681  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: Sapphire Radeon HD 7970 good for mining? on: May 13, 2013, 04:36:12 AM
These would be great for mining. Would you mind providing me a link so I can get some:)

Neat pool thanks for providing it. I'll have to check it out to see how easy it is to mine with.
683  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Uh-oh: Hitler learns of open carry rifle march on Washington- Hilarious on: May 13, 2013, 04:34:38 AM
Hilarious Grin Thanks for posting it, it really was interesting to see!
684  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Best place to find old graphics cards? on: May 13, 2013, 04:30:28 AM
Ebay would be my number one choice followed by Craigslist.
685  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: BULL BEAR! or PIG on: May 13, 2013, 04:28:58 AM
Bull.... though I see where the Bears are coming from.
686  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: BTC volatility index on: May 13, 2013, 04:24:00 AM
What's needed first is a futures market to hedge and/or dampen the volatility. Then we need an index to measure the volatility.

+1. I think that this is possible but it would require someone to really believe in and support the system or support this happening. Whoever does it could make some nice money though:)
687  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: MTGOX website not working for me? Anyone know why I can't surf to mtgox site? on: May 13, 2013, 04:21:07 AM
It could have been experiencing a DDOS attack that would have prevented you from being able to properly reach the site. Just make sure you are on the correct site and not some similar phisshing site.
688  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Litecoin FPGA developments on: May 13, 2013, 04:20:36 AM
I find this interesting. I hope that Asics don't become popular or possible with Litecoins. However, if it is popular to mine them with FPGA's assuming this development happens in a year or so, I will probably invest in the FPGA's some after Bitcoins shown the rewards of the early adopter if I have some funds lying around.
689  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: estimated time to get verified by mtgox? on: May 13, 2013, 01:06:27 AM
A few days to get verified should be all it takes. I'm not sure if they verify over the weekend but they are definitely slower.
690  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Overclocking with poclbm/live-miner on: May 13, 2013, 01:04:02 AM
Neat setup:). However, have you tried using cgminer, from what I've heard, cgminer is by far the best client to use when trying to GPU mine or overclock.
691  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Found my transaction in blockchain, but have not been paid yet? on: May 13, 2013, 01:03:07 AM
That's interesting. Have you tried contacting them about it? With that many transactions, if you were fully synced it should have definitely shown up.
692  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Electrum Problem on: May 13, 2013, 01:02:13 AM
Just wondering what does the Electrum client do, I have never heard of it, however it seems interesting. Thanks!
693  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I have MoneyPak, and want BitCoin on: May 13, 2013, 01:00:49 AM
I would recommend if someone offers you to do a transaction on this forum to be very cautious. Other than that I can't really help you so I want to wish you the best of luck!
694  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: OK so I have Ripple (XRP).... on: May 13, 2013, 12:59:45 AM
I'm working on getting ripples but have heard of them being a scam since the developers/company kept a lot for themselves. If you don't believe in the currency, there are members here offering to buy them at like 1btc/9000 ripples.
695  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Coinmama not accepting amazon codes. on: May 13, 2013, 12:58:02 AM
Can you provide a link to this? I did a google search and didn't get anything relevant. Also, you should make your username appropriate:).
696  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is my card to old? on: May 13, 2013, 12:57:05 AM
How much ram do you have, that can affect reaper... slowly probably is because your card is old, but I have a new Nvidia 650m that I'm using for tests before putting money into it (this is on a new laptop) and I can't mine litecoins either just bitcoins and terracoins.
697  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: help needed selling gift card on: May 13, 2013, 12:56:02 AM
Try the marketplace section of this forum. Then you can sell it for bitcoins so you can sell your gift cards and help support bitcoins:)... actually I don't know if your like me, but I have several gamer friends who would love those games so I would give it as gifts to them.
698  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Greetings on: May 13, 2013, 12:54:50 AM
Hello and welcome to the forums. I hope you enjoy your stay in this 'world' of crypto-currencies.
699  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: ATI drivers sucks on: May 13, 2013, 12:54:22 AM
Seriously every time I update my ATI drivers I end up spending 2 days fixing all the things that went wrong because of it.  You think I'd have learned by now, I've been using their crap since 2005.  Next time I'm going with Nvida.

That would stink to upgrade, however you realize Nvidia is useless for mining crypto-currencies as of now. You would be better up sticking with the drivers you have, why constantly upgrade when the current drivers you have work fine.
700  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Selling Warcraft Account on: May 13, 2013, 12:53:14 AM
This belongs in the marketplace section, posting it in this section makes it look like spam or a scam.
