6521  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Android client for the bitcointalk.org forum on: February 21, 2016, 12:02:43 PM
In term of it's looks, it's really nice (specially the dark theme) however what would be the assurance of users password not being hacked if they use your application instead of accessing the page using their mobile browsers instead? And also will there be a message attached to each post like saying this comment was made through bitcoin talk app like some other applications before did or it won't say anything?
6522  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Credit Card, Debit Card or Bitcoin? on: February 21, 2016, 10:57:43 AM
Of course I will go with BTCitcoin (all day long and that's why i'm here in the first place). The problem you go through from owning a credit card as opposed to a BTCitcoin wallet is a lot of extra works and also the fee's are something that would really be the deciding factor as well since their difference on that matter is more than few margins plus BTCitcoin usage is really fun as opposed to the other one.
6523  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How will the Microsoft and IBM's blockchain project affect Bitcoin and Ethereum? on: February 21, 2016, 09:21:57 AM
Although their going to use it in a slightly different field, no matter how hard they try to improve it, it's not going to be better than the original one. They could tweak it and present it as their own but it's always going to be different in a way that bring more control on their side as opposed to the original idea so I don't think it will affect BTCitcoin in anyway in particular.
6524  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Why doesn't someone just design a miner, which will ROI and profit in a year? on: February 21, 2016, 07:38:37 AM
Well I wouldn't be surprised that there might be some inventors in which have what your saying but rest assured they will use it for their own sake until they get the maximum profit and would release it only when the profit is less so as result, again longer ROI and less profit for us.
6525  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Spend $2k on mining rig or bitcoins? Still worth getting 2x antminer S7's? on: February 21, 2016, 06:34:04 AM
AFAIK in alloscomp, the future difficulties, are not measured so the results are a bit inaccurate. It could be a good investment since it's one of the most efficient miners out there but also since the halving is coming, I expect it's price to even go further down and also new mining equipment's pop out with better and more efficient chips so you might want to wait a little longer before you start. For now, I would advise to maybe but BTCitcoin and let the magic of halving surprise you with the result in terms of BTCitcoin value.
6526  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The applications of Bitcoin on: February 21, 2016, 04:01:28 AM
Just wanted to point out a correction here: "you buy when the price is high and sell when the price is low" it should be the other way, Buy when is low and Sell when is high. I use it mainly for purchasing digital goods, some micro payments and soon in exchange for carrying large amount of cash when travelling abroad.
6527  Economy / Speculation / Re: Price Going UP! on: February 20, 2016, 09:02:49 PM
Just imagine what the effect could be if this trend extends until the halving itself. Even if it gets slight growth, as long as it would be on the plus side, it could have enormous effect as most likely the halving would have an spike of 25% of whatever the value would be prior to this phase (even though some predict exactly double it's value).
6528  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin value is 440+ on: February 20, 2016, 08:21:47 PM
Yes, it seems the trend has begun to reach further more but hope this is not another manipulation by someone since suddenly increased value over $20 in a single day but it's also good sign if this trend continues until the halving and then huge spike and makes all of us happy. Wish I didn't exchange earlier today when price was lower though.
6529  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Are signature campaigns actually profitable for the people who host them? on: February 20, 2016, 05:37:29 PM
The results always varies, so some get good amount of visitors/impressions to their site in exchange for running signature campaigns (if they have an interesting site) and some turn out to be a complete failure (mainly due to unpopular websites). In terms of profit, only those old campaigns could answer since their the only one who have been running their campaign, mostly due to the amount of profit they've earned from advertising in this forum alone but IMO as long as they get passive outcome, they will continue to promote somehow.
6530  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Overview of Bitcointalk Campaign managers [Last update: 20-Feb-2016] on: February 20, 2016, 04:06:08 PM
Wanted to let you know that a correction is needed regarding izanagi since on the OP it has stated on his MB: 11BTC which it's wrong since MB stands for max budget(monthly) but that was his total and you should contact him and ask what was his max budget monthly fee that he had experienced since he has only provided for a week of 0.4BTC and the total instead of providing the max budget(monthly) itself. Other than that, information's seem correct.
6531  Economy / Services / Re: [Crypto-Games.net] ★Signature Campaign★ | Best Rates | Full M. - Legendary[OPEN] on: February 20, 2016, 03:47:47 PM
Thank you once again for this weeks managing of the campaign (Lutpin) and also for processing the payments (DogecoinMachine), Would like to confirm receiving as well Smiley
6532  Economy / Economics / Re: Is the number of available bitcoins decreasing? on: February 20, 2016, 08:48:02 AM
Although you may have a point, it's not going to always keep on people losing their BTCitcoins due to some human errors and for sure in the future, more functionality could save this problem and help users retain their earned BTCitcoins somehow. But again, there are so many useless and untouched BTCitcoins too and it's a waste unfortunately and does have an indirect effect on it's value, I suppose.
6533  Economy / Speculation / Re: BITCOIN RALLY LOSING STEAM IN $420S GOING INTO THE WEEKEND on: February 20, 2016, 07:27:52 AM
Actually the signs are really in favor of us and I would like it to stay the same and not to crate another bubble that will burst after some times. Hope this range will be the new support level for some time until we head into the halving phase ($424.90 at the moment) as any other factor that come to push it further up will most likely have a temporary effect only.
6534  Economy / Economics / Re: How can my country lose money if I send bitcoins away? on: February 20, 2016, 06:33:23 AM
There won't be any loss to your country AFAIK since it's not connected to them and they don't control it nor it circulates in the economy of your country if it just sits on your wallet, however if your in certain countries, you have to pay certain amount of tax from the earned BTCitcoin IIRC so on that case, there might be a slight change of outcome.
6535  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should Satoshi have patented the blockchain and licensed it out? on: February 20, 2016, 05:56:01 AM
I don't think it would've been possible due to a need of exposing himself first in order to do so and this would've put him in a lot of risk (security in case someone targets him and also government risk in case they put a limit on his moves). And lastly yes, he would've made more money by now but his priorities seem much more than just earning tad more.
6536  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Greglist- The bitcoin marketplace on: February 19, 2016, 03:56:55 PM
I'm interested to get in for Designer position if your still looking but have this in mind that I only know purely designing works and no coding skills like (CSS, java and etc...) so you should look for an actual coder too. Regarding the current website, everything should be designed from scratch since your using a WordPress theme now and that might complicate if you decide to go with WordPress only. Anyway you could check my thread from the link on my profile (I'll be available Tuesday on ward, in case).
6537  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Tony Robbins discovered Bitcoin! on: February 19, 2016, 12:16:43 PM
Well the good side is, him having enormous amount of followers on his social media accounts therefor anything he says that drive further attention regarding BTCitcoin to newer audience would be a plus but on a bad side, at the end of his article, he still mentioned that use of BTCitcoin in criminal activities (wish he didn't so as that alone would make people think twice in term of using it).
6538  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Mining project with S7 and solar panels on: February 19, 2016, 08:21:27 AM
To answer your question, "NO" don't wait for the halving before you guys start mining (in case you already have the 2 S7 at your disposal), since the reward will be lesser and would be better to start right away and collect as much as rewards, you could do prior the halving. However if you still haven't bought the 2 S7, perhaps would be ideal to wait until the halving is done as most likely their prices will go down and better efficient miner come out with better chips.
6539  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Butterfly Labs loses Lawsuit... 39 million on: February 19, 2016, 07:08:17 AM
Shocking news as I only got interested with their newly made efficient chip and was looking for a group buy to join in and order some but after seeing what just happened and also their history (only found out now), I won't be doing so. The sad part is, their inability to pay back and their reputation won't be fixed too unless they repay first (wrong move by them).
6540  Economy / Speculation / Re: Finally bitcoin above 400 again on: February 18, 2016, 05:22:16 PM
This was expected after being on the support value for some time, it's gradually going up now ($419 currently) and it's going to continue with this trend until the halving (slowly going up until then) and then were going to see a bigger jump after it and hopefully that will be the new support level instead.
