I have to say that Crypto currencies has broadened my knowledge considerably. I got into Crypto currencies a few years ago, because I was a victim of Credit card fraud and I lost a lot of money. I started looking for an alternative payment option that would be a safer option than Credit card payments and I found Bitcoin.
that was unusual . usually people will chose credit card and common payment methods and they avoid bitcoin before because they think it was a scam but not anymore . the confidence of people have increased now . frauds are everywhere but i think theres more cases in btc because it was decentralized but we cant be a victim if we learn contiously . |

Those listed coin is a good pick mate, but some of them seems not really reliable in my view especially if the market starts to make bump again and constantly increasing, because base on their performance during the bull run are not that good, I don't want to mention names, but yes i have doubts it will do the same way when market bullish again. Maybe it's good to focus in bitcoin and other trusted project instead of hoping to some projects that currently at dip but we don't have any idea if it has a potential on the next trend..
for me it would be better to focus on a few assets, so it doesn't break our concentration because we have to manage a lot of coins. from the list of coins I think I will only invest a maximum of 4 assets that I choose. Of course, bitcoin is the first choice investing on many coins can give us extra work . it wont be a problem if all that we invest gave us a profit but what if not ? our efforts are only going to waste . investing on few best coins is enough but deciding on when to invest can be different to all of us because some thinks that the price is still high and they will wait a little longer |

because they cant continue anymore ? it could be lacking of funds or they have gained a bad reputations before but they havent fix it and it adds up . They probably got a wrong move and can't take it anymore due to the community judging them. As they know when it's the community that is against you, it's either you keep fighting for your business and establish it again or just stop it because you can no longer take the criticism aside from having lack of funds. you need to keep fighting for your business if you know you dont commit a sever mistake such as scamming because in every gambling site there is a mistake but that can be corrected if your costumer pointed it out . our costumer can give a feedback and we can use it to improve our business . they are not judging us but we only think they are . |

I don't know why people sell their altcoins to buy BTC when the BTC price goes down. It will be good if they sell their altcoins to FIAT or Stablecoins directly.
when they buy btc they are helping its value to go up and when btc is up their altcoins can follow . that would be the logic behind . alts are down and selling it to fiat or converting it to a stable coin is a bad move because they could lose . the reason may be simple because I think everyone here is interested in actual btc and no one denies it, and when btc is currently experiencing a decline of course this is like a very beautiful discount. it's a different story if they put it into fiat because there our assets will be like that and that's all and of course this is not profitable for those who intend to invest
they shouldnt have invested in alts before if all they want is btc and they shouldnt have waited for their alts to go down before they convert it to btc . not everyone are in to btc but some have passion for other coins |

About a month ago we hit 30k, and TA is constantly predicting a breakout up or down, usually up, but instead the market crabs sideways, something only a few people predicted, and most of them didn't use technical analysis to figure it out.
they are not real traders if they dont use t.a . they dont use t.a that is why they predicted it correctly but if they use t.a their prediction will also fail and dont call t.a pointless just because it didnt work this time . many traders are thankful that t.a is invented because it helps them analyze the market in a profesional way . it makes trading less gamble |

Even though twitter shouldn't have taken side with whatever shit the Nigerian government where doing but I still believe banning twitter was an extreme action taken by the Nigerian government, I mean why do the citizens have to pay for the crimes of government! Trump didn't do it because he knows what's right from wrong, between the USA wouldn't have taken it calmly either, that would have further increase the dislike many citizens already feel about him and his government. There is nothing commendable about what the Nigerian government did.
tweeter has its own rules and they could not make an exeption even if you are a president . i too dont like the action made by the nigerien government because other people are going to get affected . so many nigerian people uses twitter for thier business and also for crypto activities like doing bounties or airdrops but how can they do it now . |

I'm currently receiving some of my income in BTC, and I'm just holding it because I expect it will go up long term and so it is my savings.
But sometimes I'd like to be able to turn it into fiat for daily expenses. I can't yet pay my rent or buy my groceries with BTC (hopefully one day! but not today and not in the near future).
With banks in some countries blocking transactions from known exchanges is there a worry that one day it will become impractical to turn the BTC into fiat? Either just very hard to do, maybe street-corner-deals or at risk of getting your bank accounts frozen?
Do people think about this and have plans to work around these kinds of banking barriers? Or are there ways around it already but I'm not aware?
you can spend btc directly without having the need converting it into fiat . you get your income in btc and maybe you missed having a fiat in your hands ? if that is , well you are allowed to convert some of your btc into fiat for spending if you like it better . some banks now are strict with btc but in the future the restrictions can lessen . theres no need for you to be afraid in the future of btc |

it can be free . some influencial person can lie and say that he is into bitcoin and encourage his followers to buy or sell .
there is another form of manipulation that is not free and that is when whales buy large number of coins .
who says bear market is not real ? its real and its happening now and you cannot predict if there will be more bad news because you are not a god . dont stop people from buying now

The price so far was actually cheap now, where I think it is one of the nice investment to buy now, then wait a little longer to increase
the price value in the market. And besides it's not that hurt anyway if ever I loss my capital to it. Just do it at your own risk and never
invest with a big amount.
Really absurd how people buy these tokens in total FOMO without having done any research, I believe that only one bullrun could have generated so much FOMO... this project will disappear if the bear market returns we cant tell . they can comment like that but they have made some research because no one wants to lose and we are currently in the bear but safemoon is still alive . maybe because the coin havent been in the moon yet ? but lets find out if it will remain or it will be unseen after its ath . |

This is a good way to make an advertisement of Bitcoin actually. Otherwise, there is no need to do such thing as people can already buy some Bitcoin with some amount of their salary.
if they already know btc but for the others that doesnt know btc they wont have the chance to try it if not because a mayor introduce it to them . we need more of this mayor because this remove the doubts of others about btc . very lucky to have a mayor who really understands his citizens who are most likely bitcoin or other crypto users, hopefully this will be a positive example that will make bitcoin positive and useful for those who use it, and but it must be realized that bitcoin has a volatile nature.

I'm the class of 2016, I still keep some of my assets, because in 2010 I just graduated from school so I don't have enough capital to invest in bitcoin. But I'm sure to save bitcoin from 2010 is really very difficult, I myself feel 2 years even 5 years is a lot of temptation. But maybe there are still people here who have survived that far . value of btc in 2010 is verry cheap and any small money would do but its hard to find btc that time because btc was new . the best source to get btc that time is i guess by mining . we can easily get btc now but prices are not friendly and mining have gotten harder but you are blessed that you enter in 2016 and you havent sold some of your btc . only less people can hold for so long |

I know this forum is mostly about BTC but I do think we should have a discussion on the similarities & differences between BTC/EOS .... First off EOS is NOT mineable... (mining is the current topic these days) As we all know BTC has less than 21 million tokens...(deaths, lost passwords etc) ...GOod thing for its value but the decimal places though... why invest on something that you dont believe in ? early crypto sellers do also have some believe in the coin they get but they maybe investing in newer built coins and this coins have a higher risk to hodl longer .
that is why they sell after they get the oppurtunity .
you dont need to copy it if your from stocks because in stocks most of the assets their are legit and came from a big company but you can make use of the dip and continue hodling

I will suggest you to use a multi coin wallet like trust wallet. And I also use this. No problem at all. And you can also store many coins in one wallet. Beside it you can use binance account. But it's not a wallet it's an exchange that means there is no private key in your hand.

It makes me feel shifty and nervous of the fluctuations. Whereas before I looked forward to it falling so I can just buy.
you should feel happy if it fluctuates because you will feel more uncomfortable if the price will only decrease because you don't have a funds prepared for buying . Fluctuations helps delay the dip and help you accumulate money . reserving 1k for a 5k fall seem a lot because I think that 5k fall is not that big enough . this make your reserve fund run out faster |
