ZEN rank #75 in Coinmarketcap
Dude you are very late. Zencash jumped on the first page of coinmarketcap a while back now Pretty sure I will be in the top 50 by October Number of locked coins in nodes increase everyday, this influence price stability in this berish period. Also our position at Coinmarketcap is solid at the moment.

Hey, I have discovered a secret maybe. The new brand name ends with EN letters Who wanna bet some zen? Do you mean that Zencash is planning to rebrand? I actually like Zen very much, not sure that it would be a good idea to change it. Well, in case of Dash this was very wise move, there's no denying. Many of us are completely accustomed to use "ZEN" but if this can help expanding of project, then we should follow logic. Curious about the brand expansion? ZenCash is now the largest node network w/ nearly 16K nodes! This makes us resilient to hacks, power failures, & interference in our voting system. The network is integral in deploying dApps by harnessing large amounts of computational power & bandwidth. https://zencash.com/technology/Congrats ZenCash by hitting 16k nodes totally in the network. These massive number of nodes can do both important things: keep the health of ZenCash network, and can be used for computational purposes as you stated. ZenCash is now the largest node network with over 17,000 nodes! This makes us resilient to hacks, power failures and prevents interference in our voting system. The massive network is integral in deploying dApps by harnessing large amounts of computational power & bandwidth.
Having many nodes is essential to a safe and secure network. Nodes ensure that all of ZenCash’s consensus rules are being followed and can reject blocks that do not comply with the rules. In many ways, nodes are even more important than hash power because they ensure that actors are behaving properly.

Since the inception of ZenCash (little over a year ago), the ZenCash team has achieved over 80% of their initial whitepaper goals.
With the addition of Super Nodes, ZenCash has become more than just a currency.
It has become a platform, with potential dApps being built on the ZenCash platform.
Due to the recent changes of not only being a currency anymore, ZenCash will expand their brand to better represent what they are and stand for.
The date for the reveal of the new brand is set for the 22nd august 2018.

Did you not notice that phuongden plagiarized your own comments or what?!?
Nope, I don't have much time for this kind of investigation, we have moderators here. Im trying to bring more information to those who are interested in this topic. If so, he is breaking forum rules, and can be banned..

Most important that we have basics, SuperNodes enabling now integrations of side chains and we actively working on it. Our DAO will be on our first sidechain. Sidechain must be developed first and DAO will follow. Possibilities are endless, this computing power and storage capacity will be available for many applications to be integrated in this system.

I have been reading about zk-snarks every now and then but is there a working implementation out there as of now? Is there something where we can see that protocol in action and get a feeling of what it looks like to use it?
Yes there is a "working implementation" you can use this technology for sending Z transactions, where transaction is shown in Blockchain but no informations about sender and sent amount , is not availabe..Also you can use our chat alpication build upon this techology, so you can send private and anonymous messages. https://forum.zencash.com/t/zenchat-messaging-application-on-top-of-zen/326Zero Knowledge Proofs - ZK-SNARKS https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hxbgsamAtW8

Guys, please someone tell me, how is it still possible that the full client for Windows still does not support encryption of the wallet.dat file?! IMHO this should be there in version 0.0.0.1 alpha. Am I misunderstanding something obvious here? I have been waiting for this very trivial feature provided by all other cryptos that I know, but still, on GitHub there is still the same security warning: no encryption! Please, tell me there is a good reason for this, even though I cannot imagine yet what that could possibly be.
This is certanly not an trivial thing! The issue comes from the original Zcash code where due to "stability problems", wallet encryption was disabled. https://github.com/zcash/zcash/issues/2011Vaklinov (Dev) commented on 18 Nov 2017 "The ZEN private keys are stored in the wallet.dat file by the ZEN core node and it does not yet support encryption at file level. For that matter ZCash does not support encryption yet either... Encryption will surely be supported in the future." One ZEN wallet that already supports encryption is Arizen: https://github.com/ZencashOfficial/arizen
