6341  Economy / Economics / Re: will next decade be the bitcoin era ?? on: November 24, 2017, 11:03:54 AM
Yes, you might be right. Today so many people do believe into the further growth of Bitcoin that they even actively take part in binary options. When recently American swap exchange LedgerX said it would launch options where the cost of BTC will be $ 10,000, many people were ready to deal with it. Bitcoin is the crypto of new era.
Bitcoin is really here to stay and there is no doubt about it. With so much development going on and the way people are ready to accept the usage of bitcoin, then one can gladly state that we are just starting and we are not even close to where we are going yet. A lot of things are changing, a lot of enthusiasm is growing among new investors and I cannot just wait to see how it all plays out.

Yes I believe that bitcoin will be giving many opportunity in the upcoming years. Nowadays there are plenty of people earning bigger from bitcoin so I believe years from now bitcoin still going stronger and growing fast. We just need to continue supporting and doing bitcoin in our daily lives because it really gives better and brighter future for us.
In few years to come, we are going to consider most of us here today as elites. The thing is that it is a step and it will keep advancing as we keep seeing new set of investors coming in. As long as bitcoin keeps staying relevant and we start seeing a huge real life usage for it than just an asset or investment, then bitcoin will really make some huge growth in the next decade.
6342  Economy / Economics / Re: What is a good amount of BTC to Buy? on: November 24, 2017, 07:11:13 AM
If they know what they are doing and if they are aware of the risk of investing in bitcoin by buying it then there is nothing to worry about. Even though investing in bitcoin is risky it is still a great choice as an investment because if you will just hold it for a long time then you will surely make money.
There is risk in every investment and everyone should be ready for that risk. As long as people can understand this, they can decide to do what is pleasing to them.

After all, someone decided to sell all he has recently to buy bitcoin and saw it like buying into his future believing he will achieve hugely from it. He is using what he has to trade to live through each day and looking at what he sold, that is not going to be a small amount of money. So it depends on each individual and the level of risk they are willing to take.
6343  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Can bitcoin kill maximum alt coins? on: November 23, 2017, 01:28:04 PM
Bitcoin is still king of crypto and almost all of altcoin's price depend upon bitcoin's price so they will also fluctuate everytime when bitcoin moves a bit. Situation for altcoin get even worst when bitcoin will pump hard in very short time, people will jump back into bitcoin by selling their alts for bitcoin which will just make altcoin price to dump harder during bitcoin pump.

But not every alts get affected heavily during such pump, only few of alt might survive in future.
That is one crazy trend that we will keep seeing as time goes on which has even made me to start thinking of just abandoning alts at any slight chance I get now and concentrating more on just bitcoin to USDT trading since it seems to me to be more of a profitable way right now than having to worry so much about the value of some altcoins being affected by the bull run of bitcoin.

When we consider the core applications of cryptocurrencies then I doubt of most of the altcoins. If this is true then definitely bitcoin will kill maximum altcoins.
6344  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Mistakes in trading that lead to loss of money on: November 23, 2017, 12:54:31 PM
I loss my money in trading through letting my self and emotion ruins my plan,  i lost it because of panic in selling to it, because those coin is dumping already but at the other day,  it has been pumped again, so if i were you, try not to go with your emotion. Analyze well and look well the chart.
Once you know what you are doing, emotion should always be the last thing in your dictionary as a trader bro!
Certainly, it is not that easy and I remember I use to have some of these issues before I learned and I allowed my skills to take over my decisions than making use of my emotions.

Have a strategy before you start a trade, know when to enter, when to get out when things go wrong based on the losses you can be comfortable with and also know when to bail out when things get good without being too greedy.
6345  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: btc target on: November 23, 2017, 07:05:34 AM
Well it will take a while before we can get to $10K end of the year. segwit2x is already cancelled, the price is dropping already and we may see bitcoin below $7K this coming few days. What drove the price to new ATH is the anticipation of segwit2x, but since is has postponed already, I don't think we can continue with the bull run. Correction is already taking place and it will need a lot of investors to buy bitcoin once again to push the price to $10K at the end of the year. So it seems that $10K is achievable next year 2018.
The price has been constant on $8000 - $8300 for a while now but we cannot say yet if it is going to break lower than support or we will just keep seeing those little differences before it breaks another ATH. Definitely, market is back to normal right now and the bull run does not seem to be something to expect a lot that much, but one thing I will never do is to underestimate the surprises bitcoin always bring.

I think Btc will be 10000$ at the end of this year! Grin
As long as nothing halts its growth, I am very optimistic about this and I am pretty sure end of this year or very early next year would be some remarkable period for Bitcoin and $10,000 is just little, compared to what we will be experiencing in upcoming years.
6346  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin pricing on: November 22, 2017, 05:51:58 PM
Why the price of bitcoin is changing quite fast....Why so?

To cope up with the coming fork that could lead the price to disastrous dumps and sudden drops because all this will make a lot of confusion occur in the markets with investors and miners to be seen as referees to decide their execution over the majority issues that are currently going on. I still believe that the current Bitcoin will dominate all these "alts" that are trying to take its place.
Bitcoin will surely dominate. The fact that it has lived through ages of threat, complications, attacks, and has still been able to survive has made people and users to trust more in leaving their funds in bitcoin than any altcoin which is a good thing. The support will keep growing as well as the volume and only alts with some good relevance or real life usage will be able to thrive at the long run.
6347  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is this Forum full of 'normal people' who over the years became filthy rich? on: November 22, 2017, 03:54:01 PM
Hi there

I was thinking
Bitcoin must have created a biiig amount of new millionairs, doesn't it?
I mean people who got interested in bitcoins early, liberals, doomsday government critics, criminals and drug users who used silk road, normal poor people like me. There must be a vast amount of cracy stories of people finding themselves filthy rich.
Did you get rich? Would be very interested in stories.

Mine:
I invested about 10k in bitcoin at about 600 usd, that was about 4 years ago. Was all my money at that time, i saved it in the 6 years before that. Read some book about where to safely invest that did not mention bitcoin at all, then i saw video about bitcoin and put money there.
Then it went lower for more than a year, down to 200usd. When it finally went over 600 again, i sold 1/3rd, argh Smiley
So it's about 8x to 80k now. Great stuff, but 80k is not exactly big money. (But it's big compared to my income, it's about 8 years of my salary actually)
Stupidly i did not put my money i saved in these years into bitcoin.. i just did put it again into Bitcoin recently - i decided to go all in again. The bet is that bitcoin goes to 7k or above in next 5 years. (If it goes below 3500 i start to lose my not-yet-realised wins, if it goes to 7k i will have 200k, if it goes to 15k i will have 400k; - 200k and 400k (euros) means different amounts of financial freedom for me: of not 'having' to work to just survive, but to have income through just having money. (6% interest of 200k is 12k euros per year. I can live off that)
Nice! I guess you already have up to 200k right now. You could have been filthy rich but it was only delayed which apparently you are now. It is even very good you did not go all out when you recovered your funds back and then you were patient enough during the first huge dip back then as so many people ended up selling for losses.

Good to hear your story and I wish I have a better story except that I have been a spender at some point and savings aren’t as much as that.
6348  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Amazon accepting Bitcoin - What can go wrong? on: November 22, 2017, 02:24:01 PM
I think a high percentage of amazon customers opt for the free shipping option which can take 2+ weeks. Waiting for bitcoin to confirm, on top of a 2 week shipping time may not be that much of an inconvenience.

The "scaling problem" could be a good problem to have. One way of viewing it is: "bitcoin can't be used to buy a cup of coffee and isn't ready for a prime time, mainstream, role". The flipside of that might say that if bitcoin's network lacks the transactional volume to cover all transactions, retailers might expand their platform to include support for other crypto to fill the vacuum. One perspective is likely over-optimistic while the other is the opposite. The likely outcome could be somewhere inbetween the two.

Bitpay green lights transactions on the 1st confirmation which isn't too bad.

Amazon accepting bitcoin would be similar to an official endorsement. If the public sees amazon endorsing bitcoin while banker CEO's condemn bitcoin it will create a divide, a conflict of mainstream opinion as opposed to the typical unified front the media is often able to maintain. That could encourage the public to research and learn about crypto more rather than believe the mainstream media angle of it being a bubble, which could be a good thing even if transactions aren't instantaneous.

Let's say we skip wait-times altogether. Say nobody gives a shit (a lot of people do, though). What about the fees? The astronomical fees from say, 200k utxo in mempool? I think it could hurt bitcoin more than it would help which gets me ranting about Core's incompetence.
Llo, the fees would really be the major issue at the end and people will end up just sticking to their normal traditional system than having to make use of the digital currency. Something really needs to be done and done fast and there is no way we can run from it because at one point or the other, we will still have to experience this.

This would really hurt just like you have said and will make people to start pulling to some other alts that would give them a better chance of the real life usage.
6349  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Supermarket Accept Bitcoin on: November 22, 2017, 01:45:15 PM
I don't see a single one yet. Crypto is stii unknown to most of the people here in my country. I only know online stores accept btc but I think supermarkets will follow sooner.
This is a general case almost everywhere except for some top countries or those countries like Japan who have legalized and regulating it presently. It has really generated a wide usage for the cryptocurrency by creating huge awareness. There is so much the governments have to gain here and instead of attacking it, it can be a win-win situation for both the governments and the users of bitcoin at the end.
6350  Economy / Economics / Re: Turkish Central Bank President: “Cryptocurrencies May Contribute to Financial on: November 22, 2017, 08:22:47 AM
I love how these central banks are making statements like oh ya we're looking into it when the fact remains that they have NO clue what they're talking about or what they're getting into. They were warned and had many times to research it, but everyone in positions of power ignored it because they thought there was no possible way that it could be where it is today.
That is really where the problem lies for most of them now. They underestimated the fact that bitcoin would get to the stage at which it is today and now stories are changing gradually.
I am sure most of these countries and CBNs would be regretting the fact that they ignored the digital currency rather than looking more into it and they even ignorantly dropped their support. Hopefully, they will start getting to realize what they have missed or what they will be missing.
6351  Economy / Economics / Re: Regulating Bitcoin on: November 22, 2017, 07:32:48 AM
There would be a trade-off between regulation and anonymity. We will probably lose the latter (which is the selling point of cryptocurrencies) since the very notion of regulation is tightening the freedom bitcoin offers. I personally can think of a way of regulating it without jeopardizing anonymity but would I would probably support it if they can come up with a good approach.
Can we even really say bitcoin is not anonymous when I can easily trace any transaction in a wallet except if a mixing service is used ?

Except for those who may want to do some evil act, anonymity should not really be a thing of issue. Moreover, before you make use of most exchanges these days without being limited to the amount you can withdraw at once, you will have to get verified.

So, these are some of the things we will keep seeing in most countries as times go on, most especially those who may like to convert to fiat. I can still stay anonymous if I decide to do a direct P2P transaction to whomever I am purchasing something from.
6352  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BTC or BCH??? on: November 21, 2017, 07:09:57 PM
Quite confusing!😂 Witch one is really the best investment!?😂

i think BTC is the best investment from the other altcoin
because BTC more people in world know it
i also think btc is the best investment. with the great potential of bitcoin will make the people who invest there provide a lot of benefits
I really wonder why anyone will even find it confusing. BCH is not even a coin anyone should even be thinking to have a huge prospect in the long run. Sure, we cannot predict the future, but comparing BCH with BTC is like comparing Volks with Lambo. Come on! I even wonder why people would think BCH is a competition in the first place to be able to fall for the idea of trying to invest in it.
6353  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: IOTA is the next big thing on: November 21, 2017, 06:37:27 PM
So what is your longterm price target x30 or about $30usd?
Can someone really say ? Only the future can really tell if it would ever get up to that or not but there are huge chances for the coin anyway. Every coin have a chance to grow more than they are presently as long as they have a solid team and a good project backing which I believe IOTA is not exempted. So, there should still be great chances for this coin in the long run.
6354  Economy / Speculation / Re: Are we already rich, gentleman? on: November 20, 2017, 05:50:08 AM
I feel pretty rich right now. And this is the result of patience persisting in cryptoworld wave that some time ago had weakened. Now, with good value bitcoin, many people are excited about having won rewards of their struggle. We all want a better financial condition.
Hmm. Patience is always a great virtue to have in this ecosystem. Just in this year alone, we have already had more than 8x in value and that is enough for anyone who went in big earlier this year to be a lot bigger by now. I am really trying to imagine what next year is going to be like and by then I may probably decide if I am rich already or not.

Price has to at least double for me.
Well, double would really be good but I am really looking at the price being quadruple or even more than that at this stage to be able to say yes, I am more than rich. It totally depends on each person though and their idea of being rich, but I actually know what I want and how wealthy I really want to be to be able to classify myself as rich.
6355  Economy / Speculation / Re: I do not have the guts to buy bitcoins now. on: November 20, 2017, 05:11:48 AM
i think btc now changing world.  bitcoin price pumping  and  bitcoin price is already pump upto 7k$  and i just like to seeing it. bitcoin totally  change my life style . so people should use bitcoin for change their life. so i think its good time to investment now cause i think now its time to pumping
No doubt bitcoin has created so many elites today and will even create much more for those who have the guts to be a part of holding some of it unlike the OP.

After all, someone already suggested it on the thread to earn as there are so many opportunities to earn as much as one can. Bitcoin is really not going to wait for anyone in the coming years and trying to build guts or if possible find somewhere to buy or borrow those guts to buy right now is the best to do.
6356  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Don't Spend Too Much Time Trading? is that true? on: November 19, 2017, 06:57:21 AM
Yes that true, because when we spend too much time in trading we will be greedy and will be emotional in trading because we felt  tired. Keep focus but not over trading is much better so we can keep emotional. Keep psikilogis in trading is most important to get consistent profit than skill about technical analysis.
I think otherwise. In my opinion, you’ll only be able to learn something good and that too in the world of trading if you are spending some good period of time in learning the things related to that of trading. You have to spend a major portion of your time if you want to become an expert in trading. There is no other way of becoming an expert than to learn as many things as you can.
Bro, there is always a limit to everything.
Have you ever picked a book to read and then over time and after a very long read, you noticed that you are reading the same line over and over again ?

No matter how smart we may think we are, the brain usually need rest and even when you want to spend some good time trying to trade so as to learn well, it should still be minimal otherwise, you will be making wrong decisions and mistakes.
6357  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Where/how to buy BTC on: November 19, 2017, 06:07:26 AM
Everybody's experience will be different from time to time when you deal with bitcoin service provider. I have been using coinbase for many years and I do not have any problem with them. You can also meet people one on one to trading  bitcoin USD. But you must learn how to do this kind of trading. All the resource you will ever need is on bitcointalk.

I get that forums posts are based on personal experiences/opinions and I do appreciate your answer. I will definitely read a bit more before I put any $$$.
That is really very necessary bro. Everyone have their preferences based on what they have experienced and most people may not even have experienced anyone as they have never bought before but earned, but for the sake of signature campaign would want to drop something.

Better you do your due diligence, but if you prefer a P2P platform with a very good support and a well laid out escrow, I will recommend you to try remitano just that you may be lucky to see sellers sometimes as they are not always much.

I wonder why people in the US do not use the platform that much compared to some other countries.
6358  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: job and trading together.. on: November 19, 2017, 04:09:31 AM
I think You can do both simultaneously. I don't see any problem. You can work in the daytime and trade at night.
How do you want to fix time for rest ? After working in daytime, you will realize that your brain will have very little function to make good decisions on your trade. My point is, you have to weigh the timing to know the strategies you want to include in your trading or in your job.

If it is a job that does not require much time and you have mostly free days to yourself while getting paid, then day trading or short trading can still work. However, for a job that would take most of your time, long term trading is just the best. You just have to find that balance.
6359  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: WHEN IS THE BEST TIME TO PURCHASE BITCOIN? on: November 19, 2017, 03:32:22 AM
First best time: Couple of years ago
Second best time: Right now.

hehe, good one!  But still I will wait another 24h to buy Smiley

The opportunity to get btc very cheap is right now because the price is dropping very fast. I think it can really go down to $6000. This should be the perfect time, just wait till it drops to $6000 and buy as much as you can because it will take months again before we can see this perfect opportunity. But then again, if there is a good buying point, I don't have money to buy though, Too bad.  Sad
Too bad you did not have money to buy. Definitely, the value dropped 12th of November a day after you dropped this statement and that absolutely was a good call. I remember I was even late to the show and I bought at $5700.

Although, most people do not really have the idea of reading charts to expect some outcomes for them to be able to take advantage of it and with that, I would rather say they buy at any point because they would definitely not miss out.
6360  Economy / Speculation / Re: A word to the wise on: November 18, 2017, 07:43:57 PM
HODL tight! As soon as off-chain scaling gets implemented and Bitcoin futures start trading on CME, big daddy is going to the moon! Cream always rises to the top. If you fold, too bad. Don't say you weren't warned.

Bigger and better things are stored for people who will have a strong faith on Bitcoin as it is not the time to jump the ship. It is the time to hold and people who bought Bitcoin at its latest dip are so lucky as we are now back into the action. Nobody can stop Bitcoin now...China failed to stop the avalanche how can we ever think that an offshoot coin will be the one to harassed Bitcoin?
Anyone who does not have faith right now is even going to end up making a lot of terrible mistakes at the end. The action will definitely never stop and the good thing is that it always gives those who miss previous chance some little more chance to quickly hop into the trading before we hit the next destination.

Bitcoin has experienced huge attack this year and still remains unshakeable and i totally agree with you that some offshoot coin Grin most definitely cannot pester bitcoin.
