6441  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Have we hit the bottom? I think so. on: June 29, 2018, 05:21:53 PM
A brand new Bitcoin and Cryptocurrency podcast that is focused on trading and investing. Hosts interview guests and discuss the latest news in the markets. With experienced traders including an ex-JP Morgan hedge fund manager to talk Bitcoin and big picture moves. Are the latest moves all manipulation or just demand driven? Is the latest SEC statement on Ethereum positive for the markets? When will Bitcoin see all-time highs again? Do Bitcoin Futures manipulate the market? Bitcoin ETFs maybe?

Up until early 2016, there was only one choice for holding cryptocurrencies, Bitcoin. From there, the marketplace has exploded. In this episode, they discuss constructing your portfolio and how to gather the proper information to make informed investments and trades.

Latest episode on SoundCloud - https://soundcloud.com/buy-or-sell-what-the-hell/have-we-hit-the-bottom-what-projects-are-exciting-developers-28

Is there some interest in a solely trading and investing crypto podcast? No bullshit, just talking markets.

Give it a shot and let me know what you guys think!

A lot of talks have been made by people at this time but rather than backing it up by actions, its seems its just talk because if every of the comments made by people and recent happening is being acted up through investing, we should be seeing some positive increase in price but rather its just taking a nose dive. However, I still don't think the bottom has been reached already because reaching the bottom means the next phase is the increase in price which is not something I see happening now at all or not close to it.
Every price dips we people on crypto would definitely have this kind of common question, Is this already the bottom? - This turns out that we are just always been keeping on guessing on this thing 8 years already on crypto. When we do saw price decrease then this common question would come out.We would only find out when the price do already tends to completely made a reversal but before that keeps on guessing is just already a normal act to be made. For now we wont even know on how deep we would go.
6442  Economy / Economics / Re: [ASK] How are you going to handle too much debt? on: June 29, 2018, 04:29:58 PM
what would you do if you had so much debt and that your income was not enough to repay your debt installment?
how will you deal with it?
how to solve it?

I would change my job. There are other fields that you can earn good money by working so hard. I would work in the countries that gives good salary.
Easy to say but would really be hard to do when you are already in the middle of the situation. Switch job? Lets say you quit on that day and what if you wont able to get in with other job then for sure you are fucked.
Work on other countries? Easy to say but resources would be needed. What if you dont have such support funds? You will still end up on becoming jobless because of such decision.

IF you cant able to repay such loans then its better not to took a loan.
6443  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is crypto a cult? on: June 28, 2018, 06:47:19 PM
Is this becoming a religious experience for some?

https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=LBw94cH-ErI&t=2s
I dont know if this is a serious thing or just pure troll.

How would a cryptocurrency or simply involve on money would already comes to a point where it do correlates with religion? How bullshit this kind on how to correlate things to each other.
Money or digital currency has nothing to do with religion or cult because they are entirely different.

Btw, i didnt watch the link above because it do pissed me of. Cool
6444  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-06-28] Cryptocurrency to Fiat Transactions Remain High in the Philippines on: June 28, 2018, 05:42:45 PM

Cryptocurrency-Fiat Transactions Remain High

Cryptocurrency to Fiat Transactions Remain High in the Philippines Transactions involving both fiat and crypto currencies remained high during the first three months of 2018 in the Philippines, revealed new figures released by the country’s central bank, Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP). This happened despite the warnings to the public issued by the central bank about the risks involved with the instruments, which were meant to discourage the acquisition, possession and trading of crypto currencies.

https://news.bitcoin.com/cryptocurrency-to-fiat-transactions-remain-high-in-the-philippines/

BSP Deputy Governor Chuchi Fonacier announced that conversion of cryptocurrencies into the local peso as well as other fiat currencies by monthly average amounted to $24.16 million, while conversion from peso and other fiat currencies to cryptocurrencies reached $36.74 million in the first quarter of the year, as The Philippine Star reported. In the last quarter of 2017, Fonacier said the average monthly transactions involving conversion of cryptocurrencies to peso and other fiat currencies reached $24.79 million, while conversion from peso and other fiat currencies to cryptocurrencies amounted to $38.27 million.

This indicates the number of people and transaction have increased so high?

If we do try to compare those numbers it do only increase for some hundreds of thousands on Peso value but it do still mean that the demand is increasing due to such change of numbers.Im little bit surprised that it do comes to a point where it do have an average monthly transactions costing or reaching to 24M php which is indeed a high amount for a short period of time. This do only signifies that demand is uprising into this country since pinoys do already recognize the usefulness of crypto or bitcoin when it comes to payment matters.
6445  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Protected Myetherwallet form phising attack? on: June 27, 2018, 11:25:53 PM
How secure your Myetherwallet form Phising attack?
what kind of security you provied and what are the precautions from phishing attcack?
First you should be aware on the correct URL link of myetherwallet itself or either bookmark it into your browser so that you wont able to click other similar name phishing sites on google search. 2nd, having a clean computer which is clean from any malware or viruses, 3rd keep your keys as safe as you can either you do wrote it on a paper or store it up on a USB with either having 2-3 copies then store or hide it up into a place that no one knows or can steal it up.
6446  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Why do we trust hardware wallet manufacturers? on: June 27, 2018, 10:39:50 PM
For all services you need in life and you can't provide them by yourself you have to trust someone. Banks, insurance, health services, the lady that cleans your apartement, it's all based on trust. So it's with hardware wallets manufactures.
No one isn't saying that 100% safety exists and that you are not taking certain risk but those wallets are proven and trusted and by now as far as I'm informed no one has reported any kind of abuse.
For sure the risk is there but those companies wont risk up their reputation. Why would they waste up their profitable business as of now for just a simple flaw of their wallets? Trust is indeed needed but doubts on storing up your long term or big amount of coins in there cant really be avoided but for now they are still trustable.
Just be sure you do purchase on direct to company or legitimate resellers not into just random dude in the net.
6447  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bitcoin Cash on: June 27, 2018, 10:01:05 PM
The situation with bitcoin is fishy, to say the least. I have been following the mining costs, and the relation of hashrate to the market price, and what worries me, here, is not the bear market itself, but the fact that bitcoin is way below its mining costs. Not only bitcoin, but litecoin too. A situation like that can lead to a breaking of small mining companies, which would increase centralization in the hands of a few.

You cant say the same about ethereum, which, although also in a bear market, is still profitable to mine.

Knowing that bitmain is the main miner in the bitcoin market, and that the biggest mining companies have joined CME futures, what is the probability that bitcoin cash might jump in the next three weeks?

I have been thinking about buying it, and even researched for some wallet that would not conflict with the Core wallet (the ABC wallet did that).

Those who have been following bitcoin cash, can you give some advice about it? What are the prospects about it?
You mean that shitty coin of Ver? I dont see any coins that would able to surpass Bitcoin and those forked coins are just still considered to be altcoin in the market. Bitcoin do really have flaws but havent you consider that people are still staying? inspite of having those flaws?
Bitcoin cash might have edge but im not spending a single cent with this project, not due that it isnt good but i dont like its owner.  Grin
6448  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Crash recoveries are not moons on: June 27, 2018, 08:58:54 PM
It's irritating to see people saying that after a 20% crash (which happened a week ago or so), that 1 or 2% daily recoveries is a good sign for the market. It's not.
Atleast you do already see some price gains and this is the thing where short traders do like and this is where would money came or profits to be made. You cant blame people to have the pessimism when it comes to prices and yet this thing cant really be avoided. It might piss you but those gains do give somehow hope that the market price do have sign of recovery.
Instead on getting pissed, why wont utilize those movements for you to make some money?  Grin
6449  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are ICOs gonna end someday ? on: June 27, 2018, 08:02:44 PM
I have one question that really bug me sometimes, Are ICOs going to end or new ideas and projects will emerge along with ICOs. Many of us actually rely on bounty to earn other than investing. As long as there is ICO I believe there will be bounty. It will be a sad day for us if ICOs are declared officially dead.
It will not end but it will be regulated. Since there are too many ICO that are not successful and others are scam, the governments wants to intervene to protect the investors from scam ICO.
This is where they do heading where we would already come to a point that ICO's would be regulated but i dont see that this is the only reason why governments wants to intervene they might concern on fraud things but also they are interested on how to sip up taxes when it do already involves big amounts and also when we do talk about regulated then expect big investors would really have the tendency or chance to be interviewed.
6450  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-06-25] Blockchain CEO Says Bitcoin Adoption Will Take Long Time, Survivors on: June 26, 2018, 06:30:18 PM
It is fun to see how a downtrend in the market could shake up a lot of persons and turn down on their own investments. This is what separates the real investors from the fake ones as a bear market should be seen as an opportunity rather than what we are feeling now. And of course with this bear market we are seeing a lot of bad news as if they are not contributing to the progress of adoption of cryptocurrencies. A bull market can save us from the lack of progress we are having hopefully we will see it soon.
Even if we see a bullish market, it will only be a temporary phenomenon. Speculation in the cryptocurrency market does not stimulate the growth of popularity of cryptocurrencies. I feel like this is going nowhere. Bitcoin should get another use. Without it there will be no future. Bitcoin must become a currency or die.

Being merely an instrument of speculation doesn't fade the future of the Bitcoin. Let's take the example of Gold!
The shiny piece of metal has very less real world use but its value has risen over century dramatically due to speculation. Same may happen to Bitcoin and new investors may start investing in Bitcoin in near future if it comes up solely as a mean of investment. The unclear status of Bitcoin as of now is more disadvantages than proud recognition of it as a speculative investment.
I cant really consider for Gold to be compared with Bitcoin when it comes on its current standing. Gold is just mineral but we do know its value and it do have a physical form which it is somehow considerable compared to BTC which its just a digital currency with have a anonymity and decentralized feature then its somehow anticipated that this wont really be easily considered to be legal in all means. Becoming a currency? No it wont happen.
6451  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Regretting Buying Coins of others Choice on: June 26, 2018, 05:29:46 PM
There are many people (mostly new to crypto trading) seen here regretting buying coins that are recommended by forum members.
Anyone new to this market should learn trading first before investing major portion of his capital. Take advice but do your own research before buying any coin as no one will share your loss.
Keep in mind that if you are seeking advice here, you will be recommended by coins that are bought by members or they have some interest in it. So please don't follow blindly to every advice, take care of your hard earned money.
Glad that you do able to find out and realize such thing which it is just normal for those informations to fly away on all directions where people would always tend to propose or shill out on the coins that they had already invested it out and once they do get some big investor they would able to sell it out on their holdings yet the price had already being increased and thats a normal system and if you are careless enough then most of the time you would really be fooled out.
6452  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty Campaign are wastage of time? on: June 25, 2018, 10:12:38 PM
Guys do you think bounty are campaign wastage of time because of we take particiapate in bounty campaign it take 2 to 4 month time the end up and after end the bounty campain it would distribute the token after more 1 to 2 months.
So isn't wastage of time? After taking token you dont know what is the value of token or it is available in exchange or not.
If you recruit a bunch of empty, unpromising projects, then of course it's a waste of time. And if you take a good project, or a few good projects, then after payments and listing you will get a good reward. In this case, you do not risk losing your funds! This is better than trading, where you risk your finances!
Bounty programs wont really be better than trading when it comes to longer runs the thing on where it is on advantage is that you wont really need to pull out money from your own pocket when you do decide to trade with your bounty profits. Its up to your own choice either you would convert directly to usd or you would decide to diversify it into some investment like trading. Its your choice but doing bounty will always depend if you do able to hit up the right project or not.
6453  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: how often do you check BTC price and how to cope with stress? on: June 25, 2018, 09:05:02 PM
to see and determine the bitcoin price is you can see from some news in the media or in bitcoin.com if there is good news then bitcoin can go up and when there is bad news then bitcoin will collapse its price.
Easy way to check BTC to USD in Google and in 5 seconds you will see the price. I look two times a day like medicine because I am very keen in bitcoin up and down. I daily count how much I lost and how much I won this day. Many people check bitcoin price daily no matter they invest in bitcoin or not. Everyone is interested in future cryptocurrency.

The fact is that for me personally, the crypto currency is the only real income and an opportunity to replenish the home budget. It is thanks to the crypto currency that I live financially. So I always check the price of Bitcoin.
if you may based for the current situation of on how are you able to make some earning through online this is one of the best way of on how are you can be able to make some money online and be careful on scam and hackers but overall for all online business this is what i have to trust for.
If we do have investments on bitcoin or on other altcoins in the market we would really normally check our prices specially when we do make active trades then its normal for us to do such act.Bitcoin did give opportunity on most of us to help up with some expense on our daily living (including myself). but sometimes it cant really be avoided that you wont able not to be stressed when it comes to declining prices of the entire market and into bitcoin itself.
6454  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: All Altcoins -10%+,Is it time to buy? on: June 22, 2018, 10:46:47 PM
Hello pals,
With the big crash of Bitcoin today from 6700$ to 6000$,all altcoins followed this path and now all top altcoins are red -10%.
Is is good time to buy considering the fact that Bitcoin can rebounce any time so Altcoins do the same? Or buying now during the dip is risky because it can go deeper?
What do you think?
Regards
Depends on you actually but basing on the current movement of coins then i would consider it as a safe spot but always put in mind that it doesnt give any guarantee that it will give profits later on. Sometimes we do really hesitate to buy because it cant really be avoided the thing comes to mind that the price might go even more lower.Basing on technicals bitcoin can possible go ahead to below 5k price but still its just a presumption basing on those indicators if you can wait then its your choice but dont expect it would happen for sure.
6455  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Useful Tools to analyze cryptocurrencies market on: June 22, 2018, 09:38:37 PM
Coinmarketcap and other websites similar to this share the same features? What's unique in this?

Also, how many people do you think use websites like these? I'll tell you: Not many! They see the price and have a panic attack right there. Only like, pro traders use trading tools and these aren't even those tools. This is just for reference purposes.
Same question and same views with these matter i dont see any uniqueness or surprising thing being posted on op and its just simply a promotion of the site for sure.Same as you said this isnt really considered to be a tool but this would only good for reference.

When we do talk about trading or useful tools then usually we do talk about indicators to be used on actual trades.Fundamentals would be considered to be tools too.
6456  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it true that every end of the year so many Crypto-holders are rich? on: June 21, 2018, 08:36:28 PM
Its been 5 months now, since I joined cryptocurrency ,I've seen many ups and downs in Bitcoin Currency and Altcoins even in those Rank 2 to 100 in Coinmarketcap, but I just want to clarify why every end of the year starts in September then up to  December Bitcoin fly high, any fundamental reason why does the value of Bitcoin and other currency go up?
Coming up on talking about last quarter of the year pump ups then this sounds out to be already a traditional times for bitcoin and other altcoins in the market do rise up on those times but i dont see any strong reasons why they do usually move upward into these seasons. We might see it again for this year or not, no one really knows.About talking into those people who got rich with crypto then its really possible but in equal if there are people who becomes rich on the other side there are lots of investors do became poor or lose up big money.
6457  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-06-20] Coinbase CEO: ‘I’ve Come To Enjoy’ Bitcoin Price Lows on: June 21, 2018, 06:46:12 PM
I hope they're getting their shit together properly because the next bubble will be truly staggering to behold in its sheer magnitude. I don't see how any of these operations can ever hope to keep up. They're trapped in a cycle of being swamped and then the lows not making enough money to keep up the staff required.

It's actually quite amusing the money from the rallies funds the lull. Then during the lull they catch up to all the errors they made and downsize a bit to prepare for the next cycle, I agree though they are really just getting swamped.
On the bright side new price lows are still higher than old price highs in the long run so the businesses that have been around longer operated on the concept of a lower bitcoin price and keep the operations in the green.
That said it will be a while before consolidation to many new emerging companies in the industry, likely the next cycle will see a correction.

new price lows are still higher than old price highs

This is the thing on where most people cant see of which they do only focus on the current movement or on where the price did able to reach out and when they do see a fallback or decline they do already murmur on such situation. We are now on sideways which is really good for accumulation but the thing here is that you would still able to trust up?
6458  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Manager Level = Campaign Successfully? on: June 21, 2018, 05:52:48 PM
Many of us have a spreadsheet or we have read many posts with the best known managers (most of them are Legendary users) and their new bounty campaigns, but the reality is that it is not about managers to be paid for the hard work we do because if the project does not get enough funds, Nobody receives their reward. Everything depends on the success of the project, that is clear.

As for managers, do you take into consideration the rank of the user who manages the campaign?
Because I've seen Sr members in campaigns promoted by Jr. Members, so I don't know if the level of user is a deadline between Trustful, Scam or Successfully  ICOs.
Manager level does not depends on the rank,it does by their reputation. The well experienced campaign managers never support the low quality projects because it will spoil their career to if it doesn't make enough funds. There are some bounty managers are there who projects are successful mostly so you can join on their bounties to make money.
As of now we can still see some newbie or jr. member managers which supposed they are part of the team and it doesnt really rely anytime with Managers rank or reputation on success of a certain ICO. Ive seen lots of scenarios where theres a newbie campaign manager but still he do able to run the campaign well and with professionalism.
But nowadays bounty hunters are always keeping an eye to those managers who have been here for years managing campaigns and for those who do have high chance of success on handling campaign.
6459  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I wish I dump all the BTC in late DEC 2017 on: June 21, 2018, 05:17:12 PM
what a year, wish I dump all the coin in late DEC lol

and today, spend the 100% from that capital and bought it again, so u still holding the same amount as late DEC while steady with the 900% profits..
You are still on good shape yet you have able to sell into those times might not be on overall but somehow you are on profits and not only you is hoping to dump into those times.Even me neither to really regret to miss out that opportunity to sell. The important thing is that you do able to purchase or buyback once again with 100% of the capital and start all over again. Hoping for price increase once again.

Most of the times being or getting greedy wont really give any positive effects into a certain investor but sometimes these things cant really be avoided.
6460  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Are Bitcoin Casinos Legal ? on: June 21, 2018, 04:12:39 PM
I was searching all over the internet and could not find the answer.

Are crypto casinos legal ?

Do they need a license ?

Are US and China citizens allowed to play in that casinos ?

I'm talking about casinos that accept only cryptocurrencies. (No fiat money)

This post belongs to this board yet it do talks about online gambling: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=228.0

Crypto casinos legal? Yes, for those businesses that do have licenses and for those who havent then you do know the answer. For me they do need license because as a player this would somehow gives us the confidence to trust up the site incase if there are any problems towards the site. Country restriction would always vary on sites decision on what laws are they following to.
