Small donation shipped. Best of luck with the move! Let us know how you get on.
Received, thank you very much! Maybe I can meet fellow bitcoiners along the way and exchange coins for gas/food/etc? I know it has been done but I'd be willing to document my trip with photos/videos.

If you play poker, you can head on over to Biloxi every weekend. If you do, tell the deals Bruno says hey.
Not much of a gambler but I have worked in a casino before so that's something to look into, thanks Phinnaeus

when are you leaving for your trip?
Not sure yet, my friend is working on the details on his end. I'm hoping by the beginning of November.

So the economy here in the part of upstate NY I live in is abysmal to put it nicely. Nobody has any damn money, any good paying jobs are over 1 hour away and the cost of living is extremely high there. I have a friend who lives in Mobile, AL who wants me to move down there. He'll house me and help me find work until I'm able to stand on my own 2 feet.

Is there any member of this forum who lives near there that could give me some info on the local economy?

side note- there has to be a way to monetize this trip...hmmmmm....
645  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: PPcoin: Are there many people mining for PPC? on: October 15, 2012, 01:44:13 PM
I don't mine full time but I have it set as my backup on 3 of my rigs so when I do mine I throw 2 GH/s at it.

655  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: 5830s on Windows XP - What drivers? on: October 06, 2012, 11:43:47 PM
I saw another thread (can't find it right now) where someone suggested using catalyst 11.12 or 11.4. Something about sdk 2.6 doesn't support XP so people were reporting success with using drivers that included sdk 2.1

Hope this helps!

EDIT: found thread, it's about a 5870 but info is still relevant

656  Economy / Services / juggalodarkclow's iPhone Unlocking Service on: October 06, 2012, 07:56:52 PM
Since the iPhone 5 has come out I've seen a ton of people selling their out of contract iPhone 4 and iPhone 3GS.

Now you can unlock your recently acquired iPhone using BTC!

This method works for iPhone 4 and iPhone 3gs, but hasn't been tested yet with the iPhone 4s.

Usually takes less than 10 minutes.

I offer 100% money back guarantee if you're phone can't be unlocked.

Only $20 payable in BTC!!

No need to jailbreak your device.

Message me to unlock your iPhone

lulz I don't think that would help much. This is just one of the many things I have going on personally, I have begun planning stages for my business which will hopefully be open in ~2 months.
