Yes, I have one on poloniex, but i still don't know how to get/send xem into my wallet(( I don't know what you've done so far so let me begin from scratch: - Go to nem.io and download the most recent version of NEM software here: http://nem.io/install.html
- Istall it and everything is ok you should see the wallet (NCC) apear in your browser tab
- Create wallet - name of the wallet should not contain spaces or dots; also please choose a strong passwor (at least 12 characters)
- Once logged in your wallet you should see your address on the left side which you can use to accept XEM
- Please make sure you make a backup of your wallet files

To do that go to https://poloniex.com/balances and find your XEM balance. Click on Withdraw XEM and your XEM should be visible very shortly in your wallet! I have one more question, What if had about 20k of XEM, how many time i need to get them on vested balnce(10k) and to start harvesting? The vesting is happening at the rate of 10% per day. So if you transfer 20K today, tomorrow you will have 2K vested, day after tomorrow it will be 4K vested etc... I don't think that's how it works. I think only the not vested balance is taken into account and therefore the 10% are smaller than before. Day 1 it's 10% of 20000 Day 2 it's 10% of (20000 - vested from day 1) ... So I'm guessing it'll take about a week before you're able to harvest with a balance of 20k. /edit: Quickly whiped out some python and if I haven't fucked up this is what it should be like (don't count on it though...it's early) day 1: 2000 vested out of 20000 day 2: 3800 vested out of 20000 day 3: 5420 vested out of 20000 day 4: 6878 vested out of 20000 day 5: 8190 vested out of 20000 day 6: 9371 vested out of 20000 day 7: 10433 vested out of 20000 |

I have bought some XEM (more than 10k) and sent it to my wallet. Opened wallet on local machine and I still can't start local harvesting. It still claims I have too few XEMs. Also "Importance of account to the NEM cloud" is still 0%. What is the problem?
It takes time for your XEM to get vested. You need 10k vested XEM before you can start harvesting. Each day 10% of your XEM will get vested. Does my wallet need to be open all that time? Nope. |

Can't enter my wallet, after I enter my passphrase it doesn't open it. Just stays at the same page;
When I hover over the shield on the taskbar it says;
NIS is running (local node not booted), NCC is running.
What does that mean?
I'm guessing you have a space or a dot in the name of your wallet. That's what usually causes this behaviour. There's already a ticket open to validate the wallet name on creation. |

Sorry if its covered here in previous posts. But I didn't catch those for some time. Just to be clear, To 'Start Local Harvesting' I need 10,000 (Ten Thousand) Vested XEM Balance or 1000 (One Thousand) Vested XEM Balance ?? I have more than 1900+ Vested XEM Balance, and getting: ERROR 700
The provided account does not satisfy the basic criteria for harvesting. Mainly it is related to the amount of XEM within the account. Harvesting starts with at least 1000 XEM. If it's 10,000 Vested XEM, can I have a link to bug submission link? If it's 10,000 I see it not corrected in the latest 0.6.28 update. When are we expecting it to be corrected? It's 10 000 and the typo has been reported for a bit I think. Dunno why it hasn't been fixed. |

How come my harvest amount goes down? but it's showed it harvested certain amount. then I check back again later it's less but the harvested amount is still there
I'm guessing because part of your harvested amount isn't within the last 25 blocks anymore which is where the displayed amount is calculated from. |

People hate banks for the profits they make off us but I guess it's ok for exchanges. Well, this is a problem. Many people send to Poloniex and increase her PoI. Already at 10%, no way to avoid this, ok? it is possible attack the network with a significant amount of PoI? no, that's not simple. boot, connect... fine for you and me, not for everyone. the average person won't "boot and connect to any NIS", believe me. You don't need to boot or connect. You start NCC, enter your password and are done. Ready to go. Obviously you need to configure it once but that doesn't have to stay that way. |

Well, for example, i used to keep all my XMR on Polo until web wallet came out... I guess there are reasons to keep coins on exchanges out of convinience, not just trading, it serves as a multi-wallet... I don't understand that. I mean okay, appearantly it is indeed a use case but I don't understand why anyone would do it. It's like putting your money at risk for a little bit of convenience. It's pretty much like running around with all your money in cash in your wallet all the time just so you don't have to go to an atm. Makes no sense imho. |

Can you please come over to the official forum? It is easier to help there... It could be several things. Have you used delegated harvesting on a remote node perhaps? Yep I have delegated harvesting on a remote node...problem is that my wallet wont even open now so I cannot change my settings. You can change settings on the landing page as well. Look to the upper right. Thanks in now...was freaking out before!  Will post my questions on the main forum in the future. Could you please share a link to that forum? I am still having the same problem: Unable to open my wallet! It is here: https://forum.ournem.com/Try going to setting on the front page and changing your host to: localhost leave the port as 7890 See screenshot below: I have already tried that, as well as "autoboot" The browser shows this message: "NIS needs to be booted. Please open your wallet and boot a local node via the popup dialog or configure the auto-boot setting. (at block 27249)" But I am unable to open my wallet. The browser seems to ignore the password, since the output log show this: "Http Status Code 400: expected value for property password, but none was found (org.nem.core.connect.ErrorResponse <init>)" Any chance youhave spaces or dots in your wallet name ? |

Since this latest upgrade I can't access my wallet anymore  Any help please? Even though it says NIS and NIC is running it will not let me open my wallet. The NCC will not work...  Any chance you're connected to a remote NIS and that NIS isn't available anymore ? In that case it won't help much if your local NIS is running. Also nice that "it's not working right now for you" is translated into "stops working all the time". Like Toma said though...it'll be easier to help you on the official forum |

Of course it's possible to attack the network if you have a higher POI score then the rest of the harvesters combined. I mean I'm not a dev but I don't see why this would be different for POI than for POS, PoW or any other system. |

Lol. As long as cryptos have adoption similar to hddvd we're good. Also it seems to "only" be pruning of messages. Wonder how much that'll even do. Is the NXT blockchain so bloated with messages ? I think apps like InstantDEX use messages. These aren't "G'day mate, howz it hangin?" type messages lol I'm aware that it's not only about user messages but also about AMs from services. My question still stands. It's also only a question not an attack or belittleing NXTs improvement. |
