While there are 3 days to go for Turkey to face Wales they played a friendly against Germany today. The qualifying session was literally dominated by Ferrari!  Leclerc's winning pole position helped me get advantageous as well.    Ferrari were already really fast on straights. This was a fact that I knew. They have mostly been better in one-lap performance rather than racing pace. We saw another example of this today. I assume that Red Bull didn't want to use fresh tyres for Verstappen to go hard for pole position.

This was why he was really slow in his last attempt in Q3. Ferrari drivers did a great job today but Sainz has a grid penalty of 10 places I'm afraid. If his racing pace is strong then he can still manage to climb places of course. McLarens were a big failure by not even qualifying for Q2.

I think that's pretty much it for Italy! That was a superb performance by them against North Macedonia today. It was like they waited for this moment especially to show their best performance throughout the qualifiers stage. There wasn't any trauma of the previous results they got against Italy here. They just destroyed them by 5-2.

Now we see them owning 2nd place before the last match against Ukraine. While they have gained a lot of momentum by this result it feels like Ukraine will say goodbye to Euro 2024 already now. Because even one point is enough for Italy now.

It is really the case for Manchester City. I agree with your opinion. When they face a fearless and capable team they are getting much bigger issues about winning the match. We have seen many examples of it including this one. To be honest Chelsea haven't looked that capable generally until this match. Because they were clearly having scoring issues mostly.
