Good question but no, read the whitepaper What's the purpouse of mobile mining if it still can be miner with CPU and GPU (even if you have hidden GPU miners)? One modern GPU can mine with the same hash as 50+ mobile phones. Can somebody ban this prick from this thread!! Can you explain yourself? I am being constructive here. You are not, the one to be banned. My pixel phone does 20 H/s on XMR minergate. My I7 on one thread Windows ETN miner, does about 37 H/s. My 1070 does 644 H/s, my 1080 does 577 H/s. In case someone wants to see some benchmarks on cryptonote. You cant use minergate as ANY kind of measurement. |

Minergate uses the phones resources to mine the coins, or lets say try to mine the coins. Even pools don't work at all. For the 5th time. Read the last few pages before you post. Again, you use the block explorer to check how much you mined because the transactions are not live yet, for security because of a botnet attack. Started mining ETN already.
I've never mined before and don't have a high end computer but it was really easy to set up.
I just downloaded the windows newbie one.
You put in the public ETN address from the offline wallet you can get if you registered.
I hit start mining and Voila!
In other news, it looks like there was an attack to hack accounts so the ETN team is busy securing things and then will release the mobile miner and wallets. So just be patient and we can move our ETN to the wallets when they go live.
As far as exchanges go, they are waiting approval from 9 different exchanges.
Since the blockchain just barely went live it might take awhile before they get listed.

If we didnt have such high profile devs that are experts in security and pretty damn clever, you wouldnt see this type of success combined with none of your coins getting stolen.
This reason this happened, is with 370,000 registered users on the website, those with weak passwords, which numbered in the thousands, got hacked. The devs found out and shut down the transactions so that those people wouldnt lose their coins.
Everything will be like you are used to seeing it, as soon as everything is safe.
The devs were not about to let thousands of people lose their coins to hackers just because their passwords didnt have uppercase, lowercase, numbers, and special characters; those werent hacked. |

Accounts were breached due to weak passwords set by the users. So they found their emails changed, in an attempt to steal the coins once we went live. This was caught shortly before the launch, so that is why the mobile miner is down, and there are no transactions yet, but you can still safely mine with a computer and use your public address to mine. The devs stopped the hackers from successfully stealing even 1 coin. |

I understand that there are many things that the team has to do at the same time, but many failures are not? This coin had the attraction of being the first that could be "" mined "" with the phone, but with the difficulty it will make with the gpu I think it will be impossible to do something productive. correct me if I'm wrong.
