4 BTC per BJ, 1/10 of what you spent. BFL style for the win!

Plus there's electricity costs..
625  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast announces specs for new ASIC: 400GH/s on: October 23, 2013, 11:08:06 PM
The MPP needs revision.  If it can be reasonably predicted that ROI cannot happen in 90 days, they should give us the chips now instead of three months later.  Instead they are shipping their secind batch during same month as first batch.

Correct. I would encourage everyone to call and demand compensation for the delay. Don't let them just compensate you, tell them to compensate all of us as I did.
626  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast announces specs for new ASIC: 400GH/s on: October 23, 2013, 10:45:55 PM
I have 12 BJ orders, also 12 Upgrades. Up until 4 days ago, I kept getting told that we were on schedule.. Then everyone went silent until this morning with the bad news.

Just think of all the coins you'd have if you had bought bitcoins instead of pre-orders.

Yeah like we all knew BTC was going to double.
627  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast announces specs for new ASIC: 400GH/s on: October 23, 2013, 10:40:34 PM
great to know we give trust to a no name company and as usual they screw there customers.
Hashfast said i belive multiple times about how they had multiple backup plans incase any one part of there production failed obviously that was an outright lie. It is clear to me that they pretty much planned everything at the last second. They on october 18th decided to switch power supplies? That is something that should of been decided a long time ago not 2 days before expected delivery.

Quite funny to see how quickly cypherdoc disappears from the chat and no longer has anything to say.

Maybe because I don't feel like acting like a child like you and erdouchen? Notice how erdouchen whines  when I enter the KNC thread but he has no  problem coming in here when he wants to troll.

I'm just as upset as you guys as I have 9 BJ's on order but there's nothing I can do about it. In fact its expected. Grow up.

I have 12 BJ orders, also 12 Upgrades. Up until 4 days ago, I kept getting told that we were on schedule.. Then everyone went silent until this morning with the bad news.

Here is my chat with Josh: (huge image)
https://i.imgur.com/XLQIa1g.png

Wow. So with MPP, it is only calculated in BTC. But when it comes to ROI, he switches to USD?

HF_John is starting to look like BFL_Josh..

Josh is a dumb name by the way
629  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast announces specs for new ASIC: 400GH/s on: October 23, 2013, 09:12:54 PM
I expressed that I don't just want them to get my back, but every one in Batch 1, and every one of their customers for that matter. I suggest everyone calls and demand compensation.

I have josh (the sales guy) trolling me on Skype. He keeps repeating that since that the btc exchange rate is skyrocketing, i should't care about the btc i will lose. He didn't seem willed to help in anyway.

However they are underestimating the power of angry and organised customers.

Not that I don't believe you, but can you post a screenshot here for the record?

We took chances, if we price of BTC went up, we gain, if the price of BTC went down, we lose. They shouldn't use the market against us.
630  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast announces specs for new ASIC: 400GH/s on: October 23, 2013, 09:07:26 PM
I have gotten a call from HF. They said they're going to see what they can do. I shall post back to see what they offer..

I expressed that I don't just want them to get my back, but every one in Batch 1, and every one of their customers for that matter. I suggest everyone calls and demand compensation. We should not be picking up the tab.

For the record, I called Friday the 18th. They said everything was on schedule.

Also, difficulty rises 2x a month. So a month delay means half the profits in BTC. Random fact.

Josh
631  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast announces specs for new ASIC: 400GH/s on: October 23, 2013, 08:56:02 PM
With a first of December delivery, standing to mining.thegenesisblock.com, we will lose 75% of our "investment".
I can't even tell how i regret my bought.

If it makes you guys feel better, if Hashfast is delayed that means the network hashrate won't increase as much until they do start shipping.

Nice sarcasm. Reminds me of BFL_Jody. I come from 1.2 years of waiting at BFL, 2 SC Single.
632  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast announces specs for new ASIC: 400GH/s on: October 23, 2013, 07:25:10 PM
2 to 3 difficulty adjustments later = 2x to 4x the difficulty. Do i have to say how useless and overpriced these units are at that time? Batch 1 customers, MPP or not, will lose half or more of their investment. Probably more.

Is HashFast gonna do something over this or what?

Yeah, who's picking up the tab? We are basically paying double. November Batch rates. On top of that, when MPP hits 3 months from now, difficulty will be sky high, and we would have to pay 4x electricity costs.

My solution:

Send all batch 1 people 2x-3x the power we ordered in Sierras.
633  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast announces specs for new ASIC: 400GH/s on: October 23, 2013, 06:59:12 AM
Where is our update?
I'm tired of this bs.

I am also still waiting
634  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast announces specs for new ASIC: 400GH/s on: October 22, 2013, 02:16:36 PM
Good Morning!

I saw yesterday someone had mentioned they were having a hard time getting though. We are here, however, the amount of incoming phone calls/emails has tripled in the past 30 days!  Shocked If you call in and get voicemail, PLEASE leave a message with your name, phone number and order number(s). We are calling/emailing everyone back in the order calls/emails have been received.

Thank you for your patience,
Erin & Cara

Hey Cara, Josh here. Any way we can get an update here on the forum of how things are going and if we're still on schedule for ~next week?

Thanks!

I'm at a BTC meetup in Sunnyvale, where the Hashfast VP of Engineering is giving a talk right now.

This is admittedly rather time-sensitive, but if anyone has any questions, I'll be happy to ask 'em!

Ask if they're still on schedule for shipping next week.
638  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast announces specs for new ASIC: 400GH/s on: October 14, 2013, 04:26:40 AM
Thanks for the answers, guys. Do we still look on schedule for shipping next week?
639  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast announces specs for new ASIC: 400GH/s on: October 14, 2013, 03:32:27 AM
so just to clarify everyone's strategy.

if you bought a BJ, when the MPP hits, install 1 module into your current BJ.  then simply buy OEM parts: a 2U or 4U rack along with PSU, cooler, fans and plunk in the other 3 modules.  you'll need an old laptop, pc, or Raspi to install integrated HF driver/cgminer and you're ready to go.

a cheap 5x power increase.  extraordinary.

Thanks for clarifying. I have a noob question: If I want to host the rigs on laptops, would I just connect:

BJ->Laptop

or

BJ->Rpi->Laptop

Thanks

Can we please get a picture of something? A Chip, a PC Case, a PSU, something?

What kind of PSU's will these be using? What kind of cases?

We are 9 days away, and still no pics of a rig. Just a cartoon sketch up.
