Did someone finally lend him or not?
I would hope not. It will be an easy case for prosecutors.

Gavin and crew will comply since they wont like a cell in Gitmo, and so dies Bitcoin.
You don't know Gavin, do you. No one on the dev team would support a protocol like this. They also can not be legally be compelled to write code.

ah, what would they do? Take me to a therapist? Drugs are my only option. There is nothing else I can do. If anything, xanax is my best option. I mean not only can it help, but it makes me feel happy. It can numb the shitty life I currently have. It makes me forget. Just living the moment with no worries. Amazing. It is better than smoking weed.
My understanding is that those effects become less and less over time. Eventually you will be eating handfuls of the stuff just to not feel like a nervous wreck.

Just out of curiosity, does anyone happen to know the shortest and longest periods between blocks thus far?
There was a thread long ago about longest time between blocks. If I remember it was like 9 hours. Wow, I'm guessing that made a few people nervous. Thanks MM.

Another vote for bitcoin's utility, security, and low price. For on-line shopping nothing comes close in these areas.

I think that a pan of the audience should show people staring at their cell phones and iPads thus breaking a 5th. wall.

I, for one, made that same mistake back during the Pinkie Pie episode. To this day, I still have to catch myself in making sure I didn't/don't use the she pronoun when replying to or referencing Rassah.
That said, I consider Rassah one of the most trusted members of the Bitcoin community and love to see him part of The Bitcoin Foundation in any capacity.
Bruno Kucinskas
I met Rassah at the bitcoin thing in silicon valley. I can confirm that he at least appears to be a man. Also that he is an alright guy.

The question is "where can I get money"? You can sell stuff, work for it, buy it with other kinds of money. But just like pounds, you are not likely to get it for free. Mining is another option but not an easy one. You could, for example, mine gold. To do that you will have to make a huge investment in equipment, which is why most people buy gold instead of digging all day.

I of course plan on selling weapons for bitcoin to all sides.

kinda like this thread then?
Why are you here then? It's Saturday and I had some time to waste.

The drug money that is laundered through traditional banks absolutely dwarfs the bitcoin economy.
Sigh. Thank you for that astounding revelation. The point, people, the point: Opponents say that Bitcoin will better facilitate drug economies and money laundering. We say no, that cash already does this and is better suited for this because it is more anonymous. Going by the argument of the OP(that cash is not more anonymous than Bitcoin transactions) - are we wrong? Is cash less anonymous? I just mean that it is a non-issue. Like cash it depends on how you use it. If I walk into a 7-11 wearing a disguise and buy a soda with cash, it is an anonymous sale. You could also do bitcoin transactions in an anonymous way. For that matter, fraudulent credit card transactions happen every day and the perpetrators remain hidden. It is not a bitcoin issue. I have the right to keep my identity private for legal sales but not the right to commit crimes, no matter the currency.

And what exactly are $USD's, is that some kind of alt coin? Can you use them to get real bitcoins?

|

Fastest way i know of is to purchase it!
+1 True that. Or if you have something you are willing to sell for less than market value. Think garage sale items.

Is it just by exchanges who change the prices based on how much money they want to make? This is one thing I am concerned about bitcoin by. How is the value calculated?
The people who have bitcoins offer them for different prices, the people who want bitcoins offer to buy them for different prices. When a bid and a sell offer coincide that is the price of a bitcoin. It is not the exchanges who set the price, it is the individual users who agree on the price. The exchange just brings buyers and sellers together in one place. There is really nothing more to be said. This is the answer. The simple market forces of supply and demand determine the price of bitcoin.

How bitcoin is usèfull? How i can earn on it?
Just like all money. You can sell for a profit, work for bitcoin, or buy and sell between different currencies. A simple way that I use is to buy some bitcoin when the price is low, then spend it when the price goes up. It is like buying everything at a discount. Translation of text above: تماما مثل جميع المال. يمكنك بيع لجني الأرباح، والعمل لbitcoin، أو شراء وبيع العملات بين مختلف. وهناك طريقة بسيطة أن الأول هو استخدام لشراء بعض bitcoin عندما كان السعر منخفضا، ثم اقضي عليه عندما ترتفع الأسعار. هو مثل شراء كل شيء بسعر مخفض.
