6381  Economy / Services / Re: 🚀[Signature Campaign] 🚀LEGOLAS Exchange 200 Members Required | [CFNP] on: January 17, 2018, 11:35:39 AM

Let's give them 2 more hours. 12 hours (as per Wapinter's last post) haven't yet passed.

Then yes, let's put some warning in their ANN thread and leave appropriate trust feedback to the OP of that thread:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;u=103068

I post in the forums because i want to get involved with conversations and to
voice my opinions on various topics, not because i am getting paid!

for me the signature rewards are a bonus and makes me actually think before
I post, the quality of posting will always be better, the campaigns makes us better.

I will be waiting to see if payment arrives. There is potentially a long way to go in
the campaign and I would like to continue on. I trust Wapinter.

EDIT ::::::::::::::::::::::::

Update :Good news guys,Legolas team has asked me to find a good escrow with minimum fee.I am searching for the one who is online

Good news, you should be able to find them in the services section
6382  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Best crypto to buy now in the CRASH?! on: January 16, 2018, 08:39:49 PM
Hard question to answer but i would back anything which was
in the top 20 prior to the mess. I would go for Eth, Etc, Ltc, Qtum,
Neo, Omg and Nem for instance.

In a situation like todays episode diversification doesnt really matter
Because everything has suffered but when we start seeing green
Again a good spread might be beneficial.
6383  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A ban on trade in China on: January 16, 2018, 01:46:44 PM
They're coming hard for peer-to-peer platforms, such as LocalBitcoins. It is sad to be honest to look at these attempts.

From what i believe people are still using crypto currencies even though there is a clampdown.
Crypto cannot be stopped, people will always find a way to avoid rules and regulations.
It looks today like the news coming out of s.korea and this china news is clearing out the people
Who have no faith in the resilience of crypto.
6384  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Wtf is happening today for all altcoins?! on: January 16, 2018, 09:16:15 AM
Oh man its a bloodbath in the markets in the space of 120 minutes since
I last checked. People are panic selling leaving some nice prices for those
who see an opportunity for cheap coinage.

This is all because of the south korean government issuing an outright ban
on crypto, which still wont mean the people wont be able to get crypto.

6385  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-01-13] Why is South Korea spooking the global bitcoin market? on: January 16, 2018, 07:09:26 AM
Here is an article from google newsstand
 https://newsstand.google.com/articles/CAIiEGg32sXw2KMEgdJ35RCSAY0qGQgEKhAIACoHCAow9935CjCe0eYCMObkzAU
The headline suggests that Bitcoin and Ethereum have plumeted  Roll Eyes as s.korea decides on a complete shut down.....
We have seen this before with china and we have seen tge panic
selling too. I still dont know how actually a ciuntry can prevent
its cutizens from having crypto, am i nieve?
6386  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Two Pump-and-Dump Cryptocurrencies You Should Avoid in 2018 on: January 15, 2018, 03:07:15 PM
your are not wrong with your statement but why are you limiting
your thread topic to "2" when you could/should multiply it by 100
or even 200. I mean any coin is open to pump and dump apart from
the higher priced coins like Ethereum.

Have you been to the Service announcements board on this forum?
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=197.0

We have lots and lots of pump and dump groups offering their services
so investing in any alt coin is risky because if the value of a particular
coin rises how do we know whether its a normal rise due to news and
developments or is it pumping?

furthermore how can we tell if it is rising due to normal news and
developments and also being pumped so the rise is actually not
normal?

there is a lot of manipulation.
6387  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: ICO Signature Campaigns - Results and Benefits on: January 15, 2018, 10:40:12 AM
of course signature campaigns are beneficial.
not everyone visits all of the sites boards and threads and
in the announcements and bounties sections they are fast
moving boards so its hard to keep up with what is happening
there so the signatures are a great way to advertise and
market new projects that may otherwise get lost in the boards.

And the bigger the signature campaign the more visibility it will get.
6388  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: NVIDIA announces partnership with CAPPASITY $CAPP on: January 15, 2018, 09:56:01 AM
my interest in this thread was piqued by the Nvidia name.
if the op was giving people the heads up on this coin
there should have been more links to the project.

I will be doing further research on this before I get involved.
Check out their blog > https://blog.artoken.io/
6389  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Augur - a decentralized prediction market platform on: January 15, 2018, 09:44:23 AM
With all the talk about recent ICO's and "Which ICO's for 2018?"
"top 3 ICO's for 2018" etc. etc. There is not much talk about
Augur which as above has had a spike in activity on coinmarketcap
and is continuing this activity today.

Actually I never see it been mentioned here on BCT and no reply in
5 days on this thread?

So maybe the newbies need to be informed about this "old" currency.

Circulating supply 11,000,000
Market cap over $1bn
Can be traded on almost every exchange you will need, Bittrex, Poloniex, Kraken, Hitbtc, Cryptopia
6390  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Gold (BTG) on: January 14, 2018, 11:41:01 AM
This current move is great. I don't know much about BTG I just
inherited coins at the fork, so I don't know yet what is driving them
Current rise in price.

Unlike what I did with the previous bitcoin fork coins, selling BCH
at $950 I will be holding as BTG gains popularity.
6391  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Sia - Decentralized Storage on: January 14, 2018, 11:14:41 AM
Hi friend

Please advise back for this coin SIA (SC) is it will be touch 1 USD very soon ?  is possible ?

Thank

Few days ago i bought sia for 600+ satoshi in believe that coin can rise to 0.15 to 0.20 cents.
In December i bought cardano for 4 cents and sell it for 12 when its falling from 13 cents to 10. Next week cardano rise to 0.20 cents and still growing up.
I expected some similar sytuation to Sia[Suspicious link removed]d technology, low price.
Next week we got hardfork maybe price goes up, but we dont have binance...Question is did bitrex and poloniex can rise this coin to 1k satoshi..

As I mentioned before on this thread, I am a long term holder of Sia.
long term holding is best for Sia because it's a developing technology
With potential. The developers are active and more and more people
are getting interested. Just buy and hold, don't be worried about what
price it's going to be tomorrow, next week or next month.
6392  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: WHATS HAPPENING !!!! on: January 12, 2018, 10:07:21 AM
It winds me up that any negative or partially negative news coming out of North East Asia has such a detrimental impact. We need to nurture strong hands, we'll never get to a trillion dollars if we continue like this.

i agree, we see a bit of news which is over hyped by the media
because they like to give bitcoin and crypto a good kicking at
any opportunity they can.

I used to get really peed off watching the price drop after some
news article last year but now I look at it as a "CRYPTO SALE"
and a good time to top up my holdings!
6393  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Token economics on: January 12, 2018, 09:47:01 AM
I have been going through dozens of ICO's with shitty token economics that makes nonsense sometimes.

What can drive or make the token economics better? What should  the business model have?

real world blockchain solutions to disrupt traditional business!
just like what Storj and SIA are proposing to do for example.

Dont forget our community is centered around decentralised
and unregulated blockchains, exactly what Satoshi Nakamoto
proposed with Bitcoin.

What goes hand in hand with the business model of a particular
project is adoption. without anyone using the proposed crypto
its not going to go anywhere.

I have mentioned it before but there is too much emphasis on
buying ico tokens purely to cash in once it goes live on an exchange.

What make a project successful long term isnt the price of the
token on coinmarketcap, its useage!
6394  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-1-11] South Korea plans to ban Bitcoin - BBC on: January 11, 2018, 04:16:09 PM
...wow that's sad. I never thought South Korea would take the China route, especially with the news that they were cooperating with Japan and China for regulations. This is a huge blow given how South Korea is one of the biggest crypto markets. Then again, China was too, and we survived that. This is probably going to cause less of an impact than that.

What's unclear though, is whether or not this is permanent. They raided exchanges for tax evasion, so they may just want to curb the growth while they form tax plans and the like.

this is a bit of a bolt from the blue so to speak.
I was of the understanding also that s.korea were looking forward positively?
to regulating the crypto industry like Japan and Australia and China.

Is this another lets kick bitcoin in the stomach while its down news story as always?
this may not be a permanent action, lets hope not?
6395  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which industry are you investing most? on: January 11, 2018, 03:41:05 PM
I'd like to hear everyone's opinion on the projects they are investing in. Like I am mostly interested in green projects, since world will be needing green and sustainable projects in coming years. What is your pick?

I would love to hear the Green projects you are looking at!

I am interested in the cloud storage industry primarily with SIAcoin
also interested in "the internet of things" with IOTA.
I think both are very revolutionary fields and particularily with the
IoT it is only really getting started now.

I am also interested in space, spaceX and "the trip to Mars" although
I'm not sure yet where the Blockchain technology fits in with this yet  Huh
6396  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which coins are you hodling for 2018? on: January 11, 2018, 11:14:33 AM
If I were to choose which coins I am going to #HODL for 2018, here are the following:

*Electroneum (will mine a lot of ETNs once the mobile miner is officially launched)
*Tron (will plan to buy more because I feel that the current numbers in my portfolio aren't good enough yet)
*Dogecoin (because I believe it will fly due to the year of the dog despite developers are inactive)
*LoyalCoin (still under ICO but I'm planning to buy more and #HODL them for a long while)
*SiaCoin (haven't bought yet, but I'm having plans to buy and hold them)
*Digitex (they're dubbing this as the next Electroneum, so I'm all in)

I am not sure regarding the others, but I'm mixing the short and long-term coins that I'm going to #HODL for long.
Εlectroneum is indeed very promising, I am waiting for it to be listed on normal exchanges where I could just transfer some money into it. I don't like dealing with new exchanges. Doge is still good, but I think it will inevitably die slowly.
As for me, I am holding blackmoon (already have 3x profit, but I'm not sure whether it's the right time to sell), litecoin, ripple (I bought it rather high and now my investment is down, but I believe eventually ripple will bring me good money) and iota (my favourite coin of all, strongly believe it will show its power to the world).

Yes I am looking at Electroneum also but would like to do it through
Bittrex or Poloniex. it seems a very promising project indeed.

I am also holding [for a long time now] SIA, Such a great project which
is actually working and also some interesting developments coming in
2018 so it could be a good year for SIA.

PAY is another I am holding. I believe in this project and to be honest
other CARD projects as a means of using BITCOIN and possible other
alts.

and of course Litecoin is a big fav of mine  Grin
6397  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Turning my 50 USD into 25,000 USD? on: January 11, 2018, 10:29:12 AM
you know what, I think this is possible!

BUT

Its going to take dedication, time and timing!
You will have to keep a look out on news articles etc.
to see what is happening in the markets and make your
plays and you may have to take big chances here and there.

Its intriguing and would be nice to find out the progress.

Best of luck!
6398  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: [HAVE] $45 Paypal [WANT] LTC (1:1) on: January 10, 2018, 05:42:29 PM
HI Magnavox,

I would be interested in your request/offer
I have +5 trust and have used this board before!

PM sent
6399  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Eth is pumping incredibly, Should I sell or hold tight? on: January 10, 2018, 04:36:45 PM
well for me i dont trade coins i just hold unless I have to liquidate to fiat
but otherwise i dont sell high buy low because i would never be sure when
to actually do that and never had the time to really study the markets.

I have learned from past experiences selling when I think the price is high
and then it just keeps going up  Huh

as suggested above if you dont need the funds, just hold
6400  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Legolas Exchange, fair, secure and realistic exchange on: January 10, 2018, 10:59:38 AM
Which crypto will be on your exchange?

I was thinking this myself, it would be interesting to know what
the plans are as regards currencies and tokens.

Are the plans to be similar to GDAX with 3 trading pairs, Bitcoin,
Ethereum and Litecoin.
or is there plans for a more extensive array of crypto?
