661  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will Stellar (XLM) do it again ? on: November 02, 2019, 10:23:14 AM
Stellar is another good coin should not be missed if your looking for a long term crypto investment. So far this is one of the best alternative that you can find in the market aside from Bitcoin and Ethereum, low inflation and scalable less issues so far.

I haven't been so familiar of stellar for such a long time, but hearing upon the feedback of many people it gathered a lot of positive reviews. With this advantages, maybe I'll be adding that to my series of holdings in the future once my assets will be established. For now bitcoin and ethereum remained as the good foundations I had, and gladly xlm is there a good options for the near future.
662  Economy / Speculation / Re: 20K by March, A positive Look at the market. on: November 02, 2019, 04:47:11 AM
I don't know but it really looks like we would hit another all time high next year .
And I hope that this could come true and the next question is would it be strong and stay at that price?
Because we have seen it make it to $20K but after that it collapse and slowly go down up to $3K.
So would this next $20K mark continue to climb or just repeat what happened before?

Everyone always look for positive results as bitcoin price tried to cover up those possible bearish trend that's making the price harder to grow. That's true, once price spiked higher it possibly goes down before recovery period is over. Eventually we will see same pattern of the price fluctuations, that's why our analysis only differs with few percentage.
663  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Share Your Experiences on: November 02, 2019, 03:21:18 AM
Was reading about how Bitcoin first came into existence and people's first experiences with Bitcoin, cryptocurrency, etc on Reddit. I want to know how your guy's first experiences was with Bitcoin, and if you ever had any regrets or wins throughout the years. Also, would be cool to know how people first actually got Bitcoin back nearly a decade ago when it wasn't as easy as buying some from a local Bitcoin ATM near you.

As of this moment at my local place, without atm outlets for crypto was not openly accessible to people except me who've been using bitcoin for a long time. It was a cool experience that I've been lucky enough having bitcoin independently, and earning it without limitations compated to those person who has no knowledge about it. Though I've been sharing my thoughts towards my friends about bitcoin, it isn't enough to educate them unless it became popular at different places.
664  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What scares you the most? on: November 01, 2019, 03:59:38 PM
What I am scared of these following days is that bitcoin will fall under $5000 or worst. But I know it wasn't possible now due to strong market and I believed that adoption is potential to go further, as many people we're having confidence to own bitcoin as their reliable asset. That conviction had given me courage to be neutralized, even though I've been through anxieties several days ago.
665  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: WILL YOU STILL INVEST IN CRYPTO ? on: November 01, 2019, 03:38:03 PM
generally i will still invest in crypto that i think have potential in the future. but for the ICO or IEO is relative, depend on the project itself, nowadays its difficult to find legit ico/ieo. the rest only scam.
For the Pos algo itself, i will choose base on percentage reward that i think its good for long term holding.

Long term holdings is the best methods to grow your coins in the long run. Though it's not easy to find out which of those ICO was legit, there's always a many chances to gain a good market value once those serious matters will be out of the lime light. What's important now is we're aware of what's happening of the market.
666  Economy / Speculation / Re: some people love imagining doomsday when there is any drops! on: November 01, 2019, 03:14:17 PM

what happened? price started a tiny rise then the FOMO kicked in pushing the price back up. guess who was FOMOing? Wink
Im expecting for some u-turn of words on here  Grin. I actually laugh in front of my pc when i do able to read up some speculations

that we would head down to 4k after they do saw that the price plummets on 7k level and now we do see almost 9k price in a short time.
Wondering on what would be their new speculations as of this moment.

Whether we like it or not there will always be people like that whose been so confident speculating this and that but when they see a small rise then they are the first ones who do FOMOing, I just can’t understand them. Anyways, I guess they need to study more before doing or saying anything because it just made them look stupid.

There are two reasons why I think they are doing this, maybe they're really angy with the modern technology because they think it will affect the status of their current business or they want the Bitcoin price to fall so they can buy it cheap and eventually benefit from it when the price goes up.

That's purely a greed attitude, they tried to contribute on the manipulation of bitcoin price that affected alot of people whose very serious investing bitcoin as a valuable asset. To the point that they're having a mindset of buying btc at lower cost, do you think it's a fair thing? Since they also seeks btc price to go up after they start holding enough amount of it? This is really unfair to see, because they don't consider the feelings of small investors, what they're thinking of is their own welfare.
667  Economy / Speculation / Re: It's still going down (Oct 26, 2019) on: November 01, 2019, 02:36:17 PM
It is not that large of a fall and yet you are already crying about it.
What really happened? Did you lose in trading?
Looks to me like a of users here had already expected a fall after a big pump that happened until 10k.
That is already a signal for a sell without any regrets. Now it had gone steady in 9k to 9.2k which is good. It is like this is the new bottom.

As move forward expecting large market changes to initiate for the upcoming days, the price fluctuates fairly but not that good. Although that spiked so high previously but it doesn't mean we recovered successfully, because I seen the bearish trend pulled back the rope against btc. So expect that $9k level will play until $10k or higher, or maybe at the last days of 2019.
668  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptonization Fail ? on: October 31, 2019, 01:48:07 PM
Are all crypto projects listed on coinmarketcap used for speculation purposes only ?
For the majority, the answer may be yes, but not for all. Essentially though it is, some are not only used for speculation. Suddenly we already can not expect that crypto will be used everywhere. Just remember when it was used in darkweb, now we have places we can use any cryptocurrencies as payment, and after some time we will develop further, and it will not be used only for speculation.

Cryptocurrency has its own capacity to grow depending on the demand from people who belongs to it's desired community. How come it was speculated? Coinmarketcap was just a website who handles the monitoring of each and every coin's progress, pertaining to exchanges volume in trading. Furthermore, there's selected countries who have been using crypto as their mode of transactions that's why adoption also increased simultaneously.
669  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to restrain yourself at a small loss and not spend money. on: October 31, 2019, 12:40:46 PM
It's a little difficult when we've played and there our emotions and ambitions cannot be resisted. although at first we have rules that have been made when it touches how much we have to stop, but sometimes we ourselves are carried away so that we spend all our money. I often experience this and in the end when we lose we regret it.when not playing we can make rules but when playing there our emotions can not stop
rules are only in mind before playing and starts losing or winning ,but when we seat in the table and start dealing?no there are no rules but eagerness and greed

i hate to say this but all gamblers has this attitude not unless the very discipline players who knows how to limit himself and know where to stand and leave the table, for me thats what we can call a perfect gambler

Descipline is very difficult to acquire once a person is drowned with gambling habits, limiting or controlling themselves is a big struggle. In eliminating this bad attitude, we need to look back on things that's very important to us, especially our family that binds us all the time. Once there's a financial problems I think, a gambler should keep in mind that family is more important than gambling so it should be the first priority and nothing else is beyond.
670  Economy / Speculation / Re: What do you guys think about the death cross ? on: October 31, 2019, 11:13:57 AM
Apparently not every news that we see is good and there have been a meeting in NYC of the big investors Who are analyzing the price of Bitcoin and telling how it's looming near the death cross, if it crossed that then it will directly hit the bottom price and People will loose a lot apparently.

Let's keep it realistic , no bitcoins hitting 1 million and such , what do you guys think of the graph ? Why haven't it been moving to a favourable turn and as far as I remember the holiday season is coming so I don't think I would expect a huge price increase Soon , because we all know how holiday season affect bitcoins.
The price of bitcoin reaching one million dollars is not what we are speculating for now, it is what we know that will eventually be the target of bitcoin in future which could be ten years’ time or more, because for bitcoin to reach that value, all the supply of bitcoin must have been extremely limited and bitcoin becoming so scarce, but right now, our next target of  bitcoin increase is not now or in this season of Christmas that we are approaching, but it will be after the next halving of bitcoin when miners will have their reward and that is what we expect to actually shoot the value of bitcoin high.

Bitcoin not moving upward in price is not a criteria to even judge it for not performing well because there are lot of trades and withdrawal going on and as people put in money for a purpose, so as they also pull it out for purpose too, people cannot just continue to Put money without removing it which we all think will be the main factor for having an increased value.

Most of the people who've been involved in crypto these days prefer to sell their holdings to get fiat money and makes cryptocurrency as their source of income. People always dumped their coins for important purpose, and even if bitcoin was at unpredictable stage like bearish trend, no choice but failed to hold their asset due personal needs.
671  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price today ! on: October 31, 2019, 07:56:38 AM
It is possible that Chinese news to adopt blockchain technology influenced the increase in bitcoin, although the plan had been planned since the page by China but news from Chinese President Xi Jinping coincided with an increase in bicoin.
but everything is related to BAKKT's performance results, and the news has a positive impact and has caused investors to be bullish in the cryptocurrency market.
Chinese market always have a big impact on the world market. This time with the positive speech about blockchain the impact is felt much on the cryptocurrency market. This is the major reason for the price pumping we experienced over the days. With this in mind more investment happened on Bakkt which further drove the price forward. Yet this hasn't initiated a perfect bull market. Hope for bigger growth over the falling weeks.

I always had a doubt that the recent pump wasn't just because of the Chinese leader showing interest in blockchain technology. He didn't even mentioned something about cryptocurrency or Bitcoin in his speech. It may have a little contribution to the pump, but there must be a major reason behind it. The massive buy out maybe caused by whales or from the momentum traders, or from the retail investors who were accumulating more Bitcoin in their wallet as a preparation after the 2020 halving.

You mean it was just a hearsay? If this wasn't true, maybe it's only a temporary pump and the price might fall back because there's no real adoption in China. Fud is erradicating nowadays, and maybe we shouldn't take the some of those news seriously. Whales is the one who made this thing possible, so we're experiencing the previous price bounce and fluctuations.
672  Economy / Economics / Re: So much for cashless society: cash is gaining in popularity on: October 31, 2019, 05:18:20 AM
The question of what the best store of value is, has gained in popularity lately.
It appears the solution some have adopted is: paper money is the best store of value!
All of which highlights a dire need for: paper cryptocurrency.
The best store of value is still the fiat currency and having a saving account in a bank is the safest option until your country has some serious economic crisis, storing these paper money and that too at home is not the smartest move and majority who does that may have made those through illegal purposes and hence not able to deposit in banks as you need to provide the source of income, paper cryptocurrency is also not a smart move but we might see that in the future but i am not going to use that for obvious reasons.

Making your fiat savings stagnant is the worst scenario at all, because it doesn't gain any huge fluctuations while you choose to store it in your bank account. Much better if we're going to use it for crypto investments while it's still had the chance to increase at huge amount of percentage. You double or triple that amount of yours if you're willing to risk for higher returns in long term trading.
673  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why are you involved with Crypto? on: October 31, 2019, 02:30:06 AM
Since the beginning knowing crypto, I want to continue to be involved in it. Why so? besides being interested in the technology behind it, for me crypto is an easy and fast way to earn money. I can say this because has compared it to other industries that I have lived in. In fact, I am willing to quit job so that I can continue to be involved with crypto and can focus on studying its knowledge deeper.
A lot of people have given up on their current jobs to focus more on this market because this is where you can be financially free and not have to spend too much time making money. In fact, the crypto market needs a lot of knowledge to survive because any mistake will cost you money and if you don't control psychology, you will easily panic sell.

Of course, anyone wants to make money in this market but it is still best to have a stable job to maintain your daily life because the crypto market has huge investment risks you can't predict.

Crypto is not for those people who didn't have the desired savings, if you're a basic earner type of person who just work for money at your own sweat, don't risk your money for crypto. Having stable job is good enough to support your family and basic needs in order to live. Predicting cryptocurrency price is the hardest thing to do, if you're not seriously dealing with several trading strategies and all related factor that affects increase efficiently.
674  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: bounty is still potential on: October 30, 2019, 02:55:36 PM
Since there have been many things and issues that are not good about ico and others, according to many members, the potential has declined drastically, can we all choose which one is the potential or not?

Honestly it's not a good year to join on altcoin bounty campaigns since most of them is a huge upset and it's a waste of time if you join on scam ones so better join on btc paying campaigns right now or find another ways to earn money here. But if you still like to join on alts then ask yourself or better think for it so many times if you can risk or not.

So frustrating if I recalled those days I wasn't earning with altcoins bounty, indeed it was really a waste of time and efforts. Even with year 2018, all expectations went so down on different projects I had, but nothing happens; its always a broken promises without any good listings at trading sites.
BTC campaigns nowadays was much reliable compared to altcoins bounties, so never miss the chances for money because it's right here as long as you're diligent and hardworking to earn for it.
675  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Long Term VS Daily Trading on: October 30, 2019, 02:26:40 PM
Hello everyone, I was introduced to this forum by a friend who advice me to be marketing IEO/ICO companies but I see trading as the only thing I picked interest and willing to spend time here to learn. As a result of this I have dedicated 5 - hours daily to learn about crypto tradibg here in the forum since my research only keep me discouraged and scared due to their negative emphasis. I will like to know the difference between shot term and long term trading and the one that is much profitable. Also the different risk involved in both.

Best Regards

CHRIS
Both styles of trading can be profitable what you need to do is to find out which one is better for you, if you are willing to take a higher level of risk and you are willing to watch the markets every day for hours then short term trading will be a good option for you, but if you prefer to minimize your risks and you have no problem with holding your coins for months or even years if needed be then long term trading could be a better option for you.

Maybe it can be done at the same time, if we're willing to do the rest and face the risk no matter what. Minimizing our risk was difficult to do, while you're maintaining that daily potential profit to at your balance. That's why we need to focus on our goals as we move forward on daily task on trading, and if sometimes you encounter such signs of losing we can divert our coins for long term holding.
Having both of these strategies will always be an assurance for us, to obtain a secure future on our important assets.
676  Economy / Speculation / Re: Are You Concerned On Sudden Rise of Bitcoin? on: October 30, 2019, 02:02:03 PM
We will be concern if the sudden rise is a bear trap, but days have gone and so far it it still holding and it looks like going to be sustainable at least in $9k range. So the concern would be if the price goes to $7400 again and then goes on another side way trading patterns.

So it's a sigh of relief for now and no need to be concern at this point. Maybe we could see another break out to $10k again next month. We are almost at the end of the year now, so I do hope at least a good 5 digit this year and see how it goes prior and after the much touted block halvening.

Recently, bitcoin price punched back at $9100 based on my updated blockfolio. So then, another demand is coming over to recuperate the losses and again this will recover at a given percentage depending on each trading activities worldwide. Also for some coins whose been closely affiliated with bitcoin tradings, you'll observed a definite changes from time to time.
677  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Price Bounces Back Above $8200, Are Bulls Finally Here? on: October 30, 2019, 01:35:50 PM
Bull trend i believe will come next year, maybe before halving, and a moment after halving. But i am not use analysis because i can't. Only speculate and maybe not suggest people to follow what i do. And for not correction and recovery will keep happen, because beside demands that i  believe still high on bitcoin, some reason will make it get correction in market.
Speculation is what majority of us have actually been using too and none of us is really so sure of what the future price of any coin will be. Bitcoin has been on a bull run for long time now, we only don’t have it is its full form, and for it to come in its full form, I think that it will be that next year as you say because of the halving.

The expected halving will make people to want to buy bitcoin then in anticipation that the value will rise after the halving, so there is every possibility that FOMO be present there, making the value to shoot till it reaches another new peak, and by this time next year, I am so optimistic that the value of bitcoin would have entered $35000, but like we always say, it is all speculation and not that we have any tool to properly analyses this.
Accuracy in the prediction can't be expected with bitcoin price. It is done based on different calculations in comparison to the previous year as well as the time period connected with halving. These days more discussion is about the growth, and this has occurred on account of China's decision. We aren't sure, as there is nothing official or a perfect tool to calculated the move.

The price has recovered after falling low to $7500. Once the price began to fall from $8000 people started to speculate as a time for buying and the drop will continue for a long. To the expectation market behaved in the opposite direction with bitcoin reaching above $9000. I believe once the price will drop low before it gives a price pumping of the year.

The situations is somehow explainable to most people who bought btc during slight pumps, in which some traders surfed out then ride on to the wave of price bounce. Someone might expect another bulls tried to blast off the bearish period, but still it was frustrating to watch the trend tremendously goes down after $10K breakthrough was hit at few seconds then back at almost $9K and beyond. It's not a big deal if the price go dipper, as long as it strikes a good price after and bulls will now take its dominance someday.
678  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: how i can protect offline wallet ? on: October 30, 2019, 01:01:40 PM
Okay, let's assume this unfinished story that the victim was sharing his private key online on social media or facebook messenger. I have suspected that the victim was accidentally shared the private key and that is very easy to recover the offline wallet into another wallet via importing the private key or passphrase. In this case, we should know our responsibility in keeping that valuable stuff and keep into a safe place and never trust people around you.

Of course keeping our wallet safe using offline resources can be done anonymously, and while making all important information towards it; I recommend using archive with password protection. Private key, passphrase or key store files is always vulnerable from any security breaches. That's why we're in need of these basic steps in protecting our valuable assets, because this involves a lot of money as it meets the desired value sooner.
One more important thing, don't store these privacy information at any of your google accounts, still not a safe idea.
679  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bitcoin Tide Lifting All Altcoins Boats on: October 30, 2019, 07:46:44 AM
trader strategy is like that its normal for me but if you start to take some bsv Iam not sure it will benefit to you ,this game trader there is very hard and the group is also very agile when growing value so my advice should be cautious if there is anything suspicious ,but that's all up to you if you believe you will succeed there

That's only a matter of time when we see good market for our holdings, then we must sell our asset and make that as final decision. Indeed we need to be careful on what moves we applied here on unpredictable market, because failure of handling it well tends to put your profit in danger. Meaning if your risk on something you're not certain with, it's a 50/50 chances of reaching our goals successfully.
680  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Curious for places for trading Crypto on: October 29, 2019, 08:44:39 PM
I’m rather new to trading crypto and I seem to be looking for places to trade crypto. I really don’t know where to trade and there are many places that show up in ads wherever I go on the Internet and I really get overwhelmed by all these places. Do you guys have any suggestions on where to trade, because I don’t and I really want to start trading
Welcome to the crypto world and to this community as well. You are on right place and don't believe on advertisements. Thanks God that eventually you got this forum. Most advertiser exchanges are pretty shady. Its seems you are beginner to crypto trading. So I will suggest just use Binance as suggested by some other user here. But don't play with big amount at the beginning. You will have to learn lot of thing regarding trading. Do not use those exchange advertise with greedy offer now. Because you are not aware about scam here. Google search might help you but always can't trust on reviews. So handle with care.
most people recommend binance on this thread, so I guess that is the first recommendation. however, if you don't feel comfortable with it, you can try another trusted exchanger I've tried. Click on the link below.

okex
bw-com
kucoin
digifinex

Note: most trusted exchangers require your data or KYC

Providing our KYC on these trusted exchangers can be safe for everybody, I don't see any dangers for those trading sites. I haven't yet do trading on some of them, what I was familiar of was Binance and Kucoin. The rest of them still reputable for me, because I never heard something erring about their services. The only difference about them was the exchange and withdrawal fees, that's why most exchanges compete on that aspects because every trader is more particular on their profit gains.
