It is taking rather long, maybe the best solution is to change the algo and do the swap as bitnod suggests, to something that is more likely to get accepted by the exchanges. It would also be a chance to get more people on board, create a larger community. I know the concept is not about profit but the more people involved the better. We could have airdrops and bounties to help spread the word on social media. Bitnod obviously knows his stuff and could help out the dev, it is too much work for such a small team. It is possible to make a big splash with the right incentives.

What are you talking about? All the information is in the bounty thread and the bounty manager has responded several times already, you will get it once the security issues are fixed and the project/wallet is available. The first post of the bounty thread tells you everything you need to know.

I totally agree with this, mistakes and problems can happen in any project, especially at launch. Even bitcoin still has it's fair share of issues every now and again. We all have to be patient and give them time to remedy the security situation. Negativity is not going to make the process any faster. We just have to wait and see how it all turns out. I have expectations that it will do well throughout 2018, fingers crossed.

It is possible that it could be pumped in the future, I have seen many long dead coins inexplicably rise in volume and value before dying off and sinking back into insignificance. If you have some, may as well hold on, just in case.

No, it was only the Linux wallet available at the start so it was not easy for everyone to use. Later we had the windows client and finally the GUI wallet. I was mining from the start and this is not true.

This is really good news, no wonder its taking off on the exchange! Volume rising fast. New updates on the website too, the first ICO on their platform. Glad I have managed to amass a tidy number of Mothership tokens while it has been going so crazy cheap. This is a fantastic project and it has a bright future through 2018.

I don't believe a new exchange will have the effect some people are expecting. Yes it's great to have more volume and more options for trading, but it's not a proven way of raising the value. It's news we need, further project development. This is what adds  long-term value. I do expect the value to come out of its current low, just not go to the moon lol.

That's mainly the reason why the price is currently going down, people recently bought DBIX just because of the new exchange news, the price spiked a bit.  They were hoping for a quick pump and a fast profit. When Hitbtc didn't happen, they dumped.

It would be nice if it went up purely because of Hitbtc listing DBIX  though, you never know. I personally don't expect anything crazy to happen yet. Waiting for the new website, new development news and hopefully a good 2018.

Thanks for updating us. It's definitely the wise thing to do, all these recent hacks on other projects, wallets and even pools is not good at all for the Crypto market. It's very important to protect the investor funding.

Allowing anyone in the know to help with testing and security,  can only be good for the project and indeed the market in general.  We don't want to add to the growing concern about the safety of cryptocurrency investment, especially when it comes to ICO's.

Does this mean the bounty duration will be extended, or will it still end sometime in December? I believe in the project, and I hope it goes well.

How absurd, of course it is not. Have you not been following the markets for the past few months? Almost all alts in general have seen either huge declines or stagnation. It is normal for a project to stall in terms of trading and value when waiting for the next bit of news or development. Hitbtc not listing in time did not help, some only bought in recently hoping for a quick pump.

There is so much to come and it is still a relatively young project, it has a great team and the price...for how things are right now is very good. It should see gains upon further news, and also as the market gets back to normal after the China drama, bitcoin forks and the recent BTC bullrun comes to an end.

Going to hell...lol. I think your crystal ball may be broken. Anything can happen, but I don't believe it will do badly, only better throughout 2018.

Hi Everyone!

Firstly, don't panic - your ETN Coins are safe!

To say we've had a rocky start is something of an understatement, but I'd like to make sure everyone understands what is going on!

As you'll probably be aware, when we launched there were hundreds of user's accounts that had been compromised. I need to re-iterate that Electroneum WAS NOT HACKED. Hundreds of user's accounts had been accessed because their email accounts had been hacked OR they had signed up to Electroneum using an email and password combination that had been hacked from ELSEWHERE (e.g. Yahoo hack, Dropbox hack, Linkedin hack etc.). We shut down our system before any transfers took place to ensure that we do everything in our power to ensure the safety and security of our user's Electroneum coins.

We realized the huge amount of effort that was being put into attacking our system – so we stayed offline to add a huge amount of additional security and then engaged HackerOne, who work for the US Department of Defence, Uber, Spotify etc. They are currently working with our system on a closed, private, “challenge” to try and penetrate it. So far, HackerOne have NOT successfully penetrated our system security. Obviously we will be very pleased if they don't manage to gain any access during the challenge, but if they do, they will work with us to ensure any vulnerability found is removed.

We are not wasting our time whilst this challenge has been carried out. Software is never finished! Think about Microsoft Word or Microsoft Windows. Barely a year goes past without some sort of incremental update to the user interface and functionality, and these are very mature items of software. We have loads of items on our road map that we are coding, so when we go live, it's with a more polished app, that has a more friendly user experience. As well as improving the software I have personally been pursuing some commercial relationships so we can get some firm agreements in place as soon as we can after launch. I have had some very promising exchanges in the mobile phone (cell phone) industry. We have a number that we are pursuing, but one that is very keen to meet with us, has over 50m active monthly subscribers in the developing world. We've always believed that our mobile miner could offset people's phone costs, but we didn't realise how interested the airtime providers themselves would be in our technology.

I'm very sorry that we've had this delay after our November 1st aborted launch. Whilst the delay will be just over a month and take the NEW launch into the first or second week of December, I'd like everyone to remember that this is just a delay, and it's adding LOADS of security to the product. A worthy delay in most people's opinion. Most ICO or crowdfunding events are to raise the funds to build a product with no specific launch date. I'm sorry I missed our November launch date, but remember I had funded the development of the product before launch and we were raising funds to grow it and take it to a wider audience, faster, with a huge marketing budget. The software app is now better tested and developed than ever before, and the additional layers of security that have been added, along with the testing from HackerOne will make our commercial partnerships easier to secure.

Electroneum is STILL the most exciting, and awesome project I've ever been involved with - and when it re-launches next month, it has even MORE chance of changing the way the world sees and uses cryptocurrency.

I did watch the video and I was racing in second place but I can't have my CPU running 100% until Dec 5th, I was wondering if we can stop and still be in the list, or if we have to keep going.

What is all this CPU hash power mining? It is surely mining something. That is a lot of power if you have 1000 participants or more mining for you. I would not mind if it was just for a few hours, 2 weeks is too much for me. Thanks.
