I bought 6x Hex16B in Nov 19,22,23 for Dec Batch 1 delivery.

1x arrived by the 13th December, 4x have just changed to "shipped" on 4th Jan (not arrived yet), 1x still says "payment accepted".

The products are real, delivery is a bit slow, but I'll still be first in the queue for ordering the next generation of Hex8A1 (28nm) whenever they become available.  Wink
662  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Technobit 40 GH/s HEX16B(Bitfury ) 462.00 EUR now shipping on: January 03, 2014, 12:31:16 AM
What is the status of my order?
Did it get shipped with the last batch?

EDEGSUOLY

Use https://technobit.eu/index.php?controller=history if it shipped it will say "shipped" (I had 1/6 ship out so know this)

I'm waiting for 5/6 Hex16Bs from 22nd & 23rd of November status as "Payment accepted" still.

This is 42 days to deliver something described as "now shipping" and "December batch 1".

Seems more like a pre-order with every day that passes and I wonder if I'll ever mine the cost back.
Watched their mining potential drop from 1BTC per month to 0.5BTC since ordering.  Roll Eyes

Bulgaria is a full member of the EU from 1st January 2014. What you pay depends when you sent the item.

http://www.customs.bg/en/pubs/5265

There should be no import/export duty inside the EU but you might be charged VAT.

You swap the cards over, make a backup of the BIOS from a good card (or download one from the web http://www.techpowerup.com/vgabios/) and copy the BIOS back to the other slot.

The card in 16x slot 0, closest to the CPU, is the master.

I bricked a 7950 the same way writing to both BIOS with a bad BIOS and the PC wouldn't post. I pulled it out, stuck a 7850 in slot 0 so the PC would boot, and the bricked 7950 in slot 1, then wrote a good BIOS downloaded from the web (http://www.techpowerup.com/vgabios/) back to slot 1. Make sure you don't write it to slot 0!

Have you got 1 or 2 "pulse" component??   @ MArtin I've got 2 board it Work at 48 Gh, 52Gh  it's a good job  but All  Bitfury chip  is not in the same direction,  and I have got 3,5% HW Error  If I soldering All chip in same way I will have less HW Error? board will work better?
somebody Work at perfectionate Hex miner?  a thread anywhere to get more information?

Your Hex16B sound like they won the silicon lottory. Mine has 2x WE744355122 power inductors and averages 41.5GH/s. @ 540/900mV
H/W error comes from how far you push the voltage. I've got 0.5% rejects. What is you mV set at?

I have faith that Jesus walked on water. I just kind of figured it was winter.

There is no evidence it was winter.  Roll Eyes

Wouldn't matter.  The Sea of Galliee never freezes.

It does snow in the deserts, and reach freezing temperatures overnight, plenty of evidence of it on YouTube, and this is during Global Warming.  Wink

I don't believe in global warming, or everything in the bible, but Jesus was probably real (multiple evidence sources), and had a positive message for humanity.
670  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What does the bible say about Bitcoin? on: December 23, 2013, 03:19:44 PM
The Bible says.

Usury: Lending money at interest is bad. (Fiat is money backed by debt it only has value because we are all in debt) Government for our parents to register our birth and we are used as collateral against government loans. The Bond holder is your slave master.

Fair weights and measures: Cheating people on the value of their money is bad. (The value of fiat is manipulated by Exchange Stabilization Funds and Bond purchases) Inflation means most people will have to keep working until they die!

The most important video you will ever watch on how debt based fiat money really works: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jqvKjsIxT_8

Okay so I managed it to connect my Hex16A2 to the power supply but could not get it to start hashing.

I downloaded HEX Miner 1.0.0.3 and the mining proxy. Still am not able to get started.

If someone is able to help me in exchange for a small donation please contact me via PM

It may be leaking power out of the USB port in which case a surge protected USB port would ignore it.
I'd say plug it directly into the TP-Link router to check if that was the issue, if you were using one, it solved my non-mining miner issues.
672  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Technobit 40 GH/s HEX16B(Bitfury ) 462.00 EUR now shipping on: December 22, 2013, 10:55:48 PM
Order Reference ISGOMHAFR

Shipping choice was broken, is it possible to add shipping afterwards?

I keep asking Martin to add an item to the Accessories page called "Add Missing Shipping" so we can get our orders out of the shipping jail.

My crime, the mistake of combining orders with the "or bigger orders" shipping option. Sad

Try moving the monitor cable to all the different cards to see if you get an output after the screen goes black. It maybe outputting the display on another card.

If that don't work...

You have 3 PSU rails ((Rail1-1300W+Rail2-600W)Max Combined 1560W) and the other PSU is a 744W rail.
Overloading a power rail would cause problems like this.
Try spread the power out over more individual cables and check your not overloading a rail.

75w x 6 = 450W just on the molex alone.
6-pin+8pin = 225W per GPU x 6 = 1350W.
CPU & Mothboard = 100W at least.
Total = 1900W (82.5% of the max available)

It may be kicking in the "Protection" feature...

"Over Temperature/Current/Voltage/Power Protection, Under Voltage Protection, and Short Circuit Protection provide maximum safety to your critical system components."

If it's not the power it may be the CPU or MB not supporting 6x PCI-e properly.

If they're screwing over the tax system, they'll have no problems screwing over their customers.

Why mess about importing from the Chinese?

www.bitfury.org are in the UK (Bristol) their Bitcoin chips are more power efficient than Avalons by a long way.

http://www.enterpoint.co.uk/cairnsmore/cairnsmore1.html are also in the UK (Worcestershire) and have the expertise to build the boards.

If we got these folks together we could build and sell the best damn mining machines right here in the UK!  Shocked

One simple reason Gator,  TAXES!!

I'm still looking into building our first 1TB unit but the TAXES are killing us.  Everything that we need to build has VAT and not knowing how many units can be sold + ROI, its not as easy as 123.  So far, its MUCH cheaper importing.

However, YES I'd love to be able to produce these here in the UK and are still researching.

We are only a small company and have been running for many years.  Bitcoin I believe is going to explode and I'd like to be a part of that explosion when our UK stock starts filtering in.

As a VAT registered business you pay no VAT buying from other businesses in the UK/EU. You only add VAT once you sell it to a UK/EU customer. You can also offset depreciation of you stock against your VAT bill. You cannot escape VAT by importing goods anyway.

Gator, I have had endless conversations with our accountants and your suggestions are well known and discussed.

Simply put:
We are NOT VAT registered yet?
We will be VAT registered once we have decided if we are 'doing well' and its worth registering due to minimum threshold.  We don't if the numbers are going to be good or not hence why I'm hesitating spending £63,000 on building here in the UK.
For now, Mining Hardware is registered in China and the UK office is a "collection point".  All mail order imports are sent direct to our customer who will be responsible for import duty.  UK retail collections will have a stock price + 20% tax.

Building these units in China is soooo much cheaper dude vs building it here, even with import tax.  Like I said, I'm still investigating.  I will be more inclined if the numbers are good.  Still early days.  I intend to kick ass Wink

You still need to be UK VAT registered to use (OSR) Onward Supply Relief.

You'd be better off mining Litecoins with the GPUs.
678  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: Black arrow prospero x-1??? on: December 21, 2013, 02:56:05 PM
it would be a good if you had it in your hands now, as of march it won't be that profitable unless bitcoin prices go high. if you are looking to make money, just buy some btc and sit on it for a year.

I'm new here but why do I see so many replies like this in the MINING section of the forum?  I would think people for the most part know that they can buy/trade BTC...I mean if that was what he wanted to do he would just do it.

I'm not trying to be rude...just curious.

People deeply invested in mining equipment who don't want to see any more sold because it affects the difficulty level/their profitability. They don't really care about saving us from ourselves. Even if they might be correct.

It is correct because you take on a lot more risk by going down the mining route.

So it seems Technobit hands them over to Speedy, and Speedy hands them over to DPD (or something like that).
Downside is that both sites still state the package hasn't left Bulgaria yet Sad

Anyway, I thought this information might be useful for some people here.

I had no tracking number at all when my order went to "shipped", selected DPD shipping at checkout, but it came with Speedy stickers all over the box.

Please state the date of your order that will help people know where they are in the order queue.
