661  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: signature campaign vs social media campaign, which is more effective? on: February 20, 2017, 01:48:19 PM
Signature stays within this forum, with varying elites of long year experience of blockchain technology while the world of the social media exposes projects to richer world of people who also looking for what to invest on. However, have not managed any campaign at both platform but like to know, to what advantage has signature campaign taken over social media or vice versa in recent campaigns.

Most of the signature campaign in bitcoin world is most often happened in bitcointalk forum and they can get fund mostly here in this industry not in the social media. Because in the social media campaign their participants was also the subscribers in the social media too. So same scenario in cryptocurrency and bitcoin world.
All the signature campaigns on this forum require a rank of Jr. member or higher and even then they don’t pay you that much, however social campaigns still do not pay that much but they don’t require you to have a high rank so even a newbie can get in, hence we cannot expect effective promotions from newbie.

But signature campaign just targets crtpto users or just this forum members whereas social media campaigns target rest of world too.
662  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Doubling bitcoins??? on: February 20, 2017, 12:32:04 PM
I see so many services offering to double, triple and multiple in all possible amounts the coins you put to them. This doesn't sound very convincing to me but some of them are offering the list of blockchain transactions as a proof that coins were credited. Is this pure scam like I think or is there a possibility to realy make some coins? Would like to hear your thoughts and experiences.

Yes it is a pure Ponzi/ scam, It is actually has been scattered in the social media like on Facebook nowadays. And many of them are being victimize and no one is experiencing the ROI is giving back to them. Even they show some records in the blockchain it is a false record only, though they know most of the people in the social media are lack of knowledge in bitcoin so the scammer are too happy. That was a very sad part.
You should never trust anyone who tells you that you can double your bitcoin, whatever site says this bullshit is just trying to scam people into putting their money into it and never giving it back we all have seen these kind of stuff and it has become pretty obvious what they want, if there is way to double you bitcoin without any risks everyone on this forms would be rich.
663  Other / Archival / Re: Earning "free" bitcoins on: February 20, 2017, 08:44:34 AM

I am just a newbie and I am trying to earn some, is this site legit?

You can get some btc from bitcointalk by participating signature campagin. But your account need to be mature. The more rank you get, the more BTC you can get.
But you need to note that this forum is not giving "free" bitcoins in the name of signature campaign. It is a reward for your hard work. You need to check games and round section for exact free bitcoins. But there also now people ask for some qualifying tasks. Unlike early days, free bitcoins are not now possible in bitcointalk.
664  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin be used by ordinary citizens? on: February 20, 2017, 07:50:43 AM
Bitcoin is usually used by people interested in technology. I mean, persons with a certain technical knowledge are interested in bitcoin.

My observations are that way. I think Bitcoin needs to reach larger quantities. Can use bitcoin in people who are not interested in technology?
Can people use the bitcoin in the profession group like tradesmen, teachers, housewives, firemen, butchers? Are we going to see the days that these people use bitcoin?
Do you find any difficulties for a common man to use Internet ? If one person is capable of using Internet then there would be no technical knowledge will be needed for him to start using and adopting bitcoin ecosystem.

I believe anyone will get into bitcoin ecosystem so easily after some initial guidelines. I guess those initial guidelines also do not need to be from experts as many great video tutorials are easily available on youtube.
665  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Best Investments on: February 19, 2017, 09:52:28 PM
Trading is not that easy as we feel and you need to have a good knowledge of market before you invest your money into it and if you invest without doing any research then surely the results will go against you which will bring loss for you.
I do see many people are considering trading as a best investments but trading needs our efforts to give profits. Usually investments will not demand for efforts like buying bitcoins will get us profits over time but we need not to work on anything for making profits from it.

Best investment of our  age must be bitcoins and in some countries real estate investments are giving good returns. But for a hassle free investment I am choosing bitcoins, real estate investments has many complications.
666  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Fixed income with BTC trading? on: February 19, 2017, 09:19:17 PM
Fixed Income with BTC trading is only possible with proper planning and patience as some time you can be the high price buyer so that time you have to wait for your price or if you have bought for 20% then you will be having more 20% to buy on dip which is always good way of trading so no more dip you buy more and when their is rising of price you should be in position to get profit and come out without loss. It is also good for altcoin trading but for that also you should first have the full detail about the coin worth and its trading position, if not you will end up in loss.
Talking about 20% movement then i could say it wont happen anytime to rely on on making a living with bitcoin trading infact bitcoins price doesnt move anytime like that big which do we make profits. Its possible if you do hundreds of bitcoin you can surely trade even on 1% gain , lets say you traded 100 btc and movement goes up 1% on a day then thats already 1 btc.
Yes, bitcoin is not fluctuating on same level of price movements. It will show different movements based on influencing factors. Not just bitcoin trading, almost any types of trading is also not recommended to rely on for a living. It has huge risks involved and hence it may go against us at any time. In my view too, fixed income from bitcoin trading is not that much easier.
667  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: trading ways on: February 19, 2017, 07:54:46 PM
There is no easy way to learn it. You have to put your own money on it and read the trading theory. You will get the real experience.

First we need to decide / analysis the things
Many of us doing trading but we do not knew how to start and effectively manage and  introduce new things / techniques and get lead and make bold decision in trading.
I do not agree on not knowing for ever. Only one beginning days traders will be not aware of those thing like how to manage and how to perform technical analysis for an accurate predictions.

Over time, he will slowly start gaining experience so that he will come to know about how to do technical analysis for profit making. This is how I learned trading, still I'm not claiming that I am in export in trading but I'm able to make some profits consistently.
668  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: how to use escrow on: February 19, 2017, 06:44:37 PM
Can you guide me where this services are being offered? Thank you.

This is a starting point:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=855778.0

But basically, a green trusted hero or legendary member that hasn't changed his email or password, hasn't got "real" negative feedbacks and can sign a message with an old, staked address *MIGHT* be a good escrow... It might be wise to ask for advice if you don't trust somebody that is offering his escrow services tough!

If you sell some digital files, you can use selly.gg, it does quite a good job

The OP isn't asking about an online platform to sell code, he's asking on how to find and use escrows.
While the last was updated before more than a year ago but yeah yet that list gives some useful information. I think selecting a escrow is not that difficult because if the trade is not complicated and you guys both ( both you newbies ) have good understanding you can sort it quite easily. Just find a person you seem to trust maybe even use guys like zazarb and others who are not that highly trusted but quite reputable lenders.
669  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: what is definition gambling in your mind? on: February 19, 2017, 08:06:34 AM
Gambling to me is a game of chance where there is very little skill involved.

Exactly. A game of complete luck and no skill at all. It is not like a person can predict the outcome of any bet coming up and they can bet according to that, it is just hoping for a win and trying your luck out. If you become lucky, then enjoy the money, and if not, then get ready for getting some tears out of your eyes if you are betting big.
Yes, gambling is always giving either profits or frustration at the end still people are playing with it.

Even people want only profits as a result that the end, they do not have control to take and drive into their preferred results. Hence there would be nothing wrong to call gambling as "unpredictable hell".
670  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Play with your profit or not? on: February 18, 2017, 08:00:22 PM
When you guys are gambling and already doubled your bankroll, do you still play with the whole money you got or you take away half of your bankroll and start playing with your profit or not?
It depends, in that situation I will prefer to stay a winner no matter what so I will withdraw all my winnings and a little bit more of my bankroll to guarantee I stay in profit no matter what happens to the rest of my money.
Yeah probably correct but the problem is that when you have taken the initial amount plus a little amount out to your wallet and gamble with the profits only then you suppose loose, then you will be so upset and desperate that you will even bring your funds that you withdrawn for gambling because you will feel like doing it again. So the best way is to just withdraw all and come fresh next day.
671  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling and Supertition on: February 18, 2017, 07:22:06 PM
I don't think that I'm superstitious but there are some numbers that I like more than others, and when i bet on lotteries or roulette games i bet on this numbers more than other random numbers.
Hehe you are superstitious mate then for sure because I am not superstitious and the only numbers I sometimes particularly choose is because they haven't arrived since long time. Like in a lottery number 7 hasn't come since 1 week then I chose that.

While it has same chance but at the same time its quite obvious that a single number cannot just vanish for a very long time. Its good being superstitious but betting just because you feel that way is wrong.
672  Economy / Economics / Re: Will you invest in a MLM scam in early stage? on: February 18, 2017, 08:13:31 AM
MLM is just an instrument of the company so they can dispose their products without paying for employees, they will just use the peoples desire so they can dispose their products faster.
If MLM works in similar way of "affiliate marketing" then there would be no harm. Unfortunately MLMs are just circulating our money and the real problem starts there.
Yes there are a lot of differences between MLM and affiliate marketing. If we do enter into a scheme only for benefits for the money we are paying and no actual business is involved, that must be a ponzi we should avoid it unlike how affiliate marketing is working in completely different way as a extra benefits for referring.
673  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin is no longer a currency on: February 18, 2017, 04:37:31 AM
I almost exclusively use bitcoins as a store of value so I definitely treat it more like a stock. There are a ton of people that don't on this forum though. It's the same with fiat, some people are savers and some are spenders.
What people right now doing will not impact the applications of bitcoin permanently. We can use bitcoin as an investment vehicle as of now, but when we find stable prices and we need making use of what we are saving for years, bitcoin will automatically switch into currency mode.

Bitcoin is a currency. But now it serves multiple purposes.
674  Economy / Economics / Re: If you were in desperate need for money.... on: February 17, 2017, 06:20:05 PM
If I were in really desperate need for money, like so desperate I felt immoral actions were justified. I would go to gyms and steal people's wallets. Everyone uses those simple masterlock combination locks at the gym and they take about 5 seconds to shim open if you know how to do it. You could open the locks take the money and credit cards out of a wallet, put everything back like you found it and put the lock right back on. I imagine most people would be totally confused by the time they figured out they'd been robbed. This is not something I would actually do but I have thought about how easy it would be to get away with. Also I recommend using something other than a masterlock next time you go to the gym.
This made me laugh my ass off, if you are really in need for the money just go find a part time job, I really find this easy like I go in to a restaurant say I want to get a job here and they say will call you back, but if you are talking on getting money on the internet you can easily find ones if you have some skills like coding, people really need log designers these days so try learning that and that might help you.
675  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin or gold? on: February 17, 2017, 05:10:29 PM
If you're thinking about long term investment then I would say Gold but for short term bitcons is the best option.
Great pick. I also will do that kind of decision since Gold is very stable and the price is slowly increasing after a few years but bitcoin can be also a long term investment which offers high returns rather than gold so i think. I would put the 80% of my money in bitcoin and 20% on gold so even though i didn't earn enough money on bitcoin, I still have back up investment like gold.

Investing in bitcoins is like gambling your money as price can go down soon or maybe rise again you can't be sure as for gold it will keep rising and you can get some ROI.
Although that might be true in some point, but still bitcoin is a still a good way to make a good profit as long as it is high, that is why you should never consider long time investment in it you should wait for the opportunity and grab it, gold on the other hand rises slowly and steady which makes it a good long term investment.
676  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Scam indicators? on: February 15, 2017, 01:04:27 PM
the one that I know is the site is registered using a fake identity
There were many history that known persons turned scammers. Hence it cannot be a right criteria.
Moreover how you will check whether a site is registered with legit information unless you are a local resident where that business is registered ? Additionally, many domain registrations allow anonymous registrations for security reasons.
677  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: $1000 is on the way on: February 15, 2017, 12:23:13 PM
We can see the price now, $1000 is on the way.
It really is. i think this is a good year for bitcoin because of the increase in value since new year, we can see that many invested in bitcoin and earn as well. i believe that it will continue to show us a nice price.

Yes, it is completely stable state from 990 to 1009$. Really we can hope that there is big movement in bitcoin after it touches 1300$, it is all time high in bitcoin history. But very soon it is going cross the figures of 1300$ mark without any problems and if it keep going like this.
I guess bitcoin prices are looking for any type of positive news to gain strength to break the resistances lying around all time high prices. The range bounding prices are always good, and we can expect at any time it will break into upper side.

In my speculations, bitcoin prices are heading toward $2000 levels, that may happen at any time because once bitcoin breaks the resistances at $1300 then it may stop around $2000 levels only. Yes, it is the next big physiological resistances.
678  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do I educate myself on bitcoin for investing? on: February 15, 2017, 11:43:03 AM
If you want to get scammed very fast go for ICO and alternative cryptocurrencies education hassle, if you want to play smart and grab an extraordinary opportunity then just sell everything you've got in your life and buy bitcoins with all of it.
6 months from now you will say thanks to me.

terrible advice!
no matter how good an investment may look or even actually be good, you should never invest more than you can afford to lose.
we all know bitcoin is a good investment and with a good future and lots of profit. but you can't be ignorant enough to overlook the risks.
and risks are not just about risk of price falling. there is also risk of losing the private keys, it can be hardware failure, misplacing your cold storage paper wallet, and theft.
Indeed. Such advice I got from people in exchange sites when i ask which coins I should buy.
One guy told me (long time ago) that I should buy reddcoins (or something like that) with all the money I have in my house, bank and anywhere. Even suggested me to take loan and now you see that.

Hence while I agree bitcoins would never face such a dump but actually investing all we have is quite risky and a change of $50-100 per bitcoins can make the person panic badly.
679  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What would you do with your winnings? on: February 15, 2017, 11:05:46 AM
i am gonna make withdraw and send it into the exchange which i can use it to sell in fiat and then i will use it to buy bitcoin when i see the price is lower. i am prefer to withdraw into my bank account if i can have more than $30 in my exchange account so i can reduce the fee for withdraw.
i think that is a great idea on managing your winnings or profits but i dont win really much on these gambling especially when i am mad. I just win a small amout really like .0000010, something like that because in online gambling, i just use faucets and free rolls.
Never start gambling with your main money, it is brutal I have lost a lot so saying. Faucets and giveaways are best unless you have some extra bitcoins to lose.
Anyways coming to the topic the best way to manage your winnings is to invest the in the site right away and if possible lock them for a short period at least ( like in money pot it used to be )
680  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why we still gambling while we always lose? on: February 14, 2017, 09:27:28 PM
All of the interest in gambling is the fun and entertainment involve in gambling that is why people do not leave to gamble even in the time when they continue to lose their money. They mostly put smaller amount of money in gambling in order to continue their gambling for getting the fun.
Hey, trust me no one ever gambles for fun !
It is just a hype created by owners or some investors that gambling is a fun activity, basically offline or casinos gambling is a fun activity but really tell me whats the fun in clicking roll 100 times and tiring your eyes ?

The truth is that we all (even me yeah) gamble for money and we chase money.
