Train starts moving shopping time is now! Fingers crossed! I'm all in! Don't put your eggs all in one basket, I spread mine of 20 coins. Shitcoins get a small %. Quality coins like Sia get 5%+ of the total portfolio.

Did anyone buy this coin when it was under a buck. I wonder if they are still holding.
Still holding, got some at $.20 and $.25, yea, I know I am lucky! At the time the website was very amateurish and there was little marketing. The antshares reddit thread was a ghost town.

Maybe, as it is the only practical way to get Bitcoin exposure in an IRA. BTC could have a massive run up to $10,000. I can't predict crypto though.

So if I understood right: the pricing is about 1$/1TB per month? Isn't that way to low for regular normal people?
If you look, how many TB do most of regulars have in their system? Probably 1 or 2 TB HDD. I don't see how this project can be used for small normal people (like myself), I see it only as only big HDD farms can benefit from it.
Normal people benefit because of the lower prices. You can use Sia and pay $2/month and have better privacy, redundancy, with out worrying about some centralized owner changing the rules on you. Or you could pay a big cloud provider $10/month, worry about them peaking in your files and worry about them cancelling or reducing the service on a whim. I hope it is clear now how normal people could benefit.

i really dont get why people are panicking and selling. With the redpulse ico coming, the price of NEO is just bound to go up right?
Its just common sense, i dont get why many people dont see this, or maybe im just too smart...
Right, I would give it a little time for the recent FUD to digest, then we should head higher.

I invested in SIA on June 18th when it was 0.018$, I invested 7 BTC which is worth now 1.75 BTC and I got 1M sia. I am just too disappointed in SIA that this coin has not been going up like all others even things they implemented like ASIC miners for next year, This was a utter failure on their end but once again I am a bag holder due to SIA and cannot sell unless I break even which I don't see anytime this year but u make mistakes and you learn from these mistakes. I learned it the hard way, Hope sia bring out something big or new which would increase its prices. I hoped to invest in SIA that if it ever touches 1$, I would have 1M$ in my pocket but 1$ seems impossible for this coin due to their current progress. SMH!
That was near all time highs. I was telling my friends at that time to stay away from crypto as it got to far ahead of itself with prices. It was clear to me it was in a minor bubble. Also if you calculate your losses in USD they would not be as dramatic as compared to BTC as BTC has quite a run of late. In USD terms I think SIA is about 55% off it's ATH.

Thanks, of particular interest to me using the barterdex would be coins that are Proof of Stake type coins like DCR, RADS, STRAT, GAS(from NEO) or interest paying like KMD. Also on the list, where it says Impossible, could it be possible for some of these coins if they made some adjustments like it appears they may do for GAME?: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1266597.msg21357003#msg21357003

I'd wait for breaking 200 SAT for a confirmation. ATM I'm swing-trading half of it for a short-term profit.
200 sat is nothing. just wait for few more weeks. we will enter into 4 digits.. this is most undervalued coin compare to competitors You're seriously delusional if you have hopes for an above 500 sats sia. I see you invested and hope for a pump, but this is simply not going to happen. The Sia ATH is like 850 sats back on June 20th, so it certainly could happen again. It certainly got ahead of itself, and I would prefer a slow steady rise.

Ok, things have definitely gone bonkers in Cryptoland, folks! A simple re-test of the ATH in BTC terms means that KMD will be trading @ $5!!! $5 is nice, but $20 is where dreams come true. $20 is nice as well but $100 would be better, so I can retire!

I am trying to setup a POS ticket with a pool and just wanted to confirm that whilst the DCR are in my wallet, the pool cannot access it? I just want to make sure my funds are
safe before setting up a ticket, as I have never done this before. Also is for the backup is the only thing you need the wallet.db file? Or do you need more files?
Cheers mates!
Yes, the pool doesn't have access to your coins, they remain in your wallet during the stake period, you cann't use them until this period is completed. It can take from 24 hours to 142 days, it depends on your luck. Sometimes it's possible to have several tickets bought and voted with the same coins within a month, making the profit go from ~2.5% to ~5%, 7.5% per month. For backup you need only the seed or if you prefer the wallet.db file. With the seed you can recover in different wallets. With wallet.db only in an equal wallet. Hello please i would like some clarity on the percent earned for POS is it percent of coins i own or percent of block mined that i earn? And how does the ticket work is it like a lottery or once i have 63 DCR i can just start staking? Yes, the current ticket price is 63.04 and the ROI is 2.29%, see current ticket prices and history here: https://dcrstats.com/

One thing I dont understand is why you still have the points system. Since 5 RANDOM winners will be choosed.I know the more points the better chances , but anyway the winners are randomly choosed. Also, you forgot to add the reward for epic medal. Thanks
I think it got fixed. The top 5 will be picked Seems like fun, I will give it a try.

Damn so expensive now. Is the price too high to get into now guys?
Well if this becomes the ETH of China, then it is cheap. Many expect it will be $100+ by the end of the year.

Chinese govt considering to ban ICO. Sell now guys.
Just FUD. They are looking to regulate it and may suspend ICO buyers in China. Many ICO's already don't allow buyers from the US and China. Anyway even the NEO ICO's planned were not concerned about Chinese ICO buyers. China will not want to kill it own homegrown product. They will just regulate it, and NEO will be in the best position in the end.

Sell 90% of your BTC and put them all in alts. Summer is almost over, and alts will likely be in favor again in the fall. Wall street kids are investing their spare change in alts, don't miss the rocket!

Sia finally awake? 10% raise i hope it will go back up for good ! Yea maybe, there have been a lot of impatient investors complaining about no pump. This is often the sign of a bottom.

Crytopia says SC / BTC market is closing
Due to ongoing transaction issuesSiaCoin(SC) has been scheduled for delist, please close all open orders and withdraw your coins before 24/09/2017 Cryptopia SC/BTC 0 BTC in the last 24 hours. Yes we need more markets to accept this coin, but this does no affect the numbers I guess if that's the hope we're looking for, it is dead. Cryptopia had a daily total volume of less than 2000SC You can trade your Sia on Poloniex (not recommended due to their problems handling withdrawals), Bittrex, Shapeshift, Yunbi... Do you really need more markets, guys? With such tiny volume on this exchange it would not be worth it for them to host it on this exchange. It can be a lot of work for an exchange to host a wallet, and SC is a more complex wallet than most. No big deal IMO.

In preparation for the JUMBLR sharedrop, I made an API call that generates a snapshot so it will be much less work in the future. IF the sharedrop was at block 464000, http://5.9.253.204/snapshot.464000 is what would have been used. Likely the values wont change too much at 472000 so you can check your address to make sure there is no mistake. Using the above, a test run of the dividends API generated: http://5.9.253.204/sharedrop.464000The average ratio ended up being 0.00049240 Keep in mind this is not the actual sharedrop, but what would have been as of 464000. I will use the same methods at 472000 and will post ahead of time the exact set of proposed sharedrops. Let me know if the amount for your address is not right. Nice work, I checked my address and the amount is accurate. I will collect interest one more time this weekend. Thanks so much for this generous sharedrop.

I am trying to understand the feaures of Decred. Am I right on this: For the voting process you have to buy tickets (like a lottery). With these tickets you can vote for changes (e.g. Block size) or to rate the last mined block as valid etc. The more tickets you have the higher impact for the voting process is.
Am I right on this? This seems to be special for Decred (beside Hybrid PoW/PoS).
you are pretty right with your assumptions - except that buying tickets is not really like a lottery. tickets have a price and you always get one (at least if you pay enough ticketfee). there's a more than 99% chance (@decred profis, correct me if am wrong) that your ticket gets voted with a 50% chance that it gets voted within the first 28 days. IMO decred has way too less public attention, it deserves much more. once it gets the attention, price should go up. You read it too literally. He was correct: the voting process is like a lottery. To participate in the "lottery", you have to buy tickets. But yes, 50% chance your ticket is called to vote within 28 days. Actually on average every vote takes 28 days or so, not just 50%. Some vote in 1 day, some in 60, but if you stake a lot the average is 28 days, plus one day to mature before you can vote with that Decred again.
