6221  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The geeks are the new millionaires in this digital age. on: June 20, 2016, 01:20:40 PM
the geeks whose have a chance to be a millionaire is those geeks whose early or elder on this digital world, still have so damn much concept which not being realized yet and it's a chance,it's not like today, all concept already being realized and fulfilled so there's only small chance to be success, guess i was born too late
6222  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin currency exchange still profitable? on: June 20, 2016, 09:45:05 AM
i was thinking about gathering 1-2btc and 1-2k$ and to start an exchange service with 5-7%
do you think it would still be profitable? with coinbase and localbitcoin and all..

It really depends how much you can get in terms of customers, and how much you can make a profit on each trade. If you can only make like 1% off each trade then obviously it's not that profitable.

Still, if you're dealing with large numbers, 1% of 20 BTC isn't that bad.
too high fee will only lead the business come into bankrupt, what people looking for now is an exchanger with low fees, and exchanger have to get as much customer as they can to get to profit from that small fee
6223  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Preferred method of buying Bitcoin?? on: June 20, 2016, 09:32:08 AM
A really cheap way is to mine an alt when the difficulty is low, using just an ordinary graphics card, and then converting it to bitcoin. Or minting coins with a proof of stake wallet, and then converting to bitcoin.
Then if OP needs exact amount of bitcoin immediately for paying bills which have deadline,OP will go to mine first waiting few weeks and then exchange it to bitcoin while the bills expired? That's not going to answer the question
6224  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Coinbase is run by idiots on: June 20, 2016, 09:28:26 AM
Their system is automated. It not Coinbase fault, its their system bugged out during price spikes
then their customer service lost its functionality to fix their client's problem, automated system will not always running smooth so it's why they have to hire an engineer and give them salary every damn month
6225  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: will sel bitcoin on: June 20, 2016, 09:24:18 AM
That is nice becaiues there are to many people who are just holding and never want to sell their coins only if the price rises above the 2000 each or something and they dont know what to do with the coins.
holding their coins meant they know what they do,they won't risking their coins by trading somehow they would prefer keeping their coins till the price reach 2000$ because it's not risky,if prices really reach 2000$ then good,if the price falling down, then they don't lose btc, just need to wait another time
6226  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: why most of btc users are russians? on: June 20, 2016, 09:15:47 AM
why most of btc users are russians?  Huh Huh Huh Huh Huh Huh Huh
and why most of russians are scammers?  Angry

I guess this is somehow related with Mavrodi, founder of MMM that live in Russia. He's influential enough and eventhough he did scam Russians before there are still people who trust him and his program.

you are right, since MMM using bitcoin, this may very big influence. I also wonder some of my facebook friends are still investing in MMM, it's obvious they make use of a ponzi scheme.
they possibly still get a profit from it so they won't stop till they losing bunch of money, sometimes gaining experience takes a lot of money
but even mavrodi had been recorded getting prisoned a few years back won't make they stop from joining it,I could say it's what everyone called "Greediness."
6227  Economy / Exchanges / Re: CampBX: is it worth buying BTC from them? on: June 20, 2016, 09:06:51 AM
I read so many negative reviews and reports about CampBX, such as frozen wallets, non deposit of fiat, not to talk about inability to withdraw fiat and none existent customer service.

But they have been around forever, have consistently the lowest price BTC and still seem to be in business.

has anyone had recent dealings with them? is it worth taking a punt?

thank you
if they have a negative reviews why still bother with their service?,if i were you, i won't trying to make useless effort to make a transaction there
i would rather buying btc with a "little" bit higher price than losing money or getting into a trouble
6228  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: bitcoin trading :) on: June 20, 2016, 09:04:43 AM
cool! thnx guys! im doing my homework now i got a good knowledge from the sites you gave,.. ill take your tips for doing altcoin trading than bitcoin,...  Cool thnx again and more power

You can try trading bitcoin but the difference is trying to short bitcoin means you need to wait for price to change in your favour with just one coin  however if you trade alts then you have many more coins to choose from so you can trade much more each day.  Plus trading bitcoin you probably need more money.

better do trade altcoins. because if do the trade bitcoin, bitcoin prices are currently very high and quite risky for a beginner trader.
bitcoin prices now keep rising periodically, simply see the price chart and you'll know what going on,buying bitcoin still a trend in an exchanger because  buy>sell, trading altcoin is more harder i guess
6229  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin survive world war III? on: June 20, 2016, 09:00:57 AM
As we are in the new Information age, if Bitcoin is as secure as everyone on this forum says it is, it could be attacked many times, it might survive, it might not. The blockchain will survive though.

We need a lot more smart people in this world to survive WWIII

Yeah agree with this , bitcoin will survive if more smart people still alive if world war 3 will happen, but there is no sense to start world 3 many innocent will die.
that's war, innocent doesn't matter, without smart people blockchain will still alive as long there's still a computer connected to the network as it decentralized, but if there's none,i doubt bitcoin still alive, but even bitcoin still alive the price will falling down, people don't need bitcoin anymore
6230  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Cyber Crime on: June 20, 2016, 08:49:31 AM
Bitcoin is not very safe and that is the biggest reason why there are allot of people who dont want to use the bitcoin as payments and i can see why because it is worth allot of money no one wants to lose taht.
because is safe, depend on who's holding the bitcoin,if the holder are smart, they'll enable any way to prevent from being stolen or being victim of cybercrime such as enabling 2fa, or even keep their private bitcoin storage to go offline when it doesn't needed
6231  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: See the balance on this bitcoin address (must see) on: June 20, 2016, 01:49:09 AM
if the owner of this address massly selling it on few exchangers at the same time with all of his BTC,the price will sure getting down
this is why someone could take control of bitcoin prices , they just need a thousand of btc or more
6232  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin currency exchange still profitable? on: June 19, 2016, 08:00:43 AM
Bitcoin Currency Exchange is set to be profitable but you need to meet certain criteria.

1.  You must make your exchange popular to get lots of  users.
2.  Make sure your security is at it's best, to avoid hacking and making you lost all your users fund deposited in your site.
3.  Have a marketing strategy and apply the reward system.  In short make your client Happy!
4.  Make sure your profit exceeds your site maintenance well doing those first 3 will make sure this will always happen Cheesy

the second point. as long OP don't enable API to make his service automatic it's not going to be a problem, hacker can't take control to the address because it's not connected to the website database and all of control is owned by OP
6233  Economy / Lending / Re: cloud mining on: June 17, 2016, 06:18:33 AM
hi any one willing to help with some bitcoin im a student  and  i dont have any bitcoin and  i want to invest in a cloud mining company can you help me
consider it a loan  please

such a bad idea, looking for loan meant you can't afford if the cloud mining website suddenly turn into scam, your investment will become such a waste of money and you'll feel desperate, even though no one will give you a loan due to your rank and lack of trust, better to develop your skill i guess
6234  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: DDoS targeting exchanges? on: June 17, 2016, 06:14:24 AM

it's about the time and the website will up,i wonder why they don't activate the DDOS protection
6235  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Bitcoin Debit Cards on: June 17, 2016, 03:13:39 AM
i dont give a damn about anonimity, i'm not buying drugs with bitcoin..
I have a debit card and i like it, convert bitcoin to fiat have fee's too (specially here in brazil) so most of the time a prefer just to spend in bitcoin.
when your government document being stolen  by some carders and they'd use it to verify their account in order to get verified and placing order with other's illegal credit card, you'll feel how important anonymity is
6236  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How Often Do You Check Your Bitcoin Wallet Balance? on: June 16, 2016, 09:39:20 PM
i'm rarely checking my balance through opening a wallet, what i doing to know how much my balance is directly checking my address through blockchain explorer because to access my balance need so many verification and it's complicated, and i find this so efficient
6237  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Anyone tried to buy BTCs with credit card on bitnovo.com? on: June 16, 2016, 09:21:56 PM

6238  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: is this considered a scam? on: June 16, 2016, 09:13:00 PM
seems he's expecting a positive feed back and only pay for positive rather than negative, sometimes being honest will give you pain in your ass
but there's nothing wrong as long the feedback is really honest even it's about their negative side lol
6239  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Finally Some Sensible News About Bitcoin price rally! on: June 16, 2016, 09:07:16 PM
australian police take advantage of this price rally lol,i don't really sure but they'll not actually make an offline auction right,i mean their auction will give affect to the bitcoin prices right now and could probably make the price falling down again
6240  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Each country will have his own altcoin , how about bitcoin? on: June 16, 2016, 10:27:12 AM
lol that's funny to see country creating cryptocoin and got inspired by satoshi nakamoto, bitcoin will probably lead those coin as a coin which have the highest value among all, because it's the first cryptocoin ever created and have been used to be payment processor for few online stores around the world
