Let's set aside what happen to Cavs-Pacers matchup as I don't see any comments here or if anyone was surprise by Giannis Antetokounmpo's awesome performance. What a monster highlights he produced in their Game 1 win against the Toronto Raptors. Honestly I didn't expect that Raptors will struggle to them as I see the game will be close (although close on some occassions throughout the game).

The "Greek Freak" rains lots of posterized dunks which you can't imagined "that is a dunk?" prior to the play. Bagging 28 points, they upset the third seed Toronto Raptors. It's a must to watch the Game 2 as Im sure DeRozan wants some bounce back especially he was hardly blocked by the Greek Freek at late in the end of the game. That was a poster one.

Definitely a whole new level in his career, I was pleasantly surprised seeing him in this light, he was always lacking in personality somehow (well that didn't stop Leonard...) but now it's clear that his ceiling is much higher than expected. I'm not sure if the Bucks have what it takes to beat the Raptors, especially in terms of experience but speaking of that they will be definitely be getting plenty in these series and the ones to come if they manage to get through.

Series will be difficult for the Cavaliers.

If they won only by 1 point today, then they will more than likely lose the games at Indiana and the series will go to 7 games, because Indiana probably will win at least 1 game in Cleveland

Let's see if the bulls can upset Boston today

I think Cleveland improved its defense but shot horrible from the free throw line, I mean horrible around 50%, like 15 missed FTs, that won't happen again and the defense will continue to improve. I don't think they will lose at home, if that happens then a 4-1 would be very doable. I don't think there will be a sweep though. This series reminds me of the Pistons one last year where Cleveland got a lot of heat from Detroit but eventually won 4-0...

With everybody saying look how Cavs performed last season in the finals against the Warriors down 3-1 and going on to win the whole dam thing. So what?! Tongue
Last season GSW was over doing it will chasing the record for most wins in a season, so they shot themselves in the foot for that with being to tired at the end of it all.
And those who say Cavs are better than GSW in the finals need to remember that team was new to the big show so they were like Cinderella at the ball. This time around when they make it there they will have post season experience behind them and won't make the same mistakes twice with whomever they face at the final dance.

Then so what too with your statement? Im not a Cavs fan but I will buy your story.

Tired themselves as they entered the playoffs? Are you crazy? All teams played 82 games before entering the playoffs so the tired thing is out of the line. Do you get it? Is that the reason behind why GSW loss in the finals? You are retarded if you think like that.

Too tired of Cinderella team issue with the Cavaliers. You haven't moved on with the GSW loss last finals? It's almost a year now. Pray that they will become a champion this time so that you will lived happily ever after.

Please, the Warriors did chase the record but the starters played around 30 mins in most of the games since they were all blowouts for the most part. They were perfectly fine, they were just not good enough, their shooters dried up and let's remember that they themselves were 1-3 against the Thunder.

As for the Cavs, I'm a long time fan and supporter so I'm biased but give them credit, they are bored, let's see what happens in the playoffs. Kevin Love alone is playing much better basketball than last year, I won't even mention the new additions Korver and D-Will.

And to the guy saying Cavs are a joke like the Raptors: respect the current champ.

That guy need some refreshment.

If Warriors are tired like what he says, then Thunders should sent them to trash during the West Finals but it didn't and Warriors still able to come back from 1-3 deficit and take the West champs. Where is the tired thing there?

There are really lots of people like that that still finding some reasons why Warriors loss in the last year finals. If already they did accept it then they should living in peace now as NBA is yearly and Warriors can come back again to take the championships. I really loved exchanging words for those people like that so let's get it on and let's heat this discussion thread.

Exactly, many couldn't believe they weren't invincible but let's not forget that the previous year they had a really bad time against a Cavs team that had to play without Irving and Kevin Love and started James Jones and had only 2 available players on the bench. Delly was a nightmare for Curry all series and only when Kerr introduced David Lee and gave more minutes to Iguolada the series started to change.

This year is a whole different story, I don't have a lot of faith in Lue as he hasn't being able to develop the team or work on creating good rotations. However a team like this with Lebron (who always enters beast mode in the playoffs) should be feared.

Who win Nba?

Golden State @1.65
Cleveland     @4.50
San Antonio  @8.50
Boston         @15.00
Houston       @20.00
Toronto        @25.00
L.A. Clippers @35.00
Washington  @40.00

Golden State is the great favorite, but the quote of San Antonio at@8.50 is really high

Obviously I do not understand why he is a heavy favorite and the rate is so low. To me, Houston is one of my favorite ones, and if Harden shows his full potential, then we will probably see what happens. In San Antonio, we can say good defense.

Do you think it makes sense to bet on these playoffs?

Wow those are some very good odds for San Antonio really...they've showed they have what it takes to beat the Warriors and while I don't deny they are the favorites to take it all the Spurs should be around 5-6 odds in my opinion but what do I know, I'm not a bookmaker.

Boston odds are risky and a long shot but still nice though in case some crazy upsets happen (wouldn't be the first time). The Warriors have a very hard road ahead even if they have 3 of the best players in the league. To me an NBA Final consisting of San Antonio vs. Boston is not some crazy delusion, an injury or two and a single upset can make it happen.
626  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2016/17 NBA Season on: April 13, 2017, 10:37:08 PM

I'm sure with the playoffs coming in, Cavs will step up their game. The month of March was truly a disappointing for them. I'm expecting Cavs to begin acting like they are the defending champion and start to win basketball games again in succession. I'm seeing Deron Williams as the X-factor that would help them closer to another ring this 2017. Other worth mentioning is Kyle Korver, coming off the bench and providing needed offense specially in the 3 point line will definitely help the Big Three.

Deron Williams is only a factor when those 3 superstar are having an absence on a game. When currently the Big 3 is present, his performance factor is on average of 5 ratings out of 10. Why? Because of the playing time and play decision. Since D Will is the new arrival, he can't make his own set of play like he always doing in his previous teams.

The best thing to covered that is to play Dwill with the bench squad most of the time.

I agree, Williams has been playing pretty good without the big 3, but with them on the floor he's a non-factor or just doesn't seem to mesh well with Lebron or/and Irving. I think they are not used to having a ballhandler and don't give him the ball enough or just don't use him well enough. He's definitely a very special player that can even be the fourth best player in this team.

Also Lue has been awful handling different lineups and rotations, now the season is over. On a positive note, Edy Tavares the new addition played a very good game with 6 pts, 10 rebs and 6 blks! He's definitely a rim protector the Raptors were terrified and avoided driving to the hoop. Let's see if he gets any minutes in the playoffs though, I doubt it, but he is young and has plenty of potential (he was signed for 2 years!).

As an investor I appreciate due diligence, even from Mr Gamow.  However I look forward to the day that the cryptocurrency world can leave behind profane abuse and schoolyard bickering.

My understanding is that in the exchange section of the Offering Memorandum you can see that the exact value (if you purchased using cryptocurrency) will be determined "days" after the offer ends when the escrow is exchanged into USD.  The exchange rate executed will determine what your actual BCAP balance will be.  In the meantime it is estimated from a live exchange rate so will vary.

Wil lbe determinated within 3 days after closing offering. 3d is today. And price wil lbe fixed till  end of clossing that is in 5 hours from now.

I don't think that this is scam. Bigger Investors and Advisers on Board and all 100% legally.

Definitely, hopefully we can get past these initial ICO troubles and focus on moving forward, I'm sure my money is safe next to such respectable investors and advisors, those are the ones with much more than on the line.

If Marina here can confirm when exactly the exchange will happen for people who invested with ETH and BTC that would be great, as ETH is currently in a rally my stack is increasing by the minute but I'm sure some BTC investors are hurting too so it would be great to know the final numbers.

If I would be able to make that happen I would want a new nick: Magician!  Cheesy

I've posted it on the slack. Such a deal would be nice for sure!

You know guys, there's a cryptocurrency backed by gold (other than Digix) called Xaurum that hardly anyone knows about.

http://www.xaurum.org/

Seems like a much smaller scale than this project but it's basically the same thing right? I don't know how it actually works, apparently it has positive inflation, meaning that every minted coin is used to purchase actual gold that can be redeemed therefore increasing the overall value of each token.
629  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2016/17 NBA Season on: April 13, 2017, 01:57:49 PM
As a Cavs fan I'm glad this season is over, it was awful to watch and the team had a lot of up and downs, especially in recent weeks. I hope they can "flip the switch" and enter playoffs beast mode soon. I'm sure they can beat Indiana in the first round but the Pacers always give the Cavs some problems so I don't think they can sweep these series unless the mindset changes 100%.

As for the rest of the series, I think Bucks agains Raptors could be interesting in the East while in the west all series have something too look for! In theory Spurs, Warriors, Clippers and Rockets should advance but as we know there've been plenty of upsets in first rounds in recent history. Let the games begin!

Guys that is easily explained and a real validation of the Lykke project.

The futures price can be above or below the spot price, when its above the spot price it is what in finance speak we call contango.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Contango

When an asset is in Contango it usually indicates the market view that the spot price (which is LKK in this case) in the future will move up.

Putting my finance & investment background to good use Wink

@mtnsaa: The LKK1Y-price results out of real demand. ;-)

 Cheesy

But how can it be higher than LKK? That doesn't make any sense.

I have no idea tbh.. ;-)

Awesome, you learn something new everyday. Apparently (it was already confirmed by tempus) but slack conversations from Lykke team also concur that it's all natural/organic trading and demand. I'm not sure how exact are the trading/volume numbers on coinmarketcap but that has been increasing for weeks too.

I invested in this also mostly because of the ppl putting their names into it. They have a lot more to lose than me in this. And why would they, its a investment fund, win win for both sides if it works out. They get their 25%, and i dont put my BTC in the sand trading myself Wink

But one thing is for sure, if there isnt a good explaination for the ICO mess this was the last time i used tokenhub.

Same here, they got their funds already (well I hope so) so they should fire whoever caused this mess and delays, these are not amateurs or young unknown people trying to get some fund running (I'm not taking a shot at Taas lol). Hopefully it'll all clear very soon and we can start moving forward, well at least the lucky ones that got in...

As for the Clippers, they had a bad season but I think if they get it together in the playoffs they can even reach the West finals, they have a lot of experience and a great coach/core of players. If they fail, I think it will be the end of an era with the big three leaving (CP3, Jordan & Griffin).

As a whole, Im not seeing Los Angeles Clippers had a bad season. They clinched the 4th spot in the Western Conference and that is difficult to achieved if we compare the team to Golden State Warriors, San Antonio Spurs and Houston Rockets. Also some of their games are being missed by their key starters but still able to managed at the top spot.

And surely they will finished this season with 7 game winning streak if they able to pin down Kings in their next game which have a decent chance.

You're right it's not a bad season per se but it's definitely mediocre, the Clippers were kinda outshined by the Rockets which no-one thought they were gonna do so well. I still think the Clippers have a much better chance to advance and make a deep run than the Rockets honestly. The playoffs are a whole different game and D'Antoni teams always excel on the regular season but the lack of defense and frantic gameplay style don't fly at this stage where gritty defense and slow pace is king.

Memphis is another team that can do very well although they are not playing their best either.

A lot ppl here seem to smoke crack....

This is bitcointalk....

Half the people here are either crazy or pushing some hidden agenda.  For example:

Marina, you wanna try again and say that there's no connection between The Argon Group and David Carlson?

What does it matter if someone followed David Carlson on Facebook?  This is not evidence of anything.  If you had actual scam accusations, you would compile all your "evidence" into 1 clear, easy-to-follow report.

Instead of 20 posts which find loose connections between website registrations and social media accounts that reads like a troll Pizzagate conspiracy theory.

I suggest you hit the ignore button since there are plenty of unstable people in this forum, I couldn't even read a single post because of so much spam, trolling and nonsense. It teaches you about what's the purpose of trust too, that green number under some users.

Slowly i am also running out of patience. I have sent in BTC 10 minutes after ICO start and nothing so far. I dont even know which Change rate will count. Seems unprofessional to me. In case it gets refund and BTC crashes in the meantime i will be really pissed

Same here, this is truly uncalled for and not the right start for any project. I would understand they are sorting things out and I would even understand if they can't display the final balance but AT LEAST give the investors a heads up if they actually received the transaction. We are not paying with Paypal or Credit Card where we can just press a button and get the money back, many of us are anxious because we really don't know where the money went.

too many red flags on this

yep, thanks Gleb, much appriciated

I'm pretty sure it's not a scam, just look at the names involved and many investors already came forward confirming their involvement. But it's definitely amateurish and unprofessional the way it was all handled so far, including the attempt to raise the cap an hour before the ICO.

I'm sure the Argon/TokenHub part is to blame for most of it and it would be nice to hear a proper statement from BLOCKCHAIN CAPITAL so we can all have some peace of mind.

Nice price movement on both LYKK1Y and LKK, I'm sure there's some new interest on Lykke with all the recent developments and so much more to come. Buy price for LYKK1Y is even higher than LKK in terms of fiat which I'm sure is some sort of error or misunderstanding.

Definitely! please request it too, let's spread the word, they do their best and have awesome support always willing to help but I understand they prefer to have some more requests in some cases before adding coins/exchanges. Another app which is very popular is Bitcoin Checker, mostly focused on price alerts. I don't use it anymore just Blockfolio but maybe we can add a request there too.

The top three of Western conference, Golden State Warriors, Spurs, Rockets and Cavaliers from the east, they all lost their game same time today. Don't worry it's not a bad thing, in fact, this is a good sign because that mean they are starting to ready for the playoffs. About time for Cavaliers to face the biggest challenge, defense the title, which I don't think they will success. And other fun thing, whether Los Angeles Clippers can finally break the curse or continue extending it. Damn, this playoffs gonna be so fxxxxcking interesting.

You should respect the current champion, they are down but not out! Any team with Lebron has a chance and they've proven just last Friday that Boston is not a match for them. I do agree that if they get to the NBA finals (which would be logical) they will face even bigger odds than last year if they play against the Warriors or the Spurs. They both are much better teams and the Cavs haven't really improve that much compared to them.

As for the Clippers, they had a bad season but I think if they get it together in the playoffs they can even reach the West finals, they have a lot of experience and a great coach/core of players. If they fail, I think it will be the end of an era with the big three leaving (CP3, Jordan & Griffin).
