This is ridicolous!!!!

Even confirmed transactions are gone after a little time.

Someone already attacking this one?
They're called orphans. That's all that's been mined so far.

Current number of blocks: 1200
Estimated total blocks: 118....
662  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][XNC] XenCoin | Instant Transactions | Stable | Long term Support | Usable on: June 19, 2013, 09:55:04 AM

663  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][MultiCoin][Stratum+GW] multipool.in - Always mine the most profitable coin on: June 19, 2013, 06:50:07 AM
So, I've got the donations page ready to go.  There are 3 tiers of donators:

4%+ - Patron
3%-4% - Sponsor
2%-3% - Supporter

I also have a section called "Hero Users" which will be at the top of the donator page.  Currently accepting nominations for Hero Users!
The ones that are already there, is it by total donation or percentage? Or other means of contribution?

Also, stats page looks fine on my Nexus 4.

Edit: Stupid slight suggestion: a total personal donation ticker either on the donation or account page. Cheesy

665  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is Dropbox a safe place keep my TrueCrypted BTC wallet backup? on: June 18, 2013, 07:04:57 AM
In theory, BTSync would probably be a better solution. Less people with access to the files (i.e. decentralized). Same concept as Dropbox, just without the central server, and uses a passkey just to sync (extra layer never hurts). That said, I use both, but I wouldn't put anything sensitive on Dropbox.

666  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bulk Feathercoin Addresses? on: June 18, 2013, 04:02:37 AM
Hi

Bit stuck on this one. I was wondering if anyone can help me find a script or dos command that would bulk create say 1000 FTC addresses per wallet into a listed spreadsheet or txt doc

Would really appreciate help on this one!

Koolio

I just tried with novacoin and it worked.

Code: (address.bat)
@echo off
SET /A COUNT=0
:Top
novacoind getnewaddress >> address.txt
SET /a COUNT=%COUNT%+1
IF %COUNT% == 1000 Goto :End
Goto :Top

:End

Obviously just change "novacoind" to your feathercoin daemon, start up your daemon, start the script.

EDIT: it's pretty slow. But it works.

EDIT 2: If you want to name/label each, it's pretty simple. I'll do a couple examples.

Labels one at a time by number:
Code: (address.bat)
@echo off
SET /A COUNT=0
:Top
novacoind getaccountaddress %COUNT% >> address.txt
SET /a COUNT=%COUNT%+1
IF %COUNT% == 1000 Goto :End
Goto :Top

:End
^ Address label would be "1", "2", etc.

Labels 1000 with the same name, labels another 1000 with next name:
Code: (address.bat)
@echo off
SET /A COUNT=0
SET /A ROUND=1
:Top
SET /a COUNT=%COUNT%+1
novacoind getaccountaddress "Wallet %ROUND%-%COUNT%" >> address.txt
IF %COUNT% == 1000 (
SET /a ROUND=%ROUND%+1
SET /A COUNT=0
)
Goto :Top

:End
^ Address would be "Wallet 1-1", "Wallet 1-2"... "Wallet 1-1000", "Wallet 2-1", etc.
667  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is This Namecoin Client Legit? on: June 18, 2013, 01:51:28 AM
It's legit and very decent. No worries with that one.
668  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][MultiCoin][Stratum+GW] multipool.in - Always mine the most profitable coin on: June 17, 2013, 10:26:56 PM
Have not been able to access the website, am I the only one?

The website is down right now, I am adding NVC.
Will it be included into the multiport?
669  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: cgminer - ubuntu 13.04 - stuck on Thread 1 being disabled - 0.1BTC for solution on: June 17, 2013, 05:54:05 PM
Username is the worker name, not the website login, password would be the worker password, not the website password. Not sure why that's ever censored... maybe people are worried people will mine for them.

671  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Loan 1.260BTC on: June 17, 2013, 01:43:15 PM
How about buying one I mean I even giving the Card number to check if it is legit.. It should go like this if someone buys
1. I will send the Card number
2.You check to see the balance
3.Now you see its legit You send the $105 if lending or $128 if I would buy one

and to say it again I will send you the card number first so I dont know how I would scam you?
As I stated before, low post count automatically makes people not want to risk money on you. It's not something personal, it's just common logic. You can get a loan from:
https://btcjam.com/
or
https://www.coinlenders.com

Those are both decent sites.

673  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Re: Mining-app for Android/ARM, you must be kidding me... on: June 17, 2013, 10:32:30 AM
Its absolutely not ab out being upset.
Im rather just wondering about this. Cheesy
By the way: What is actually the strongest ARM-device on the consumer market?
https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Mining_hardware_comparison#ARM
^ is very outdated for ARM devices. Lists the Galaxy S II as the fastest.

If I had to guess, it'd currently be the Exynos 5 Octa in the Galaxy S IV.

675  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you run altcoin wallets/software you don't necessarily trust? on: June 17, 2013, 09:29:58 AM
It's possible, but it's usually from unknown sources, i.e. someone else compiles from source, adding in their own malicious part.
VM's are usually the easiest way to test.
676  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Re: Mining-app for Android/ARM, you must be kidding me... on: June 17, 2013, 09:27:53 AM
It works fine. It's not fast. You could say the same thing about x86 CPU's a few years back, or even now comparatively. I'm not sure why someone would be upset that someone made something.
677  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [ANN] NEW - Namecoin-QT with integrated Name Registration (v3.62) on: June 17, 2013, 09:24:56 AM
Looks good so far. All synced up.
678  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: recommend all in one crypto-currency wallet on: June 17, 2013, 08:03:51 AM
Ufasoft Coin for Windows.

complete with Wallet Stealing Trojan free of charge
makes sense. A wallet that steals itself.
679  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to backup a btc-qt wallet? on: June 17, 2013, 07:42:59 AM
OK, so if you need to move the backup, can you simply just move this file around between PC's, between wallet-qt's?
Yes.
680  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Loan 1.260BTC on: June 17, 2013, 06:40:11 AM
This is the lending site that I usually use:
https://www.coinlenders.com

To be honest, it's tough for people to trust newbies on this site. At least at coinlenders, you don't need a post count or anything to be trustworthy.
