Thanks for the replies. I meant anything over the prize pool payouts. Usually its better as you have a chance of being paid if its gtd. But I don't enjoy it unless the tourneys have much more people than the gtd pool. Anyways will be installing it and checking it out myself today.
662  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Best place to buy more than 100BTC on: September 19, 2016, 06:14:02 AM
Definitely would be best to buy it through a large exchange and not from a person directly, which could put a lot of risk on you for various reasons. Personally I would suggest bitstamp or Coinbase.
663  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Give me some business idea to start online. on: September 19, 2016, 06:05:10 AM
Correct me if i am wrong but i think that OP wants to start an online bussiness and not just invest his money in a site, altcoin etc.
Anyway i don't believe you should ask others about it,this is a desicion you must take alone. The only advice that i can give you for your bussiness is to do something you enjoy and you are good at it,then you will have more chances to succed.
Good luck
Thats what the thread title is, but he talks about the money as an investment, so obviously investments in crypto and crypto-projects are bound to come into discussion. You don't get guaranteed profit from businesses you do to enjoy.
664  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Do Localbitcoins sellers pay taxes? on: September 19, 2016, 06:03:14 AM
I wonder if sellers on.Localbitcoins are paying taxes? I know that in many countries Bitcoin is not regulated and in some you are not obliged to pay tax on Bitcoin itself. But are they paying taxes like registered exchange office or maybe for on line job and earning. Are they reporting this income to their relevant authorities? What do you think or maybe do you have first hand experience?

I don't think so the sellers from india on localbitcoin pays taxes. As it is really hard for the individual to show the business based on bitcoin. I have also tried asking some couple of banks about how to show the business , profit or loss of bitcoin business.

They said ," I have to register my business first , then I have to show my business turn over . Then I will be able to pay taxes. "

Sellers from India? What are you talking about ? Ofcourse no one will pay taxes claiming its from bitcoin. You should rather be showing it as earnings online which could be anything like trading or just freelancing, or buying/selling. With bitcoin you are likely going to come under the radar unnecessarily.

Not a good time to invest in Cryptocurrency right now. Consider investing in some shares of Apple or something, which are going up and will do so atleast till October end due to the launch of their new line of products. They will be rolling out a new Macbook pro as well befoe the end of the year, so you might as well hold it till then.

if you want to invest in the cryptospace, look into moneypot.
666  Economy / Gambling / Re: Cloudbet.com - bitcoin sportsbook and casino | BEST NFL and EPL odds anywhere! on: September 19, 2016, 03:49:40 AM
To Step up their game they should also add something for the bonus. After I claimed my initial deposit bonus, the points I have has no use and they won't even let us create another account.
667  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Is coffee.foldapp.com legit ? on: September 19, 2016, 03:47:58 AM
They are no longer active. They terminated their services back in August. Check out digital goods section to buy Cards instead from reputable sellers.
Yup, was just about to post this. They are not terminated but just inactive right now.
From the site "Sorry, Fold is down right now. We'll be back soon!
Follow us on Twitter for updates."
668  Economy / Speculation / Re: why should anyone invest in btc right now? on: September 19, 2016, 03:46:25 AM
There is no reason to think that bitcoin will fail any time soon. It is becoming more stable as time goes on. Plus the blockchain technology behind it is getting more positive publicity.

everything can happen, maybe in future a new altcoin can beat bitcoin, i dont know what is that's, but the technology will be higher than bitcoin.
but if we see some fact of bitcoin adoption, im sure bitcoin can survive Smiley

As an investor for the halving, its best to wait it out then locking away or investing your funds right now. A lot can happen over 4 years, so it would be rather best to put in your money in the 3rd year. I don't see prices going up between then and now anyways.
669  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Dark Net Market Vendors Reveal Their Day-to-Day Lives on Reddit on: September 19, 2016, 03:44:07 AM
OP, thank you for sharing the article. I wish they could tell us more than they could allow but that would be a lot of risk for them.

The the dark net market still growing at a fast pace. I think that this is also only the beginning and we will soon see more and more of these marketplaces and vendors go online because there is no way those people can avoid using the technology to make their jobs easier and safer. I believe there will also be other services that will go to the dark net in order to go around and avoid laws and regulations. The underground gambling sector will be next to go there.

The Darknet marketplaces took a hit after Silkroad went down. The scene is actually not so good because some believe that TOR is compromised. I doubt Gambling will go underground, because there is no one to monitor the sites currently anyways.
670  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Is coffee.foldapp.com legit ? on: September 19, 2016, 02:21:58 AM
Probably. It seems like a nice service with a good plan, and the starbucks thing is their first test thing. What really happens is that your buying a SB gift card I believe. Anyway, I checked their twitter and didn't seem to find any complaints (https://twitter.com/fold_app) A post on cointelegraph had Fold listed, and the comment section didn't have anyone complaining either. Anyway, they should be safe for small amounts.

Thanks for researching that. I also came across a btctalk post which said they could be using a carded SB card, which was my only concern. Will probably try out a small amount today and report back here.
671  Economy / Gambling / Re: LuckySpin Newest Mini Casino Site on: September 19, 2016, 01:37:55 AM
Any reason to chose a cheap .pw domain than to chose other domain endings like most of the sites do. Site looks nice, but a spin off of most of the themes. Was it a redesign of existing theme or a new one ?
672  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: IX FREE Tipster Competition - sponsored by DirectBet (Discussion Thread) on: September 19, 2016, 01:16:48 AM
Would it be possible to see the winners from months before this one ? Would like to follow a couple of people on betting personally Smiley

Well, we do have the Hall of Fame in the OP (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1256522.msg13024635#msg13024635) - it doesn't specify which competitions were won by whom, but it does show which participants have reached the top place prizes most often: Omikifuse (9), bitbollo (7), and patt0 (3).

But, if you really want to know the details for each competition, I suppose you can search this thread for the posts made at the end of each round declaring the winners. Smiley

Thanks for that. Really impressive to see, some of them having won so many times. Also doesn't look like most of them have tipping threads here.

674  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: Just converted 0.5 mBTC to 8 mBTC on: September 19, 2016, 12:25:19 AM
Congrats on your win. The post however sounds like a way to advertise the website instead of you sharing your win. Anyways its just about 15x, and at a small amount its completely possible to win such amounts.

hahahehe,

I like the way you are replying, and it is possible that the OP may be the owner of that site or he is trying to promote that site, Because i have not seen anyone else claiming that they won on that site. And it is highly possible that low amount bets mostly get you win but as soon as you start to bet high your loosing streak will start.

Its not like the site is rigged or something. Small or win, you will have equal chances on a fair site. People just tend to think that losses are more common at higher bets but its not true. I have hit good multipliers at even higher bet amounts a lot of times.

676  Local / Press & News from India / Re: [2016-09-14] Mint: Wipro steps up blockchain focus on: September 19, 2016, 12:21:11 AM
I was talking to a colleague of mine working at Intel(not the Indian office). Even they are working on blockchain technologies but only in the financial sector. Does anyone know what kind of projects is Wipro working on ?

I doubt if it would be anything other than the financial sector.
It is only in financial services that there is interest in blockchain implementation right now, to cut costs.
Thats true, but there are a lot of other uses for the blockchain as well. One example was the voting system that can be implemented using it.
677  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Dark Net Market Vendors Reveal Their Day-to-Day Lives on Reddit on: September 19, 2016, 12:19:13 AM

Good article, but I think they're not wanna for telling about all of the things.... just in some important point.
And just like the most seller in here and different in their stuff is including an illegal stuff.

Obviously they can't be discussion all their strategies. They can't do something that illegal and be compeltely transparent about it.
678  Economy / Service Discussion / Is coffee.foldapp.com legit ? on: September 19, 2016, 12:16:40 AM
I was thinking of buying some starbucks with bitcoins and was wondering if the site coffee.foldapp.com is legit ? Couldn't find much information about it.

679  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Do Localbitcoins sellers pay taxes? on: September 19, 2016, 12:15:55 AM
I am a localbitcoin seller and I do pay my taxes. But sometimes not for all the amounts as its difficult to show the profits and losses there.
680  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When will be see bitcoin as international currency? on: September 18, 2016, 11:47:27 PM
To be honest, I already see it as an international currency. I just hope more people accepted it. Whenever I have to send small amount of money say below 500$< I try and get the other person to accept bitcoin and make the deal through it. Its much simpler than paypal and all which require a very large fee.
