Such chutzpah!

The Bitcoin Store (http://bitcoinstore.yyz.us/) accepts multiple currencies in payment, and gives out bitcoins.

The Bitcoin Store has closed.  It was a fun experiment, but only had four or five customers in its lifetime.

Bitcoin Market v2 and mtgox, once mtgox's withdrawal situation is sorted, should be suitable as instant exchange sites.  One only hopes they add market orders in addition to the current limit orders that both support.  (Yes, you can make a limit order effectively a market order, but that's the point of a market order: you shouldn't have to)

I'm sorry I did not take the time to mess around with your site before you quit.

Sometimes it takes a while for people to come around.

$1000 USD Paypal

Oh sorry, Bitcoin only.

http://btco.in/2s is a gold calculator for scrap gold, based on the carats. 18k in the US is typically 75% pure, meaning the .750 should be it's purity. Can you do some tests for us to insure it is gold and not a chinese fake?

Time frame... you're the auctioneer, set it how you would like, but it would be nice to have some idea, even if it is block 90,000 that's better than an open ended, I'll end it when it's high enough.

>18k in the US is typically 75% pure

And not in the US is just sea monsters like those old maps.

I'll buy a chair near the lake for 100 BTC!
646  Economy / Marketplace / Re: paypal dropped mtgox on: October 27, 2010, 12:39:21 PM

That's a great rate.

It seems to me that when I put in the amount of LR I want to trade it should calculate the number of bitcoins I will receive and not a number of dollars. Even on the preview page it has dollars and not the number of bitcoins.

Noted. I'll change the presentation. Bitcoin is different from the other digital currencies.

COFFEE!!

A very special coffee picked in the rain forest of Western Mexico, roasted in Arizona and shipped out by mail.

The big difference with this coffee is in the processing. The berries never get wet unlike commercial scale operations that float the beans and de-pulp with pressure water. These cherries are dried first to preserve the flavorful oils and caffeine, then the pulp is then mechanically threshed off.

The difference is incredible! I thought I was a coffee snob but until I tried dry processed beans, I did not know coffee from Shinola!

2 lbs. for 400 BTC to your door, no extra fees.

You can have light, medium or dark roast. I urge you to not pass over the light. Most people have never tasted anything like it. It's naturally sweet and fruity. You are getting 2 bags, so try 2 different roasts if you like. A favourite of mine is light and dark blended half and half.

Dry processing costs more due to the increased labour. For me, the higher than average price is justified by the far superior product.

The producer, a friend of mine, wants you to know that he pays his workers better than average wages and he never pollutes the streams or cuts the forest.

There is no website. If you want this coffee, use this contact form. I'll generate a BTC address for you to spend to and you can tell me your mailing address.

I guarantee your satisfaction in good time or I'll personally refund your BTC. This is the good stuff - that crisp clear mental boost that programmers crave!

Ok I've given up the search and started integrating Liberty Reserve.
You can now add payments with LR.
I'm doing withdrawals manually for now.
ExchangeZone.com seems the best place to buy and sell LR since you can do it with out the crazy commission the other exchangers charge.
Please email me if you have issues.

Be careful. ExchangeZone is rife with scammers.

That's what years of experience can teach.

That and what it costs to maintain inventories and mitigate fraud.

You see, for you guys, bitcoin is a nerdish hobby. People serious about digital currency pay exchange commissions because it's worth it.

Both you and BCM were warned long ago about the risks you were taking. I even warned you both last year that your market data would become skewed from the fraud.

I can't even use Mt Gox data because it's so far out to lunch.

Now look at these numbers. Do you still think it's too expensive to deal with a real exchange company?

Code:
BitcoinMarket
  Pecunix           :      0.0901
  PayPal            :      0.1500
  Liberty Reserve   :      0.1000

Mt Gox
  PayPal            :      0.16

Link2Voip
  Phone credit      :      0.15015

Nanaimo Gold buys   :      0.0901
Nanaimo Gold sells  :      0.1037

Hawala used to be set up entirely on trust, usually through families.

Today settlement can be immediate through bullion banks like GoldMoney or Anglo Far East.

The idea that the collective US tyrant can outlaw hawala shows what they don't know.

How much Paypal is frozen? Do we know the extent of the chargebacks yet?

The exchange rate at Mt gox is too screwy for me to even use in calculations.

All the currency values are presented on the forms as USD equivalents.

The rates of exchange are shown.

Expect some layout changes as I work out the presentation.

660  Economy / Economics / Re: Who's going to make out like a bandit... on: October 10, 2010, 08:30:39 PM
"Make out" meant get away long before the sexual connotation.

Make your way out = get away.

The actual expression is _made_ out like a bandit. It makes better sense in past tense.

cheers!
